Is there a reason to go to any other poke bowl restaurant? Answer is no. This one one the one in the east side are the best poke places in town. Everything is always fresh and tasty. And the owners and staff are polite and friendly. They have no problem making you feel welcome. Love it! Edit: Oh no! They closed the other restaurant, now it's a Korean place. That was my and my wife's favorite place to go. 😭

The man making food for us when we visited for a Friday lunch was such a nice and dedicating staff! He offered me a VEGAN impossible beef ramen that wasn't on the menu, and it was one of the tastiest ramen ever! The special green tea noodles that he made for my bowl had a very lovely green tea scent and the texture was soft and perfect for ramen. The bamboo shoots were also high quality. I just wished there had been more vegetables in the bowl -- but I think if I request next time, they'd kindly make it like that for me. And it's around $15 for a ramen or poke bowl here.

Wife and I both had Ramen, although they also have sushi, poke bowls and other options. Food was prepared fresh and service was very nice. Hard to tell they were open (open sign wasn't on) but worth checking out!

Super cute place that's tucked away, we only found it by accident. The food was delicious, great serving sizes, and everyone was super nice. We had a chicken ramen bowl (forgot to take a picture), Ahi Poké bowl, a dragon roll and spicy tuna roll. Definitely recommend!

This is hands down the greatest place to get poke. The service is always fantastic and the quality of the fish is outstanding. My husband and I lived in Hawaii for 3 years and this is the most authentic place around by a long shot. Don't bother going anywhere besides here it is truly the best!!!!

Friend staff and tasty food! Stumbled upon this restaurant and I cannot say enough good things. The fish and ingredients are soooo fresh. The sauces are too yummy and the seaweed salad is to die for. This restaurant has made its way into my top 10 in Knoxville. I will be back often!

Best Spicy Raman in Hardin Valley

Tomo's new sushi bar did not disappoint. The sushi/nigiri was fresh and made to order in front of us based on our preferences, excited to return.

Patrick "My Man Sushi" IS BACK!! Since the original locale went Bowl Only (and now sold off) the Hardin Valley shop has sushi again. OMG ... Mike hooked me up with some really good stuff. Fresh Sashimi Platter, some funky eel nigiri, and a Tempura Shrimp Roll for dessert. Yeah, I'll be back.

Wonderful place to eat! Food is superb, staff is amazing and very accommodating. They even took a special request for sushi rolls they use to have at another location years ago. Definitely recommend and will be going back more often.

THEY ARE BACK!! Recently moved from Knoxville to Hardin. Not just poke bowls but Japanese dishes too. From appetizers to entrees everything is as fresh as can be because of its popularity. Don’t forget to check out their ramen which is how I initially discovered Tomo. Parking is shared with other businesses but adequate. The inside has tables and counters that can accommodate families, but there are tables outside for bigger families. Fresh, Clean and Tasty so check it out!.

I tried this place when they first opened and have come many times since. The food is usually very good and fresh! It has gotten quite pricey, like anything, but I would say it’s worth it for a well balanced meal.

The chicken Raman was good, hot, and large serving with noodles separated from broth. While good, it needed some spices or something. This was a carryout order, but the restaurant looked like a nice place to dine in.

Really disappointed, the location on Kingston Pike has long been a favorite restaurant of mine, but this one was really terrible. We called in an order of pork ramen and chicken hibachi, and thought we did it at the Kingston Pike location because they didn't identify which one they were over the phone. When we did get our order, my girlfriend couldn't eat her ramen because the broth was truly terrible. My hibachi was crusted beneath her food in the bag, and when I did open it, there was no shrimp sauce, which has always been included at the other location and a must as their rice is usually kinda dry otherwise. Not only that, but my fried rice smelled straight up rancid. Gross. Finally, my chicken and vegetables had a distinct taste of seafood, I suspect they cook their chicken and shrimp in the same pan, I don't have a shellfish allergy bud I'd be careful if you do. I won't be back, and I'm honestly rethinking whether or not to go to the other location now.

I love Tomo, this place has pretty good food, great service and they’re very nice. My friend and I asked them to split our one order of ramen and make one of them spicy and they brought it to us in two bowls and exactly how we ordered! It was so nice!

The food here is fantastic - definitely the best poke in Knoxville. The broth on the ramen is amazing, with an aromatic broth that will have you drooling from across the room. If you haven’t stopped by, make this your next date night.

Fantastic place to get Poke near the Pellissippi State Hardin Valley campus! It's casually cozy inside the restaurant and has an outside area available for dining as well. They have several small tables and a bar area with daily specials/discounts. The employees were friendly, efficient, and clean. There were many options for making any Poke bowl you'd like, with fresh and delicious ingredients. The sauces are tasty and they give you a pick of 3 when making your own bowl. We didn't try the Ramen or Hibachi this time, but they have a good selection. They also had a good selection of drinks and the pricing is reasonable.

Best poke I've ever had, maybe the best meal I've ever had. I'm so elated with a full belly. Worth every penny.

Chipotle for Poke - nothing to write home about, but a good lunch while you are out and about.

The food was wonderful, and the service even better. The gentleman at the desk was happy to help with any questions we had, and when we left someone even held the door open for us. We got a bowl of ramen and a poke bowl. The ramen was so full of flavor, and the poke bowl had a perfect balance of all the ingredients.

This is a different one then i went before. I was told about this and i should try it. I had business in the area. Well it on the corner part of the little shopping center so go the side of it. They was so helpful at this . With my food Allergies its a need. The food tastes great and so fresh my mango. I will just say if you looking for something different while you are in Harden Valley stop here. It is great.

They have ramen very similar to the original in Japan, although their chashu can be slightly softer. Nevertheless, it is hard to find the broth and ingredients with this quality in the States.

Absolutely amazing Poke bowl. It is my new go to place!

I've dined in and eaten the Big Orange Poko Bowl. I've also done pickup for a salmon Hibachi. The poko bowl serving was large and ingredients were fresh. Service was also nice. However, for the pickup order my order was wrong and the sauce was sloshing all over the bag. The hibachi ingredients were saltier than I'm used to at other places but the Salmon was fresh. They should set aside a to-go order table and find more appropriate containers.

They get your food quickly and the servings are huge for a reasonable price. I felt bad for not being able to finish it all. If i was a bigger fan of poke bowls it would have ben delicious.

Best Poke bowl I’ve ever had!!! Place is very chill, good outdoor seating. Over all good food although I would stick with the poke, and not the hibachi or ramen. Great cold beer too. I go there at least once a month.

Staff was friendly, food was ready quickly and I was in and out without struggles. The hibachi was pretty good, but the meat is generally overcooked. The rice and veggies are well cooked and seasoned, and the tea I got was very good. If you go, I don't recommend the pork or chicken, maybe get the fried tofu or beef, which I did not try.

Both the food and service are top notch. Ordered the takoyaki and tempura ramen. Takoyaki was delicious, but the ramen was on another level! Broth was creamy and absolutely amazing! Quality is the keyword here. Definitely recommend.

The first few times I ordered tonkotsu from here it was better than average. Last night I ordered two ramen bowls and when we got home I had to add all kinds of stuff, and neither of us finished our bowls. The broth must be cooked long enough to give it the cloudy/milky texture signature to tonkotsu, or it's simply bland watery broth. Not appetizing. Please, allow the eggs to marinate until they're brown, otherwise, what's the point in marinating them? And where was the nori and wood ear mushroom that most tonkontsu is served with?

Food was great! Restaurant is about an hour away from our house, so we try to go when we are out that way and it never lets us down!

Great little place, the poke was fresh and amazing even that late at night on a Tuesday. Drove out of the city to get it and worth it. The Ramon, my son says was very good.
