Order dinner last night for the first time last night...... food was absolutely amazing!!!!!! Definitely will be visiting again!!!!!

Very good food. Great service Nice friendly place.

Prices on the menu isn’t what you see on the receipt. They charged us to share a sandwich even though we ate off the same plate. My husband asked for some limes for his beer And they said they had to charge if he wanted more than one lime slice per beer. Talk about nichol and dime!

Had chili and Reuben sandwich combo..both were excellent!

Came in on a Saturday with my family. Got two kids meals (chicken tenders and cheeseburger , both come with Fries) my husband got “the mustang” with fries and I ordered the mustang also, but wanted my filet to be grilled not breaded. The waitress looked at me strange and then said okay and then I asked what the grilled veggies were , I told her I was allergic to mushrooms so I would like the onion rings crispy. They brought all the food out, fries for all dishes were not cooked all the way, daughters burgers were over cooked so she didn’t eat them ( they did take the order off and we didn’t pay for that) my son ate a little of his just bcuz he wouldn’t touch his breakfast and was hungry, my partners chicken sandwich was over cooked, my chicken was rubber, and I got fries instead of my onion rings. Another waitress noticed we weren’t happy and fixed the whole Issue with taking my order off and getting me the onion rings. Over all the atmosphere is what you expect it to be and the service only got two stars bcuz the other waitress cleaned the mess that was caused. I don’t recommend here unless you don’t mind eating uncooked or overcooked. Maybe you have to know what to order. It was our first time here. Maybe the cook had a bad morning.

Love this place with new location. Been going since it was over on Roosevelt Blvd. Love the open face roast beef sandwich (the Jaguar).

We had lunch here. The staff was very nice. I had the roast beef au jus. This sandwich was a bit bland. The roast beef and provolone cheese tasted like processed food. The roll was fresh. The french fries were tasty. My wife had the blackened fish, which was very thin and not very good. The potato salad was not to my liking as well. Overall, the food wasn't very good.

Food was delicious, Miss Priscilla was attentive but definitely not obtrusive. The menu is hard to read, to me, but I enjoyed my lunch VERY much !!

We love Tom and Betty’s every time we go it’s great food. We hope to always get Priscilla the server. She is one of the best. If not the best there we appreciate to see her every time we go and she always treats us wonderful thank you Miss Priscilla. We wish you the best. See you soon.

Large portions and food always good.The waitress of color was short with my husband the last time we were here. After a few months coming back her attitude wasn’t right; which makes us uncomfortable so we won’t be back.

This is one of my favorite restaurants but the experience on that day was not good. The restaurant was packed and service was very slow. I've never been here at lunch time before but it was chaotic! I will continue to come because I love the food and the usual atmosphere. I'll stick to the evenings from now on. By the way the food was good but it took almost an hour to get it.

Never again!! Food is expensive for what it is. A super greasy cold "melt. " is what I got. I or anyone can make a better sandwich then the slop coming out of this place. Do yourself a favor save your money and go somewhere els. Service was not great waited almost an hour to get food. No to go cups, I'm pretty sure our waitress forgot about us a handful of times! Being she said to my wife "oh yeah yall are my people." At this point we were ready to go! Then gave me a pen that didn't write, to fill out my receipt with. That was just the little cherry on top for me. Then get annoyed when you tell them that you need to leave then all of a sudden the foods ready hhmmm???

Stopped in here for dessert and was totally blown away with the service. A young waitress named Eva served us and was just the nicest and happiest server with the best disposition. The dessert was delicious, especially the root beer float and the funnel cake fries, but we would come back just for the good service! You don't see that much anymore these days! Thank you for showing some people and places still act right! We will be back!

Great food. Nice atmosphere. Service is usually good. I think they may be short handed. Normally it's great service.

Terrible food. Grilled cheese sandwich was ALL bread with very little cheese. It was not hot nor were the fries. Very slow service. Understaffed. Eat before you come to eat here. Overpriced for poor quality food.

Ok, why a 1 star review? An upcharge for an adult getting a kids mini burger meal, a charge for the lettuce, a charge for the tomato and a charge for the pickle on the mini burgers. An upcharge for using my debit card. We have been coming here for years playing trivia and if it weren't for Deric as trivia host and Candy as a server I'd never come back. The food is fair at best and expensive. Management is cheap and pathetic.

Overall nice atmosphere with live music. However we had a birthday party and they charged us for a cake and they charge a service charge if not paying cash. Food came slow few in the party were done eating when the others got food. Also the staff was selling things not on menu. Overall be cautious when choosing this place for a party.

Huge huge sandwiches! Had a blackened fish sandwich and had to take most of it home!

Can’t believe you guys charge for an adult getting a kids meal! We are on a serious weight loss journey and can not eat full meals again without wasting the adult meal with that being said we will not be back to this money hungry restaurant! Shame Shame Shame!

We stopped by this restaurant a few weeks ago while on our bicycles and it didn’t disappoint! Excellent food, huge portions and nice atmosphere! They prefer cash but you can use your credit card for a small fee. The portions were just huge! I would recommend!

Atmosphere was fun and everything is car themed. Definitely older demographic that visits but we were warmly welcomed. Food was DELICIOUS and fairly priced! We really enjoyed our visit

On Google maps, they have build your own salad for $11 and change but when, I ordered, the price went to almost $14. Guess, they forgot to update all the soaring prices of today. Upon arrival, I had to stand there and wait for almost ten minutes and then had to track a waitress down. Too, she didn't seem too friendly.

Room and Bettye is a unique restaurant with a 50s theme - lots of license tahes on the walls, some red n white vinyl upholstered booths reminiscent of the past. The menu offers a build your own sandwich or various sandwiches with names of cars! Clean, fast service, courteous wait staff. I split a meal with a friend & the kitchen split it for us, with a small additional charge. They do charge a small extra charge for using a credit card, to keep their charges low. Good thinking & very fair, making it your choice. The options are well explained. I felt rushed by the wait staff once the meal arrived, which didn't seem needed because there were plenty of empty seats. A real treat, go and you won't be sorry.

Pretty good betty. Would go back. It is what you would expect, a small and quaint diner. They also have a bar and I wonder what it's like later in the day. The food was better than most chain diners. Overall if you like that kind of thing, you should go check it out.

Priscilla is a great server. She is courteous, polite, and makes your dining experience a fantastic one.

Very disappointed. We called a week before to see about a reservation and they were not clear about the process of where the $10. Seat charge goes. Then it took over an hour for part of our group to get their food. They need to plan to have more servers on a night with a popular band.

Lunch atmosphere on a Thursday was very nice! Had a BYOS with a ham and turkey and provolone on sour dough bread, which was delicious! The fries were exceptionally good! Service was fast!

Stop by for lunch 2 minutes b4 they opened. Lady putting restaurant signs out rudely let us know they didn't open til 11 and locked the door. Waited til 11. They did not open. We left and went to Grumpy's. There we saw the couple that left before us.

It appears my plate was not brought out when it was prepared. The soup was not even warm and the Reuben sandwich was cold. The bottom slice of bread was wet and difficult to pick up. My empty tea glass was never refilled and there were no takeout cups when I was leaving. Very disappointing!

This place will nickel and dime you to death.. They charge you extra to pay with a card.. Ok not a fan of that but they do advertise it pretty well once you get in there however I was shocked when they charged me $1.49 for a side of barbecue sauce for my chicken tenders literally just lost a customer over $1.49 hope it was worth it absolutely no excuse to be charged a dollar 49 cents for barbecue sauce when you order chicken tenders as somebody who eats out 7 days a week I have never been charged for one sauce just absolutely ridiculous....food was good and hot. Server did not offer me to go drink not impressed with that at all.

I adore the mashed potatoes, green beans, and gravy with the chicken fried steak. The portions are enormous. I always bring enough food home for two meals. You must definitely try this restaurant!

I ordered the Benz with leather interior thinking it was a sandwich. It was just a patty on top of mashed potatoes and came with green beans. Menu did not really explain this. Also just said "comes with 2 sides" but when I ordered I was told it just comes with mashed potatoes and green beans. The menu needs to be updated for this item.

Went to Trivia Night with a friend. Everything was great! Recommend. Went to Karaoke Night. May not be for everyone. I enjoyed it and made a new friend.

Amazing food for a fraction of the cost. Big portions, and freshly cooked. Some of the best fries I've had. Our server was really nice. Very casual experience, and made it feel homey.

Food is great and the atmosphere is even better! The staff seem a bit overwhelmed as there aren't many servers but they do a very good job there with being as attentive as they can. The Thursday trivia night is an super fun to be a part of!!

Let's start with the positive: service was good...a bit pushy trying to give our kids soda refills when we try to limit their intake...but overall good...super friendly and attentive... Now for the negatives...walked in and the empty tables were mostly dirty...hadn't been wiped down even though dishes were cleared...we were forced to sit in a table right under the fan so my wife and kids were cold...normally not a huge deal but the place was empty and that was the only clean table we saw... The chicken tenders didn't seem like real chicken...more like the pressed stuff you get at McDonalds or Burger King...for the price it would seem like we should have gotten real chicken... Mozzarella sticks were doughy ...never had one like that...it wasn't good... The oil they cooked our stuff in had to be old and dirty...everything came out with a layer of char marks and oil...from my experience this is due to dirty oil...based on the lack of cleanliness in the front of the house it wouldn't surprise me this was the case... My son's mini burgers looked disgusting...grease laden and looked like the cheapest meat you could buy... We ate less than half our meals and took the rest to go...plan was to bring it home to our teens who weren't with us...we didn't like the food but wanted them to try it prior to throwing it out... We didn't even make it half way home when our stomachs turned...wife and I both got sick from our meals...I think the only reason our little ones didn't was because they refused to eat. Needless to say we will not be back...we have now been twice and neither time was a good experience... Oh, did I mention that there's a surcharge for using your credit card? Sorry, but fees on credit cards are a cost of business...I shouldn't be made to pay extra because of that...maybe what you should do is adjust your prices appropriately and just offer a "cash discount"...sure makes customers feel better than paying a surcharge off your already inflated prices for a lackluster and imitation food product.

The food was great, and the service was ok.

Went on a bingo night and while I understand that it's a busy night, we never heard from our waitress for almost two hours after having our order taken. No refills on drinks, no apologies for being behind, nothing. To add to the fact that our table took a very long time to get our order; other families who came in after us got their food over 30 minutes before us. They do these bingo nights fairly often so they should be more prepared.

The waitress was nice and attentive. My daughter and I stopped in for lunch and enjoyed our food. 7/12/2023 Yum Yum!! The hot dog I got was very good! Our waitress was attentive and nice. ✌️👌👍

Great food. Took forever to get there.. over 30 minutes with maybe 12 people (we were 5 of them). Never had this issue before, but disappointed.

We aren’t from this area.. but have been stopping at some local places. The Food was amazing!! Burger was perfect.. the cheese sticks were delish. If you are in the area, it’s worth the stop!

First off, if you want to go to a restaurant on a Friday night with anyone you want to converse with, do not go here!3 of us ordered "The Benz". Very dry, peppers were slimy and had an off taste. Tots, pasta salad, potato sald and green beens were our sides. All sides ok, but the pasta and potato salads were warm and not that tasty. Couldn't see our food since the only light from our area came from outside the restaurant. We were blinded by lights as cars parked and left. The blinds were not to be touched as per signage. 3 percent increase on all orders if you don't pat in cash. Website menue is not the same as the nenue we were given at the restaurant. Will never go back. Food was not worth the money at all!

First time there last night had the mustang sandwich and it was awesome! Spouse had the burger and it too was good! Our server, Candace was very attentive and on point. What's not to like...diner type food with a full bar. And live entertainment too.

My son and I ate at Tom & Betty's and the food was outstanding. We had the chicken quesadilla. Our waitress was Christie and she was great. We will definitely be back!

We have gone to this restaurant three or four times now and it's always spectacular!! Love the chicken fried steak gravy mashed potatoes and green beans. Servings are very generous. I always bring home plenty for another meal. You really must try this restaurant!!
