Not your normal ice cream stop. Awesome sundaes and ice cream. Plus the puppy bowls were great to share with my four legged friend. Stayed at campground about 1/4 mile from here for 3 nights…had ice cream 2 of them. Highly recommend. Coffee Cookies and cream ice cream…brownie sundae.

Didn't know how to make a banana split. Animal crackers, only strawberry and pineapple flavor and didn't make the order to go as requested.

This is, hands down, the best ice cream…anywhere. We have literally planned portions of our vacation around UH’s business hours. We are in Portland instead of Bar Harbor this summer and we can’t find anything like it! Most ice cream is at least a little icy…not this. It’s thick and crazy creamy and, well, it’s utter heaven. The lines are long but it’s worth the wait! I wish they could ship our favorite flavors to NY!! YUM!!

We celebrated my husbands 70 th birthday with their delicious ice cream pies. Everyone absolutely loved the home made ice cream pies The owner stopped by to check on how we were enjoying them and the staff was a pleasure to work with. Theses days that does not frequently happen. First class service and high quality products. If you’re in the area be sure to stop by and I bet you find yourself going back every time you are able. It’s just that good. Thank you for helping make my husbands 70 birthday so special.

There are many icecream stores on the island. Udder Heaven is one of the only two worth repeat visits. I've had several of their scoops over the years, with notable flavors coming to mind including: Lemon Ginger Snap Strawberry Shortcake Kookie Monstah Rasberry Chocolate Chip The selling point here is a mastery of the icecream basics. You can have confidence that nearly anything you pick on the menu will have a great creamy consistency. It's worth noting that the serving sizes are also larger than anywhere else on the island. Their smallest scoop is the equivalent of a large at most other establishments.

When we pulled in here, the line was long. Good sign I think. Line moved very quick. Service was awesome. Ice cream was awesome with very generous portions. They even have Gluten Free options! This is the go to for Ice Cream!!

I have enjoyed ice creme across many States and Counties. Utter Heaven was absolutely the best and really big scoops at a great price. If you are anywhere near Bangor and love ice creme. Go out of your way for this ice creme. Awesome.

Pricey $$. $8 for a cone...just a regular waffle cone, no frills. It was good though.

Most delicious and creamy pistachio ice cream and strawberry cheesecake ice cream! Loads of other flavors to try. Even the sorbet is yummy. Try the blackberry sorbet.

Fantastic ice cream! Many flavor options and sundae options. Beware the portions are huge, 2 scoops is enough for 2 people to split. Only downsize is it was raining the night we went and there are not cover places to sit.

This ice cream has flavor! Tried shops in town and most were bland. Had the warm blueberry pie with vanilla and it was so good. Everyone else also loved their choices. Portions are huge.

We got the blueberry ice cream for ~$10. It was super sweet & definitely had a strong blueberry taste with actual whole frozen blueberries in it! The ice cream is SUPER gooey/stretchy, another reviewer said it was “gummy” which I’d also agree! Parking was scarce but customers move fast so you just gotta wait a little bit. There’s a big mini golf place across the street of this ice creamery and the vibes were pretty good! Would recommend if you like ooey gooey chewy ice cream.

Stopped here after grabbing lobster rolls across the street and it did not disappoint. The oreo coffee flavor was amazing!!

As someone who is known for being obsessed with ice cream, my husband and I weren’t impressed. Maybe that was just the flavors we got though (mocha chip and coffee). You can’t sample but that seems to be the norm here? Also the smallest size is HUGE, 1 scoop there is big!

I had tried this ice cream with pie at a lobster place nearby, so we decided to stop by. I got the regular blueberry ice cream in a waffle cone. The blueberry is a great flavor and love the freshness of it -although the consistency was way too gummy which made it less enjoyable. I got the regular saint size, but probably better to get the next size down if you’re not sharing as personally I could not finish it. I usually like waffle cones, but this one was not as fresh tasting. Service is friendly and there is seating around.

This is my new favorite icecream shop for the pure fact that they put tons of topping inside of their product. I have never had a cookies and cream ice cream with so much Oreo! It was phenomenal

Do not go if you have any allergies. Staff are untrained on allergen safety and do not have access to an ingredient list with actual ingredients. Update: When asked for an ingredient list, staff pulled out 2 binders but would not let me look at either to confirm what the list was or if allergens were listed. They stated multiple times that my allergen was not listed, so they were unable to confirm that it contained it, which makes zero sense. There was no manager or or comparable staff who could help the young staff trying to assist me. When I visited the website after the owners angry response I was again unable to access an ingredients list only a possible contamination list, which is not the same. If this ice cream place was as allergen friendly as they suggest the 3 staff who tried to help would not have been so confused. I hope in the future the managers provide the support and training their staff need rather then leaving them alone to struggle.

Okay if you just want something easy and cute. Good variety of flavors, but ice cream was underwhelming. Way too sweet, super melty and not very creamy. Waffle cone was disappointing.

Said “Open til 8:30 pm”. Arrived at 8:05 and they were closed. Disappointing!

I had a less than ideal experience there. I was in line behind a young lady and she had a concern about a food allergy. She asked the counter person about an ingredient. She got an answer, " I don't know and maybe". She then asked for the ingredient binder, and she got the same answer. So I highly doubt this is homemade as advertised since they have no idea what is in the product they are selling. Hopefully they are shut down before they injure someone with a severe allergy.

Delicious!!! Some locals at a lobster stand told me this is the best place for ice cream. They have TONS of flavors. We tried the pistachio, pumpkin chip, cookie butter, strawberry cheesecake, and cookies and cream. I think the pumpkin chip needed more pumpkin flavor, but it was all delicious. The pistachio was incredible with good pistachio flavor and a great number of pistachios. The cookie butter was like biscoff cookie crumbs and was absolutely divine!

This ice cream was delicious!!! I had the blueberry cheesecake, my wife had mint chocolate chip, and my daughter had black raspberry, and they were all great! We all liked the blueberry cheesecake ice cream the best. It had big chunks of blueberries and cheesecake. We will definitely return!

Wow! Wonderful ice cream! And that's the largest banana split we've ever seen. Hubby ate on it for 3 days. I chose a cup of ice cream, and it was huge too. Great place and lots of choices!

Sometimes, ice cream is just ice cream. This ice cream was goooood. I had the Maine Blueberry and it was one of the best ice creams I've ever had.

Some of the best ice cream I’ve had, and I’ve had a lot over the years. The Maine Blueberry has real blueberries in it and the black raspberry has great flavor. They have a huge selection of flavors and creative sundae options as well. Super fast and polite service with a smile to boot!

Long lines, no problem. These guys have it down. Ice cream options were endless and delicious. The servings were huge and the toppings were generous. The staff was super friendly and helpful. All you can ask for. 5 easy stars!

Anyone who isn’t giving this place 5 stars needs to reconsider their life choices. Will they ever be happy? SO GOOD. The blueberry cheesecake ice cream will change your life. A lot of people seem to be complaining about the line? Well in my experience a line is a good sign! Truly the best ice cream I’ve ever had.

Got the Whoopie Pie hand dipped and it was great, no complaints.

We are visiting and really enjoyed this place when we came 2 years ago so we came back. We have 8 people in our family and spent $55 on ice cream. When we received it, my one daughter’s cone was a total mess, mine had about 10 sprinkles on top when I ordered sprinkles on it, my other daughter’s cone was also a huge mess with barely any sprinkles. I asked for them to add more sprinkles to mine, and it turned out fine but when my daughter asked, the girl rolled her eyes at her and she turned around hastily to do it. My daughter has worked at a popular well run homemade ice cream store at the jersey shore and knows ice cream and customer service and has been there for 5 years through college and said if she ever rolled her eyes at a customer she would have been fired. She was upset and she had a mess of a cone that wasn’t scooped properly, that we needed to get cups for after, as did two of my other family members and we were left a bit upset feeling after how we were treated. Honestly it all would have been fine and we would have looked past the scooping issues if the one girl hadn’t rolled her eyes about the sprinkles that weren’t done properly and we had paid for. *****Edit ~ I changed my review to a four star after a personal response from the owner. I really appreciate you taking the time to respond and next time we are in town we will give your place another try. The ice cream was definitely good, and once again, thanks for your reply Bob.
