Do you really need people to tell you when a green light is on In the self checkout line? Why not hire some cashiers if you think that people can’t see a green light very frustrating to stand in line with open lines no cashiers filling about half of your registers.

Why is somebody buying $200 worth of groceries allowed to check out in the automotive department? . It should be a check for people who are buying automotive items. But I want to give a shout out to the customer service desk . They are very efficient. They check to make sure that you are the person who is supposed to get the refund. There's a lot of fraud going on right now. I appreciate them.

Only getting 1 star because i have to. Am i the only person noticing this place going to hell? This was the last time i will ever go to this particular location. First let me start this by saying im disabled and have a very hard time breathing and once i finally got from the vehicle to the entrance there were absolutely no carts so i had to go back to the parking lot to find one. (Of course there were none nearby and no workers around to help).Every time i go to this store the shelves are never stocked, the line to checkout is ridiculous, they never have a lane open with a person to check you out and its always dirty. Have you ever seen the restrooms in this place or tried to throw a tissue away on your way in the store?😵I wish i would've had my phone to take pictures of this nasty unorganized place and the one line open in the whole store to checkout went all the way from one entrance/exit to the other. (Must've been 60+ people). I will be doing all of my shopping elsewhere!!! Way to go Walmart

Never try to call. As many phones and departments walmart has, no one will ever pick up doesn't matter what time or what your concern is

Since they put the merchandise in the aisles and the carts with employees carrying out purchases for customers who order online, it is very uncomfortable for one to buy, that should be fixed.

For a Walmart, it’s not that bad! Lines can be long and you see some pretty “interesting” things. However, it’s in a decent area amd they keep the store pretty well kept.

It felt kind of crowded but they were restocking and had pallets of merch in the way. Interesting that they were doing that on a Friday afternoon/evening.

This is possibly the worst Walmart I have ever been in. The lack of professionalism and customer care that i experienced is disgraceful to the brand. Hopefully they will overhaul employees, if not I’ll drive the extra few mins to another location. I suggest you do the same!!!

If you're going to put employees in the deli can you at least make sure they speak freaking English, the language we speak in America, the lady's you got there are really nice but they can't speak a lick of English, I'd rather go to Winn-Dixie or Publix at least they got employees that speak English. There's plenty of other positions you guys can put them in, and it isn't just the deli.

Dont go to get a oil change unless you have 20 min till the guy decides to come to you.

Store has gone downhill since it opened. I rarely shop there anymore. Shelves not stocked, lines long, store isn’t clean. Also if you have students that are looking for work, do not send them to this location ! The “leads” and “coaches” make derogatory comments like “I hate hiring minors “, and “they alway have to take breaks because they’re a minor”. Co-workers discouraged from speaking to one another when they are working(yes they cannot speak to one another on the clock while they work ). They get nasty when students talk to them about their schedule to work around school. It’s sad when there’s high school and college kids who want to work to put themselves through school and have such a hard time. Yet when you look at the store and observe the management and staff and store conditions, they appear that need all the help they can get. They can’t keep managers or help. They have run many students out of this location, including my daughter and my niece. Tell your kids to look elsewhere for employment . It’s not worth the headache.

The price gouging was unbelievable and the managerial staff do have the slightest clue about managerial duties & service their hasn't been a csr in sporting goods for over a year the have all of the order numbers for all of their knives but they have not had a knife to sell according to the sporting goods CSR I spoke with two years ago the always seemed to have the expensive version and if they have a cheaper version they don't have it in store yesterday may 21st 2024 I purchase a $55.00 prepaid straight talk phone service card from electronics for $70.00because it's always been the cheapest one until last month when it was mysteriously $60.00 according to largemarge the manager barge im being charged extra because I'm the honest customer because of the locally well known fact that employees smuggling smaller items under large items also if you're getting food by weight defiantly bring your own correct scales I'm pretty sure Marge wanted to running close line me when I mentioned where ar any rollback prices she returned to her drydock trailer of a desk 💺I swear it whimpering with complaints of it incredibly long work dayand wheelchair rowed herself to the nearest ☎️, paiged with a voice of a poetic trucker bat nanny Sharreef the scurity dork who struts as if it actually spells sherrif on his name tag and

Just recently started going back to Walmart. Prices are better there when grocery shopping. Wish there was a neighborhood Walmart closer in Riverview off Boyette or Fishawk. I do have one negative comment. I am really getting tired of when needing help to find something, I ask a walmart employee where something is, and I get an answer " I don't speak English". This is America, learn English, I will do the same if I visit the country you came from.

Cashiers are friendly... lot of Management standing around! They could be on the registers and get the lines of customers out of the store. Bathrooms were just like photos show. Shaking my head, simply because it says a lot about the female employees that work there!

I'm very disappointed in this walmart use to be very nice to shop in. Now is an unpleasant event when I go. I started shopping elsewhere due to this. Bad service, limited stock. Not good for me. I will rather drive extra miles to further locations for walmart.

Good morning, please check the specials they give at the Walmart in Gibsonton, they are not true, today April 21, 2024 I bought several medicines to give to a person who is sick and when I went to pay said another price, the person they had Taking care of the ATMs, she tells me that she can't do anything because she had to pay it at that price. I told her that I had the photo so she could see that I was saying the right thing and she went to Russia to see it. I told her to call. Manayer to help me and it was worse, Manayer, an uneducated person, did not treat me very badly because I did not want to go to where the medicine department was because it was a little far away within Walmart itself, in short he went and rectified and saw that I was right about what I was saying and with tremendous bad treatment and fighting he gave me the discount that the medicines said and then he acknowledged that it was a bad job on their part there, please take the time to review the prices that are not truth and then listen to the bad way of treating clients and the workers without experience of how to serve their public and their clients, greetings, excellent day to all

Normally I would give them five stats, but not now. I am a walmart plus member. The membership helps me a lot to get in and out quickly when I need to. Well the other day I was in a huge hurry. I needed to make a desert I make that all my friends love and beg me to make for them. It was for after a funeral that same day. So needless to say I was in a hurry. I paid for my items, and was trying to walk out the door when I was stopped by a receipt checker. I tried to show her my receipt, but I usually choose to have my receipt texted to me and I had not received it yet. Normally this is not a problem. I didn't have very many items and they were all bagged so I explained to the woman that the receipt had not come yet told her I was in a hurry, and proceeded to walk out. That is when she grabbed me by my arm and told me that I was not allowed to leave until she saw my receipt. I pulled my am out of her grasp, and told her I am don't have to show her anything and that I was leaving. She immediately started yelling for security, and I walked out. Thankfully I saw a manager that I had dealt with previously right outside the door. So I went up to him and explained exactly what had just happened. He told me that no one HAS to show their receipt. Most people do show it and that is appreciated, but no one HAS to show it to anyone. He said that all employees are aware of that. Than he said that the woman had no right to put her hands on me at all for any reason. He assured me that he was going to immediately take care of the situation. I thanked him and I left.

Great, I just wish they were open 24 hours again...

I will not be returning to this store ( Gibsonton Dr) for anything. I ignored the sub par customer service yesterday. Today. I had an appointment to install 3 new tires at 2pm. It's 5 pm. Mary, who is great by the way, told me 1.5 hrs. I figured 2 hours. It's walmart after all. 👀 They JUST started the install! 🤨Although the car has been sitting back there for near 3 hours! How did no one not notice a car sitting in what I assume would be coveted slots for all that time! I had to go back there to enquire. The mechanic that just came on, and was given other keys to work on, checked to see what I needed. We noticed no new tires. He had to go investigate, and offered to do my car right away. Praying it's not a rushed job that puts my safety in jeopardy! Whoever brought it back opted to not do the work because it was close to his clock out time. ( possibly). But COMMUNICATE! Breakdown at the front desk? How do they "work" the list of pending services? This is beyond ridiculous. If I didn't get up to go investigate, I'd be sitting here still waiting for services not being performed. Will stick to the Brandon location from now on🙄

No room in aisles too cluttered

Things are unorganized, staff is usually unwanting to help or doesn't have skill level to address something so I have to figure things out myself. Check outs and self serve are always backed up. They carry just about all you need, establishment is in good shape overall. I dislike coming here, because I spend more time at checkout then shopping. Others people's skill levels (customers) are poor on average so if you expect them to help themselves then you make it worse for the next shopper, who ready to go. I only come here when I NEED to. I just dislike wasting my time. I usually shop online and have home delivery because I want to avoid time loss.

Walmart just isn’t what it used to be

Large super center, not enough check outs open. Pushing for people to use the self service checkouts.

Layout was different than what I am used to (from different part of Florida) still was able to find most of what I was looking for.

This store is very convinient you find all you need, from shoe laces to olive oils.

They try to keep the place clean and stocked. However, I don't shop here past dark, I've seen too many folks hanging around after dark that aren't there during day light.

Note : Money services closed at 8pm. Otherwise, everyone knows Walmart has the best prices.

Had everything I needed!!! Pleasant employees!!!

I will be thinking twice before shopping at Walmart and when I do I will be watching like a hawk. You shouldn't have to take a photo of the price to make sure it doesn't ring up two dollars more like it did today. Luckily the price was on a sticker. And you should be able to buy a pkg of hamburger buns without taking them home for your hamburger you planned to eat that afternoon to find they are molded. Customer Service Grade: FAIL

Store was clean, shopping carts were a slight nightmare, wheels were messed up and carts were hard to get apart.

The parking lot itself reached it's end of life about 5 years ago, rough, pitted. On the the store itself, the grocery section should be called the land of the empty shelves. Only Publix's high prices causes me to go there.

There were barely any cashiers available. Nobody was available for assistance. That being said, the place was clean and organized.

Used to love Wal-Mart. Busy most of time but usually stocked shelves and getting thru checkout line not bad. Not much help on the floor anymore and when you do find someone they don't seem to have time to help. Customer service has really went downhill.

I feel like I find what I'm looking for most of the time.

I am totally upset I just picked up two just eggs name brand cartons and they had the date of December 30, 2023 what's going on with this Walmart I want my money back ASAP 😡

It is always good but prices need to come down. Example great value canned mushrooms were $1.08. They are $2.58. Regular brand is $1.88. So they are scalping. Same on many other items

There are ALOT of horror stories out there in many "food handling" areas, and yet another one for Walmart. 5 Roma type tomatoes fell out of the large bin onto the "floor" Sat 2-10 around 4:30 pm and woman employee picked them up and threw them BACK into the bin! I immediately told her supervisor standing by talking w deli employee and he went to that woman. I was pulled around to get my deli order but wished I had seen that woman's expression at being addressed by her spanish suprv.! She should have been fired on the spot or at least escorted away by the man!! Employees just don't care nor "think" not only what they do in their job, but that others/esp. customers SEE their antics! Again, alot of other unknown-to-the-public horrors!

My son party was ruined due to the fact of Walmart never made my son cake never called never help when I came in to get my son cake no one to help me not even a manager was available very disappointed

I really like Walmart, there is always what I need and the treatment of their employees, and I spend time looking at many products, I am fascinated by Walmart.

I will never be caught dead in Walmart ever again. It's not a Walmart problem it's a people problem as long as they keep getting their money, nothing will change. We need to boycott Walmart force change. Be the change we wish to see. This Walmart has a rating of 3.7 yet have corporate done anything to improve. No. I spent an hour shopping to find out Walmart is one of the only stores in the country that doesn't take tap pay. My vending machine at work and the rinky dink gas station behind my house take tap. Then I tryed to set up Walmart pay. The app would not function properly it took 20 mins just to get the robot for the call center to put me on hold to talk to a person. Then the call center hung up on me after again putting me on hold. This is a people problem stop shopping at Walmart. Zero customer service terrible electronic systems. Genuine complete trash as a whole and yet we still spend money there. Please stop.

When will Walmart stop doing this? Lines are ridiculous. Every single shopping cart randomly sitting in the parking lot or over stuffed in the receptacle. It's a $450B business that has the worst reputation.

It's just a great place to shop with great service. I come for the Acton figures, they have a great selection.

I really liked this supercenter. Their products are very varied.

Horrible customer service and long lines. After using self checkout on a busy Saturday, I did not receive my money from the self checkout. Took two days to reach anyone by phone. I spoke to Crystal, she spoke to someone who checked the cameras and the customer behind me took my money. I was told to pursue the matter with law enforcement on my own. Extremely disappointed that this was the resolution.

Everything was out of place and thrown around even in the freezer section, went to buy pokemon cards and a pizza and almost all the packages for cards were ripped open and stolen as if someone sat there for minutes stealing and no one cared.

There is a young girl that works here. Very blue eyes, forgive me if I get her name wrong, I believe it is Edissa? She was wonderful to me. So helpful and kind. She was so patient with me, I didn’t even know what I was looking for but she helped me find the perfect thing! I truly appreciate the help after having surgery. Walmart is so blessed to have her.
