Food was great, hot,cooked fresh. Prices are pretty descent as well. The girl behind the counter had to be new, seemed like she was learning. She had a hard time hearing, didn't know how to swipe a card yet, she was very polite. The woman cooking seemed frustrated or stressed. It was only them two, luckily it wasn't busy. Our food came out fast, and it was delicious.

Great bread, great meats, great cheeses, what more do you need to hear? Also, I never thought my favourite meatball of all time would be a chicken meatball, but here we are.

My wife's and my 1st time to Albelo's...it won't be our last. Two super subs, chips, and two drinks. Absolutely superb...wonderful hospitality from the owner and very professional staff!

Literally the best subs I’ve had in a very long time. Run don’t walk to Albelo’s! I had the Cuban and it was absolutely delicious filled with meat. My husband ordered a turkey sub and it was fresh, tasty and delicious. The bread they serve is so fresh and soft. Highly recommend this place!!

Great food. The Cuban 12 inch was split between me and my gf with an order of loaded fries and we couldn't eat everything. Sandwich was loaded and delicious ame with the fries

I have to express my extreme disappointment with the service I have received from Beth. Every time I have been in there, she has greeted me with nasty looks and a terrible attitude. Despite being a paying customer who has always raved about the food not only to her but the people around me, I've received undeservedly rude treatment. My friends and family have been in there with me and they agree and have witnessed this indiscretion. Moreover, I've also overheard her making insulting remarks about other customers to her employees, which is completely unacceptable. I will never step foot in that place again due to her disrespectful behavior.

Stopped in for the first time today after wanting to try this place out for awhile & it did not disappoint! Do yourself a favor & visit this place.

When I say I’ll never eat a sub from anywhere else ever again, I mean this place is amazing! The service was quick, menu easy to navigate, prices more than fair, and the best subs my wife and I have ever had! Publix next door has nothing on this! I think we found our new regular spot! Keep up the amazing work!

We each had different sandwiches. Coworker had the chicken meatball sub, said it was really tasty. I had the Italian and really enjoyed it. Bread is really good. We also had cookies, yummy! Definitely glad we stumbled upon this gem.

I found this place by searching for pierogies and was so impressed. They have great food. The place is so cute. The staff are very friendly. Prices are great. Love this place

Mistakes happen and orders get made wrong. It happens, no fault. When it is pointed out, the reply was "that's what you ordered" with a snippy attitude. No apology, only accusation, by the way we were very clear about what we ordered and it was repeated to us and clarified.. Did offer to remake it, but too late, impression already made. Walked out.

Never been here before - I wanted FRESH and that’s exactly what we got - la gringa and otra vez and the FRIES were so yummy - I’m glad we gave it a try - recommend we will be back :)

I took my mother-in-law here yesterday on our girls' day out. The staff is all really nice, the menue has lots of great options including, the Greek Chicken Sub, which is what I chose. There are a few small tables if you want to eat there. The bathrooms are kept immaculate, and on your way back, make sure to check out all the cute merch they sell. Prices are good for what you get. We both ate for just over $20 including chips and drinks.

Came in yesterday for a steak sub and when I got to work to eat it, the breadwas soaked in its juices, bread was soggy and falling apart. Couldn’t eat it, it had completely fell apart after taking 2 bites. I called to let someone know about it, and they offered to remake it or give me a refund. They remade the sandwich for me and included a delicious chocolate chip cookie. The sandwich was great. That’s how you keep a customer. I’ll be back to try new things.

Places is great need to up date the hrs open came by on Saturday and they are closed bummer

We visited during Christmas time and I'm glad we did. My family of 6 felt welcomed by the family who owns Albelo's. The food was good!! Good food, good service, and good company... what more can you ask for.

Albelo's is hands down the YUMMIEST food EVER! From the everyday menu to the cookies to the specials (Poutine), they are the spot for a happy lunch!

Very nice establishment very clean excellent service but that's where it stops it's a $9 sub it's only 8 inches and the bread is so poor and it's a very small sub sandwich for your money and the taste is lackluster. I ordered the Italian stallion and the meatball and they were both lackluster in taste.

I had the Fried Green Tomato sub. WOW!! This place is wonderful and started by a professionally trained chef.

First time at Albelo's today and I wasn't disappointed at all. Ordered the el Mexicano sub. It's carne asada, salsa, cheese, and avocado cream in a nicely toasted bun The 12" sub was more than enough to share for 2 ppl. Also had zucchini fries for the 1st time and they were fried too perfection. Not at all greasy. I will most definitely be back.

Their subs are great! We’ve been getting their subs at work since they are in a great area! If you sit in their restaurant they treat you like family and are friendly. We need more restaurants that treat you as if you’re one of them. They let us try a new menu item which we are hoping it gets added because it was bomb! Try the hangover it was good!

We bought a cuban sub better than a real cuban café and a tripleta a lot of flavor on the meat this is a awesome place to eat thank you guys for taking care of us we didn't knew in 10 mins they were closing and still we got a premier customer service and the brownie was really good.

I am always so excited to get one of their subs that I forget to take a few photos. I love this place. There menu is unique with some excellent choices. I have yet to have a sub I did not like. I am big on supporting local. You definitely need to stop in!! I also got to meet on of the owners today. He was polite and I could tell he takes pride in his shop.

They just recently opened and wow, it did not disappoint! After 10 minutes of deciding what we wanted (they have a large selection to choose from) I ordered the Italian Stallion and my wife ordered The Southern Bell in a wrap. Both sandwiches were delicious and the fries were hot and tasty as well. We definitely will be back and recommending to all our family and friends.

The sub that I got was great and the ladies were nice. I got the Equestrian and was able to substitute the ham for chicken.

Just had Albelos for the first time. The meatball sub was delicious! Also the blackberry green tea mixed with sweet tea was a great suggestion from the cashier.

Albelo’s is the best! Everything is consistently awesome. They make the best sauces in house. Top quality and diverse menu. The owners are such kind people. My young girls get so excited when we tell them we are going to Albelo’s for lunch. Honestly, I can’t pick a favorite sub. The cuban, the Philly, the Greek chicken… they are so fab. Just depends on your mood. Can’t go wrong, and you support a local family-run business. This place is a gem.

Ocala does not have many non chain sandwich places but this place is a gem. The online ordering needs a little work but food is amazing and it is great to have an alternative to publix subs. Definitely recommend. In fact the last person I recommened this place to ended up ordering a second sub for later immediately after they finished their first.

The menu is fun, fresh, and unique. Prices are reasonable. Service is nice. Our subs and wraps were amazing! Albelo's sauce was so good! Cute little hidden gem.

Came here with the boys and had an amazing meal. 5 stars all around, the hangover with the in house made garlic aioli is to die for. Will be back again and again.

This was my first time at Albelo's Sub shop, and I went with the Meat Lover's sub. It was feeding a tasty sandwich, and the ingredients were good quality. I had thought the sausage would be an Italian link-style sausage, but it was crumbled instead. That's fine, and it tasted good, just not what I expected. It could do with maybe a little less sausage and a little more pepperoni or maybe some pepperonis or jalapenos to give it a little more zing, but I would order this again. They do have a Philly Cheese steak sub on the menu that looked good except I would want to sub real cheese like provolone.

Better than I was expecting! One of my new favorite lunch spots in Ocala! Tried two different subs and the Peanut Butter Pie (SO GOOD)! We will definitely be back!

Stopped in today after seeing the menu online. I got the hangover fries and the meatball sub. It was so good. The portion was very large and very tasty. The food was absolutely amazing. I highly recommend this place!

The creativity of the menu offerings, the homemade aiolis, the excellent seasonings of the chicken, the freshness and quality of the bread, chorizo, shoestring fries and zucchini fries….PURE DELICIOUSNESS! You can tell that you are eating at an establishment that has “restaurant” in their blood! Thank you for coming to Ocala!!! I can’t wait to come back and try some other specialities that looked super yummy too!

Had the Cubano, Chorio Chicken and french fries. Go hungry! Great sandwiches, hot French fries(enough for THREE people!) Fantastic service! We will be back!

This is by far the best sub shop that I have been to! I had the veggie sub. It had grilled portabello mushrooms, zucchini, peppers, and onions with feta cheese. They seasoned the vegetables and cooked it in some kind of sauce because it was very juicy. It was soooo good! I’m so happy I discovered this local gem. 😁 The customer service is top notch too. They are very nice people.

New sub shop in Ocala! I'm so glad I stopped by. The owners are very kind and welcoming. I ordered the special of the day, the nachos and the chicken chili. Both were fantastic! I can have soup on the hottest day of the year and be just fine. I'm glad that the soup was hot, flavorful, hearty and plentiful. The nachos were homemade and the steak was cooked right in front of me. I believe in supporting local especially mom and pop businesses. Go try them out!!!

It’s clear that the owners put a lot of heart and soul into this shop. Truthfully they could charge more considering the high quality of ingredients and how well thought out the menu is, so I consider it a bargain. I was craving an Italian-style sub so I ordered the Italian Stallion and it didn’t disappoint. I love it when you don’t have to make any changes and it just comes out perfect. Going back to try the meatball sub (“Utah, gimme two!”)
