Very friendly atmosphere. Lots of stuff to do to entertain you while your waiting on your food. Inside and outside seating. The 2 Zabas that run the place are very nice and knowledgeable of the area as well.

We had a great little breakfast here on our vacation. The man at the counter was lovely- very friendly and welcoming. Food was quick and very good (their house made mustard was excellent) and the coffee was good. Highly recommend!

Great food, great prices and GREAT service. We had a group of 19 people come in for takeout to this small restaurant and not only did we get all our food in under 20 minutes, but the owner had a smile on his face the entire time! Great place, definitely recommend!

Food was delicious! So fresh and the iced coffee with their flavored syrups was so good too! We came around 9am, didn't have a long wait at all. They're very kind and personable here, was such a friendly atmosphere! Reminds me a bit of Luke's diner from Gilmore girls. Highly recommend and will be coming back regularly myself!

What a gem of a place this is! They were SO friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious, we had a disco breakfast burrito with ham and a breakfast sandwich with shaved ribeye. They made our toddler a mini smoothie even though only one size was on the menu. We sat down to wait for our food, and as soon as our toddler kicked my husband out of the chair, they grabbed a third chair for us. I could not recommend this place more. 15/10.

This place is the BEES KNEES! My son and I (and dog) stopped in for the first time on our way to the beach for a quick breakfast, and I instantly felt at home. Convivial atmosphere of locals, good menu selection (we just had bagels, which were good), and super friendly fella at the counter. Nice outdoor areas if you have pooches with ya. Been hoping to find a place that felt like the 1980s Jack’s BBQ from my childhood. This will likely become a regular morning coffee haunt for me as a new local. Hey locals! (tourists too ☺️) support local business!

We have travel a lot of place. Zaba is one of the best we have been to. Atmosphere was great the owner help us with picking out something different to eat. He recommended different things on the menu. He was awesome. The whole place just sits there and talks altogether small little place but wonderful food.

Searched for a best rated place in the area for a breakfast spot. This place had 4.8 or 4.9 *. I really can't understand how. The food was basic, nothing special at all, coffee was terrible. Service was good, people working there were nice. But I wish the place wouldn't be rated this high, just because of service, it's misleading

I absolutely love eating breakfast at Zaba's. Their breakfast in a bowl will turn a not grit lover into a grit lover. Must try their in house mustard and various local sauces. I would recommend this place to anyone I see. Simple and elegant.

Incredible! We were a group of 13 people, including Americans, Peruvians, Puerto Ricans and Ukrainians, the service and food were excellent, the staff, Brandon and Will. Sharon's food is excellent! I recommend it if you are in the area.

Great little spot near the beach that I stumbled upon looking for coffee. Their coffee is really delicious, and they have milk alternatives. I also had a breakfast sandwich that was really good. Very friendly people. Would definitely go back!

wow! from other reviews i'd read, i expected this place to be good, but it was even better! this place is absolutely awesome!! even with a limited menu it really didn't matter. we got the Morning Sunshine Bowl with a mix of homefries and grits and it was easily one of the best breakfast items i've had in a long time. the mango smoothie and white chocolate lattes were awesome too. highly recommended!!! i'm still thinking about that breakfast bowl...

Best breakfast burrito in town! Super fast, super friendly staff, great location for a quick bite. Small seating area, might be tight during busy times but food was well worth it. Pretty diverse menu for such a small place, I'd say they'd have something for most everyone. Definitely recommend!

A great locally owned and run eatery! My wife and I were greeted warmly by the nice folk at Zaba’s from the moment we arrived. The coffee is fabulous, the breakfasts were down home authentic and tasty as could be, we felt happy and comfortable eating and chatting with everyone, and I mean everyone. Zaba’s is clearly a place well loved by the people living in town. We saw many of the same faces on one day and another, with always a kind “hello” and a smile. Add dog friendly to the mix, and what’s not to like? I wish my town had a place like this - somewhere to enjoy a nice cuppa, friendly folk, and a great breakfast that will make you think of happier, simpler times.

I’m gonna miss this place when we go back home. We were immediately warmly welcomed in, no concept of being a stranger here. It’s a cute little joint. The food tasted like what my granny from the south would make me. It’s a home-style type of breakfast. I got the morning sunshine bowl and it was delicious!! Not to mention the iced latte, it was amazing. It came in a styrofoam cup which is so unordinary, i loved it lol. Unfortunately, I didn’t get anyone’s names but the kind man who brought us our food also took several minutes to circle some things on a map of St. Augustine for us to visit; it helps that he used to be a tour guide. Please visit here while you’re in town. You won’t regret it. I’m really gonna miss this place.

So we tried this place on our first day in St. Augustine, and it was so good that we ended up going religiously, every morning of our trip. Yummy food! We had several different breakfast burritos, and biscuits and gravy. Coffee options were fantastic too. The real draw though, is the people there. Amazing service, it's a tiny place and it gets a bit busy at times, but these guys handle it effortlessly and with a welcoming smile on their face. They are super laid back, just the perfect atmosphere for a quick breakfast/lunch joint.

Best bang for your buck on the island. Very good home cooking comfort food. With a Twist. The two boys are excellent hosts and it's a really chill location. A must when you're in the ancient city

Excellent LOCAL spot in st Augustine. As an out of towner it reminds me of the service you would receive at a cozy local spot, everyone is treated exactly the same. I LOVED it. Coffee(iced latte) was excellent, smoothie was great. We had the breakfast bowl and a bagel and both were very good. Loses a star only bc of the styrofoam cup LOL

I was in town for a retreat and needed a good local breakfast place. I was told about Zaba’s and I am so glad I checked it out. For 3 mornings I felt like I was apart of their community. Their food was down-home amazing, Brandon’s conversation was warm and friendly and super affordable. When I’m in town I will be a regular.

Amazing staff, and great food at really good prices. I highly recommend stopping by if you on vacation or just having a day at the beach. Parking lot has plenty of space infront of there building as well.

Not much seating inside tho so only small groups of two people for each of the 3 tables they gave inside. They mostly do carry out.

Great location just steps to St. Augustine Beach, easy access, best staff serving simple, affordable fresh breakfast. Flavorful coffees, iced and lattes. I enjoyed the breakfast sandwich egg, cheddar on a fresh bagel, Tom had the sausage gravy biscuit with 2 sunny side up eggs, he loved it. Dog friendly outside seating areas. Good selection of Zaba’s hot, mild sauce and mustard. Wish they could move away from styrofoam cups, definitely returning.

Just happened to stroll into this place looking for breakfast last week. We were greated like old friends. We got the breakfast bowl which is a nice twist on mixing common breakfast foods together. Excellent. We were advised to try the breakfast burrito so we came back and glad we did. Probably the best breakfast burrito I've ever had. The restaurant is small with just a few tables but the signs on the wall need to be read for a good laugh. Most importantly one of the owners, Brandon, gave me hot peppers from his personal stash to add to my food. As a hot pepper freak, it was exhilarating and touched my heart. LOL. I forget the name of the pepper but apparently they only grow in Spain and St Augustine Florida. Thanks Brandon. Both times I got the mocha latte. They make it fresh in shop and do a great job. 6 stars for these guys. We'll be back for sure. Again and again. And so should you.

Cute local brunch spot. I enjoyed the breakfast sandwich with home fries ( home fries were delicious and perfectly seasoned ). Hubby got the Cuban sandwich and couldn't stop raving about it. Don't skip out on the grilled donut, it works and is totally delicious. Not a lot of inside sitting space but they have a cute outside with 2 or so benches so it's fine.

11/10! Yes, eleven out of ten. This place had great lattes, and great food. We both got the breakfast burrito, and my bf made it "disco" with potato and salsa. I haven't had a breakfast burrito this good in a while, it wasn't soggy and it was packed, and everything was cooked perfectly inside. I got the iced latte with toffee nut and my bf got the hot latte with salted caramel. The employees were all amazing and we had a sparkling coverdation about Salvador Dali, whom Brandon(Brenden?) was very knowledgeable about. I'll definitely be coming back and bringing all my friends here too. The prices were amazing, for the amount of food and quality thar you get. Plus the outside seating is great, and indoor is nice because all the decor is really interesting. Please give this place a try!

Great little spot(tiny little Gem) we stopped at for breakfast on our way through. I believe the owner (very friendly) was who took our order and he takes your food order 1st and then takes your drink order. This place is wonderful. I’m staying at the Airbnb above the place and decided to check it out. So glad I did the sunshine bowl with both is amazing the flavor is all there. I also got the Brandon special coffee which was good as well. Brandon was great food came out quickly and the place was filled with tons of cute coffee decor. I will be back tomorrow!

Smoothest Espresso I think I’ve ever had. Sandwiches are excellent! Don’t forget the sauces! Pro tip: Get the fried doughnut and top it with the jelly pepper sauce.

A little hole in the wall located right across from the beach. Brandon is such an amazing guy, and has a love for what he does. The food is amazing, the atmosphere is cozy and you’ll leave there with a friend. Make sure you try their mustard, yum!
