Kind of bar experience where you can bond with complete strangers, and yet still remember everything in the morning. Love this place. Dylan's a elixir wizard. Check out his latest brew! If you've never tried Kava/Kratom/Ehtnobotanicals of any kind check this place out. It'll be worth it. Might even change your life... (if Kava/Kratom isn't your thing, try their EDM w/Blue lotus, also their coffee game is extensive AF)

Fun kinda hippie hillbilly hybrid community gathering place. Dylan's always got new ethno brews. And great place for botanical teas and Kava. (I love the EDM which has Blue Lotus, if you haven't, should try it, always delicious, always high vibe). Outside area where flow night happens is a sweet spot for drum circles, and Karaoke inside as well as the EDM out, is a total blast. Thursdays 8-11, I believe ATM. Really fun atmosphere. Great hosts. Super welcoming. Higly recommend if you got the music in you. (And esp if you also love plant drinks and wizard elixirs!)

Quirky, comfortable, welcoming atmosphere. Sky will teach you all about Kava and offer several samples. My Tiramisu latte was delicious & my husband enjoyed his Mocha latte. I look forward to visiting again.

We had never had kava before, and Sky was the perfect person to walk us through it. She was bright, informative, and fabulous to talk to. She knew the product so well and described every sample. We loved the coffee-infused drink, the lemonade one (I forget the name) and the Twist of Fate! An awesome, colorful, chill atmosphere to relax in. Wish I was from Ocala so I could visit more often— will be back for sure. Hope it’s on a day Sky’s here ✨✨✨

I came here with my mom and sister for our first kava experience and Sky was so wonderful, knowledgeable, and warm! She made the experience perfect and I just wish I lived in Florida because I would be back time and time again!

Such an awesome vibe to this place and the kava is sooo tasty. Sky was super helpful and knowledgeable about all of the drinks and took plenty of time to make sure we got what we wanted. Such a great place to hang out! Will be back ❤️

Really cool place to sit and relax. The drinks are fun to try, and Dillon was so kind and informative. He made sure I was educated on what I was consuming, and catered to my special needs as a diabetic. They also sell kava to take home, which is pretty nice. I will be back to try other things. The atmosphere is very welcoming. I can appreciate that, being new to the area. I look forward to some of the events that are upcoming.

This was our second time here but our daughters first time. We enjoyed it so much that we thought let's go again. This time we brought our daughter along. Our ambassador to Kava was SKY on this night . She was awesome we all agreed. Sky took her time to explain so much and let us have samples of many drinks. Her knowledge was outstanding. We settled on our drinks and sat down to a very relaxing atmosphere The music was great and relaxing. My family and I agree this was another great experience and our daughter loved it as well. If you wish to relax from the daily hustle and bustle of daily life then stop by and relax for a bit. You won't be disappointed. Thank you Sky for a great experience.

From soup to nuts I had an amazing experience. It’s rare to find old school coffee shop with a new school feel. Dylan my server was unquestionably meant to serve. He was so helpful and did a great job helping me find the right drink. I would strongly recommend this place over a corporate spot like Starbucks or Panera. 5 stars all day. 6 if it was an option.

Really cool spot. Kavatenders are sweet and helpful. It’s unfortunate that the product is very watered down and barely gives you a high. Not to mention they charge you for “no ice”. I guess they charge you for the atmosphere experience because the product is not it. They should be giving you full oz servings without ice. That’s just my opinion. Anyways , I give an A for effort. I can see that they try , and I’m not spreading hate. Just giving some honest feedback 🙏🏼

Unique kava bar with activities such as board games, books, cards. Amazing staff and atmosphere. Organic kava really makes the difference in taste, my favorite kava bar so far.

We had an incredible experience at Muddy Lotus. It was our first time in a kava bar, and the staff was so helpful. They let us try samples (the Queen Bee is the bee's knees) and made great recommendations. Even their off-the-clock staff jumped in to help. The cookies and brownies from the Cafe across the street are amazing. And I've never had nitro this good before - not a drop of bitter. We will definitely be back every time we're in the area.

Space is cool, kavarista's know their stuff, owners are actively around, fire shows on some night.

I have really enjoyed my experience at Muddy Lotus. I have been to many kava bars in the past few years but this one has really shown an appreciation for the culture, the kavatender was very educated. I will for sure be back to the amazing vibes here.

Muddy Lotus is has a very chill, and laid back environment inside. The people are very nice. The kratom is brewed very good and so is the kava. The kava tender Dillon is awesome to talk with, and is very knowledgeable on the products available. If you're down to try something new, visit Muddy Lotus Tea!!

Muddy Lotus has a great vibe. There is a great assortment of drinks to choose from with something for everyone. The crowd is diverse and it is a great place to meet up with friends or make new ones. So glad it's here!

I went for the Drum Circle and left with a cup of Queen Bee Kava. The Drum Circle was laid back and friendly and I will definitely be going back to Drum again. The Kava Tea is, I think, an acquired taste. I enjoyed the additions that made the Queen Bee sweet, however, the straight up brew was too bitter and earthy for my tastes. The barista was a wonderful guy who let me do a little taste test and gave me a bit of education on Kava. All-in-all, a delightful way to spend an evening in Ocala.

My first time coming here and trying Kava! The space was beautiful and relaxing with lots of cool art, Dillon was super knowledgeable and kind, and the whole place felt very clean. There are plenty of places to sit without feeling crowded too! The kava flavors were interesting and fun and everyone who came in was so nice and friendly. You can feel that the staff is happy and the owners take pride in what they do/provide. My only complaint (not worth taking a star off because maybe I just missed something) is the pricing. When I looked at the board, the price seemed very reasonable ($13 ish) but when I got my check, we paid almost $80 for 4 drinks. Maybe I’m missing something? I’m not mad, just confused. I don’t know how much kava usually costs but the prices posted seemed fair if you’re coming here for the first time, just make sure you ask how much each thing is so you aren’t surprised at the end. Overall, really love it here. Will definitely be back but as more of an occasional treat. Edit after comment: I think my husband rounded up when telling me how much we spent. All of the drinks were priced correctly (I got a drink with some syrups in it and I just didn’t realize that was extra) and I told him to tip well since the service was so fabulous. No complaints here :)

Great atmosphere ✔ Friendly staff and guests ✔ Delicious Kava, kombucha, and more ✔ Some friends who I haven't seen in a LONG time recommended meeting up here to chill. It was my first time and the bartender was friendly and gave samples to help me decide. Kava was delicious. We brought a card game and found a spot in the back to chill and play and staff was super helpful. Had a great time and will definitely be back!

Cool place. Decent people. Terrible over-priced kratom tea. Tastes like chemicals or cleaner. Edit for owner's reply. We have been to multiple other kratom "bars" in FL with Lizard Juice always being best AND cheapest. You're right it was absolutely a mistake buying ourselves an extra tea each for the following day but you are welcome for the business. Even if it is certainly the last time after seeing the pretentious passive aggresive remarks on the reviews.

I come here with a few buddies every now and then and we chill and enjoy ourselves, the staff is really friendly and you can have fun with your friends

I loved everything about this place. The atmosphere was so relaxed. Staff was attentive and patient, super knowledgeable too! Made us feel at home. I had a PMS shot, delicious! And a pineapple-mango kava, then finishes my night with a mocha, all delicious! Already planning the next visit.

I am so glad I found this place! I come into town once or twice a week always craving a coffee drink but not just any coffee I’m a coffee connoisseur. Not only is it delicious but it’s organic! The staff is super friendly and they’re open late how Awesome..Super chill vibe in the place and the Mexican food truck outside was delicious. Makes my hour trip to Ocala worth the drive I’ll be back!

This is the best Tea and Kava bar ever! They really know how to customize the drink to satisfy any taste buds! I was blown away by the hospitality that Dylan provided me! I came on buy one get one free day! They will take care of you and especially if you have never been to a Kava bar before, they are patient in explaining everything and more than willing to let you sample the concoctions their minds come up with! I recommend to anyone and everyone! I came twice in one day! :)

An astonishing place. Amazingly friendly staff, extensive menu with tons of room to be curious, and a wide, wide variety of knowledgeable crowd. Strongly recommended if you're looking for a unique and relaxing experience.

This is my home away from home my favorite place to just kick back before and after work,so so so many different faces and characters come and go we all come from different backgrounds and different creeds but we all look at each other like family the owner is a beautiful soul and is always looking for new and different ways to make the atmosphere better and better the employees are 10000000/10 the best people I know I'm so thankful for taking the chance and going my first night with my best friend which is a regular Wednesday night flow night is the best Thursday night karaoke is always a blast Friday night movie/game night Saturday it's a free for all open to till late Sunday is always a quiet chill night the best way to end the weekend
