Great food, staff and Paulie is the best in Newberry!

Wow!! So impressed for just a little place....those garlic knots were so soft and yummy! Pizza crust was light and tasty. Well done! And prices were good!

This pizza is delicious. It has an authentic New York Italian flavor. The garlic knots melts in your mouth. Chicken Parmasean is flavorful, and my salad was crisp and fresh. I will be back soon!!!

Being from Baltimore's Little Italy Villagios food in flavor exceed s the meatballs were firm enough that when you cut them they don't fall apart the sauce was great also the cannolis were great stuffed all the way through not empty in the middle, I highly recommend them

If you like quaint hole in the wall restaurants with quality food and service this is an excellent choice. In my considered opinion it is the best pizza in town. It is a small restaurant but it has a big heart and amazing pizza with good prices.

Absolutely worth a drive from Gainesville to Newberry to enjoy this old school pizza parlor. They just don't make em like this anymore. There's not much else to say, the food is of course fantastic, literally anything you order will be above satisfactory. A blast from the past, 90's pizza parlor nostalgia galore.

I ordered a plain cheese for my kids and a simple pepperoni and black olive for the adults. The pizza was phenomenal. Villaggios will be our go to pizza joint from now on.

Was short staffed when we first got there... the waitress kept up with the dining and pick up... I told her as I was leaving that she did a great job and tipped her accordingly....

My family & I have been going to Villaggios since they opened in '05/'06. The food never disappoints and neither does the service. Paul & his team run an amazing restaurant and take pride in the food that comes out of their kitchen. The garlic knots are a must! From pizza to calzones and strombolis you won't be disappointed in whatever you choose. We enjoy the stuffed pizzas🍕

Was working in Newberry working for a few weeks and stumbled across this gem of a pizza joint! The food was some of the best I ever had. Sunny our waitress was on her toes and took great care of everyone who walked through the door. On top of all of that they have 1990’s prices and amazing food! If you are or anywhere near Gainesville make the trip to Newberry it’s so worth it!!

We have been taking our dogs across the street to the vet and since I am a pizza snob so I had to try Villaggio's. The pizza is pretty good but like I said I am a pizza snob who has devoted my entire life searching for the perfect pizza,,, The pasta dishes a fantastic,,, but it's the meatballs that blew me away. Very casual clean restaurant. Service was above & beyond! Plenty of seating. Ordered a New York style pizza with garlic bread & garlic knots. All Excellent! Highly recommend the cheesy garlic bread! Awesome! Very pleasurable dinner. Will definitely be back!

Great pizza and you can buy a slice

Let me start off by saying that I have family from New York City and I have family that currently lives in New York City. I periodically go to New York and I do indulge in New York pizza. Before I come off like some sort of a pizza elitist, I will say that this pizza is fantastic. I highly recommend checking this place out if you are ever in Newberry.

Excellent pizza and my favorite entree would be the chicken parmesan. I have tried several different kinds of pepperoni pizzas there and most recently I tried the deluxe Supreme which is the owner's favorite now it's mine.

How can you not love it. Paul and his team are the best. The pizza is amazing.

Had family dinner. Stuffed pizza was incredible. NY cheesecake was perfect (I'm VERY choosy about cheesecake). Staff was friendly and helpful. Was much less expensive than I expected, given the quality.

Tried this place for the 1st time today . Ordered a Ceaser salad, though good, it was fairly small for the price. Pizza however, was great! Definitely moneys worth there. Our Servers was very friendly & attentive. Wait time was fair too.

Hands down the best pizza around and that's coming from someone who could eat pizza every single day. The crust is always cooked perfectly, the sauce to cheese to topping ratio is perfect, the owner Paul is the absolute best. It's worth any drive you'd take to get there. And let's not forget the GARLIC KNOTS just dripping in garlic butter deliciousness and the meatballs, I could go on and on. A must try, I promise you'll be back!

Excellent authentic New York style pizza at great price, amazing

I drove 30min to get a stuffed pie. No doubt the best pizza in the Alachua county. Great costumer service and the freshness of the ingredients can be tasted on the first bite. The crust is just to cooked to perfection. I would give 9.6 as the establishment could improve to accommodate all the people that wait for the to-go.

Absolutely loved this small town pizzeria! If you love great service and affordable New York style pizza this is the place for you! From the awesome servers to the friendly owner this is the place for food in Alachua county! I travel for a living and have been to city's like Baltimore, Philadelphia and New York City and this by far on the top on my list of pizzeria's that I would go out of my way to eat at!

Golly. Some of the best pizza I have had in florida. Originally I'm from Northeast Pennsylvania. Good mom and pop shops in florida hard to come by. Atleast with flavor and nice crust. This place is top notch. Place isn't fancy. But it's still clean. Round pizza is good. So is the Sicilian. The calzones are amazing consistency. Like the cheese is soft and fluffy. Like egg whites. Man I love them too. Garlic knots are good as well. Everything has always been top notch. Keep up the good work. Thanks everyone.

A 9.4 for me! Really great customer service! Some of the best New York style pizza I have had in a while. Pizza sauce is amazing, great crust (nice crunch) and that mozzarella had to be fresh. I drove an extra hour out of my way due to the reviews. Also get the garlic knots, 3 for a dollar…why knot. 😂. Highly recommend, I’m super picky with my pies. Great job Villaggio’s!

Great pizza joint with authentic atmosphere. Meatball stromboli is by far my favorite, but a close second are the calzones.

Actual NYC pizza. Owner moved from NYC years ago, runs his business with his family. Steady stream of locals coming in and out. Delicious pizza, garlic knots were 10/10 with the best warm tomato dipping sauce. Stuffed shells also phenomenal. Husband is from NY area and said this was the best pizza he has had in all of Florida. Highly recommend.

First time coming here. This place can definitely pass as New York, Jersey pizza forsure. A person like me that was born and bred on Long Island for years this pizza is delicious. Ordered 2 cheese and A buffalo slice. The sauce was 🔥🔥🔥 one thing about the buffalo chicken is they might need to use different chicken but overall this place is fire 🔥🔥🔥🔥

From Northeast Pennsylvania here. Florida is hard to find good pizza. It's advertised as New York style. But it can pass as PA and New Jersey pizza as well. Fantastic food, great service. Pizza super tasty, garlic knots amazing too. The marinara sauce is spot on. Can't wait to try other things here also. Will definitely be going back again. Don't change anything please. Best NY style pizza I've ever had ! I've been once before and the garlic knots were incredible but the ones I got this time didn't have much sauce or garlic on them. Still the best tho! You can tell the guy knows what he's doing.

Its good nyc style pizza. I got a large pie with double pep, cheese bread, 12 garlic knots? (Well they called them garlic knots) and two cannolis. The one thing that was disappointed was that they did not fill the cannoli... it was only partially filled with a gap in it. And for $4.50 i felt cheated. I would go back and if i do I'm coming to mention that.

We were originally from NY but live in San Diego now. While visiting Florida someone took us for pizza at Villaggios saying it was good. It was the best pizza we have had since leaving NY many years ago. It was amazing. We had 7 people and had 5 orders of garlic knots Caesar Salad, Antipasto, giant size, 2 extra large special pizza and drinks all around. When I received the check I had to ask twice because it was under $50. The servings were so large we all took home doggie bags. They sell by the slice and serve hot and cold hero's as well as typical Italian food. It was so good we went again for slices at lunch. The service is friendly and quick. When they brought the pizza on large metal trays the plates were smaller metal plates instead of paper or glass which kept the food warmer, nice touch. Many of the people serving and the owner called the customers by name greeting with wild smiles. So many are repeat customers a very good sign. Being a NY'er and ex NY Cop we are a little snobby about our pizza but by far this is the best pizza and food you think you are are in NY. The owner from NY comes over and if invited sits down and makes you feel you are in his home sitting at his kitchen table. They have photos from all over NY. While the place might need a little facelift it is clean and inviting, the bathrooms are up to date and super clean. The place is not large but even with 7 they moved tables around and quickly seated us. It is in Newberry Florida but hearing some people talk they drive over 20 miles from South Gainesville to eat here often. The amazing food, great and friendly service at low prices make this a place you must try and I am sure you will become a regular. Don't miss this place. Walter and Ginny

Love me some Villaggio's. They're Great! They get an easy solid five for consistently delicious old skool mom and pop New York style pizza. And those knots, my Gods!!! While you could say they're not much to look at from the street, I'll say they're a textbook example why you don't judge a cook book by its cover. People Love them, parking lot's almost always full (the way you used to size up a place), and they're reasonable; I commend them for that. Easy to see they Love what they do. New York New York Yo! lol

My daughter went here on Sunday and got a table. This is a LEGIT NY pizzeria! I'm from Philly area originally and we walked in and saw a couple pizzas in the case on the counter and a tray of garlic knots. They looked amazing. We sat at a table and ordered some garlic knots. I had two slices of pizzas with toppings and my daughter had a Stomboli. The food came quick, the service was awesome. We left out of there barely over $20 for dinner for two! The servers were friendly and attentive. We will DEFINITELY be back!

We stopped for a quick lunch between softball parks. The staff quickly took our order to make sure we had time to eat and make it to the park. They were very nice, helpful and the food was great.

Best pizza in town. Their stuffed meat and stuffed chicken supreme are just that, Supreme. Just order early on Friday and Saturday because they get very busy in the evenings.
