We ordered takeout. The food was made fresh to order and delicious. They were courteous enough to keep their lights on for us 15mins past closing because we were running late to pick up. The restaurant and kitchen (which is in full view from the check out counter) were clean and spotless! The service was prompt and the cashier polite. Not sure why this place has a 3.9 rating when they deserve a full five star rating!!

DO NOT COME HERE. Maggots and gnats in my food. Proof is in the photo. I confronted the owner and she tried to make excuses. She claimed “this is what happens when you steam broccoli” um excuse me??

5 star for what it is. The food is solid Americanized Chinese takeout. All your standards and they're done consistently and well. Staff has been there for years and treat everyone graciously. We've been going every couple of weeks for years.

Very good food at a reasonable price. Not the worst place to eat in either. The people are very nice and the food is very consistent, also ready to eat very quickly. Menu is extremely varied, so there's bound to be something you can eat, even if Chinese takeaway isn't generally your cuppa. Very very good.

My parents turned me onto this place and this is the best Chinese food I’ve had in Richmond in my 43 years of life here. It’s consistently good, even the next day! Food always ready in a timely manner, employees are pleasant, place is clean, and prices are reasonable. Highly recommend.!

I have eaten here a handful of times now and have become a fan. Food is tasty and reasonably priced. I saw another review that mentioned the general Tso chicken being too sweet. While it’s true that’s it’s definitely on the sweeter side, it tasted great to me.

Not great. We ordered General Tao’s Chicken Fried Rice Hot and Sour Soup and Spring Rolls. The chicken was mushy and too sweet. No spice. The fried rice was terrible. It was pale yellow and just tasted like rice with some chicken broth or something and a couple little bits of carrots. The Hot and sour soup was gross. It had a thick layer of oil on the top of it. It tasted just like boullion. No seasoning detectable at all. It was not hot and not sour. Spring rolls were average like frozen ones deep fried.

Food is delicious and staff goes out of their way to treat you nice.

Went to the bathroom and gag. It wasn't clean. It was nasty and that made me think "did they wash their hands?" Won't be back. The food was bland as well ..

Good food. Flavors over time are inconsistent, maybe multiple chefs with their own styles, so some times better than others, but always good. Great egg rolls. Would like to see small soup also included in combos like some other places.

MSG added to frozen packages that they defrost and cook. I called and the cook could not tell me if these food items had MSG or not. Over time(a couple of years) I ordered take out from them 3times and each time I had a migraine after consuming. I have an intolerance to MSG evidently. They need to post on their menus and inform the employees whether they use MSG for the sake of their customers. It goes without saying that I will never frequent their place again.

Very pleased with our meals. Food smelled great and tasted great. Will definitely go back and it’s very convenient to where we live

The food was not as great we thought. The spiciness was not as expected. I liked the quantity of the food though. We will definitely tray again.

Chicken Wings w/ Chicken Fried Rice was okay. Shrimp Egg Foo Young was okay as well, the Gravy was not good.

The food was okay. The chicken dishes were way overdone. Couldn’t chew half some of the chicken, just too tough. The flavors and spices are hit or miss depending on the day. If you happen to be in the area, it’s okay. Would I recommend it? That’s a tough one. I’ve had better, but I have had worse!

Ordered chicken wings with pork fried rice the wings were so tough the meat on the bone was somewhat black in color the rice was tasteless the only reason I give them two stars is because the chicken and broccoli was somewhat decent and the egg roll as well will never return here so my review will not be updated on a second chance

worst asian restaurant in the area. paid over $16.00 for an order of general tso chicken brought it home and it wasn’t even the right order. called back to see if i could get a refund and owner was argumentative on the phone.

The family is kind and expedient. Their prices are reasonable and the food is delicious.

Just ordered lunch for the 1st time here today. And we are super happy. The place is small and simple and clean. The person who waited on me was extremely friendly. It was a large order and everything was was in the bags. All of our food is delicious. I'm glad to have found this location and we will happily keep picking up our Chinese take out from here.

This place is awesome! They have a very health steamed vegetable options and the quality is excellent and always fresh! I eat here at least once a week!

Always good food and great service

Always delicious! Tonight we had the Broccoli and Beef, and Shrimp fried in tempura with fresh vegetables. Everything is always great, and they are so nice there too! I love it!

You can't go wrong with Tops China. Their food is always good, their prices are good, and the portions are very generous as well. (Leftovers taste great especially egg rolls in the air fryer) My orders are always on time, and they're very friendly as well.

Some of the best beef and broccoli and the General Tso's shrimp were excellent

My favorite Chinese food in the area.. they offer hibachi dishes but we were not a fan but everything else has been delicious & my food is always ready fast!

Top's China was tops. Food was tender and tasty spring rolls are especially good I would recommend it.

Fast, tasty, bathroom could use attention. It was the lunch rush so that could've been the reason. Very efficient meal!
