What can I even say… the stars aligned on our trip to give us the perfect weather, coupled with amazing service, friendly faces and some of the best wines I’ve had in the world! The Pinot Noir is really as good as they say it is, the Brut is delicious, and the Riesling… well, I bought a few bottles for later. We lounged for over 4 hours learning about the grapes, sitting on the patio, staring at the beautiful landscape, and eating perfectly paired cheeses with our flight wines. We will absolutely be back to stay in the Airstreams and probably become club members so I can have this majestic wine delivered to my doorstep in Texas!

I had the pleasure of being served by Kristen and Ashley at Willamette Valley Vineyards, and I can't speak highly enough of their excellent service. From the moment I arrived, they made me feel warmly welcomed and right at home. Both were incredibly attentive, ensuring that every detail of my dining experience was perfect. Their kindness and great sense of humor added an extra layer of enjoyment to the meal. They were not only accommodating to all my requests but also highly knowledgeable about the menu, offering insightful recommendations. I highly recommend this restaurant, especially the exceptional service provided by Kristen and Ashley. I will definitely be returning!

I had dinner and a wine tasting, and I ordered a glass of Pino Blanc, which I had never heard of until my tasting. I had the vegetarian entree; It was good. It’s a fancy winery. They bring the wine to you slowly throughout your dinner so order a glass if you want to have wine to drink while you eat. They have a nice balcony overlooking the vineyard to have wine after dinner.

I cannot believe my entire life I wanted to come have wine and dinner at this place.. As a child, when I would pretended to be classy with my grandmas wine glasses and think of coming here. I made dinner plans for my 24th birthday and I brought my family here. They gave us the worst service before we could even get our food. When we were told we couldn’t have our wine until dinner was served, I went up to the bar and asked what the issue was. There was no clear answer as to why we didn’t receive our wine before dinner.. Just wanted to celebrate my birthday. Never want to come back. The response below by Willamette Valley Vineyards is a complete misjudgment comment. No one in the group was intoxicated. Thank you very much though!

Went here with my girlfriend’s family and friends. Small group of 8 and we had a judgmental waitress. Birthday girl was not intoxicated in a rude way or anything, waitress makes a judgement to not even give a poor to the 2 people there to drink wine. Very unprofessional and no communication from the waiter. Don’t get the waiter or waitress, whatever it’s called. They didn’t clarify why they were uncomfortable to serve. Power trips from the other staff as well that wouldn’t give an answer. Seeing this winery my whole life looked like it was gonna be fun place to relax and hang, boy was I wrong!

INSANE!!! I just had the most incredible afternoon at Willamette Valley Vineyards estate in Turner, Oregon. They do an experience called the Chef's Counter and what they serve is absolutely amazing! It’s a four course price fix meal which changes seasonally with some of the most creative and incredible wine pairings I have ever gad. Winery chef Jarred Henry and my most lovely wine ambassador Natalie O’Brien personally take care of each guest at the counter. For example, who would pair a watermelon/heirloom tomato salad with a Brut Rosé? It was to die for! Not to mention their scallops (which are incredible any day of the week) but served on a bed of lentils (and the amazing tomatoes) could be so tasty with a 2021 Bernau Estate Pinot Noir. The standard dessert is an olive oil basil cake but for a gluten free guest they substituted a lovely sweetbread paired with an amazing 2013 late harvest Gewurtzraminer! The best chef, best wine ambassador and the best 2.5 hour gastronomic experience ever! Cheers and thank you to Willamette Valley Vineyards Estate for yet another memorable afternoon

The 2nd night we ordered the same exact dinners because it was so amazing. Mischa was training Avery and they made a great team. UPDATED REVIEW: An overpriced Applebees. As a loyal patron and investor owner of Willamette Valley Vineyards for years, I have always appreciated the quality of the wines and the warm atmosphere. However, I have noticed a decline in service, food quality, and overall experience over the last few years that I feel needs to be addressed. The upstairs area, which used to be a full-service delight, now requires patrons to place orders downstairs and carry their wine upstairs themselves, only to wait for the food to be brought up. This new setup is quite inconvenient, especially given the lack of serving staff upstairs to take orders and tend to guest needs. Moreover, the upstairs area is uncomfortably hot, making it difficult to enjoy the experience, and it is disheartening to see that no improvements have been made in this regard. One of the most concerning changes is the significant increase in prices. The charcuterie board with meat is now a staggering $46, which seems excessive. The food quality has also worsened and been their latest consistency; all four of our medium burgers were overcooked and served well done, and the macaroni and cheese was completely flavorless, tasting like wet milky noodles with no cheese flavor at all. Additionally, they used to offer multiple wine tastings, but now it's just one selection, which limits the experience for wine enthusiasts. Guests only have five glasses of wine to choose from, which is from the tastings option. How absurdly cheap and boring. Furthermore, on my last three visits, they were out of my first dining choices, the most recent being pizza. This consistency in running out of popular items is disappointing. When ordering downstairs, there was no offer of a carafe for our tasting. Expecting my elderly guests to walk downstairs for each tasting was unreasonable. When I requested a carafe, the staff initially claimed they didn't have any, but after some insistence, they managed to find one. This lack of proactiveness is concerning. The service staff often appears frantic and understaffed, affecting the quality of service. Additionally, the presence of flies everywhere is a significant issue that detracts from the dining experience. I hope that my feedback can help improve the service, food quality, and overall experience at Willamette Valley Vineyards. I remain a dedicated supporter and look forward to seeing these issues addressed. ORIGINAL REVIEW: You can get many of their same exact bottles for significantly cheaper at Winco, Costco, and Safeway. It's absurd that even the discounted "Owner's price" is still staggeringly more than just going to your local grocer. Also, in the last 6+ months I've visited, they only offer one complimentary flight to choose from for Members and Owners (you used to be able to choose from two). Huge disappointment.

Canceling our membership due to consistently terrible service. We are no longer bringing friends here as they all get annoyed and frustrated. Yes, the wines are good, and the food is great. Despite being members, if all we want to do is taste, we can't get service. If we have a group of 8 people, we can't get service. There's a food order mistake every time. Of the few existing servers, many are rude and don't listen. Today's steak arrived rare: asked 3 times for medium, and it then came out as a hockey puck (server just ignored us and walked away.) Stingy tasting pours, and god forbid you want an extra taste of something. No other winery we've ever visited anywhere is like this. We're done.

Usually a treat to have a glass of wine and a meal here but not this time. We ordered 3 pizzas and salad, waited 40 minutes and finally they arrived as “take out” style even though we were sitting at a table. They were quite undercooked, few toppings and barely edible, certainly not worth $34 each. We also had to ask for plates, napkins and silverware. Such a disappointment after all our previous times there.

We had friends from Arizona visiting Oregon for the first time so we reserved a winery tour that we thought would interest them. It was going to be our first tour of the Willamette Valley Vineyards so we were looking forward to it as well. We were met by Natalie and she acted as our hostess. She provided us a behind-the-scenes look at the winery and the grounds on a beautiful summer day - the tour, and our hostess, did not disappoint. After a wonderful tour explaining the origins of the winery, the wine-making process and the storage process, we ended with a wine-tasting experience that included assorted cheeses. The wines we tried were delicious and our friends bought several bottles to be shipped back to Arizona. We couldn’t have asked for a better hostess and the tour/tasting was a big hit with our guests. We look forward to doing it again when other guests come to visit us in the future. Thank you so much Natalie!

So we purchased a wine suite stay with blending experience at a fundraiser and had the BEST time. First of all Mackenzie was awesome for our blending experience. Low key, informative and fun - super knowledgeable and engaging and not pretentious (we have been there done that). Wines are delicious - their blending machine is like Willy Wonka for wine - highly recommend… Second… Then dinner and tasting (yes we joined the club) with lovely Anna as our server. Delightful, informative and attentive - the food and quality and portions were impressive (we tempered our expectations) - delicious and she was so awesome. Highly recommend overall - we live in Bend, excited to try new tasting room there - great experience overall, quality without the attitude - the suite is beautiful and comfortable - views are breathtaking. So excited to continue trying their wines and 10 locations? What a win. 🍷❤️🍷

I have always been curious to go here and made my first trip on 6/12/24 to celebrate friends birthday. At first, the waiter in the outside seating area was very rude. He didn’t allow us to change tables to an empty one to get out of the hot sun as he said someone else might want that table. My friend went to order wine and he said she needed to get everyone’s ids at the table before 1 person ordered. Our large group gave our IDs and he seemed annoyed to be serving us. He went back to his kiosk and told us to come to him when ready to order. We did so for him to say he didn’t have the wine we wanted and we needed to go inside. It seemed like it was very difficult to be seated and begin our purchases. Once inside the waitresses were very kind to us. Although we weren’t trying to complain too much, the waitresses directed us to order outside which we told them we tried and that he wasn’t serving us. The waitresses inside immediately took care of us and were very polite and gave great customer service. They gave us a courtesy bottle of wine and made sure to be attentive to us the rest of our stay. This honestly saved the experience and we all ended up buying more wine than we were going to and food and entrees. My friend who originally wanted to leave and was in tears on her big day ended the night with laughter and celebration with friends. Due to how well they took care of us in the end, the free electric car power. The beautiful views and atmosphere, I definitely will go back!

Service was lacking. Young lady kept coming back to take only partial orders never took everyone’s drinks or wine. Ordered bread, got a hard, very hard roll, only one about six inches for six diners and cost $8! Food was ok, most in party was pleased, cost is $$$, and skimpy in servings. Could have been a little more for the cost. We bought two bottles of wine which was very good but check was for almost $400. With their membership monies and wine sales, why do they need to charge so much for food as it’s considered a minor income for them. Lower the cost and provide better service, will increase customer’s satisfaction. Not rocket science.

UPDATE - 5/20/24 Once again my fave place in Salem to take guests..a friend and I went up for lunch on Monday. A warm and smiling welcome at reception - Allison H. greeted us and explained how it worked if we want to dine outside. For once OR weather was cooperating - blue skies and sunshine! Allison checked with us a couple of times to make sure we were doing good. We didn't mind ordering our food and wine at the tasting bar or treking outside with our glasses and wine - they very kindly deliver the food to your table. Melia, who took our order was very personable and efficient. The service is just fabulous and we had some yummy munchies like the whipped feta with pistachio and pita triangles, a melange of olives and the bread and house made cultured butter ..paired with the elegant silky Griffin Creek Cab..lets just say our entire experience at WVV was spectacular. Full Disclosure - Hubby is in the trade and we are owners - Paul Smith set up our reservation and made sure we were happy campers when we left on Cloud Nine...ahhh what a day! Get there while the weather holds out! UPDATE 04/27/2024 Visited WVV with a friend visiting from NE OR. She comes once a year and we make our annual visit to WVV while she is here. Hubby and I are Owners, and hubby set up a tasting for us. What could be more fabulous whiling way a dreary afternoon gazing out over the vineyard from the dining room being served by a charming and engaging young lady. Lynsie poured and brought a decadent amuse bouche of chocolate mousse and edible flowers, and we also indulged in an order to share of the garlic and herb fries. Lynsie was knowledgeable and attentive throughout our visit and we left feeling pampered and pleasantly sated. After three years it’s official! It is now a tradition for our group of ladies (all co-workers) to costume-up and head for WVV for the tour and tasting on whichever Saturday is closest to Halloween – three years! The weather cleared beautifully after raining for two weeks – blue skies, dazzling sunshine and the “sort-of-warm” day that is typical of Oregon Fall… Full Disclosure: Hubby is in the retail end of adult beverages and his rep, Jose, very kindly arranged a tour and tasting for us. Jose generously gave up a part of his day off to provide a fabulous day at the vineyard for us girlies. I am a bubbles gal and to my delight, we began the tour with the truly fine Bernau Estate Brut Rose’ sparkling– it’s just right for a sunny afternoon – sophisticated, effervescent with just enough fruit. Recently, WVV has really delved into the production of some splendid sparkling wines. And, of course, their Pinots are their pièce de résistance. wines fabulous - what's not to love about WVV? Lo and Behold! Paul Smith, White Knight and Wine Ambassador Extraordinaire to the rescue. Booking crisis averted!

My wife and I did the wine tour and tasting for our five year anniversary and it was a wonderful experience. The views were fantastic. The wine was exceptional. However, what made the visit perfection was the gentleman who gave our tour. Max was so friendly and so knowledgeable! Getting to talk to him about the processes and history of the vineyard was one thing, but he also was so personable and incredibly genuine. Max went above and beyond and made our whole trip incredibly memorable!

Good wine bad service. Placed an order for food that did not come until I asked the front desk about it 45 minutes later. They brought it within 2 minutes after that, but it was cold, as if it had been sitting on a counter the whole time. They also don't clear the tables throughtout your time there, which becomes an inconvenience if you have a large party that orders several bottles and plates of food.

This past weekend I took my mom here for a mother-daughter day celebration, and it was the perfect spot! We had an amazing experience with our waitress Breanna, she recommended the amazing charcuterie board, which was so delicious and loved all the options, and helped us pair it with the perfect bottle from the vineyard. My mom is already making plans for us to come again with more of our family. Thank you Breanna and Willamette Valley Vineyard!!

Can't go wrong with WVV wines or estate property but I don't know whats going on with the patrons needing to serve themselves. Have to go inside to order and bring your things out to the table yourself with your hands full and the establishment has only a handful of occupied tables and zero carafes? This is a very established winery. Why aren't we getting table service? What am I tipping for if I served myself? Oh, and we had to reuse our glass for each pour of our flight? Again, this isn't a brand new, small winery. I've been coming here for years. What's going on?

We were driving down to Eugene and decided to stop for a tasting. The property is beautiful, even on a rainy day. The tasting was affordable and we got a tasty pizza to go with it. Breanna was our server and she was very knowledgeable about the wines and very personable. We had a great time!

I had gone to their website to make a reservation but I had read in numerous sections that a reservation was not necessary. When we arrived there were multiple open tables but told the only seat available was upstairs with no server and paper cups of water that you served yourself. We had ordered the burgers both asking for well done. Both burgers came out bloody and inedible. I had requested a refund through square and never received one. I even submitted photos of our raw burgers with a stick in the middle of the burger stating it was well done. We didn’t have anyone come check on us since there was no server; to see how our food was. We were traveling up to Portland for a conference and didn’t have time for them to refire a new burger, so we ate the french fries and had to leave. The customer service there was not great. I won’t be returning.

Just spent two nights at the Willamette Valley Vineyards Estate. The first day, we toured the winery; enjoyed a wine tasting; and ate a wonderful meal. Our tour guide (and Winery Ambassador, Alison Rickman) was very knowledgeable and wonderfully personable. It is very apparent that Alison loves her job. She is truly an asset to her employer. Also, a shout-out to our server, Sarah. Another employee who obviously loves her work. On our second day, Alison lead us in a wine-blending experience where we discovered how truly talented wine makers are. Regardiing the wines, Willamette Valley Vineyards produces an amazing variety of outstanding wines.

Our most recent visit was for Sparkling Easter Brunch, and we had a terrific time. Lucked out with perfect spring weather, and a table by the window to enjoy the stunning views. Great wine, of course, and the special brunch menu was fantastic. I'll be thinking about the chicken biscuit sandwich for a long time. Special recognition goes to our server, Mischka, who was attentive, thoughtful, and sweet.

Another visit in April 2024. I have visited here many times and this was the best visit because we’ve got a great guide, Quinn this time. He was very knowledgeable, attentive and super nice. A guide makes a huge difference when you taking winery tour. (This was a combination of tour and tasting, which is a great idea) I can truly recommend him for your next winery tour at this place. I have nothing but good things to say about this place because I am one of the owners of there shares. Hahaha. Seriously, this is one of the nicest winery in Oregon. It is grand. Serves a full menu of food. Wines are fantastic. I highly recommend this winery if you are visiting willamette valley.

The place was huge and more like a restaurant than a tasting room at a winery! I’m definitely interested in coming back for pizza and wine. I wouldn’t suggest going for just a “wine tasting”. Make a reservation, otherwise you could be waiting for a while. Our tasting wasn’t super enjoyable because we had 5 different people helping us, most of which didn’t seemed thrilled to be doing so. I will say Sammy was GREAT, we wished she would have helped us the whole time. Interesting experience, not what was expected.

We enjoyed a beautiful Sunday afternoon at the Estate Vineyard for Easter Brunch.  We were met with a friendly greeting upon arrival and once seated Sarah D took great care of us from there! Brunch started with a welcome pour of Brut Rosé and a complimentary pastry board.  It was hard to choose from brunch menu selections as they all sounded so good, and our selections did not disappoint. The prime rib sandwich and smoked salmon benedict were delicious!  We shared the double chocolate cheesecake for dessert ... WOW! After brunch we enjoyed a glass of wine on the patio while taking in the sunshine, and enjoying the incredible views.

I went here for the dinner service, driving up the hill is fun, parking was sufficient for not being too crowded. We're seated promptly with my date, and we're asked for our drink type soon after. Our restaurant server was very cordial and polite. She understood everything we said and was prompt in her service the entire evening, also brought refills or new drinks when wanted. The olive appetizers were really good and salty like I wanted it to be, our Pinot Noir paired wonderfully as expected. The entree was delicious, and I had to get a second order just to bring it home for lunch the next day, our dessert was the carrot ginger ice cream, for which I switched for the buttered ice cream instead for it not being to ginger tasting. Also ordered the chocolate cheesecake that was eaten completely, nothing left and good. They turned on the piano after my asking them to, it was good ambiance before, but with the music it was perfect. I'll go back during the day for lunch and drinks, should be a hoot.

I love WVV so much, I bought the company. No not all of it, but a few hundred shares and now I am part of the owner's club. What makes it even better is that I get paid in wine...Yes, wine. My dividends are paid in the BEST WINE. Cabernet and Pinot and much more. But, the people that make up WVV are awesome as well. They truly care about their wine, their coworkers, their customers and their community. My Winery Ambassador is Jette Rainwater. Every holiday, I send WVV products out as gifts. 100% positive feedback from my recipients and Jette makes it seamless, easy and reliable!!! Thank you, Jette and Thank you, WVV. This has to be my fifth time eating there. The food was very good but the service was very disappointing. We were a party of seven. They pushed two four tops together and repeatedly refused to see this at the two large round tables at the corner they're already set up with six chairs. The entire meal those two tables remained empty. The waitress barely gave us any attention and did not clean up dirty dishes at all. Another server helped out by taking three of the seven dirty dishes away. When I asked the waitress if she could do it she did not. Instead she brought over the bills for us to pay. They are far better at wine than at food service.
