We have gone to this restaurant several times and have always been happy and impressed with the food here! They give all the typical Korean sides in addition to authentic, great meals. Probably one of our favorite places to eat as it is a great value for the money and the portions including the sides leave you feeling full.

Welcome to the Army where we only serve the finest of dishes. Up first we have an almost $20 dish that looks and tastes like it came from a DFAC. Grainy soggy meat with barely any flavor or color. After you make it past the gray beef, you will be met with our second dish which contains burnt fried gyoza. Have you ever had a burnt donut or beignet? It leaves that disgusting after taste in your mouth? This is that but with a hint of vegetable in the middle. First impressions make connections, but today that possible connection will not be created. Out of the Korean I have tried, I can say this spot ranks on the part of my list labeled 'Only if desperate'. (I would upload pictures but an error has occurred. Will try again at a later date.)

Really good Korean food. The menu had more than enough to choose from so anyone can find something they like.

Food had excellent flavor, definitely recommend

Waited for a long time, then didn’t even give us the kimchi appetizers only until after I asked for it. The food tasted ok, but didn’t have fresh ingredients. I drove more than an hour to eat there, but did not feel the authentic Korean atmosphere.

Sincere, welcoming greeting. Our server was efficient, helpful and so friendly. The stir fried chicken was delicious. The appetizers were fresh and very tasty. Our server carefully explained each item, which was so helpful as we had not eaten there before. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal and will return soon. Highly recommend. The choices are

The service was fine but the food has gone down hill from a few months ago. The sauces where all watered down and the bento boxes where limited in sides. It's sad you don't get the cali roll. The teriyaki was bland as all the sauce was at the at the bottom. It's sad that one of my favorite restaurants has dropped so much.

We use to LOVE this place, but the menu took a change, the sauces we're watered down, choices were not as good, we were so very disappointed and won't be back until we hear they reverted to their former greatness.

Fantastic sushi. If you want something amazing, get the chef's choice. Those were two of the best rolls I've ever had.

First time having Korean food. We both had the Bulgogi - I got the beef, mild; he got the chicken medium. Both were tender and tasty (though we both could have gone up a notch on the "spicy"). We got the OMG roll which was different but fresh and delicious. Our waitress was great! We would go back here.

One of my favorite local spots. Staff is always amazing and the food is always on point. Sean is an incredible sushi chef. Definitely check this place out!

THIS PLACE IS LEGIT!!! You will not find better Bulgogi outside of Korea. Spicy was perfect, my wife got the medium and it was good too. If you like stew, you can't go wrong with any of them. The one with the Spare Ribs was shockingly good. You must try the Jalapeno Tempura. Also...kimchi comes with the meal for the table. We will be back. This will become a regular occurrence for us!

I ordered a seafood soup and pictured, in my mind, what the Sushi restaurant back home served, the good stuff. The soup arrived, it looked like colored water, but looks don’t matter, the taste? It tasted like carton broth mixed with a frozen seafood mix and blasted in the microwave. I also had ordered 2 sushi rolls. 1 of the rolls arrived first. If you picture a grocery store sushi stored for 7 days, this is what I imagine it would look and taste like. The rice tasted like it had been refrigerated for days, yuk. I got up, put walked to the register talked to the kind lady at the register and ask her to cancel the second roll and cash me out for the items that had been brought to the table. Handed the tip to my server who was really nice and left. The good thing is that we can cross this one out of the list to never come back again. I like to try new restaurants, so I figured I’d walk to the restaurant next door. Can’t have two bad experiences in a row, right? Well, let’s say it was not my day to go out to eat.

I want to try more menu items before I officially rate the restaurant but the food we did have was great! The service was wonderful (Jessica was our bartender)! Excited to come back and try more.

Great Korean food and exceptional service. The Dolsat Bimimbap is good.

They have an order online option for those of you who like to order ahead. A rather extensive menu for a small place. An almost guarantee on something for anyone. The portions are pretty good-sized for the price. For the beef bulgogi to go portion, the rice is in a separate container, which is nice because it leaves more room for the beef. I wish they would add more veggies to the bulgogi and add Broccoli to it though. The bulgogi fries were good for the most part; the flavor was there, but I wish there was a tad more sauce on the beef because the lack of more sauce left them feeling a tad more dry than I'd like. Their BBQ roll was good. Had a nice creamy taste and feel to it. They have a bar in a separate area with a jukebox and tvs. They have lots of alcohol to choose from. Whiskey, rum, vodka, cognac, you name it. They can make pretty much anything you request in the range of mix drinks like martinis, old fashioned, negroni, sidecar, sazerac, etc. They can't do frozen ones though, that's cool though still, chilled still gets the job done. There is an outside seating area for those who enjoy the fresh air, it has an awning for the outside seating area as well. Lots of good here, I'd say worth a visit and a try, but I have one little thing I want to mention, professionalism. I understand the want of an employer to let an employee dress how they want, but a certain look is usually expected of certain workers. Waiters should be dressed in at least a moderately presentable or polished look. A nice collared shirt, perhaps maybe a tie if they like. A manager should uphold a standard for their employees that they want to represent their restaurant. If it seems like you don't care about employee appearance then it could appear as though you don't care about other qualities.

I had a long hair netted in my food and they refused to give me my money back.

Service was grood. I dont recommend anything raw here. Seafood doesn't seem fresh and is a bit off in taste. Everything else - at best, okay but not great.

My family has 3 places in Crestview we like to get our sushi from… this is Dads personal favorite.

The kimchi jae yuk bokum on a bed of white rice was spicy and delicious.

My husband and I hadn't been here in over a year so we decided to give it a try. I was very displeased with the quality of the Nigri. It was very fishy and did not taste fresh. The sushi preparation was messy and tasted as good as it looked. Management was helpful at correcting my meal. I definitely do not recommend ordering any raw fish from this restaurant! My husband got a rice bowl and was happy with his meal!

Great food, relaxed atmosphere, service was good, there was only one server so she was killing it with 8 tables seated and pick up orders!

I live this place! It's extremely underrated. Their beef bulgogi is great. Their rice is always perfect. The sides they offer are a wonderful experience.

Water and tea tasted odd. But all our food was amazing. Great serving size, worth the price. Bill wasn't bad for 4. Waiter was helpful, polite, and regularly made sure we had all we needed and were satisfied. Highly recommend.

Great food and great people. Lunch or dinner, it doesn't matter; the service and quality are always just right. From bento boxes, to sushi, to bulgogi...you can't go wrong. And the atmosphere is excellent...like having dinner at your aunt's house.

Used to be good, but now the service was bad, sweet tea was soured, and the bulgogi was horrible. The kimchi veggies were the only thing worth eating.

this restaurant is not very serious about ordering after about 30 minutes of waiting i see service tables that have entered 10 minutes of me and i am here waiting for food to take home and flu i also said i also work in a restaurant and this behavior towards those who buy from them is UNACCEPTABLE to wait for all that time

Delicious food, fast service, our waitress was very attentive. I would definitely recommend this place for sushi over any of the other places in town. Their bulgogi and hibachi were very delicious.

We have always enjoyed eating here until today. Today folks waited over an hour to get food, tables were not cleaned and the waitress never took our order for 20 minutes. We ended up leaving. So sad for their business. Probably won't ho back.

Food was good, service was great. I just fought with flies, and I didn't want to finish my food. They fought over my food, landed on straw. There were at least 7 in the restaurant. I sat with 3. Rid the flies 4 stars 🌟 for sure.

Pleasantly surprised at this small restaurant and it's lunch options. I had the Bento Box with Miso Soup and Ice Tea for lunch. 2 pieces of California Roll, small salad, Tempura Shrimp, white rice and a pair of dumplings were included here Price is reasonable, soup warm and comforting.

1-Not explicitly Korean food aficionado.. Food quality deserves 3 because not served in fitted hot bowels, this allowed heat to escape too quickly. Veggie tempora, undercooked sweet potatoes. Soda fountain beverage, flat, poor quality taste. Water, had plastic/chemical flavor. Service was very pleasant. Overall comparison to other locations, limited to this area. Good.

I used to absolutely LOVE this place until recently. I've been going here a year now . The menu in the restaurant and online say hibachi comes with soup and salad and the lady said "I have to ask for it on a to go order even though it says it comes with the meal on BOTH THE ONLINE MENU AND IN STORE MENU" I've been ordering the sashimi appetizer for months and then was told I have to get the 12 piece and can't get a 6 piece anymore. They forgot my rice for my short ribs and i had to drive back to go and get it. Idk what's been going on these past months but it's ridiculous. Then i hear the cook in the background telling the lady on the phone to tell me "they ran out of soup and salad for the night or tell her she can come and pick it up if she wants" so unprofessional

Food is good, but they don't like door dash for some reason. Ordered delivery once, delivery time got pushed back 5 or 6 times. Ordered pickup and the same thing happened. They didn't answer either. If they don't want to bother with door dash orders, just end things with them

I love the atmosphere. Good drinks great food. Diverse crowd. Indoor & out door seating plus heated outdoor if needed.

Great place to eat if you understand the menu. Thank goodness we had a local friend with us that knows the place. Will definitely go back...

Love the food here every time we come and it at this place, very good portions, the only complaint is they can be very slow even when the place is not packed.

Phoned in my order at 5:25pm and they told me it would be 20-25 minutes. I arrived at 5:50pm and there were 4 others waiting for takeout. I tried to get the attention on an employee so they would know I was there, but they responded rudely and walked away. After awaiting until 6:20pm, I finally trapped the male worker (who I thought might be the manager) and asked him about my order. He rudely responded that he didn’t take my order and didn’t have any idea when it would be ready. I finally stopped the Asian lady and asked her about my order and she responded with “one minute”. After another 15 minutes passing, I asked again and she said the order is being packaged now and will be out in a minute. At 6:45pm, my order finally came out. I drove straight home and as we started eating it, it was all very cold. Everything had to be microwaved. We were less than happy with this entire event. There seemed to be people at 5-6 tables and there were 3 servers. UNBELIEVABLE. It add insult to injury, every time someone entered to either be seated or pick-up food, the Asian lady responded with “oh no, more people!” To too all of this off, they never offered a discount or an apology and just said the kitchen is trying to get caught up. It was our first visit there and as much as I love Korean food, I will never give them my business ever again. NEVER.

Not great. Small portions, but still quite expensive. Everything tasted mediocre. The fried rice was so dry that we had to toss it out. We don't plan to go back.

Great food, awesome service and always attentive to seeing if things were good or if we need something. My wife and I always enjoy our time together when we come here. I highly recommend this place to others. If you've never tried it you definitely should.

Food was decent however the serving sizes for the fried rice were smaller than expected. Pork fried rice was 14.50.

Delicious seafood pancake - crispy on the outside and moist inside. The dolsot bibimbap was served in a hot wide stoneware, which made mixing easy. The pork kimchi stew was offered in 3 levels of hotness - mild, medium, or spicy. Medium was just right for me. Would recommend mild if you are not used to spicy food. Could spice it up with kimchi provided, if needed

GREAT SERVICE from Thomas! He explained every dish that I had questions for, and great in attention to detail! The food was just the topping on the cake!

Got a bento box lunch special it was awesome enjoyed the meal, the place is a little hidden but it is a must-have to go to. The staff was well attentive and I will make it a regular stop for lunch from now on.

First impressions...clean and presentable atmosphere. Service is very polite and attentive. The food was very delicious. They also had some Korean dish which was not on the menu...harmful pajeon (seafood pajeon: seafood scallion pancake) which is very delicious. Everything was well prepared. One minor issue...the hot tea pot needed a bit more polishing...stains and finger prints. Besides that, I highly recommend this restaurant. FULCRUM

My husband and I were passing through town and stopped for dinner. The food was very good, as was the service. We look forward to stopping by again, next time we are in town.

i believe they should have more of a selection for picky eaters, such as myself. i had to eat here with coworkers and i didn’t want to complain, but i don’t enjoy sushi. all i got was their miso soup.

We always get the bagogi here. Hot and fresh. So many amazing sides. And they make fresh sushi. I like the BBQ roll. (Steak,avacado,Avocado, cream cheese roll.) I have also had the ribs.. the best.. The staff is so friendly.

Amazing food, my favorite is the bento box. They have my favorite ginger salad and gyoza in all of Okaloosa, Santa Rosa, and Escambia. The owner and servers are so nice and the service is fast. Arirang has been my family's go-to Korean lunch place since they were located on 85 (they've changed names since). I can't say enough good things about Arirang!

It’s great to have the former owners back to managing it. The food is now truly authentic again and side dishes are provided with the take out order. ‘Definitely a wonderful Korean restaurant to eat at on a regular basis.

Blown away! Fast and happy service here. We stopped in and started with edamame and the Chefs selection of sashimi. We enjoyed the Dolsot Bibimbop and the lunch Beef Bulgogi so much, we ended up mixing them all together by the end. Delicious!!

Do yourself a favor, if you're in Crestview, drop into Arirang and have some good food! This is the second time I've eaten here, and honestly, it's just amazing. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing and the staff is professional and friendly. If drinking is more your thing, there is an excellent selection of drinks inside the restaurant or in one of the two separate indoor bars or outside patio area. Food and service like this are what Crestview needs in order to become a thriving hotspot again. Please drop in and support local. You'll be glad you did!
