I’ll definitely be making the trek across town to go to this place again. They have fantastic food and fantastic service even with only one person working on July 4th! Let them take their time to make your food because the wait is worth it! I bought a couple of things to try since I’d been eyeing them for so long and it was all exquisite plus they’ll talk with you about possible substitutions for a slightly different flavor. I can’t wait to return again to try more!! Please like this review if you found it helpful!

What a treasure! My daughter and I were here yesterday for the first time. We had the chicken pancit, shrimp pancit, vegetable fried rice, and pork lumpia. All were so well seasoned and the flavors were a wonderful surprise. As a chef myself, I can be hard to please and I can always tell if the food is fresh or comes pre-made. All the food here is fresh prepared by the chef. Portions were large. I'm thrilled that I can get food like this without having to go all the way to Gainesville. Restaurant was small, bright, and cheery inside. We had a nice 2 person table by the window. As we waited for our food to be made by the chef, (who is a delightful lady btw), my daughter and I remarked about how we felt very relaxed and happy there. Such a cool little place. Wish I could go here every day.

Ordered the chicken adobo with pancit and 2 lumpia (one pork and one vegetarian). The Adobo was rich and flavorful, the pancit was wonderful, and the lumpia was flavorful. The vegetarian was light and balanced, and the pork was hearty and is a perfect compliment for any dish.

Had to wait a bit to order pickup because it was busy but it was worth the wait. Staff was super helpful and so sweet. Our food was fresh and hot as soon as we arrived. And food tastes amazing. 100000000/10 definitely my favorite place 🤍

The restaurant is very cute and clean. They were probably just swamped today because of the watermelon festival but more concerningly it looked like there were only 2 workers, one of them seemed like she was both the cook and the server. We waited an hour before checking on our food then the server told us "30 minutes" so we asked if it was too late to cancel and she was very nice about it, mostly she sounded very relieved. The writing on the door said "fresh food, not fast food" but one hour and a half might be a little too much. The menu would benefit having a little explanation of what the dishes are exactly, other customers asked us (we are filipino) a lot of qustions because of this. Staff is sweet and nice, bathroom is clean. I want to come back another day that's less busy cause the food does look good. I think the trick is to order an hour ahead.

Super delicious! Nice little restaurant with authentic recipes, friendly service, and nice ambiance. I had the shrimp soup. Best bowl of soup I've had in years.

I am a Filipino and I know how Filipino food tastes. Bad experience here. The Longest waiting time for the food. We ordered at 1:45 and we had our food around 2:45.Too salty pansit with maybe leftovers of adobo meat on it, small portion of rice, and halo halo that is just crushed ice and milk. Also,the prices are not reasonable This place needs to close. A customer already paid for adobo and was told they ran out of adobo after waiting. She was so pissed.They close at 9 pm but around 3 pm they already have their board infront saying they are sold out. There is also a customer who made a preorder but still waited for an hour. When you go here, be prepared to WAIT and eat nasty food. The only positive thing about this place is the cashier girl who is very nice and has the grace under pressure serving pissed off customers.

The Ube Macapuno is bombbb! Soo yummy! The Coconut Buko Pandan drink is delicious! Also, try the Ube rolls at the register if they have them, drool!😍🤤 The Pork Sigsig with substitue garlic rice is now my absolute faveeee, Beef Pares is drool worthy as well!!! Pork adobo with garlic rice is one of my faves too! Chicken adobo is fall apart & sooo good! Pork Lumpia are delicious! Halo Halo is such a unique flavor, almost like a fruity cereal milk, those chunks in the drink have their own flavor that is bombbb!! Must try! Pancit noodles were also delicious, but a little peppery for kids so maybe do another entree if you have little ones! Oxtail has a peanuty flavor, i'm sure an aquired taste, wasn't much a fan of that one, though the meat was tender! Incredible staff, so sweet, deff worth the 15-20 min wait if you order in-store!

We were looking forward to trying this place because of the reviews. Unfortunately, it didn't match our expectations. It took forever for us to get our food. Service is slow. I mean one dish at a time slow! Besides, our plates included broccoli florets that came clearly from a frozen bag because they were still cold when we got our food. On top of that, they didn't even refill the plastic utensils' tray. I don't recommend it.

Fresh food priced well. The attentive staff made our experience even more delightful. We created our own sampler platter from the appetizer menu. The shrimp tamarind soup was a revelation!

Everything is delicious! We’re so sad to hear they’re moving to Gainesville because it’ll be a little further away but we’ll definitely make the drive out. The siaopaos and lumpia’s are our favorites! Definitely give it a try!

It's what I've been craving for and they did not disappoint. I had the Kare Kare oxtail and the lechon kawali. Huge portions for one person, so good. The quality of food was high end. Real ingredients. Real peanuts and sauce. I wanted to whole menu. I ended taking the Adobo and pork Sisig to go. 😂vMy compliments to the Chef!

I really enjoyed my experience at this restaurant. Not only was the food delicious, the employees were really kind and family-oriented. Lastly, the restaurant is aesthetically pleasing and well designed. Will be back again for sure!

the lady who served my party was extremely nice, provided our food quickly and even let us sing karaoke. i never caught her name, but she will forever be in my heart. food was delicious too!

We booked Filipino Flavors food truck for our wedding catering back in May and it was fantastic! The customer service while booking, the food, the service during the wedding reception exceeded all expectations! It was a lot of delicious food served up quick and very cost effective for our 100+ guest list. Filipino Flavors made it easy to incorporate part of my culture into our special day and we’re forever grateful.

Someone told me about this place, and I'm so glad they did! I went right after work around 8pm and they close at 9pm. You would think comeing an hour before closing would get you horrible service and food, but I received the opposite of that. The front person took care of me and was patient, and I got a lot of food that was season perfectly and was delicious. I can't wait to go back! Fully recommend definitely a 10 out of 10!

Incredible dining experience. The food was delicious the decor and ambience are very cozy. The staff is very friendly, and the restaurant is very clean as well. I had the beef pares and the buko pandan. The beef pares were full of authentic flavor and melted in my mouth. The buko pandan was delicious as dessert. Highly recommend this gem of a restaurant hidden in Newberry, well worth the trip wherever you are coming from.

Food is absolutely amazing. And the desert is so delicious definitely the best I've ever had.

Ever since I came back from overseas I've been trying to find decent filipino food. This place hit the spot. The lumpia was on point and the pork adobo was amazing(zero fat pieces). My husband who's reluctant to try anything beyond American cuisine loved it. The restaurant is clean and I think the kitchen was redone too, it's now an open concept. Overall this place is a win. Decent prices and didn't feel disgusted after eating it like with most restaurant food.

Ignore any of the "Karen" reviews on here. This place is a true hidden gem. Get the Pork Sisig sub garlic rice. Super worth the drive from Gainesville or anywhere else honestly. 6 outta 5 stars.

This was the first time we tried Filipino flavors and I so wish we would tried them sooner. We tried the chicken buns and pork buns and they where out of this world, the flavor was top notch. They also have a full menu of great tasting food and the cupcakes look so yummy. The atmosphere is very nice and relaxed, it seems like a great place to hang out and eat. I am definitely going back for the pork and chicken buns, they also have homemade bread that has a very sweet taste to it. You have got to try this gem of a restaurant in Newberry Florida.

I recently dined at a Filipino Flavors restaurant and I must say, the food was exceptional! From the savory adobo chicken to the the lumpia, a Filipino-style egg roll, was crispy and delicious, and the pancit, a dish made with rice noodles and vegetables, was a standout as well. The service was also top-notch and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. Overall, I would give this restaurant a 5-star rating for its delicious food, excellent service, and cozy atmosphere. Highly recommended! Newberry need more resteraunts like this !

Very, very, very, very good food and ambiance.

Ordered some vegetarian fare and it was delicious. Presentation and atmosphere were excellent too. Definitely will be coming back.
