Cafe Havana has wonderful food, coffee and people. The service is always top notch here and the ambiance is laid back. They have amazing breakfast and lunch. Would highly recommend if you’re looking for fantastic Cuban food.

First timer man behind counter gave me few foods to taste I went w/ the Cuban sandwich it was pretty good price was good little busy business wanted a tray to take home my left overs was ignored or forgotten by server and the man behind the counter left my left overs and went my merry way. They also were giving out expresó shots Kinda Loud place.

The most amazing and Authentic Cuban I've had that my father didn't cook!! Truly great. If you're in the area and you don't stop here to eat, extend your arm and slap yourself!! The fried yuca, ropa vieja, and black beans are packed with traditional flavors. I will most definitely return here when I'm back in the area!

The cashier woman working in the front was extremely rude to me and others. No reason for this and she should face consequence for her unprovoked behavior. 👎👎 One person can ruin the experience.

Wow! So glad found this slice s Cuban heaven in Ocala. Was at a class around the corner and stopped in for a solo lunch, Vaca Frita with black beans and rice plus yuca. Nicely done restaurant dining area. Everything appeared very clean. Fast service at a nice price. I will certainly be back.

The coffee here is the best I have ever tasted. I am going back every morning the rest of this vacation. I had the roast pork special with coconut rice, fried plaintains, and black beans. It was so good. I haven't had anything that good since Miami. I can't wait to go back.

The Cuban 🇨🇺 was authentic, but the Roast Pork Sandwich 🤯, awesome!!! Fries were great, too! The plate lunch specials looked and smelled wonderful; hope to try them soon! You could tell serving good food was a labor of love ❤️! If you haven't tried Cuban food, make sure you try it here first 😉!

Steep prices, small portions, underwhelming flavor and taste. Owners trying to make up for the small amount of customers by short-changing you on portion sizeLimited menu changes each day. Steam tables dry out food so get there early. Im used to authentic cuban food being from south florida so this is very poorly prepared and presented, just slopped out of a steam tray table onto a plastic 3 portion plate. Very dried out and greasy and disappointing. The girl who served us did not wash your hands after stopping from washing and mopping the floor and counters to serve us. Will not go again advise you to do same, several better cuban restaurants locally.

Fast & friendly service, perfectly seasoned food at a great price, large full of flavor (did I mention how amazing everything tasted?) portions, and topped off with a complimentary shot of Cuban coffee. I'm telling everyone how great Cafe Havana is!!

This was the absolute WORST Service ever The food was pretty good but the service was really bad the girl kept saying hello to us and in the meanest way she knew we were on the phone she was acting like I was an adult I’m not! It was Way too crowded people were looking at me up-and-down they acted like my sister was going to pay she isn’t our grandma is paying! TRY ME!

Great food and lots of it. Been twice and my better half rarely goes to same restaurant. She loves this place and the people behind the counter are excellent. Different dishes are available everyday. Lunch gets busy for a reason because the food is amazing.

Went here for coffee, it was busy but not over crowded. The owner/staff were nice and the coffee was great. I didn't get food this time but I think I'll come back to try it, everything smelt so good.

The best cuban food and coffee in ocala!! I am obsessed with their shredded beef and shredded pork. The chickpea or red beans are the best sides and the plantains are a great way to end each meal. My only complaint is I can't eat here on weekends or for dinner.

Great place with excellent food and courteous staff. I was offered a shot of coffee as I waited in line, a very thoughtful gesture and it was delicious! Only negative was this very small man named Patrick who started crying loudly as he ordered. I thought he was a baby who was lost but he was actually just a little crying man.

This place is way over priced for coffee. I live in south Florida and a coffee con leche isn’t more than 3 bucks. This place charges 4.50… that’s crazy. And they charge you to use your credit or debit card. This place is ridiculous. It’s not fair to charge hipsters coffee shop prices when there is nothing special about Cuban coffee… this dude is going to run his business into the ground. Update: I just drank my coffee con leche and it sucked… it just tasted like warm milk. Dude! Learn how to me to make coffee!!!

Primo, Acabo de encontrar la mejor comida Cubana en Florida Central, mi nuevo lugar favorito para comer. Todo es authentic y cocinado a la perfecciòn. El propietario es muy amble y, absolutamente, cada miembro de su personal lo trata como a una familia. Oh wow, the food is just absolutely mind-blowing, like out of this world. But you know what's even more incredible? The oh-so-convenient operating hours! They are just oh-so amazing, I can't even contain my excitement. And don't even get me started on their flawless communication about whether or not they'll be open. It's like a thrilling game of chance every time you want to visit. They claim to be open from 7:30 to 3:00, but who knows when they'll actually be welcoming customers? It's like a tantalizing mystery! And just when you think you've found the solution, they'll surprise you by closing unexpectedly or opening whenever the heck they feel like it. Such spontaneity, it's truly admirable! Calling them is just an absolute dream as well. They've mastered the art of completely ignoring every phone call imaginable. It's quite a talent, isn't it? So yeah, no need to rely on those archaic means of communication when they can just leave you hanging indefinitely. How delightful!

Awesome food, seriously everything I have had is soo good, and such good portions! Vaca frita, Ropa vieja, marsala chicken all excellent. The fried Yucca is delicious. Everyone there is so on top of service also. I was working across the street for a week and a half, the whole crew walked across the street every day! Lol I tried to order a Cuban one and I was told "No!" Your working hard over there you need real food! So I ended up with Vaca frita! And of course they were right! Definitely try it if you are anywhere close

All in all a superb experience! Genuine Cuban food at a reasonable price. We ordered the lunch specials...Super friendly service, fast and above all the food was great. Cafe Havana should be on your list when in Ocala and are looking for some delicious food.

I had the Ropa Vieja with rice and it was very good. Also, the shot of cafe con Leche after my meal was the perfect cap off.

Whatever you think you want to eat, order 3 more things. It's so insanely delicious. And the milkshakes made with water!! We did guava, passionfruit and mango and all 3 were spectacular. And the tres leches cake. And the picadillo. And the empanadas. And the Cuban. And the coconut rice and chickpeas...♡♡♡♡♡. I wish we lived in Florida I would be here every week.

The food here is delicious! We tried the roast pork platter, Piccadillo platter, Cuban sandwich, and cafe con leche. The servings are huge and the food was so hot and fresh. The staff is super nice and gave out samples of coffee. It was truly the best Cuban food I’ve ever had.

Really love the roast pork with the onion and chicharrones, the shredded beef and the different pastries. Nothing comes out dry or too tough or underseasoned, everything is top notch and compares favorably to some of the better places in Tampa and elsewhere. Staff is very friendly and remembers your favorites.

Dejamos el auto arreglando y nos recomendaron este lugar. Realmente no me impresionó tanto. No tiene un menú tan amplio así que solo pedí un desayuno sencillo. Mi esposo pidió un sándwich. Cuando fuimos no había casi nadie pero tardaron mucho para servir. En otras palabras: no me llama la atención para volver.
