Our antique car club joined the Labor Day parade & Had lunch there after(about 22of us& they knew in advance we were going). About half of us received our food quickly & the other half pretty slow. The food was Excellent & I really enjoyed my catfish & fresh salad. No complaints were heard about the food. I will be back!

We really enjoyed our meal here. Our server, Jessica, was very pleasant. It was a quiet evening because it was not crowded at all. The only reason for one less star overall is because it does seem to be pricey. We had the shrimp and Mahi basket, shrimp and catfish platter, fried sliced mushrooms and one soda. The bill was $68, plus tip. We would definitely eat there again.

This was my first visit to Tin Fish, and it was a good experience. The fish and chips dish was plentiful and delicious. Service was great, and the Tin Fish lager was a pleasant experience.

For the amount you pay the portions are small ,over cooked and serviced in baskets. It may have been an off night but really it should have been way better as a dinner house not a picnic place. For people who have had seafood from California to Maine all over Florida nope not even in the ballpark.

Tasty and a pleasant atmosphere. Priced a bit high but aren't we all.

I have been here four times and no matter how empty it is, it takes forever for someone to greet you and get you a table. The food is very mediocre.

We recently found ourselves passing through Okeechobee, FL and saw this place from the road and decided to stop for dinner and we're glad we did Server was friendly and hospitable. The establishment had both a bar/lounge and restaurant side. We were seated at a table in the main dining room which was open. There was also outdoor seating available as well. The menu had a lot of variety and featured many mainstream options and a few wild ones. We got some of both and thought food was great. I had the famous haddock fish sandwich which was fantastic and everyone else was really pleased with their order as well. Two thumbs up for this place....so glad we stopped.

Best chicken wings and coleslaw on the planet.

The dining room was disgusting and not clean. The food was not bad at all, but was still kind of bland. You can see where the table clothes that are rubberish material was dirty where they only wipe off the tops of the table and the ends were near black. The bathrooms definitely need some deep cleaning.

I was not in the mood for fish, but my husband was. So I ordered a hamburger. When I received it, the meat looked white like a freezer burned frozen patty. I showed the waitress and said I don't want this frozen patty," Something is wrong with the meat."" She is sorry and would have the chef cook it more. Mame, I don't want it at all. She tried to please me with something else, and I said no, thank you. She removed it from the bill. I just wonder how a chef could cook something like that & plate it, and how a waitress could serve it. I wished I had taken a picture.

The Big Fat cheeseburger wad 10 ounces of juicy flavor. The fries were crispy and tasty. It's worth every penny. Dog friendly outdoor seating is a big plus.

Ate at several places in ocheechobee and this place is hands down fast service, friendly knowledgeable staff, great food and this place has your gator and catfish along with frogs legs !!

All frozen stuff. Can do much better than that.

The missing star is because of the appetizer. The Tin Fish Sampler was pricey, and I wouldn't have minded if it has tasted like it was worth the money I spent for it, but it wasn't great... we left nearly all of it on the plate (see pic) The rest of the meal was terrific tho. We spent $100 for the three of us -- including the tip. We had 3 diners, two of them had the grouper sandwich, 1 had the fried shrimp plate. We had 2 beers, two sodas, and one very expensive lackluster appetizer. Thankfully the service was excellent and the entrees were delicious. The restaurant is also very nice to look at.

Stopped here after exploring Okeechobee. Ordered fried pickles and cheeseburger with fries. Pickles were great but burger wasn't good at all. On menu, says 100% Angus but it definitely was not. Tasted like a McDonald's burger and cheese was weird. Fries tasted frozen not fresh. Odd that Okeechobee is surrounded by cow farms and serving cheap meat. Server was nice and decor was ok.

Came to FL from WA and stopped here for lunch. The server was delightful, the food was hot, fresh, delicious, and came quickly. If you're passing by, definitely stop in.

Food is horrible and the entire staff including the manager and owner are very rude. "They need to get their act together".

We had a great time at the Tin Fish. We each had a chowder and the large sampler platter. Smoked fish dip was also delicious and a large portion. Sabrina was our server and she was wonderful.

When you first walk in, the restaurant is ... dingy. The bathrooms are like the worst truck stop you've ever been to. My friends' liked theur food. My shrimp were raw, and I couldn't get the waitress' attention to take it away without waving my arm in the air and saying "excuse me". I was told this was the best restaurant for lunch in Okeechobee. I hope for the sake of the town, that isn't true.

Food and service were fine. The bathrooms were beyond disgusting!!! Makes you wonder about the cleanliness of the kitchen. I mean, don't the employees EVER use the bathroom? How could you let the customer have such a revolting experience after eating your food?!?!? You can do better!

We just had lunch at Tin Fish and it was outstanding !! The food and our server, “Laura” were top notch !!! Would highly recommend the Tin Fish !!!

Waiter was good, wait time was 45 minutes, then 45 more to get our food. It appeared that the to go orders were placed ahead of the dine in customers. We ordered an appetizer and it was 35 minutes to receive. We will definitely go again and give them another try. The food was hot and really good. They were out of several things and the waiter came back twice asking us if we wanted to substitute something. All in all, we enjoyed it.

Maybe my expectations were set too high for a first visit. Still may not return...

This town is seriously in the middle of Florida. A clean looking town, in a very contemporary looking building with great unique food. I have a hankering for a meaty clam strip. My standard is: at least the same diameter as my pinky finger. No pieces or toothpick size strip. This place was real. A unbelievable 7 layer carrot cake that will melt your taste buds. The coal slaw was great, too, especially with the balsamic vinegar that made the slaw even better. My belly thanks you.

We dined here tonight with a party of 4. We had a slight wait for a table but Javier ushered us into the bar for a cocktail while waiting, and shortly thereafter we were seated. Javier made our night, was an excellent waiter, and maintained a positive and friendly attitude with my not so easy to please BIL!! We all enjoyed our dinners and will return when in the area. Javi, you deserve a medal!!!🏅

We’ve been coming here for years and always find it be an amazing place. The food is outstanding. Today we had the drunken clams, grilled snapper, mahi fingers and clam chowder. All of it was simply amazing. The chef also stopped in the check on our table. If you live in Okeechobee, or just passing through, make it a point to come in and have a locally owned business cater to you and provide you with some outstanding food and service.

We always eat in the bar as it's quiet but service is still great. Steaks melt in your mouth!

Was here around 5dys ago with two special friends. This is an unpretentious, diamond in the rough casual chain. Everything was through the roof delicious, and I mean EVERYTHING!! 1hr drive for me and two and a half drive for my friends. Had to meet half way but more of a drive for them. It was great seeing them again. A very rememberable lunch day!! 💛💛

I had the clam chowder and grilled fish tacos. Delicious especially with the slaw. My hubby had fish and chips and said it was good.

Service was fine but food basically fast food for restaurant prices. $20 for four shrimp and four oysters. Old grease. No seasoning. Fries were the highlight of my meal.

Friendly atmosphere with good service to boot. The combination plate with gator, frog legs, and catfish was excellent. Also, the hushpuppies are a must. Our waitresses was very accommodating with all of the sauces we wanted to try. The house sauce was the best.

Hey there was in the area last Saturday and decided to stop by for lunch/dinner. It was great when you walk in there’s the bar on one side and diner on other. The booths and tablecloths remind me of a diner style dining. The service was great, everything was great. $85 (not including tip) for a kids meal and two dinners is a little steep for fried food I think. I got a Ceasar salad with mahi and shrimp and it was a $30 reg plate of salad. Partner got fried catfish and kid got fried shrimp. Don’t get me wrong the food was great! The atmosphere and area did not reflect the price in my opinion. Service was exceptional! Thank you for a nice experience.

Went in for what use to be called the Okeechobee special,, which was 5.95 or 6.95 with a drink,, but over the years and just now has went up to 13.95 without the drink now.. talk about aggressive pricing.. gonna price them out of business,, been going there since they opened,, looks like those days are over..

My favorite place when I come down. Friendly atmosphere in restaurant and the lounge. I always get the Gator and catfish dinner. Never disappointed! Wings are exceptional also! Calamari is a must have!

Friendly staff great atmosphere. Very clean. Our party of 20 after the car show had a wonderful dinner. Food was cooked great no one had a complaint.

I have eaten here several times in the past and was very satisfied but today's visit was very disappointing. It was just after noon and all tables we tried to sit at were dirty, food on floor and under tables, both bathrooms were dirty and overflowing with trash. I could not order lunch with the party I came with, I'll wait until I get home.

Excellent service, food and an all around great experience

Excellent food. Huge clam strip. Their cinnamon brown sugar sweet potato fries are amazing! They have pool tables and bar on 1 side of the building. Diner is on the side for quite dinner with family.

The fish and chicken seemed to be of quality but then they were mixed with the cheapest buns if you got Sandwich. I had a Cesar salad and the romaine was a pale leaf and seemed to be mostly rib. The grilled chicken on it was great nice and tender. Dressing was on the side and looked 5 gallon jug store bought.

The first time I went everything was great, food and service. Everything. The next time I went I sat there for 30 minutes, and yes I watched the clock. And no one came to my table to wait on us. We got up and left. Haven’t been back, and probably won’t go back after that.

Myself and 2 of my co workers went here for dinner and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. The atmosphere and service were great, and the food was excellent.....definitely a must if you are in this area..and our server Arena was simply the best..shout out to her and all the rest of the staff

We happened upon this place leaving the nearby casino. So glad we checked it out! All 3 of us had the catfish and shrimp special. Each cooked different ways. All were so fresh and amazing and the hush puppies were divine. The restaurant itself has a very cool atmosphere and very CLEAN bathrooms!service was friendly and fast,and the food was delicious. If you are looking for a great casual mid priced seafood place,. This is it!

I ate here on Tuesday night and felt like I was right at home with all the servers. The owner was out talking and laughing with everyone as he is such a genuine person. His food is the best. I had shrimp tacos and they were absolutely amazing! I will always stop by when I’m in the area. This is a diamond among the plain rocks. Amazing place and don’t be rude they won’t put up with it. GENUINE!!!!

Disgusting I have absolutely nothing good to say about their food the gator bites were breaded crumbs my grouper sandwich was on a completely soggy nasty bun the water tastes like mold and I don't like the setup in the dining area looked plain and a little trashy for my liking but I do not recommend spending any kind of money at this establishment I don't know how they're still open

Stopped in for a quick bite on our way back to Jupiter. Had a fried fish platter with haddock, shrimp and a crab cake. Onion rings were delicious! Food came out fast and our server Nikkie was so sweet!

Went with the family for a birthday dinner. I've got a shellfish allergy, and they were SUPER accommodating. Ended up with the cheeseburger and it was spot on Medium Rare, and that's big praise in this town, not many people here know how to cook that properly. Big props to the kitchen staff for getting all our food out in a timely manner too. Didn't catch our servers name, but she was awesome too. All good stuff from around the table too, definitely looking forward to my next visit

I had gator bites which I have never had before my waitress took the time to explain the taste, and the texture to me. The entire waitstaff was incredible. If I could give them more than five stars, I would.

Conch fritters & crab cakes came out raw in the middle. Crab cakes tasted like raw stuffing. Couldn't see or taste crab. Lobster bisque was good. Corn & crab chowder came out like water. Not a chowder at all. Clam chowder was good. Young cooks in kitchen not wearing hair nets or hats. Will not go back!

Food was good. One time it's great and next it is lacking. I enjoy eating here and the service was ok, again one server is Awesome and the next is OK.

The gator was tasty, the sauce for dipping was really good. The frog legs were a little over cooked but better slightly over than under, ya know what I'm saying. The slaw is different but very good. I really enjoyed the slightly sweet but vinegar-y taste. The cornbread was yummy too. Service was friendly.

Food was awesome kaboom shrimp are the bomb! I had the wedge salad and my sister had the chicken tenders. Salad was fresh and the tenders are prepared like the fry their grouper. All around 10!

Drab decor. The bathrooms were the grossest thing I've ever seen. Mold growing on everything. Thank God I didn't go in there 1st. Wouldve walked out.
