The food was spectacular, I’ve never had sushi that was so fresh and tasty. The service is so friendly and very quick. The ambience of the restaurant was very classy and cultured. I would 10/10 recommend going here and bringing some friends with you as well.

Our rolls were very good quality, but the calamari was sadly overcooked. I was thrilled to see it had tentacles, but they were inedible having been in the fryer too long. Service was quick (ex calamari came out after sushi rolls), & restaurant was clean. Not the best we had, but certainly not the worst.

What a lovely and charming place. Greeted right away, free appetizer. Wonderful selection. Read the reviews. The one stars are ridiculous for giving one stars. We live up the road and will definitely be back again…and again.

Wife and I looked forward to going. It's by the grocery store and also we were on our way to Bronx pizza and decided to go here. Mistake. The food was just not our cup of tea. The staff was stellar just the food was off for me. The free cooked sushi roll and clear soup was a nice touch. Ordered the hamachi kama and spicy yellowtail jalapeno sushi roll which I thought were the stars of the meal. The vegetable fries rice was bland and literally had three small chunks of egg in it. The vegetables weren't your typical in friend rice. Cucumbers and broccoli. I had a Toro sushi piece and it was OK. We had a fire tuna roll that the texture and taste was off. Tasted not as fresh as it could be. I probably wouldn't comeback unless for the kama.

Happy we found this restaurant. The food was delicious ! Rainbow Naruto and hamachi yellow fine Tuna were excellent as well as the holiday roll. The combination fried rice was really good. My 12 years old had 2 orders of the California Rolls that were also really nice. Our server was friendly and friendly easy going. We’ll definitely go back and would highly recommend. This was a a great decision for getting food with the fam on vacation at St. Augustine. We dined in and the kids just loved it, including my husband and I. We had great service, it was enjoyable and extremely tasty as well. Will come here again next year!

This place was absolutely wonderful. Sushi was reasonablely fair in price. They give clear soup complimentary and a fried crab cream cheese thing. The sushi was fresh and taste amazing. We even got bubble tea to go.

We are locals and have been ordering here every week for over a year. Sushi Zento is our go to, everytime, because they are consistent and delicious. Thank you for being awesome! We get the loveboat for 2 and an order of eel sushi and we have never been dissapointed. Ginger dressing is amazing! There is a reason we come every week. Thank you!

Tried the crazy girl, tiger eyes and the sweetheart rolls with my wife. Our favorites were the tiger eyes and crazy girl. Complimentary holiday roll and miso soup were nice touches. Would definitely go back.

I have been a customer for over five years. If there was an issue, the owners are very proactive and listen to any concerns. The restaurant and bathrooms are clean, and service / food quality is superb. I look forward to my next meal at Sushi Zento.

We tried to dine in. We were seated at a table after waiting at the hostess stand for 5 minutes. Then, we sat at our table for 15 minutes. Waiters walked by and did not even acknowledge us. It wasn't until we were walking out the door that a waitress offered to wait on us. No thanks! We won't be back.

From the moment we entered, the service was spectacular, the attention and the presentation of the food was excellent.

When we’re being seated another server was complaining to our server why she hasn’t cleaned up the table during the hour break period between 3-4 on Monday. She said she was tired from having to deal with a women with 6 kids and that she only left a 16$ tip ( I don’t know the total price of the meal). While we’re seated we didn’t receive straws or utensils/ chop sticks. When our food showed up we’re not given separate tiny plates for soy sauce or shrimp sauce. Was a very unpleasant experience I noticed how on the door they’re asking for new servers. I don’t know what’s happened to this place I was here a year ago and it was amazing since they’ve changed staff the servers and food is smaller quality.

Do not go here!!! Horrible horrible experience and one of the worst I’ve ever had!!!! Complete chaos with idiots running around in circles and no clue what’s going on!!!! Something is wrong with their ratings also as if you look at their reviews it does not line up as so many complaints on here. Y’all read the reviews

My two sons and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal. It was both delicious and reasonably priced. We had several sushi rolls and the filet mignon hibachi. All was great.

Got Do Bomb roll (my favorite) and shrimp hibachi lunch. Recently went again and tried the shrimp fried rice which I liked better than the hibachi bc I like a lot of rice. I haven't been disappointed with anything I've gotten from there. I always get take out because I have a newborn and it's so easy to order online and go pick up. Definitely a hidden gem 💎

Hands down best sushi I have had ever. Quality is amazing and prices are pretty good for sushi especially at that quality! They were very welcoming and our waitress Poi was very sweet and attentive!!! She even brought over a complimentary sushi roll which was their holiday roll and it was so good! They had excellent bubble tea, and their fried ice cream was the best I’ve had yet! 10/10, would recommend and most definitely go again

The waiter was soooo nice. She even taught my brother maderin! The gyoza was decadent with a savory and salty inside. The sweet sauce was a perfect to top it off. The dough was stretchy and perfect. We also got complimentary fried crab. I got the Teriyaki steak. It came on a steaming platter and I felt so special. Like it was my birthday. It was enough to make a grown man cry. It came with some Fried rice wincing was a little bland, but suited well with the steak. It was sweet and a little Carmely along with the juicy vegetables. It was quite delectable. Give the server a raise. I love her so much!! Anyway great place you must come or I’m forcing you 😀

Had a large party for dine in dinner the other night. The staff were more than accommodating and the food was spectacular.

Sushi Zento is extremely consistent with the service and their food! It’s always one of my Go To ### spots for either lunch or dinner is It’s always cooked perfectly and the sushi is always fresh. They also give you a nice little crab fried appetizer thing which is delicious along with the soup and salad, so win-win all around highly recommended.

Best Sushi we had so far in the US.

This was our first time and it was delightful. Our server, Annie was efficient, kind, attentive and all around wonderful. Food was excellent and atmosphere was perfect. Very clean and nicely decorated. Would have been nice if they had a full bar. We will be back.

This was so good and all I can say is don't walk... Run to this little place. Every one of us enjoyed our meal. The food was fresh and good and the server was sweet as could be! We went at lunch time.

This has become one of favorite places. They have their own boba! It's amazing. Their food is nicely portioned and has tasted yummy the last two times we have been. We got the teriyaki chicken with a side of rice, edamame, yaki soba and the boba! All delicious. The music is awesome not too loud but enough to hear it and be a relaxing atmosphere. They have some tvs as well so it's nice to watch a game or see a movie playing.

Best restaurant in town !! I work on the plaza and go there all the time ! The sfaff is nice and the owner is the best ! They treat you like family ! Best food in town.

Lovely sushi restaurant in a large Publix shopping center. You've got plenty of parking, lots of tables in a beautifully decorated interior, awesome service, and excellent food. Definitely ticks all the boxes! Everything we tried was perfect, from the sushi, to the soup, to the hibachi, to the boba. This is definitely a place we will go back to!

This was our first meal in St Augustine Beach. We were tired after long drive from SC and hungry. The place is unassuming from the outside. Inside, it's chic with cozy booths and gleaming marble floors. Our server was friendly and efficient. We were greeted with complimentary appetizers and soup. The Hibachi scallops were amazing! It included delicious seared scallops, vegetables, noodles, fried rice. Generous portions. Flavors spectacular! This appears to be very authentic Japanese. We had an amazing dinner for two for around $35. Recommend!!!

Wasn't bad but artificial crab, so not right what you want for Sushi but a quick bite yes.

Coming from Los Angeles we have been searching for our sushi spot in Saint Augustine. Happy to say we found it! Just shared a sushi dinner that was plentiful and delicious. The sashimi and sushi was very fresh and expertly sliced, the rolls had creative touches, and the presentation was amazing! Impress your date and order The Love Boat.

Some of the best Japanese food I have had.

This is a delightful place tucked away at Anastasia Plaza that brings even more to the Island. I definitely recommend this place for people who want to try to get into sushi as well. The sushi chefs can fulfill almost any request. They offer hibachi with plenty of sides to satiate your appetite. My favorite hibachi is the hibachi vegetable with tofu added!

This was the only Japanese restaurant in the St. Augustine area that serves Hamachi Kama.

The hibachi is very good along with the sushi. What else could you ask for!

Food is the best I've had in St. Augustine, and I've tried many restaurants over the years. Me and my teenagers just keep going back. They are busy, but it is totally worth whatever wait you have. Yum!

Omg this was the best experience our server Stephanie was outstanding. The food was amazing it was my husbands birthday dinner and let me tell you he was overjoyed with the friendly people. They brought out a free dessert for him that he was so surprised. I can’t say enough great things about this place just amazed at the quality of the food and Stephanie even got a 50% tip from us we never tip that much but she was sooooo worth it. Thank you you for making this such a wonderful experience. See you on our next trip to st Augustine.

This was one of the best experiences I've had at a sit down restaurant. Our server was great. They brought out free appetizers the minute we sat down and the sushi, hibachi and dessert was awesome. Fantastic.
