I absolutely love the staff and more importantly the music on Tuesday and Fridays (Taria and Marty ). I drive an hour to come and listen, eat, drink, and dance. Very disappointed that once again I have driven here and they have been cancelled. We live at the beach! Rain happens! The sky is clear now. Why does the manager cancel the entertainment so quickly?! Wait 20 minutes, it will change. Have some consideration for those of us that make a long drive to come see regular entertainment! Once again, I’m headed back to closer to home since the entertainment has been canceled last minute!

Absolutely love this place!! Great great music! Good munchie appetizers. Barbara was our waitress and she was amazing. She was really busy but always checked in with us!!!! If you like fun this is the place to be! PS every Tuesday and Friday night Tara Lee and Marty are the entertainment and they are great!!!!!

Bar tender was rude , seems like he has small mens complex. Didn’t want to serve my family for no reason and was just rude.

We sat at the outside bar for a few drinks. Tiffany the bartender was absolutely incredible! It was my fiancé's birthday and she really made our night special! Go see here and say hi!

I did not have an enjoyable experience here. I was walking by with a group of friends this past weekend. We decided to get a few drinks to-go at the sidewalk corner bar. After ordering, all of us who wanted something promptly provided our ID's. The bartender taking care of us verified what we wanted. And we gave verbal confirmation to acknowledge. When we received the drinks, we were one short. I asked what happened to mine and I received a snarky response that I didn't confirm my order. My guy tells me they forgot to make two of the same drink instead of one. But didn't want to admit forgetting. After that encounter, we made sure to steer clear the rest of our trip. Plenty of other options with better service.

Atmosphere was good but we were lucky to see our server every 30 minutes. The drinks were fine the first time. Second round was bad. Told the waitress and she was rude. If you’re looking for a place with good food, this is not it. They just play live music

Jesse is the MAN!! He was super attentive and friendly. A little sad that things slow down once the live music stops. If the jukebox was turned up...we would've stayed longer. Will definitely return next year.

Not many restaurants to choose from. Food was extra greasy. More fries than clams, shrimp and white fish.

We down in Madeira Beach over Memorial Day for our 20th anniversary. We spent every evening here at Bamboo. Such a great environment, drinks, food, music, and service. We didn’t want to leave. Made our week special! And thanks so much to Heather for taking care of us and introducing us to tequila pain killers!!!! We miss it there so much. Can’t way to go back next year!

My go-to for live music 🎶. Walking distance from home for me and lots of other shops nearby. Honestly, I have nevereatene the food, so I can not review it. You can't go wrong with the bucket 'O beer.

Great little place we have been here several times. The only downfall is the quiet hours. Have to turn the music down at like 10 o'clock. Seems everything closes up super early in Maderia 😞

Great place to have a few drinks in the evening. They always have entertainment and servers are friendly and efficient.

The food was good, fun atmosphere, but the best part was the service. Our server was Heather. She worked so hard taking care of everyone, always with a smile, kept us all laughing, and truly cared about us. We went back again because of her.

This attracts the tourist being right at John Pass, but I always meet locals. We bring anyone visiting here!! Its Fun!! Bamboo has great staff - be kind to them! They work hard!! Love Tiffany the bartender, at the square bar usually outside( the bar not undercover.) She is the best, makes the best drinks and fast! The music! They have high energy people delivering all your favorites and eclectic! Even if it's a quiet night, I love the laid back atmosphere. Beef Nachos! The best!:shrimp tacos, burgers, Some drinks are obviously tourist drinks and pricey! Don't care for them. Look closely, they have affordable things on the menu. You must visit!!

Food and drinks aren't good. BUT it has a great party vibe with the live music. Go for the atmosphere and entertainment.

This is the place to hang at John's Pass. We loved the relaxing atmosphere and local bands. Menu prices were reasonably priced as well.

Most non military friendly bar. Would not take a us government military id and then the server went from friendly to RUDE in a split second.

They gave water to "my boy" Jojo, he had a bacon cheeseburger deluxe and I fish tacos, if which we both luvd. The drinks were strong. If you luv Rok, it was audible in the background.. I'd go again!

Reason for great review is Mark Mann. Wondering why he is not there every Saturday? We always call ahead to make sure Mark is playing before we venture out. Have been going to the Boo for over a decade to see Mark Mann.

Shout out to our bartender Tiffany who was outstanding and was one of the best bartenders we've had here on our trip she also makes the best strawberry margaritas.

Great little tiki bar with live music, decent bar food and great cocktails.

The day girls and guy was terrific. The second shift came in and were rude. The guy that must be a manager was also rude. My drink was way to sweet and I took it back to the bar. I'm guessing he's the manager said what do you want us to do about it I said make a new one. I said I'd been drinking the same Kind of drink all day and the day bartender made it perfect. We come down twice a year and always come here for music and food. Might be time to go to a different place.

5 of us visited this beach bar around 7 pm. A friend of ours met us up there and while trying to let our friend taste a drink, (as they weren’t sure what they wanted) the drink spilled. The bartender was very rude. Wouldn’t serve the new arrival or any of the group. No one had even had a drink before arriving but apparently it was too much for this bar. We moved down the strip and found a place far more capable, as this place seemed eager to close for the night (at 11pm).

Great location in Johns Pass complex! Always have live music! Relaxing and very casual outside venue! We just stopped for a few cocktails and to listen to the music so we did not eat, although the tables were full of patrons eating. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. A little girl fell and skinned her knee and female bartender went to see if family needed any assistance. If we were not leaving Florida we would have returned for the weekends Event's which start on Fridays.

Love the idea of afternoon music! Outstanding service! Just had drinks there but with a tiki atmosphere you know you're on vacation! Older crowd on a Saturday afternoon too didn't have to put up with the young kids 😂... definitely a must stop in Mederia Beach!

Very Florida experience. Great blender drinks, and the whole staff was great. Just grab any open seats. Had a fun guitarist who was clearly enjoying playing.

While in Madeira Beach, if you don't stop here to at least have a drink, you're missing out big time. The atmosphere is awesome and the drinks were absolutely perfect. Make sure you have Jesse make your drinks. He is a fantastic bartender that constantly checks on you.

I'm from Michigan. Visiting my family. We have been there 5 times since I got here on the 18th of March. I always get the blackened Mahi Mahi sandwich. It soooo good. You get fries and Cole slaw with it. I also heard from other people I talked to.. the hamburgers are prettyamazing too. The atmosphere and servers are great!. Very friendly. I will continue to come here as long as they are here and i keep visiting. They also have e live bands with versatile music. Outside patios and inside tables. Plus a couple tiki bars. Absolutely wonderful. I apologize for no pics yet

This place is at the litteral end of John's Pass so first off the atmosphere has the spirit of a tiki bar but the service and drinks are very mediocre and the foods are super basic bar food but I'm sure it's because it's a small place with a small kitchen. Live music all the time as well if you are into that.

It's my favorite place to visit

$25 Pina Colada in a pineapple was met with a 20 min wait and no seating. We found the drinks to be watered down, and the pineapple's freshness questionable. Had they simply asked for a donation, we would've happily contributed, as it seemed there was no real intent to serve us.

This is a fun spot to hang out on Johns Pass. The staff is super friendly and the food is really good. There is a surprising number of places to sit and the entertainers are also very good.

Just don't do it. They were busy, yes... But we were told to seat ourselves. So we did, and waited over 10 minutes to even be acknowledged. Attempted to go up and ask for service, and we're told we could buy our first round at the bar and they would get to us. The waitress was very snippy and rude and walked away after I tried to explain to her that we were told to seat ourselves and someone would be right with us.

Great place for pub food. Excellent service (thanks Jessie!) and super live music. Great afternoon with your tween/teen kids.

Robbie Lowe was KILLER!! His drinks were so good his customer service skills are just outta this world. I will be sure to come back every time. We had a party of 9 and he took care of us and didn’t hesitate to make sure all of us were satisfied. Very professional and very good at what he does. It’s people like Mr.Robbie Lowe who make this place great ! And the food !!! the food was AMAZING. Best fish tacos and best mahi I’ve ever had. My husband said his burger was so juicy and cooked exactly how he liked it. Love coming to bamboo !!

We were out at John's Pass today and stopped by to grab a drink. Just a simple coke is all we asked for. It was 3.25 for a small cup of coke. We paid with cash for the coke and we stood there waiting for our change which we never got back. Very bad service for them to steal money from a paying customer. 😒

The musical entertainment was fantastic. The atmosphere is fantastic and one of our servers, which was Barbara was very attentive and kind overall a great experience on our five day trip to Madeira Beach.

Used to be a fun beach bar with great entertainment, now it’s a glorified karaoke bar. Sad to see it like this now

The margarita was not good. It was watery and had little alcohol. What makes this place when I was there was the music. Really enjoyed that.

This is a must!! If you’re here for a fun time, like live music and a real beach bar vibe, here you go. I have never eaten here, it’s not why I come here. I believe it is the oldest continuously operating bar in Pinellas County. They do a very small indoor area with a bar but mostly it’s outdoor or covered outdoor. Dog friendly! Again if you looking to have a great time, dance, have a beverage and listen to some good music this is a great choice.

Food was great, service was great and one of the bands we saw (Moston Allen Duet) were really good! All of us in our group look forward to hearing them play there again. All in All -- a great way to ring in the new year!!

We walked by the bamboo beach bar today omg the DJ was fire on his mixes. My wife and I are local we are going to pregame and Uber to this bar I'm sure it a great place to drink and party! See you soon!

Patio and music is stellar...Sat at a table ...server walked by us numerous times....never acknowledged...my son ordered a "basket" of fries...$4.99...quantity was probably smaller than McDonald's med extremely dissatisfied. Beer and cocktail prices are good. Jesse, bartender rocks!!
