I usually like this Wawa alot! However tonight I ordered a chicken sandwich & waited 20 min to get it! I paid for it, yet when it was ready they said I didn't! Lady was VERY RUDE! Food was not even hot! Cheese didn't even melt!! Tell me why I gave this place another try?! Pitiful "food" ! They left off half the items I wanted & chicken is run temperature! Chewy like it's old or fake?!

Bought a large diet Coke and it was 2.56 which is absurd. I normally got to circle k and an Xtra large diet Coke is 1.29 and now they are on sale for. 79. Won't be back and I'll buy my gas elsewhere too!

I've been to Wawa quite a few times it's always a pleasant experience for the most part it's always clean plenty of choices always stocked up so far most of the employees are always nice and very knowledgeable my only complaint is one time I was getting a shake and it wasn't a shake it was chocolate water way too much ice so I don't know maybe change them a little better on the shakes and your prices are a little high not enough perks for the poor man however you got 7-Eleven Marathon Sunoco etc beat hands down well the Bartow Road Lakeland store # 5253 on 04/18/24

Went in this WaWa to grab a drink & some gas.Handed the cashier guy 33.00 and told him to put the rest on my pump after taking out for the drink.Well I start pumping my gas and it cuts off at 20 dollars and some change.It dnt take a rocket scientist to know that a fountain drink is not 13.00.I go back inside to tell the cashier that he didn’t give me all my gas.Well he proceeds to tell me that I only gas him 23.00.I then told him to call the manager cause his drawer needs to be counted so I can get the rest of my gas.I guess they thought I was lying.Manager comes and says he’s going to run the camera back.Next the manager comes back out the room and puts the rest of my gas on my pump.I shouldn’t have to go through all this mess to get gas I paid for.How about hiring people who can actually count!

I ordered a drink and payed for it immediately.. came to the wait line... Saw a made drink on the back counter.. wandered if it was mine!? There were 3 ladies in the back. Laughing and chatting. I waited and waited... Finally the youngest looking one came out. Placed a sticker on the drink (my drink) and called it out. No apologies. Nothing. My wait time was unnecessary. They need to pay more attention. And no I was not the only one waiting.

When you order your food hardly anyone in the store takes over ten minutes then you have to bag your own food. Come on Wawa even McDonald's puts your food in a bag for you. You have people's food in bags that order online but customers that come in you force to bag their own food. I couldn't even find the bags at first. So wait over ten minutes while store isn't busy then hunt for a bag. Need to be trained in customer service. I've worked in customer service and you don't treat some customers one way that order online and others that have taken the time to come into your establishment differently. Awful disgraceful!!

I guess the machine that you order your food on printed out the wrong number for me bit I didn't know until I was waiting this whole time and decided to go look at the meal that was sitting there I just ordered fries spicy chicken sandwich and a milkshake. Well the order that was there was my order but wasn't the same number. So I asked this rude woman with a short cut and had on a hat that the order of that ticket is my orderi show her the receipt and the ticket number she started talking to me as if I was a kid and stupid she tells me look this is a milkshake ticket you have I told her when I scanned it it scanned my whole order and also the milkshake had the same number the food had so it didn't make sense she argued me down that I made the mistake and rudely say take your food all I said was the ticket number was wrong she said you had to have to tickets.. I am a grown man if I did we wouldn't be having this conversation and also why this number I have in my hand haven't been called its a number before the number on the food . She laughs at me and say take your food . And I'm like wow it had to be racism involved because I didn't deserve that type of treatment that simply could have been a oh the machine must be acting up and sorry you had to wait. Because it wasn't her fault or mine. But never again will I go there now I don't trust the food I brought.

The old lady behind the counter with white hair and glasses got our order entirely wrong. No toppings were placed on the sandwiches even though we asked for about 5 and no condiments were put on either. She was also a bit rude to us when handing out our order.

inside is fine. Gas pump recently removed the ability to mute the loud ads. Ads no longer play above head, but from tinny speakers blaring right next to the only place you can stand while fueling, and if someone's pumping next to you, you hear them both, out of sync. I expect this from companies going underwater, and was hoping for a break from this new trend. Nope. It's as if you being there spending money, and being a huge corporation isn't enough for them. Autistic ppl like me are kinda screwed, and it's rude and greedy anyway. Sound isolation isn't exactly comfortable or safe in a parking lot, so they give you no choice.

It’s Ashley in the deli for me!!!!!! She cut my bagel in half!! Do you know how hard it is to eat a toasted bagel with braces? It’s always piping hot!!! Freshest veggies!! She has DEFINITELY set a bar that the others have yet to meet 🥴 sorry.

Got home and opened up my sandwhich and the bread is covered in mold.

Favorite gas station to buy almost anything.

This store has such a bad smell. It smells like someone mopped the entire floor with a filthy mop. The smell made me physically ill while grabbing my drink & other items.

Very friendly always can count on fresh food fresh drinks nothing melted.

Best gas station in town! Prices are the lowest compared to all competitors. The employees are fantastic and great with customers. You can order any type of sandwich, breakfast item, specialty coffee, even sandwiches and burgers. My kids love the selection and I love the cheap prices! Highly recommend this store to anyone

I went here late night at about 3:30 when my bf got off work. They have a lot of yummy food to choose from and drink options. I got the hot honey pulled pork panini and it was delicious and looked nice too. I also got the pineapple mango smoothie and it was the best I've had. My bf enjoyed his Oreo milkshake as well. I would recommend coming here for food over any other fast food place. Great quality and not too expensive. Employees were friendly too.

Great food and service. I left my phone sometimes the store, called back. An employee named Rachel looked and checked lost and found. It was not in lost And found. I asked if she had someone that could check at pumps. She went out and checked around pumps. She was great and willing to go above and beyond too. Heck for me. THANKS RACHEL and WaWa! Cheryll

Eeehhh service was good. Food was not so much. I ordered a couple breakfast burritos and they just put them in a bag no wrapper or nothing and the bags both stuck to the burritos. Seems a bit cheap if u ask me. I know food trucks that serve their food better than this. Way better.

Nice ladies making sandwiches. But that meat they have to make sandwiches must be lower grade than dollar store lunch meat. I’ve never felt so sick after eating that sandwich. Never again.

Hoagies aren’t bad, good customer service. I’ve always loved Wawa, and i’m glad there’s one close to me.

Don't bother with their air machine... the hose is haphazardly wrapped in electrical tape to "cover" several holes rendering the whole thing useless.

I understand working the 3rd shift and being as busy as yall are sometimes can be a struggle but waiting upwards of 45 minutes and not getting everything that was ordered for an online order is just so ridiculous

Used to be the best WAWA. Coffee runs out too much now, coffee station always dirty, and the food servers skimp on the food or don't follow the order VERY unapologetically. Get it together, seriously!

Just got gas...price was a little cheaper than others around there....

I stopped by to get gas, and pick up lunch for my wife, and I. I Got a cold sub for my wife, and ordered a double meat hoagie ( italian sub, and added turkey, lettuce tomato, a little oil, and vinegar, and mayo.). I got home, and noticed that my sub weighed less than my wife's. Opened it up, and had a dry sub, with turkey, lettuce, and tomato.. The store itself was not busy. Only 2 other people waiting for food. But, basically, I spent extra money, for a lesser sandwich.. Kind of a let down.

No Wawa is the same unless it's in the Tri City. Pa, NJ and De. Subs suck at all locations besides HOME! it's a art (sandwich making) that obviously only we possess. I have been to Wawa all up and down the coast.

I love my Lakeland Wawa. I went to Tampa Wawa on Hillsborough Ave And swore i would catch crabs from the bathroom.our Lakeland location on 98south is always clean.the employees are always pleasant.its always well stocked.except for 20oz Mello Yello please order more lol

The food is really good if you don't know where to go. Gas is one of the lowest around.

I usually have the cheapest gas and I dig that you can get tens from the ATM inside and ATM doesn't charge. Smoothies are pretty awesome also here.

I've come in here several times, gotten sick from their food multiple times, and a few times bought sizzlies here, they were falsely labeled. I always get bacon, or ham sizzlies, and they had a sizzlie with sausage on it on a bagel in a box for ham and egg croissant. My partner has also gotten sick from here a few times from their sandwiches, and they've run out of ingredients and never mention that on their screen or alert anyone. I stopped coming here mainly cause their food at this location hurts my stomach and I need more Pepto than should be needed.

Best WAWA, most wawa are good, I love their breakfast burritos as potato patty, sooo good with their Fancy Hot Sauce packets

I love wawa going there for more then just buying gas for the car I love there freshly made sweet filled pretzel they make on site in wawa also if you become a loyal member and download the app you too can get free stuff from wawa

We get gas here for our vehicles, usually cheaper than Wawa on 98N.

I love Wawa anyways, but the folks at this store were friendly. The store was very clean and I found what I needed in the store.

Every morning we passing to take food items for breakfast, really fast ordering on the screens and very simple and easy to checkout too, very crowded at the mornings. Expect some delays at checkout registers.

I placed an order online and when I went to retrieve my order the lady said "we were busy eventually we'd run out of food". Customer service sucks & I hope they improve it.

This is the worst Wawa!! I am not basing this review on one visit, every single time I come to this store the staff is lazy, slow and focus on the wrong thing including socializing instead of working on the orders coming in.. if it wasn’t the closest Wawa to my house i would completely avoid it!! And even at this point it is my absolute last resort!

I just had the worst experience at the Wawa on south 98. I ordered a drink and they did not have it and I did it by mobile order. They treated me like I did not do it and it was awful. It was the person behind the counter that makes the drinks and the person behind the counter where you check out. It was awful. It was between 2 pm and 2:30 pm on October 31. At the 3105 Hwy 98 Lakeland Fl Wawa. No one plays around with me. I showed the order on my phone. Those people working that day need to be fired.

Great place. Lots of traffic in the gas station but overall it's clean and they're quick at the registers.

If you can make it... that gas lights blinking but push the car past Citgo if you must. Everything is fresh and clean at Wawa and their food and prices aren't so bad.

It's in a nice location. the parking lots made a little messed up. kind of like a Walmart parking lot
