The food is unbelievable. The best korean I've had. Huge servings. Very little seating but it's a gas station not a resteraunt. I've had everything on their menu and they have all been excellent.. even the taco.

Traveled to Ocala for a dr visit and found this highly rated Korean hole on the wall. Don't let the gas station convenient store fool you , it's better than most Korean restaurants in Tampa. We ordered a variety of dishes to try out for lunch and take home. chicken curry 5/5 has a balanced amount of flavor but not too spicy just how I like it . Seafood pancake 5/5 was my favorite! I can't pinpoint the ingredients but this was the most authentic tasting pancake I've ever had. Packed with so much flavor and although the pancake is somewhat mushy in texture and not crispy , the flavor makes up for the texture. Fried mandu 5/5 was perfect and not oily . Beef bulgogi 4/5 looked and tasted as homemade as it can get . Least favorite was the kimbap 2/5 it just tasted bland with unseasoned vegetables. They ran out of the Galbi and the fried chicken, which is the two best sellers and what we were looking forward to savor .

Had the tacos. Chicken, beef & pork. Delicious and made fresh when ordered. Everyone is always friendly.

Looove their food. Veggies are super fresh. This place falls under the "do not judge a book by its cover" because everything I've ordered from here has been on point. Other glitzy, restaurants may be impressive on the outside but food can be so so.. Haerom is amazing. Five thumbs up!

Found this place by accident going back to Leesburg. Best Korean food since I left Hawaii 3 yrs ago. Things made fresh on the spot with reasonable prices. Love their fried rice dishes. 👍🏼

This is no ordinary gas station. Haeorum is located inside and boasts fresh made, traditional Korean food and some mixed culinary comfort foods like tacos too. Not only was the food amazing and incredibly filling, but there were a few tables and chairs indoors to eat comfortably too. Can the Sunoco by me offer this too? 🤤

This little place is tucked away and easy to pass over.. don't sleep on this place it's food is amazing. Just happen to pass by to get an energy drink and ordered some beef fried rice... man it's so good

I was a little nervous about stopping here for food today because the gas station building it is located in looks a little rough, but with all the great reviews I decided to take a chance and I am glad I did! I had a bulgogi and kimchi quesadilla and it was amazing! It wasn’t too spicy and the bulgogi was very tender and not dry. It came with a side of spicy mayo and a crispy egg roll. I would definitely stop here to try more of their menu options if I am in the neighborhood again. There is no seating available, so it is definitely a takeout place. Highly recommend!

Best Korean food I've had in the US. The dukbokki is not to be missed. We also had the kimchi fried rice and mandu. Everything was fantastic, I wish I was in town longer I really wanted to try the hot bob. The prices are also super reasonable for the portion sizes. Thank you!

Certainly one of Ocala's hidden gems! I have extremely high standards for Korean food and wasn't disappointed. The kimchi and the kimchi fried rice were among the best I've had anywhere. I will definitely be returning any time I come to visit Ocala.

This restaurant is located in a gas station and get plenty of business. You can order ahead by calling and it’s ready in about 15 minutes, even on lunch time. Everything I have tried has been amazing, including the egg rolls and fried dumplings. Everything is fresh and amazing every time Im here. There is high quality food with authentic ingredients and cooking methods. You won’t be disappointed. There are maybe 10 seats inside to sit and plenty of Korean and American drinks to pick from inside.

If I lived near here I would come here every week! Absolutely fantastic food.

The warm and friendly atmosphere, along with the delicious food, kept me coming back. However, my recent experience has left me greatly disappointed and unwilling to return. The sisters who usually manage the front counter and take orders have always made me feel valued as a customer. Unfortunately, a younger brother has now taken over customer interactions, and his attitude is both short and rude. This sudden change in customer service has been a significant letdown for me and my companions. When I confronted the younger brother about his behavior and expressed concern about the impact on the sisters' hard-earned relationships with customers, he displayed a complete lack of care and even laughed it off. He made an apology, it felt insincere and failed to resolve the issue. It is disheartening to witness how one individual's actions can potentially ruin the excellent reputation and efforts that this family has built over the years. Haeorum restaurant offers amazing food, and it's a shame that such a negative experience with the younger brother has overshadowed that. Regrettably, given the poor customer service and the negative encounter with the younger brother, I will not be returning to Haeorum restaurant anytime soon. I hope that the family takes notice of these concerns and takes appropriate actions to rectify the situation. Customers should feel valued and appreciated, as they are the lifeblood of any business. In conclusion, while the food at Haeorum restaurant remains outstanding, the decline in customer service due to the younger brother's behavior has left me with a sour taste. I hope that the family can address this issue promptly and restore the welcoming and friendly atmosphere that made this restaurant so special to me. Best Korean food I have had in North Central Florida!! Bibimguksu is perfectly refreshing on a hot day. The fried chicken has some of the best batter I have ever had

We were really hungry after hitting the adventure park nearby. Not sure if it was cause we were super hungry or the food was really delicious but it was so good and we loved it. Our server gary helped us through the menu he was super friendly and it was fun to practice my Korean

Tried Haeorum today and to say the least it was Amazing Korean food! Everything is priced super affordable. Everything is also Cooked fresh and to perfection the workers are very nice and cordial🙌🏼the convenience store area is super cool and filled with so many goodies somewhat like a Korean convenience store. Everything in there is awesome my husband and I wanna become regulars so we can try everything on the menu eventually☺️definitely give it a try!

Absolutely random location for a Korean place but if you're ever craving it... This is a great place to go. I got the Korean short ribs, it comes with some rice, radishes, and broccoli, and it was all cooked to perfection. The gas station that it's connected to might look very concerning but my wife and I went in and we saw a super sweet Korean family working inside. For it being the only Korean food closest to the Villages, it's worth checking it out since they don't seem to be very popular around here. They have a super small sitting area inside of the gas station if you choose to eat there and they sell a couple random Asian (mostly Korean) products on their shelves. Support small business!!

Fresh, simple and solid meal. I'm glad a buddy recommended this off the beaten path spot. Chicken wings were a surprisingly tasty start: thick, sweet sauce on big wings. Hot Bob and Bibimbap were full of flavor and made for great leftovers. This restaurant is in a convenience store . Top 2 of any gas station meals I've eaten. Boudin in a Louisiana stop is the only other in the running. Look forward to visiting again, maybe try some extra hot.

I spent a month in South Korea so I eat here when I'm feeling nostalgic. Yesterday I ordered a kimchi pancake, Bul Bob, kimbap and egg rolls to eat over the next couple days. It was SO GOOD! I was happy to see that they take debit cards now. I showed the man at the counter a picture of a snack I loved in SK and he said he would try to order it. It's a special place.

The food is fresh and tasty at a no frills location. So grateful to have eaten here. If you don't stop by then you'll be missing out.

I’ve traveled the world and it’s little places like this that I fall in love with. Easily my favorite place to eat in Marion county. I come here on my birthday for lunch. Slightly unusual location but the food, oh boy. I’ve probably tried everything on the menu. Fresh, flavorful, with real ingredients. If you don’t know much about Korean food have a conversation with the lovely lady behind the counter. Let them know what you do and don’t like and you’ll get it figured out.

Got bul bob (beef bulgogi dish) and kimbap (Korean maki, basically) to go yesterday. The food came out quickly (I was given a 10 to 15 wait time) but it was ready in about 8. Both were delicious. Prices are reasonable and they are nice people. The place is not fancy but don’t let that stop you from enjoying their food.

Been open for about 6 years, went about 4 and was very good just quite a haul, went back today and the food was AWESOME, they tweaked the recipes and made it so hard to order we ended ordering 4 different items. The kimbap was warm with just the right amount of sesame, the vegetable Japchae noodles were the best we ever had and stayed steaming hot, the bibimbap tofu was so good my husband didn't share and then we ordered the curry, which reminded me of my mom's growing up. SOOOO GOOOOD!!!!! Only negative is it is in a gas station lol

It's inside of a convenience store so not really no atmosphere but the food is absolutely delicious. I just found this Lil gem of a place. The store itself has a wonderful selection of Korean foods & these wonderful lil banana 🍌 puffs that I love. Give em a try.

It was nice to be able to taste Korean food in a quiet neighborhood. The taste of the food is also full of sincerity. And most of all, I liked the friendly smile and attentive guidance of the counter girl. This is a shop you want to stop by every time you pass by.

UPDATE: our recent visit was another great experience. Part of me wants them to open a big restaurant, but the other half loves going to a gas station, such great memories of similar spots in SK.--- Absolutely stellar South Korean cuisine and it is authentic. I have spent significant time in SK, so I do know that the food here takes me back to restaurants in Jeju or Busan. Incredibly friendly family is so nice and helpful Hope to see you soon! As others have said. Don't let this place being part of a gas station throw you. This is legitimate real korean food. I ordered for pickup and arrived at my designated time. The food was ready and they double checked if I wanted anything else before letting me go. The wings are heavy on the sauce but not runny the sweet and savory flavors were exactly what you expect In a korean wing. The cutlet even after driving 30 minutes home maintained its crispy crust and was moist inside. Saving the best for last. THIS KIMCHI RIGHT HERE the perfect flavor profile, tender, yet crispy, veg and the right amount of spice. I don't do this often but two bites in I called and let them know this is the best most authentic kimchi I have had in years. They were extremely greatful and said it made their day. They deserve every bit of praise they are getting. I will be back.

Amazing Korean food! Fast, insanely delicious, and reasonably priced. Feels like dining at a convenience store in Korea, so it was like experiencing a K-drama first-hand. Easy to get gluten free and vegan options by request, we found. (Though if you like meat, the bulgogi is the stuff of dreams.) Tables were clean and spacious though folding style.

A hidden gem! It’s a small mom-and-pop restaurant that is completely hidden! The food is absolutely delicious, very well priced, great customer service! I can’t say enough how good the food is! When pulling up to the restaurant/gas station I was alarmed but came In and ordered and the food it’s cooked on the Spot and again so delicious! I’ll definitely be coming back!

This place is one of our absolutell favorites. We travel from citrus county to get it. I crave their stuff often. We have had the highest rated Korean in Gainesville and this place beats them all out. Plus they're all so nice!

I have been eating at Haeorum for almost 5 years now, anywhere from 1 to 4 times a month. 3 years in a row I made sure to eat here on my birthday! Everyone that works here is so kind! I no longer live right in town. but I still try to go every couple months. especially to restock up on a large kimchi container! You can order a side of kimchi, medium size or a large container of kimchi, which is about a quart size I believe. not only do they sell the best food in town (my personal opinion) but they also try to carry stuff in the store, such as ramen, drinks, health drink plus snacks, candies, and cooking ingredients. I hope to visit South Korea one day, and to explore and experience, all that it has to offer! Until then and ALWAYS Haeorum will be my go to place!

I was in here a week ago getting gas and thought to myself, "Who would ever trust food from this place." Then, in a fit of hunger, I was looking at places to grab a quick bite by me and couldn't help but notice how great the reviews were. So I figured why the hell not, and I'm so happy I did. Now I think, "Why wouldn't you trust food from this place!" It really is such a cool little find in Ocala. I highly recommend giving it a try!
