Burrito works was a great place to eat at. We tried the world Famous Ufo and mahi mahi tacos. The ufo was great but was very messy. It is all outdoors and wished the had an indoor option .

This place is busy every time we visit St. Augustine. We decided to try it and we weren't disappointed.

The gem of the beach. Been going here for 15+ years and it has never disappointed. Good portions of food, always delicious, employees are friendly. I’ve tried every single item on the menu over these years and I’ve not once found something I didn’t enjoy. Their salsa is delicious by the way. Can’t go wrong with anything. Hands down, best tacos and burritos in the state. Parking can be limited and crowds do form large lines but it’s worth it.

This place is incredible! We live out of town but every time we are here we eat at burrito works almost every day! The UFO is filled with so much delicious flavor and is my go to thing to order! A must try!

Amazing place to eat, highly recommend the UFO with steak with the Works (No salsa). It’s out of the world. Their food is always a wonderful hit to your tastebuds. Filled with flavor. The staff are wonderful there as well, they always do their best when they’re busy. The only issue is the parking, it’s a bit odd to park there. Other than that, this place is amazing.

My favorite place to eat while we were in St. Augustine. The steak UFO is life changing. The parking is just a bit tight so don’t expect to show up in a large vehicle lol

just left there (8:55pm on Friday night) They put tomato on my husbands ufo and tried telling me “it’s because they mix a little salsa in their rice”. We have been coming here for YEARS and never have seen tomatoes on our ufos. I also got a UFO and as you can see pictured there is no tomato in my rice. Which I told him and he said “yours must be more towards the back”. They clearly did not want to remake the food as it was their mistake and then fed me a lie. You can see in the pictures that they put tomato on his. Tipped 25% for awful service. Thanks guys.

Wow love the food - I’ve had it many times. But I must say, about the atmosphere - not very pleasant :( on the evening of July 4th, my family of 4 was ordering tacos and food and a bunch of high schoolers were in the parking lot next to this food stand. And there were like 100 of them and some of them shot bottle rockets at us and they laughed. And I didn’t like that. TRUST ME, Order the UFO

Excellent food! My husband had the burrito and I had the nachos with the works... food was very flavorful. The Birria shredded beef is so delicious! Definitely going to be one of our favorite places every time we visit St. Augustine

Our food was served cold on stale tortillas. Couldn't eat most of it as it was inedible.

Tacos were tasty, we had Mahi Mahi, grilled shrimp in Baja style and Chicken, beef and veggie in the Works. Personally I liked better the Baja style and the shrimp was my favorite. The Mahi Mahi was a bit dry but tasty. I loved that they came in two tortillas. I missed beer on tap, they only have cans or bottles. It’s just a grab and go place, the atmosphere isn’t good to stay for a while in the heat.

The UFO is out of the world... Love this quaint little place... I could eat all 3 of my daily meals here. It's that good..

Waited 47 min for two tacos and nachos. Had to wait in line to ask about the food because we had been waiting there. Everyone before and after us had there order. When we ask the kid he said doesn’t the order. Hey if you want to just be a place for people out of town I get it keep this service up. My order was under the name Kevin and was called 23 min before I went up and asked. I kept telling the child that it was my order and he had an attitude no my bad or I’m sorry just I don’t have it and I don’t take orders. Seriously paid 40$ pulse tip for some cold food and an attitude.

Definitely needed to order ahead we waited over 30 mins for our food.

This is a fun place at the beach. Bathing suits welcome. Place your order at the window and,if you like, eat at one of the outdoor picnic tables. Everything they serve is really good - especially the UFO. Try it you'll like it!

Great food! The only catch that day was I called in my order and was told it would be ready in 15 minutes, when I arrived 15 minutes later the food had not been started and it was another 15 before it was ready.

After a short wait in line to place my food order, I waited close to 40 mins to receive my food. I felt something was amiss when quite a few patrons who arrived after me received their orders before I did. The attentive female chef in the kitchen noticed after a while that I was not yet served and proceeded to check in with me. While I was not too pleased with the hiccup in getting my food I am thankful for the attentiveness of the chef. I just wish they would've started my order immediately after realizing their mistake instead of putting me at the end of the queue. Overall food was great.

Fantastic tacos. The kung fu was great. There is not much parking, so if you can walk there, do that. Sit outside, but there are umbrellas.

Great place I recommend this place to anyone that’s in St Augustine. The UFO is to die for, I order it Baja style (it’s a little spicy) my other go to is the California burrito. It’s not your normal, they put fries in it with steak. Love it!!! Don’t come to st Augustine and skip this place, you won’t regreat it

Amazing tacos, authentic fresh ingredients I had the street tacos chicken and carnitas and they were delish. Word to the wise that are authentic when with the spice level so if you can't tolerate heat let the server know and they can help guide you. Amazing service, parking is right but there is parking on the back road as well.

There is a reason this place has a rating of 4.7 with over 2500 ratings. The food and service was that good. This is a very small place with only a small amount of parking spaces and just a few tables so take-out is helpful. My family was lucky enough to get a parking space and table so we could enjoy the excellent food and listen to the good music they were playing. Everyone in my family enjoyed their food with no complaints. I had the steak tacos and the seasoning on it was excellent. If we go back to St. Augustine we will definitely make A1A Burrito Works a dinner stop again.

Love the kung fu tacos and ufos. Be prepared to wait in the heat, but it's a perfect beach taco shop. We always hit this place up when we go to St Aug Beach.

Great little outdoor place with excellent food.

We were reluctant to try this place but there is almost always a line so we took a chance. It's our favorite place to eat when we come to Crescent Beach. Don't be afraid of the line, it moves fast and if the locals will wait in line outside, you know it's good!

We read a few previous reviews and had to stop and check this place out. Our food was very fresh and had fantastic flavors. The service was quick and friendly, and the place was a cute open air joint on the beach. This was our first stop on the beach for our vacation, and we will be back!!

Great authentic Mexican street fare done very well. Very affordable. The locals love it, so we went on their recommendation. We were pleasantly surprised. We had various tacos and guacamole, and all were fresh and top-notch.

I love everything on the menu here. From the baja style tacos to their burritos and ufos, I've love everything they serve here. Food is always fresh and tasty and the outdoor beachy vibe can't be beat, especially on a nice day. Highly recommend to anyone local or visiting the area!

Got takeout here last night, while the flavor profile of each item was delish- the spice was overwhelming for all of us. This included steak, chicken, & tempeh. Three of the four of us enjoy spicy foods. The steak was inedible for one of us and the other 3 commented the spice was too unexpected to enjoy. Again, the flavor was good but the spice was too much and we ended up wasting a lot of the food to the trash

Stopped here on Saturday night, online hours said they were open till 2 am. They actually closed at 10:30 or 11. Stopped by the next morning and they had a line before they were even open. Food was awesome! Their birria is pretty good, I just wish they served it with consume.

This is simply a Tex-Mex taco/burrito stand with a an outdoor eating area on the side. There’s only one counter to order, so the line is often long and wraps around the side of the building. There are a few parking spaces to the right and in front, but most people tend to walk here. Pros 1) Convenient location close to the beach. 2) Variety of options to choose from: burritos, tacos, quesadillas, tostadas, bowls, proteins, and styles (baja vs the works). 3) Variety of sauces (spicy, medium, even sriracha) 4) Great and friendly service. Cons 1) Lack of ways to order besides standing in line. Unless you order online beforehand, you’re stuck standing in line 30-40 minutes. Maybe having a second person to put in order would help. 2) The foods are just okay. I ordered California burrito baja style. It has French fries wrapped in it, which was a little too much. I also had the shrimp, mahi mahi, and birria premium tacos. The mahi mahi was the best when paired with baja style. The soft corn tacos (chicken, beef, and pork) were just okay. 3) Maybe because I was hoping to get Mexican flavors, so the tacos didn’t hit the spot for me. After all, this is more of a Tex-Mex establishment. I really wanted to like this place because it’s so convenient and has so many yummy options to choose from. But the foods just didn’t hit the spot for me. I might still give it another shot and order something else next time. Maybe more mahi mahi tacos.

We celebrated my dad's 49 th birthday there with tacos and beer and our own cupcakes but the food is always good they need a big sit down restaurant right off the beach that would be perfect.

Amazing little taco/burrito shop. The chili burrito was superb as was the shrimp one. The refried beans were some of the best I've had and the Baja sauce is wonderfully spicy and flavorful.

Easily the best Taco's and Burritos I have had anywhere in Florida. This gem has won awards year after year, been on cooking shows it really is a MUST TRY. I now understand why they always have a line up. Trust me, it is worth the wait ! Highly recommend the UFO Burrito 🤯

Chillest beachside eats you could get. If you're a fan of tacos, it's a definite must. Low-comitment eatery, easy to access and then immediately be on the beach, or eat in their cozy outdoor patio. It's refreshingly casual with good food and a modest selection of low-cost, popular beers

My husband and I waited 45 minutes after we ordered 3 items. When they finally came out the food was cold to the touch. The birria beef was bland and overcooked. Gross, overpriced food.

Great place on A1A. I call it a local gem. Food is always delicious. The guac and chips are very good, the taco shells they make are delicious and crispy. My husband loves their UFOs. Staff is always friendly, food is usually out pretty quick. Their courtyard is pretty, with picnic tables, tables etc out there to sit out there to eat outside if you choose to eat there. Pet friendly.

Stopped in for lunch driving up the coast. Great food. Service was fast and polite despite all of the spring break kids milling about and trying to cut in line. Would definitely recommend stopping here and getting anything on the menu.

Had my share of California Burritos, from Oceanside,Cali, all the way on the West Coast. But its been a good 12 years since I had one....until tonight,out here on the east coast in St Augustine....Yep, this is dead on a California Burrito!!! So so good! Stood in line for an hour and 30 minutes! Totally worth it

They need to make reviews where you can comment. One idiot doesn't like seafood tacos and gave 1 star for shrimp tacos. This place is 2nd biggest reason I'm heading back to St. Augustin next week

Tacos are not great -very bland. The shrimp tacos in particular however my wife reports as being some of th best she has ever had! I don’t eat seafood so I can’t speak to that. However if you are into shrimp tacos it may be worth the visit. Otherwise the long lines are ridiculous- they just need to hire more people to work the counter. The lack of the use of gloves and overall cleanliness around food is scary - I took the risk- haven't gotten sick as if yet- so hopeful I wont be. However if you get a peak inside when you order or pickup the food through the narrow dark and small windows you will see the place is horridly filthy with chips and debris all over the floor. Again my wife says shrimp tacos were amazing. I got chicken and beef soft shell they were just ok– I was mentally distracted by the absolutely horrific cleanliness issues and frustrated with the long wait so may have skewed my review slightly.

Seriously some of the best tacos I’ve ever had. The UFO was insanely good. We also ordered the dip sampler with salsa, queso, and guacamole, all of it was delicious! The service was fast, which made the experience even better. If I lived in St Augustine I’d eat here at least once a week!

Expect to wait a long time for your order. Food tastes fresh and flavorful, but would have liked to not wait 40 minutes for a counter order. We saw an enormous line one night and thought “I bet that place is really great.” I now know why there were so many people there, because of the wait to get their food after ordering.

Food was great but between waiting in line to order and waiting for our food to be ready, it was roughly an hour. Would suggest calling to order or ordering online.

Some of the best tacos I’ve ever had. The crunch shells are excellent and The Works goes great with the ground beef. Excellent queso and the UFO is delicious. Nice people, great food, cute little area to sit in the back. What’s not to love about this place.
