Great ice cream options in a super cute space my kids loved it

Super adorable spot that we just kinda happened upon randomly The kids had a great time with the little old western shooting range in the back room and the two kids at counter were sweet and attentive.

Went here a couple days ago. there was two people working but I was not greeted once just stared at as I came in and I SAID HELLO but was again just stared at. They were BOTH just chatting with an elderly gentleman and just was watching me hold my 3 gallon jug for about 5 minutes before I HAD to interrupt and ask how much it was per gallon because one worker was just staring at me while the other was chatting with a gentleman. Would not recommend to literally anyone. It smelled mildewy when I was in there too

Out of water? I don’t understand, but this Water & Ice place never has water.

Three times now in the last month we've stopped by to get ice and their out. So basically the water and ice store is only a water store. We love to support local but when 1/2 your product is unavailable, there's an issue.

Convenient place to get water. My only concern is the kids that run the store are sometimes not attentive. Either on their phones or talking. I personally have never seen adult supervision. I have been in well over 50 times.

Great place! The only thing that threw us off was there was no ramp to roll the water carts down. Please update your menu prices online as we went and planned on grabbing a few snacks, but the prices weren't what we were expecting to pay.

Great little mom and pop shop to fill up the water and get some treats at the same time. After filling up our waters one day we got some mixed sodas and while walking to the car we noticed the cup of my youngest child was leaking from the bottom. An employee of the store had just pulled up and noticed what was going on. Rather than just shrugging it off he went out of this way to run into the store and bring us out a spare cup. You can't always find kind gestures and great customer service like that.

Love this place! Truly a hidden gem that's fun to take your kiddos to for a break, ice cream and fun downtime.

The workers are always nice and cheerful and they are conscious of new ppl coming in and in what order, and they dont putz around. Always see them busy cleaning, refilling things, stocking etc. (they really could show some other businesses how customer service works👍). Ice cream is great~ I go there for the Birthday Cake Ice Cream😋 I haven't tried anything else on menu, but there IS more to choose from. There also is a large room with seating and games for the kids. Just an fyi~ they're closed on Sundays.

Love this place it's a great place to take your kids for ice cream they have a shooting gallery and lots of munchies not to mention dozens and dozens of soda flavors and shaved ice. As well as some hot food

Totally simple and great ice cream. Thrifty ice cream is awesome and creamy and they have a lot of flavors here. That is all I have had at Winters but they do have hot dogs and sodas and water, etc. They also have a cute little eating area that kids love. It looks like an old west town and you can use the Lazer guns for 1.00 ... whenever I go there are more adults than kids hanging out! But it's great for kids! You can also get ice cream packed to go. Definitely visit if you like a place that isn't trying so hard to be fancy and entertaining... they don't have to do that at Winters. It's perfect as it is.

Have lived near for a few years and had no idea this place existed.... Sooooo happy I do now though... Thank you for the gentleman working behind the counter for helping us as well.. Can't wait to bring the kiddos for icecream and see their faces. *Tip for the owner PUT BRIGHT NEON or FLASHING SIGNS. Either WATER & ICE OR GET YOUR DELICIOUS ICE CREAM HERE!! You are hidden to the naked eye... Or don't so this can be the secret little place no-one knows about unless they are in the know. Lol. Thanks again....

If I could give this 6 stars, I would. I've been looking for Thrifty Ice Cream for so many years, served the way I remember it like getting it as a kid. This mom n pop wholesome place is seriously one of my new favorite things of all of east side. The kids working there are so friendly and helpful, the ice cream is perfect and great prices. I really can't say enough good things. I'm really about to start going weekly and be a regular

We came in with a small party of 6 kids and 4 adults for a simple party. It was wonderful the atmosphere was incredibly welcoming and the Winters family was so polite and pleasantly patient with us. Thank you so much from our family the little gathering was so memorable, our 11 year old son and 3 year old daughter were so happy. Thank you once again kudos to the kids working in there they were all just so professional and polite as well. Please give this place an opportunity to show you there friendly smiles and great service, wish there were more places with this kind of service in our area..
