As a native new Yorker, how has it taken me 5 years of living in AA to find this place. Their pizza and sandwiches are absolute 🔥

Best pizza and calzones in the area. Great selection of ready-to-eat sandwiches and many other sides, meals and desserts. Huge selection of beer and wine.

Ok pizza and chicken, heroes, salads sometimes orders get messed up. Nice people, good selection of sides, desserts.

Great "run in" spot! I like to grab ready pizza and drinks, or pick up a pack of beer, the deli items are yummy, and the staff is especially nice!

The food is great. Drink selection is great. The working staff is great ... only downside are the coolers, not very cold. It would be nice if they could be turned down a few degrees this time of year.

This place has the best pizza in Ann Arbor! I make it a thing to stop in everytime I come out this way! Definitely won't regret stopping in as they have a TON of alcohol and the staff is very friendly!

We are frequent flyers here - our go-to pizza place (take and bakes are our favorites) and a great selection of wine, beer, and liquor. I wrote this original review years ago and stand by it - just came home with more pizza and beer. They did add in a great snack, candy, and ice cream section too!

If you need a delicious meal freshly made to take on the go, make this your stop! Their salads are huge and enough for two meals. My favorite is the grilled salmon or deviled eggs for great low carb options.

Great pizza, always love stopping in for a slice. Other ready made food is very good as well. Went in looking for a bourbon from a local Michigan distillery that I cannot find anywhere else. They had it and much more.

They are a serious party store. They have a huge selection of wines, craft beers, and small batch liquors. They also have a great deli which makes NY style thin crust pizza, good hearty sandwiches, and tasty take home dinners. If you need your local party store to cover many needs then Tippins is your go to.

This place used to be absolutely amazing about 2 years ago but then something happened and everything has been going downhill ever since. It's makes me really sad because this used to be my favorite spot.

First time enjoying the fabulous food at Tippins! I chose the chicken noodle soup which rivaled my homemade soup. I can't wait to return to check out their many selections of yummy food. The staff was greet you in the door prompt and kind to this newcomer. Stop in you won't be disappointed!

Already high prices exacerbated by extra money grab charge to customers who use credit cards. That's a cost of doing business! Already took most of my business elsewhere and will continue avoiding this place.

The selection of grocery items is fantastic and the pizza is very good. Though, it's not quite as good as it was a few years ago. But it's still really good! The employees are super nice and helpful.

You can keep your OVERPRICED pizza. Been going there on and off for over 2 decades and last time I recommended your place i was EMBARRASSED. Took coworkers and they ordered a few slices and grabbed a drink and over 20$. All i could do was apologize. They were not from the area and had sticker shock as did i a 25 year resident.

Been coming here since I was a kid amazing food and drink selection. Lately the girl with short hair serving pizza on weekdays is extremely rude to every customer. Only bad th ing I could say about this store

A friend was anticipating the white pizza and thought it might be decent based on reviews. What an over-priced disappointment. The flavor was garlic and nothing else. The Mediterranean pizza was changed to a “Greek” but billed as garden special. Neither pizza was worth the price or something I would recommend to anyone. In the Ann Arbor area stick with Cottage Inn. In deference to a broader review, the liquor store has a decent selection and the home baked pies have a better than average pastry crust. The store has some good points but it is not particularly spectacular.

Just the absolute best convince store on the face of this earth. Pizza is seriously top notch. The new chicken sandwich is out of the world and everything else that have pre-made is delicious. Prices are alittle high but you get what you pay for. You want good....go somewhere else because Tippins is GREAT!

I have been coming here since I was a child about 3 years old unfortunately I hadn’t been back since I moved away. Came back today and got a slice of pizza and it was just as good as I remember immediately flooded with nostalgia 10/10

Updating this post from years ago. ...still amazing! The selection of prepared and fresh foods (as well as beer, wine, liquor) has only improved. Our family gets pizza and their awesome broasted chicken on a regular basis. Super awesome, knowledgeable and friendly staff! Tippins is always a hit with everyone in the family. We relied on them through the pandemic, and will continue to.

Great liquor and beer selections.

Every kind of take home dishes! I had lemon peppered catfish. It was excellent! Side of beans n rice, and peppers n corn! Pizza and calzones rule!

My experience this last time wasn't the greatest. I called in my pizza so I can come pick it up. When I got to the store, it wasn't crowded at all. I walked up to the empty register and waited patiently. The man that was working saw me and came over, didnt say hi, welcome or how can I help you. He just walked over and stared at me... customer service is terrible. I finally tell him I have a pick up and tell him the name its under. He checks for it, its not ready. He tells me that and asks if i wanted to pay now. I said sure. Tried to hand him my card, he points at the card reader and says put it in there. They need to work on their staff's customer service. Its lacking and rude. Pizza was ok. It was too much cheese for me. I ended up taking some off. It's a cool place to come to prep for an event because they got your food and drinks all in one place but don't expect the greatest customer service.

I hope customers in the pizzeria will be treated better at some point as well as employees. With the unnaproachable management style in place my direct supervisor actively trying to fire me for over a month. I'm glad he finally did! I will always recommend the market. Especially the precooked ready to go meals from the back. Also great customer service up front at the registers selling liqour only. After being fired from the pizzeria by unbelievable toxicity even being called a cancer to the workplace, luckily the mindset of community that I was so heavily disrespected by as a child ended up being successful, this came as no surprise. At least I stood my ground First time ever being fired in my working life. Much better off now. To the owners you made the right choice, thanks for the opportunity. -March Isaac Wells.
