I loved my first visit, fast and efficient service, the fried cow and the hot tail at another level, I was already excited for the next one and I also congratulate Erika for her kind attention, God bless you.

Well, I still can't say what the food is like, because thanks to the bad service we couldn't eat. I explained that we arrived 16 minutes before closing time on a Sunday, which I suggest they should change, the saleswoman already had us seated but in the kitchen they said that everything was already turned off. I suggest to the owner on Sundays not to lose sight of his employees. Maybe another day when I return to Lakaland I will visit him if they welcome me

Excellent Cuban food here you eat a midnight, Cuban, all kinds of delicious coffee and coconut mojitos; lemon, mango and much more and the flavor of their meals is the best in all of Florida. I have been visiting it for 8 years. Their 100% excellent staff come by and try their delicious Cuban food with its true Caribbean flavor.

I recommend the golden bleu chicken, exquisite 👌

First of all I want to make sure everyone who reads this review knows that I am a Cuban American and know what real Cuban food should taste like. Absolutely nothing in this restaurant tastes like real Cuban food. The prices are blown up out of proportion specially if you look at the very unfriendly service. I hope they learn how to marinate the meat before they cook it as it's supposed to be done in real Cuban cuisine and put sofrito in the black beans. When you go inside a Latin restaurant and you don't smell food from the kitchen that right there says it all. Good luck and do not reply to this review with your generic response.

This restaurant has great authentic Cuban food a good prices. The atmosphere is nice and the staff is helpful. You get a lot of food! Be sure to try the mojo sauce.

Loved our dinner! Food was delishes!

The service was slow. For $25 churrasco you would think it would taste better. My tostones was soft no crunch no salt no garlic sauce for them. I order a salad and my waitress didn’t bring me the oil and vinegar I had to ask the person sitting next to me for theirs. The bread they bring in the beginning of the meal was not even toasted.

First time visiting this place and the food was delicious, the attention from Eliane was very professional and super pleasant, excellent in general, the wonderful atmosphere, I recommend this place without hesitation, EXCELLENT.

The "authentic" Cuban sandwich I ordered was not even made with Cuban Bread. Please don't call something authentic if it's not. Very disappointed.

When we arrived, the bartender told us to sit wherever we'd like. We went towards the back where they have high tops, but he stopped us and said that those tables weren't big enough for our group of 4. So we went to another part of the restaurant where there were 2 groups of 4, and he told us we couldn't sit there because it's for bigger groups. So our choice was to sit next to a screaming toddler. The waiter was not very attentive, and there were several instances where my father in law had to get up and walk to the bar to get items we needed.

The food is ok but so expensive compared to other restaurants that if the quality was better, maybe. But you can probably find the same quality of food for less. Also, if you use a credit card, they charge a fee. The waiter is pretty cool.

We sat at the bar and were waited on by Eric. Son of the owner. Family owned, incredible authentic food and great prices!!! Drinks were so good, too. As good as Nineteen61 without the high prices. Highly recommend!!! Please visit this woman owned minority owned lovely little restaurant- you won’t be disappointed. 😄

My favorite Cuban place, the BEST Mojitos in town!!

Very chill spot and OMG, their cuban coffee is beyond incredible. I come here all the time, and it's authentic Cuban for sure.

I'm jamaican and I absolutely love their food, it's so freaking delicious 🤤. The restaurant is clean , the staff even tho there's a language barrier are super nice. They have a bar there that sometimes when I need a break from life I'll just drink ,eat good and enjoy the Hispanic Music 💃🏽 I truly recommend this place to EVERYBODY. guys please try this place out , you won't be disappointed 👌🏽

The food was ok I have had a better cuban sandwich. My friend had a chicken sandwich and it was a small piece of meat and mostly bread.

The food is soo good and the servers are super nice! The decorations are really cool!

Stood in front of three servers/hostesses and the cash register with my card in had for approximately 20 min. No one asked to take my order yet looked me dead in the face. 2hispanic men walked in and were greeted spot on. Will NEVER come back and will post about the horrible experience

My in-laws are from Miami and vouch for this restaurant and when it comes to food I put all my faith in their opinion. I believe this place has some great dishes and clearly some that are less desirable. I had the Croqueta Preparada which is basically the same meat a Cuban sandwich would have PLUS your choice of chicken or ham croquetas on top of the meat. There wasn’t nearly enough meat on this sandwich and for what ever reason mine came with american cheese on it instead of swiss. It was 70% bread even with the added lettuce and red onion I requested. I went with several family members that said they enjoyed their hot meals. Oxtail and palomilla looked great but I didn’t try them. Just steer clear of the croquette sandwich!!

Food tastes good, not exceptional server, not attentive. Margaret worst ever more ice than beverage, missing traditional ingredients.

My family and I ate here tonight. I drove by a few times and didn't get that it wasn't a fusion restaurant (because I'm bad at geography 🫣😂) So once I thought to check the menu out, we had to check it out. The service was great, our waitress was very friendly and attentive. My oldest really wanted sopa de pollo, so that's why we went tonight and it got 5 stars from her. It's a good portion for an adult, or for a kid to bring some home. My toddler was happy to be able to order a cheeseburger from the kids menu, it was a good sized burger even for an older child (she ate her fries and brought the burger home) My husband got "almuerzo del cubano" it was good and fun to see on a menu (rice and fried eggs was a go-to meal for me as a picky kid) it came with platanos, but neither of us noticed the meal didnt include beans and kinda wished it did (we could have ordered them ala carte) my steak sandwich was good. I know costs on everything are going up but I do feel like the prices/vs portion sizes on the entrees specifically is a little high. I don't want that to make my entire review sound like a complaint because we will be back (I don't like making soup 😂), and everything was lovely, just a smidge pricier than anticipated

This place is conveniently located easy to fin. The food has that delicious Caribbean flavor. The service was so nice Eliani was so nice!

So happy to have found this Cuban restaurant in Lakeland! I had the vaca frita and highly recommend. Also the ham croquetas were legit, I'm very picky about those. They offer free buttered Cuban toast.

1st time & everything was delicious &filling! Beautiful presentation! Chicken leg quarter was absolutely fried delicious, mashed potatoes were extremely yummy with little lumps which I love. Margarita was big size about$12.50 a glass though with a extra shot sitting inside the glass which was cool. Fast service too!

Place has a good atmosphere, service was ok, the food was good, very authentic. But they added a 20% gratuity to the check, 3 adults and one 10 year old child did not leave a mess. Not cool!!!

The waitresses were weird The gentleman that works there looked like he was high on cocaine. The way he looked the waitresses needed to do a better job, besides just standing there by the register, looking at the register.

We have consistently found the food and service to be wonderful. The staff are a joy and very personable. The food delicious and tastes like grandma cooked it for us in the kitchen.

I ordered from here through Uber Eats and this place is overpriced considering the quality and quantity of the food provided. The portions provided were ridiculously small, the snapper was not great and the two sides that came with it were so small and not well made. 4 BURNT maduros and a sad, half filled cup of mashed potatoes. Save your money and order somewhere else.

I've been here a few times never disappointed until tonight.ordered carne asada the pork was so overdone and dry i thought it was mistakenly puerco frito. Really the best part was the sautéed onions and even some of them were burned. Yucca bland. Sorry but i was really disappointed.

Won’t recommend. Don’t eat here. Att manager: Food took 55 mint to come out. We order 2 Cubans a chicken Sandwich ,tostones with chicken. Chicken tenders with fries. The fries and the tostones was extremely hard. We had to leave the food on the take pay and leave with a bad taste.

I would highly recommend trying this place out! Prices are great and the atmosphere was wonderful! I had the Ropa Vieja and my husband had the Lechon Asada. They were both $16.99 and came with your choice of 2 sides. The flavor was top notch. Service was wonderful and we didn’t have to wait long for drinks or our orders. Neither one of could finish our meals. Just a side note but the hot sauce is absolute fire and made at the restaurant.

I was a little disappointed. I had the shrimp empanadas and was not impressed. I think they were overwhelmed with our large party of 10 but they did okay after a bit back and forward. The neighborhood is not the best and the restaurant is clean but not very atmospheric. I think this restaurant is fine for lunch but I don’t think I’ll go back for dinner.

I love Cuban food and what they have done with the place. The remodel tells a story of Cuban heritage mixed with a lively atmosphere. The beverage options weren’t all an option while on my 1 hour lunch break but they looked lovely for another night out with a lady friend. The music was poppin.
