Wonderful family owned restaurant that provides great food and good service.

It finally happened! We have an incredible Asian style restaurant in Defuniak Springs. The food is the best in town compared to other options. They have delicious fried rice and great pho options. I have only been once so I will have to come back to try other options. Everything I have had so far has been incredible! The egg rolls were delicious and crisp with a perfect crunch. The Thai tea was also so good I had to order another. Staff was friendly and available! The fried rice was well cooked and really tasty! Edit: Still amazing! The sirloin cubed steak was great with peanut sauce. One of the best restaurants in town!

I came here for lunch today, and I really wanted a side of vegetables with my meal, even though that’s not something they regularly offer on the menu they went out of their way to not only make it for me, but look how beautifully they prepared the dish!! 100000/10 💕

I recently had the pleasure of dining at V Pho, and it was an absolute delight! From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with genuine hospitality and a cozy atmosphere. The menu boasted an impressive selection of authentic Vietnamese dishes, each crafted with care and bursting with flavor.I started with the fresh spring rolls, which were beautifully prepared and incredibly fresh. For my main course, I tried the Bun Thit Nuong, and it was outstanding. The grilled pork was perfectly cooked and paired wonderfully with the vermicelli noodles and fresh herbs.Not only was the food exceptional, but the service was also impeccable. The staff at V Pho were attentive, friendly, and ensured that every aspect of my dining experience was perfect.Overall, V Pho is a hidden gem in the Russian dining scene, offering delicious Vietnamese cuisine in a welcoming environment. Everything seems very fresh and authentic. The Pho is the best we've had in the panhandle so far. If it wasn't 30 minutes away, we'd be there more often for sure.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Went to eat by myself at 6:30 on a Friday night and sat for 20 minutes, by what I’m assuming is the owner because I’ve been here several times before with great service, but the normal waiter wasn’t in tonight. My only complaint before tonight was ordering a boba drink was an act of congress as it didn’t come out until after the food did. Both of what I’m still assuming are the owners proceeded to walk by me 4 more times and never spoke a word to me. 20 minutes without asking what I want to drink or any service at all. I had high hopes for this place but not after tonight.

The food is still really solid, and I love the main owners of this restaurant, but the service has been very lacking.. The red headed male waiter mumbles, is impossible to understand and seems unwilling to help in any way. When ordering they are out of everything or have some rule that it is too early to order that item. It’s very confusing. They have boba but evidently you can only order it as certain times. I hope they fix these things or hire more staff because I really like having a place nearby. The owner came out and spoke to us which I greatly appreciate

Wow the first night was just the worst got rushed out because thy wanted to go home early so I picked up my under asked if I should add my own condiments and thy said no we thro it In Ok I looked and premade my cup to find out the broth was cold and no condiments I timed the wait for when thy said to be here no sure y I’m the bad guy

I really liked my lunch here, and the menu looks amazing with lots of dishes I want to try. I had the honey dew tea with lychee boba, and it was delicious. I also had the spring rolls. They were ok. I felt there was too much lettuce to even enjoy the textures of the other ingredients, but the peanut sauce was delicious. I also had the shrimp and soft noodles dish. It had a nice flavor, but the shrimp were way overcooked and a little mealy/ dry, shrimp are currently really good and locally in season, but these were not fresh. The waiter was nice, but I felt like he may have been new. He put in a wrong order for me, and my entree was a bit delayed in coming to the table. It was not too much of a big deal this meal, but had I been with a big group, it would have been way off on the timing. Also, we found ourselves without drinks a time or 2. I will definitely be a repeat customer, though, as I feel that anything that I listed is easily fixable and everyone is new at one time or another. I would also highly recommend you try this place. I wasn't disappointed in the quality of service, food, or atmosphere. It is very clean and nicely decorated. A great addition to our little town.

Quality, portions, value and more. This family owned and run Vietnamese dinner is a gem. We ate there five times before I wrote this as a one time visit is not enough to confirm consistent performance. As a former sous chef of a four star restaurant, I know good food and this place deserves five stars plus. Each dish is made to order and no pre made anything. The staff is friendly and sincere to providing the very best dinning experience.

Great food with a great atmosphere.

My daughter and I came here on a whim one afternoon, it was a very chill atmosphere, great food and awesome prices! The service is one of the best we’ve had, considering there was only one server.. she was incredible, honest about what food best fit me.. I will definitely be coming back with my family🥰

My wife and I dined in for the first time today. The service was excellent and the food was incredible. My wife had a pho dish and I enjoyed a pork noodle bowl. The rice wrapped eggs rolls were amazing as well. The folks who work here really make you feel welcome. The inside dining area was much larger than we expected. Highly recommend.

Vegetarian pho is fresh and delicious, chargrilled chicken jasmine rice was delicious and the fish sauce it comes with is excellent. Nice decor, clean. Server was attentive and friendly.

Went in about 3 weeks ago and everything was perfect except someone did not put pho seasoning in the pho. the bone broth was very bland like water.. I will try again cause like i said everything else was perfect and i LOVE good PHO hoping for it to be just right the next time

I was finally able to visit V Pho Vietnamese Cuisine. I had spring rolls and crispy noodles with chicken & vegetables w/ a fish sauce. The spring rolls were freshly made & filled with shrimp. The crispy noodles were phenomenal… No other way to describe this dish! This was the first time that I’ve ever had Vietnamese cuisine...it certainly won’t be the last. Today was our first time trying this place. Honestly I’m super bummed that it ended with us being extremely sick. Which has never happened in the many years of enjoying Vietnamese food. We had a To-Go order which consisted of two Pho entrees, spring rolls, Thai tea, matcha milk tea, and a shrimp with rice entree everything except for the pho was relatively good. The shrimp was bland and had absolutely zero seasoning though. Now the Pho… was supposed to be the best part for us was very very very very oily. Now when I say very I mean it in the most extreme way possible. After a few bites I had oil moisturizer for my lips. I am not exaggerating when I say I left my pho alone to cool and it congealed very quickly. This is absolutely disgusting and actually made us pretty sick to the point of vomiting. I’m wondering if this was the bottom of the pot or what… but it’s just very disappointing because we have never had this happen before, which is why I wanted to share our experience. I’m sorry but I don’t think we will be back.

V Pho Vietnamese is a hidden gem 💎! Recently stayed in DeFuniak Springs at an RV campground for a week. Ended up eating at V Pho twice. A very pleasant surprise find for us. The restaurant has only been open a few months according to our server. The interior is bright and clean in appearance. The serving staff was very helpful, courteous, and prompt on both visits. Started with the crispy egg rolls. They appear handmade with a Mixture of savory pork, vegetables, and noodles in the wrapping. Very tasty! Many combinations of Pho are on the menu. On the first visit I asked if the Pho I was interested in (number P7) was similar to a “rare beef” which is my favorite. She assured me it was. Then had the kitchen put the beef on a separate plate so I could actually put it in myself. I thought that was awesome, kudos to the staff! On the second visit, I got the same thing because it was so delicious but requested double meat this time. This request was happily obliged. If you’re traveling through the area on I-10 it is definitely worth a detour if this is your type of cuisine.

I am so happy to have a place like this in DeFuniak Springs, where I can enjoy authentic Vietnamese cuisine and culture. I highly recommend V Pho to anyone who loves good food and service.

The restaurant was lovely. Very nicely decorated and clean. The service our water gave was very friendly and helpful and the food, delicious and good presentation. I look forward to trying something else on the menu!

A wonderful dining experience for a small town. The atmosphere, service, and food were outstanding. Since it was lunch I only had a bowl of beef broth than noodles in two egg rolls. Probably the best egg rolls I've ever had. I overate drinking the broth it was so good. I also try the honeydew milk tea with the boba balls. Extremely delightful and refreshing. They have a wonderful selection of food for all kinds of pallets. Think of Italian food sort of a Mexican food sort of. If you like spicy you will a very much enjoy this. However, if you don't like spicy most of the spice is added in. Let them know and don't worry they're still great food that is not spicy. On-street parking can be a little difficult but not too bad. At the time that this post their hours are shorter than normal, closing at 5. As waitstaff increases do increase the hours to 9 p.m.

VPho is our new favorite restaurant in the area. The Pho is TO DIE FOR 🙌🏼 and you can tell it’s authentic and always fresh.

Review on VPho. We were there on the 3rd day they were open and have high hopes for their success as they get into the swing of things. The food quality was good as well as the serving size (had enough for a 2nd meal). Started with the egg rolls. These are lighter on the cabbage filling some may be used to, but full of meat, and crispy. My husband had the Bun Bo Hue (spicy soup). It was very mild in spice, with tons of flavor and ingredients. He was able to increase the spice with the extras that were provided. I had the Bun Ga Nuong (chicken with noodles). I found it to be a great summer dish. This was a cool dish and came with a vinaigrette sauce on the side. The sauce made the dish. Staff was very friendly and admitted they were still learning and welcomed feedback. We will definitely go back. I gave them a 4 star as they were out of some dishes and the food took a bit longer to get but I am confident that they will work it out.

Vietnamese cooking is known for its French inspiration, but it’s mastery of broth. V Pho takes that to another level. The best way I can describe it is clean. The purity, the flavor, and the clarity is the best I have had in the states. The staff is amazing. It’s location in the downtown area makes it a perfect spot to eat, and then go for a walk afterwards. Even if you are not visiting in Defuniak Springs, it is well worth going out of your way for.

V Pho is OPEN for business! Food excellent! Sauces are so good! Fresh. Crispy. Artfully prepared. Our server was fabulous, no kidding, Ms. FABULOUS! Highly recommend!
