Aw yeah! First and foremost, amazing food with great portions for a fair price! As an out of towner, hours in Ketchikan are awful and unreliable. BUT NOT HERE! AJ’s has convenient hours and fantastic 🍔burgers, milkshakes are just as good. No indoor seating like the pictures show though but there are picnic tables outside you can use.

Family owned! Great people & service. The food is cooked by order so it’s fresh every time. Most definitely a go to burger spot! Homemade sauces! I love everything about this place.

I’ve grown up on this food and they are an important part of this community! The food and atmosphere is always 10 stars and we’re always welcomed with warm smiles and delicious food! Keep it up!

A seemingly random burger joint on the side of the road that serves quick and delicious meals. Most people order ahead for takeaway. There are outdoor venues with views of the water but you're exposed to the elements. Food was really good. We had the halibut fish and chips for roughly $30 - comes with 5 pieces and fries.

Great burger and fish, very friendly service from man taking orders (owner I believe). My wife couldn't finish the fist meal as it was too large. Being right on the water it has a beautiful view. The only negatives - the price seemed high for a food truck ($48 for a couple with no drinks). We arrived a half hour before they closed so we were still eating when closing occurred. I didn't think that would be an issue with a food truck in an open parking lot but a female employee made it clear to us to leave immediately.

Hands down best burger I have ever had. And I have had a lot at 53 years old. Loved it! Loved it! Freaking Loved it.

Drove all the way from New Mexico to have the AJ Burger, and it's totally worth every mile - Awesome food!

From the outside it may look like a Hi-vis storage container with a porch. However, on the inside delicious and creative food is being prepared. We watched the water while we waited for our food to be delivered to our window! Big meaty chicken strips with a full batch of fries underneath made for an awesome meal! 10 out of 10! We will be visiting again next time!

Burgers are smaller than they used to be. Took the family there to eat and they charged us for a double burger instead of the single we ordered, so doubled the price. When we asked about it they said they'd refund the extra that was charged back to our card. Find out today, he charged us again instead of refunding. Look at your receipts.

The food is delicious. I'm from out of town in North Carolina, for the food selection and price that was the best little spot I would stop at. AJ's offers a 20% military discount to active duty and retired veterans. That blew me away. They are extremely nice and courteous. They offer American hand sign language. Also, they will also bring your food to your car. Over on the left side from where you order they also have another selection of different style of burgers. You won't be disappointed

This was my first experience at this place since I first moved here 4 years ago. Ordered my 1/2 pound burger with bacon, white cheese, grilled mushrooms and onions. Then added fries. And no drink. The bill came to a little over $20.00. Kinda expensive, but isn't everything right now? And it was a darn good burger that disappeared fast, and he brought it out to my car piping hot, so they get 5 stars. I would definitly come back.

The Gold Rush is pretty much the best thing on earth! Fast service and have yet to have anything from AJ's we didn't love.

Loyal costumer for life! I LOVE their online order system or calling in a order and picking up on my way home. I don’t think you can go wrong with any of their burgers but their fried Mac and Cheese is my sons favorite. My husband and I love their Mac Mamas, Good Rush, and Western. Biggest compliment I can give is they are always consistent, friendly, remember their costumers. They even once messed up on my husbands order (we noticed but didn’t mind) found him on Facebook and wanted to make it right. Of course we were fine and didn’t mind. However that extra step made me the fan I am. I rather call in a order at AJs and pick it up on my way home then waste anytime in the fast food drive through.

Okay, so now I have eaten here 4 times this week. My pants no longer fit correctly, there is an unfamiliar interaction happening with my belt when I sit down, my new ambition on this little island is to try the whole menu. So far, It is all good! If you are having trouble deciding, order The 'big boy' It is a simple burger, but it will show you why i love this establishment. Trust me.

Fries and tartar sauce are amazing! Burgers were great fish and chips the fish had too much breading it tasted more like a hush puppy. They put Cajun seasoning on their fries which is my absolute favorite!

Best food I've eaten from a container van ;-) Burgers were seriously great. I'm born and raised in Southeast, and grew up with Ketchikan as a school adversary. AJ's has me looking forward to future visits to "SKetchikan" ;-)

Living in Ketchikan means that you're limited in your options of dining, but AJ's is one of the best options. On the side of Tongass highway, about a minute from Walmart is the little roadside stop that offers a variety of burgers, sandwiches, sides, and more for a good price. Ordering was simple and the food was ready within ten minutes. I liked the heated dining area that also offers a good view of the environment.The food was great and the service was awesome, my favorite menu item is the Mac Daddy Burger.

Burgers are fabulous...the fries were pretty good, they give you alot even for a small. We also tried the mozzarella sticks which I would definitely try again. Parking can be strategic since there's room for about 7 cars. Will spend close to $15pp if you add in drinks

Just moved to Ketchikan from California (Bay Area/San Jose), and I'm pretty confident that AJ's has better burgers than any of the restaurants I've been to in "The Bay". Love the food, service, prices, and the view. They have a large variety of food which makes it easy for groups of people with different food preferences. The "dining in" area is heated with music and has great views. It's now my favorite food place on the island!

Went to AJ's tonight and ordered some food to go. It was our first experience and it turned out great!! Delicious, hot and fresh!! My husband and daughter had burgers. They both said they were impressed with the taste and quality! I had the Gold Rush. Amazing!! Reasonably priced! Would highly recommend!!!

I recently moved to Ketchikan, and Google recommended this hole-in-the wall place by the ocean. I ordered the 1/2 pound Marshall burger. There was a long wait but it was worth it, it was possibly the biggest burger I've ever had meat-wise. They weren't kidding about 1/2 lbs! The meat was flavourful and juicy. Probably about the best burger you can expect to get in small-town Alaska.

It's my new favorite place on the island. Unlike most other food options on the island, it's not super overpriced and the food is better than most other places.

I simply asked if they offer gluten free buns, and to my surprise they did! Their beef is top notch, disregard that one review saying they are preformed. Definitely not, I see these folks every morning on my coffee run picking up their day supply at the store. I have also come by mid afternoon when they are using this cool press machine to form the perfect patty. If you are into fish their halibut is delicious and fresh! Great prices here! Hands down this family loves what they do, and they try to accommodate every need possible. I missed Rose's when it was destroyed, but the fact that they came back from a hardship shows true character! They have my respect and business for as long as I am here.

If your here in town you better come here, a fresh burger and fresh bun for it has changed over the year, the burgers are not your small McDonald's size but large and wholesome food. The fries are nice and large and yummie. The burgers are the best in town and would highly suggest dining here. Also a perfect place to drink a milkshake and watch AS take off and land

This place was a total surprise! AJ's is a little food trailer on the side of the road in Ketchikan. The location was awesome because it looks out over the water. But that's not the best part! Their burgers are amazing! Not what I was expecting from a food trailer. They were super juicy and all the toppings were fresh. The fried mushrooms were delicious as well. I also got the clam chowder which was very tasty. The staff was super friendly as well.

Had a grilled halibut burger and a chocolate shake and it was awesome!
