The gyro tasted great, but it was expensive for the size. Also, the cook didn't have gloves and was definitely touching the food. The woman at the window was very nice.

Gyros is not authentic. If you ever traveled to Greece and are trying to find something authentic this isn’t your place.

Easy drive through for awesome gyros. The chicken one is my favorite. They even gave my dog some extra meat as a treat.

First time eating her but definitely not the last. Lamb gyro was freshly made, meat tender and seasoned just right. Can’t wait to try other items in the menu

I neither like tomatoes nor onions (uncooked) but the marriage between the tzatziki sauce and the lamb (I ordered double meat, worth it IMO) just goes so well together! I'll definitely be recommending this and I'll be sure to come back again!

This place was yummy! My husband loves Philly cheese steaks, and he was very impressed with the one he got from here. He is a hard to please kinda guy when it comes to his cheese steak sandwiches. The lamb Gyro was super yummy as well. Will definitely be going back.

I’m glad I found this lovely little spot! It’s drive thru only but that’s perfect for a lunch spot. The chicken gyro I had was awesome and so were the fries. It’s one of the better priced lunch spots that I’ve found.

Picked up lunch today, holy cow I could go back tomorrow. Staff was super friendly, gyros were incredible (and not too expensive). Will definitely return.

This is a small little place with drive through. Food was great and they gave me a small portion of meat for my dog. If we lived here we would be regular customers.

This is the best bang for the buck in Anchorage! Usually I get the lamb gyro, but today I got the reindeer sausage with the carmelized onions. Quick and friendly service, yummy to the tummy original food! I like how for $1 more, you get chips and a soda. Great family owned gem in the heart of midtown.

You'd think since Falafals are available ONLY on Fridays, Zorba would make sure they ARE available. But, apparently, Zorbo doesn't care enough about customers to make it so. What a waste of time!

Gyros are $8 but card minimum is $9. Seems like a money grab to justify an extra item.

That Greek salad is my favorite salad in town. So much for your money.

I really used to enjoy this place but quality has gone down while prices have continued to go up. Bottom of Philly buns have started turning up wet and soggy from grease. Gyros are good but veggies in them are not as well prepared. But my main complaint is that prices keep going up up and up.. It used to be a good option but now I can't afford them anymore.. Every visit turns out to be another case of sticker shock.

Probably the best Gyros in Anchorage. They also accept cards now so that's a plus!

I consider my self a bit of a connoisseur of Gyros. I've tried them at several places near my home in Denver. I cannot think of any that I would prefer over Zorba's. So good that my guests and i were determined to get there for lunch again 2 days later before leaving town. And I told a few of my friends about it.

Great place to go for a quick bite to eat that’s not fast food!

I visited on Friday- falafel day! I got a falafel and a Greek salad with chicken and spent $20.50. The pita was warm and the ingredients were fresh and crispy and the tzatziki sauce was awesome. The Greek salad was HUGE and was delicious, but I missed having cucumbers in it. Loved the dressing, and the salad is big enough for 2 people. I ate the falafel for lunch, half the salad for dinner and the other half salad for lunch the next day. Dress salad right before you eat it, otherwise it won't be edible if it sits long. Delicious and excellent customer service. They prefer cash btw!

Best Gyro spot in AK. First time buying I had to stop myself from going right back for more.

The customer service is okay. I ordered the Western Gyro with a bag of chips and a can of soda. I also ordered baklava for my sweet tooth. I received my food within 3 minutes of placing my order. They only accepted cash. The drive-thru gets a little difficult in the winter because you tend to get stuck but I think that it is a fast way to get your food on a 30 minute lunch. I wish they had a parking lot that you can pull into to eat your food rather than having to park in the Wells Fargo parking lot. The food is packaged neatly in foil along with napkins inside of the container. I wish they would provide plastic forks to pick up any droppings from the gyro. The can sodas could be colder. I placed a quarter next to the baklava to compare the size. The baklava is cold, sweet, dense, flaky, and sticky but overall good. The temperature of gyro is fresh off of the grill. The tzatziki sauce is not evenly placed. It would be better if they spread it on the pita bread before laying down the meat, cheese, and vegetables, topping it off with some more tazatziki sauce. They do not put enough on the gyro and then extra sauce cost more money ( I believe $1 more). Quite a bit of oil drips from the gyro as you eat it so you have to be careful. I enjoy coming here and I'd recommend it. My meal cost $12 and I have a full belly. Thank you for the meal.

"Is it gyro like the mechanical part?" I ask, slightly embarassed at my own ignorance. "Like hero" says the kind face in the window, "have you tried one before? If you have questions, please ask away, we want you to be happy!" Sold. I'm hooked. Patience, kindness, helpfulness, and the absolutely mouth watering smell coming from the grill top....I haven't even ordered yet and I want to live here. I demurely ask if there is still falafel left, after hearing how fast they go, I had low hope. "Yes! I have a few left I think, let me double check." He disappears and is back in a flash "I have enough for two if you want them." Greedily and quickly I almost shout "Yes". He walks me through what goes on them (my request. I live with a picky eater), I ask about removing stuff "no problem! We want you to eat something you'll love!" (At this point, I want to know how I could take this guy with me as my personal motivational speaker. Such genuine kindness is soul shaking). I order the last of the falafel, a lamb "hero" and extra tzatziki sauce (they have the best I've ever had). My food was ready in two shakes of the tail of my gyro meat. I literally went "Wow, that was fast!" and was given an impish smile by the masterful cook (I'm now realizing I may have been served by an otherworldly creature, one that exists to make life a bit more beautiful just by its being). I don't remember the total, but I do remember another "Wow" escaping my mouth. I handed over a $50 (I think my order was in the mid $20 range) and said I didn't want any change. A slight protest from him, I shouted "You're wonderful I love you" (I meant you're wonderful and thank you, but sometimes the truth makes it's way out) and drove off to enjoy my (literally mouth watering) wonderful gyros and falafel. In short, go if you haven't been. Go even if you have been. Go for the food, the service and the little bit of brightness that Zorba's will bring into your life.

I had the standard gyros sandwich. It was refreshingly simple, but elegant in its flavors. I am coming back here more often

The lamb gyros are so good, and the customer service is top notch!

When I was six years old I made an observation that has mostly played out to be true in that the messier food tends to be: the more enjoyable and tasty it is. Of course this doesn't apply to eating a great steak at a steakhouse or any other genuinely fine dining experience with utensils. But when it comes to foods you hold by hand like hamburgers, subs, and Gyros; this observation has served me well. Unfortunately for Zorba's Gyros this is why I will not plan on returning. When I go to a place with gyros in the name I expect that when I order a gyro it will be a hearty portion of the best meat they can shove in my mouth (for the price) along with enough lettuce tomato onions and tzatziki sauce to make it impossible for me to consider eating while driving. What I got at Zorba's, however, was something I was not intimidated to drive with at all and ate within minutes of departing. Without making a mess. The taste was that of every paltry Gyro I had ever had at a fair, with half the meat, almost none of the veggies, and barely enough sauce to make the last bite something to be careful with, but not scary. Clara Peller would have had a field day taking this place to task.

Absolutely amazing ! I recommend this to anyone who love gyros . The picture below is a Western style gyro with grilled onions and peppers , I got the gyro with chips and soda for $10 . I will be back 👍thanks Zorbas you guys are awesome

I neve heard of a Gyro until I went here, and it was a mind blower. Fast delicious sandwiches with plenty of other options. Can't beat the price, you get more then what you paid for. Did I mention its DELICIOUS!

Gyros are great, price is low and service is fast. Lunch special is pretty cheap. No dine in but I just park across the street to eat.

Their homemade tzatziki sauce is delicious. The lamb is tender and juicy. The pita bread is soft and fluffy. Always a good meal there.

Although the meat is not legit gyro meat, I still recommend them! They take cash only so be sure to have that on hand and they’re also drive thru. We ordered 2 gyros and as we drove out we took a bite and turned right back around to order more cause it was that delicious. The staff were very friendly as well.

In my opinion I believe they need huge tips at Zorba’s!!! LOL. We Love every single thing on menu! Never disappointed, and I know exactly what flavors I’m getting every single time.

Great quick in and out drive-thru experience. I recommend any item that has Zorba's homemade tzatziki sauce. They have a good size selection on the menu and the food is prepared promptly. Cheers to Nick (guy working the drive-thru) for his friendliness and allowing me to try samples. Absolutely going back for more quality Greek food!

Had the western gyro and it was good. Not the best gyro I've ever had but wasn't bad by any means especially for the price. Head to Eagle River and go to Meraki Hellenic Grill if you want what i would consider to be the best "yerros, gryo, Mediterranean taco" in Alaska.

Speedy service and awesome food. Great homemade tzatziki sauce and salad dressing for the Greek salad. Are you a lamb lover too? Hint: working out? Try adding two side orders of lamb over their Greek salad for a high protein, nutrition packed meal. Their fresh lettuce and tomato, feta and their home made dressing (with cut pita to get the last of the salad) will leave you satisfied and keep you coming back. Best drive through food in town!

This place has great Greek street food at pretty incredible price. Doesn't take them long to make a gyro, so it's the perfect drive through during the lunch hour for folks on the go. There's no where to sit and eat so driving or walking through is your only option. Tasty sauce!
