I had the chicken sandwich with bacon and a fried egg, with fries, AMAZING. So simple but so good. The food was very well made, fries were just the right amount of soft yet crispy. Perfectly seasoned. The chicken was cooked perfectly soft and tender on the inside and nicely breaded crispy on the outside. My girl had a salad and she loved it! Would definitely go here again. Better than anything on the island

At 9am the restaurant was empty. Pretty sad for such a nice place with great food. I had the 98 special, my wife had the breakfast burrito. I never had grits n hash rounds together and it was good. The The burrito was huge and more than my wife could eat but they have go boxes. This is an awesome place to eat. Please take time to go there. It's not hard to find , just look for the car wash and it's in the strip shops behind it.

Consistently good, hot food. Friendly service and decent prices. Kids love the giant corn dog and chicken tenders. Fries are always hot and fresh❣️

Here on Vaca with the family, boyfriend and I decided to run out on our own for lunch on the last day for a bit of a break. Ran across this place on accident. Super great accident! Food was great, service was super friendly and helpful without being over attentive. Will def try to swing thru again next year to try more of the menu!

Bad customer service! Called they answered with “yea what do you want”. VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!!

Stopped by here while we were visiting other nearby places on vacation. Had a Philly Steak sandwich and I have to say it is by far one of the better ones I have had in quite a while. I dropped in before the big lunch rush so service was quick, and staff was friendly and would have some conversations with us.

Expensive Frozen pizza - don't bother.

We come to 98 Eats fairly often. Per usual, the atmosphere is really nice ( y'all have rearranged again!) and the service was excellent. This time, however, our pizza seemed a little under baked, the fries weren't as crispy as usual and our kiddos hot dog buns were grilled too long and were hard. It was a little disappointing to be honest. But we will be back.

Service was slow. Got fries instead of onion rings I ordered. Seemed like it had just opened and isn't in the swing yet.

Great service couldn't have been better. The food was amazing. A little longer than bigger restaurants but it was worth it. Small nice and cozy. Very comfortable seats and booths. One of the best restaurants I have ever been to.

Nice local joint to eat at. After taking a break from expensive seafood restaurants on the coast, we decided to try a local bar and grill type place. Food was delicious and the price was right. I'd come back here on my next trip for sure.

Being burned out on just okay, over priced seafood and such,we wanted to try someplace different. What a find! So friendly, fresh and fast! I had the delicious patty melt with fries....huge sandwich cooked perfectly and enough fries for three or more. My husband got the wings with sauce on the side. They were crispy and meaty. He is picky and said they were some of the best he's had. Same consensus with the onion rings. Definitely will be back! It's a must try!

We had the white pizza which was good and also had breakfast the next morning. The eggs and bacon were very good.

Me and my wife had two sandwiches. Italian and a meatball. Both were good and ingredients were fresh. They own the bar and liquor store next door so you can get whatever drinks you like. We had our usual Oyster City. It’s the local Apalachicola brewery beer. I usually don’t point this out but the glass of water I got was super clean and refreshing also. The main star of the night was the loaded fries we got for an appetizer. They were plenty for two and super yummy. They also do pizza and salads here and may try them in the future. Staff was friendly and nice and the dining room was clean and relaxing. Another thing to know, they are open till 10pm most nights so it’s a great spot for that late night date night.

Get about anything on the menu you will not be disappointed 😋 loved it My family and I stayed on St. George's island for 2 weeks on our first day we drove to 98 Eats and I ordered thier boar head sandwich, kids got the pizza, and wife got the wings. Food was soooooo good!!

Was just eating there so good!! Been down here for about 4 days now with my family and this was the first place that was actually good. I would definitely go back.

I've never had Funnel Cake Fries before, they were amazing and the poor waitress got slammed and handled it like a champ, if ever in area again will definitely go here to eat!!!!!
