Very good arepas! We ordered shredded chicken arepas with maduros, cheese and their homemade sauce, absolutely delicious, we wanted to rewind and eat it again 🤤 the service was attentive and kind. Family oriented atmosphere, cute small but roomy indoor space to eat. Thank you!

Soooo. This was my first time coming here. My family is new to Newberry and I was literally browsing the web for food near me. I came across this magnificent place and decided try it due to all of the good reviews. Man!!! I am sooo happy I tried it! The staff were so polite and welcoming. They asked me if was my first time and recommended a few menu items. I went with the fried arepa with steak and a side of sweet plantain. OMG! When I tell you that’s the most flavorful delicious food I’ve had in a while!!! Words can’t describe how good this food is! You just have to try it! I will definitely be coming back to try EVERYTHING on the menu!

The restaurant is right on SW 250th St, so pay attention not to miss it. I've been here three times. Never missed. Atmosphere: incredible. You can taste the love as you savor each bite. If you're ever in the area (and even if you're not, it's worth the drive) stop here and have anything!! The patacon con carne desmachada is my favorite! Love the owners, always a pleasure to be around and always welcoming to everyone that's come through the door.

incredible food from and incredible family. so glad we have this out in Newberry, one of the few things I like to eat out this way. there are 2 different types of tequenos you should def try both btw. they're great the next day in the oven if you don't finish them all no worries =)

This place is definitely worth a drive over. The patacon is sooo good. The flan is delicious and homemade. Portion sizes are generous and the staff is all lovely. Yum

The food here is AMAZING! The empanadas are loaded with meat, and the sandwiches are just delicious! I don’t know what else to say but it’s amazing!! It’s great supporting a family run business and the family here are all so kind and helpful with answering questions about the menu! I love looking at their pictures on IG and facebook to help me decide. Everything is absolutely delicious and fresh! Be prepared to wait as they cook everything from scratch but it is sooo worth it!!

The service was great, the chicken arepa and patacón were good, but the tequeños were way too salty. You can eat inside but, if it's cold get a jacket because they don't have a heater and is super cold and uncomfortable in there.

We really enjoyed our experience. They were so sweet to us and could tell it was our first visit. They guided us on what to order and it was delicious. I had an arepa with steak and my husband had a sweet plantain sandwich with pork. We definitely will be going back. I am gluten-free, and they have a lot of gluten-free options, which is a plus!! I will try their empanadas next!

Best arepas in the county for sure! I especially love when they bring their food truck to the events in Gainesville! Best tequenos too

The food is incredibly tasty, and I really enjoy their staff! English may not be their first language, but they do a great job communicatimg and they are very friendly. I always feel welcome here, and they're even helping me learn Spanish. I'm very grateful to have them in our community, and I don't get how anyone would say that they are rude or their food isn't good. You must not be telling the truth or working for some other restaurant. They are just too sweet and their food is too good, for me to stand here and act like that's okay to put them down like that. I love these people. God bless them!

First time visiting this amazing restaurant. We found it by pure coincidence. One of the best Venezuelan restaurants I've been to. The lady who helped us was welcoming and made us feel right in. We will definitely be back!

Best food I’ve had in Gainesville/Newberry area. I eat here every week and it never disappoints. Great food and service. The flavor, amount of food, and price are worth the drive from Gainesville. Everything in the menu is delicious.

Just amazing. The food was great. Had the carne asada arepa and it was not only delicious but so big. They do not skimp. Looking forward to trying everything on the menu. Great service with attention to detail. And so far I've never had a patacon anywhere else as no one else locally makes it.

We have been there 3 times now. Their patacon (sweet plantain with pulled pork) is the best venezuelan food I have ever tasted. Everything is delicious. Try the cachapas ! And the empanadas are huge !
