I ordered a medium beef pho and spring roll with Thai tea. Everything was great. Paid $25 dollars total.

What an amazing find, totally surprised by how good and tasty the different types of food they serve in this restaurant. The service is outstanding. The food was served within five minutes of ordering. Most of all, the prices are cheaper compared to others in the same area. We will definitely be back to try out other food listed on the menu.

I use to really love this place until the older lady started acting a little different.She would bring me a receipt and charge my card different than would say”I forgot to add this”. Also start charging me for things like honey for my tea which they have never been going here for two years.. just started seeming like when it came down to me and my daughter we was unwelcome. But food and atmosphere was great I started going to Zen off Normdany.

Unfortunately I didn't get photos but the food and service was fantastic. We ordered two phos, fried rice, chicken wings, egg rolls, and spring rolls with boba banana teas and Thai tea. Everything tasted amazing, the pho broth was absolutely delicious, the banana milk tea is made with real bananas and was soo good. The price was great for the portions! Highly recommend and we will definitely be returning!

Service was prompt and great! No bad comments for that, but I can't understand the food, so it's only 4 for me, coz I don't really know something about Asian foods, tried some. Maybe it was just me.

This place was amazing! I was visiting Jackson and found Banana Leaf on Google maps, and decided to try it out, and it was sooooo good 😋 Upon entering the restaurant, I was greeted by a cheerful, friendly, and beautiful woman who took my order at the bar. She was very nice and we chatted a bit and I ordered the Curry and a Thai Tea with Boba. I enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant with its cool bar, floor-to-ceiling windows, and friendly staff. I ate absolutely everything on the plate and left feeling full and in a great mood 😁 I highly recommend this place, and will definitely come back next time I'm in Jacksonville! Thank you so much!

This is a phenomenal Cambodian restaurant. The have tons of traditional dishes, absolutely amazing pho, and even the tea is on point. I’ve been coming here for years, the staff is all incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. They will take the time to explain the dishes to you and help you pick out a heat level (food here can get TRULY SPICY) If you’re considering eating here please give it a try. I did, and it’s a place I have to visit at least once a month. No I wasn’t paid for this review, I just love food, especially food you can’t try everywhere.

Great service and friendly service. However I ordered the wings that took way too long to get to my table and they were bloody and under cooked.they didn’t look like the way they looked on the menu 💀. I’m going to give them another shot based on the other happy customers. Hopefully I have a better experience next time

Stopped by for dinner and ordered their special Banana Leaf pho, mee ka tang, and their fry bread sticks chakwai. The food was awesome, service was great and a nice atmosphere. Will bring wife next time I return. Definitely a nice little spot to go when you’re in Jacksonville.

Wow! 🍜 My wife and I had the best Cambodian cuisine tonight! 🍜 The egg rolls, chakroueng, and phnom Penh noodles were all amazing! 🤤 And the kabob was the best!! 😋

This is my ultimate feel good, comfort meal & hangover cure. I get the pho with meatballs. The broth is piping hot, clear, and delicious. Great noodles, meat, and toppings. I don’t even add sriracha and hoisin, it doesn’t need it. Service is always super kind and patient, never rushing you. My husband loves the fried spring rolls with chicken. They have a wonderful condiment selection with fish sauce, soy seasoning, pickled jalapeños, oyster sauce, super spicy chili oil, and sriracha and hoisin, of course. Portions of pho are HUGE, so come hungry. I loved the chicken curry as well, it made for another delectable lunch the next day. Prices are reasonable for the amount you get. We’re looking forward to trying more items!

Food was delicious! I ordered pho I forgot which kind lol… I wish the to-go size was slightly bigger and with more meat but it is fairly priced for what you get :) Service was lovely & friendly, and the atmosphere clean, spacious and comforting. I’m so glad to have a local gem like this near my job where I can order some yummy pho!

This is the greasiest pho I have eaten in a while. This will be my new and only pho stop. You gotta try it. The wait staff were super friendly and nice! The price is good here imo. Definitely worth every penny. We brought our baby and the waitress was all over our girl, it was cute and nice.

Ming’s food brought me back to the motherland 😍. I was having dinner with my parents on Tuesday night. I was craving Loat Cha with beef and this hits the spot. My dad got the same thing. My mom got Me Kha thang which is the Cambodian version of Drunken Noodles. The food came out quick. She was very attentive to us and checking in to make sure we love our orders. I live about 25 mins away but I would totally drive there everyday for her food. I can’t wait to try everything on the menu. I’m so happy we have a Cambodian spot in Jacksonville. 🙏🏽

The beef on a stick was not good and tasted heavily of being cooked on the same surface as shrimp. They would not prepare any other types of meat on a stick and they say you only get what it says on the menu and although they offer things like chicken they will not put them on a stick. The rest of the food is fine.

I’m Combodia , I thought I came to a place that cook authentic Khmer food but to find out this place doesn’t know what Khmer food is. I spend $120 for three ppl. to eat but all the food taste like trash. They make Khmer ppl look bad, oh I forgot these ppl isn’t really Cambodian. I would never recommend any Khmer to eat this because I don’t want them to lose their appetite.

Great Cambodian place to eat! Pad Tai was so delicious and their rice is cooked to perfection. Simple meals and they were ready fairly quickly. Will be back again!

Service was prompt and friendly. Restaurant was nicely decorated and clean. The food is another story. I’m Khmer and knows what Cambodian food should taste like. We order two dishes for dine in. They were OK. The curry dish lacked lemongrass and “trokuon” but I understand restaurants have to cater to their surrounding customers… However, my biggest disappointment was the papaya salad I ordered to go. The menu said “papaya, carrots, beans, tomatoes, and shrimp paste.” All we got was what tasted like pickled shredded papaya and carrots, tossed with salt.

This place sells authentic khmer food, owner is so kind and friendly definitely recommend this place.

Amazing food…. Entire family (ages 3-72) loved!

Me and my partner visited this place recently and this by far has been the best food we’ve eaten since moving to Jacksonville. The service from the moment we walked in was 10/10. We sat down immediately and our order was taken right away. The beef sticks with that special sauce on top is truly an experience. I ordered the pho with steak and shrimp and wow it was dynamite. The broth was delightful! It’s hard to get pho broth correct but this place for sure got it hands down! The noodles cooked to perfection so soft and yummy. The owner came and told us a little about her life story she was the cutest little lady! So humble so welcoming. She told us she keeps her prices low because she understands how hard it is for people to afford food in this climate. She genuinely cares about her customers. Overall this place for me was 10/10! Please go try them if you haven’t they are a small family owned business so let’s all show them some love. You won’t be disappointed!

If you’re looking for authentic Cambodia food this place is it. The most flavorful Phnom Peng noodles I have ever had. The beef sticks and fried crispy rolls were amazing! Please give this place a visit. They have more Asian cuisine like Pho, Banh Mi and tea.

This is our first time eating here and it was an extremely pleasant time. The waitress immediately acknowledged us with a heartwarming smile and we were seated while informing our waitress that it was our first time eating here. She smiled even brighter and handed us the menus and obliged us with menu items. The owner herself came out and welcomed us. She was very patient with us while we ordered and made sure she got every detail correct. When our food came out I was blown away by the presentation. It also was one of the best dishes I have ever eaten. Everything tasted great and the place was very clean. Very friendly staff, clean place, and excellent food and service. We are definitely coming back.

I've been eating pho for over 30 years. My mom makes the best but this place takes second place all day. This place makes the best broth in town. I've been to em all. The broth has some substance to it. It's not the clear stuff you get at other places. This one has amazing flavor. If you like pho this place is a must try. 10/10 would recommend.

Squeaky clean bathrooms! A secret treasure! It's a great place to pop in for lunch or dinner. I love the pho, pad see ew, and fresh spring rolls with peanut sauce. The owner is very friendly and personable. My kiddos beg me for Boba tea every time we come here.

This place NEVER disappoints! They are amazing. The food is so fresh and delicious. Staff is friendly , polite and efficient. Our server Ana was very fast and attentive. The Banana leaf Asian Bistro is a MUST!

Went back to banana Leaf bistro to try more of the Cambodian food and they did not disappoint, staff is as friendly as usual and very attentive. I had the Loat Cha which has such a unique texture with the noodles it’s a must try! Very flavorful and savory, I added more spice to mine as I like spicy food so should be okay for those who can’t handle as much heat. My husband got the Sour soup I unfortunately could not remember the name, it was equally good very refreshing and fragrant another must try! Also had the taro boba tea and it was so yum I felt it had a touch of coconut which I loved. Definitely our new favorite spot will be going back to try all the dishes on the menu!!!!

Great service and even better food. I love the pho, mee katang and Cambodian fried rice. They also have beer and wine if you'd like to enjoy a drink with your meal. I can't say enough good things about this restaurant!!!

If I come Jacksonville me and family always stop by this restaurant! Clean and the owner she so sweet.

I used to love coming here but my last 3 visits the manager has been extremely rude and off putting. I usually order my food to go and therefore ask for 2 sauces to go (because it’s an Togo order I’m being charged $1 extra for the smallest amount of sauce and each time I’m given extreme attitude for asking despite paying with no problem). Last night the manager had an extreme attitude and even stated to the waitress “didn’t you give her sauce already” what does it matter if I’m paying and even tip on Togo orders. After last night although I do enjoy the PhO I think I will take my business elsewhere I don’t mind spending money but to be met with a nasty attitude because I’m asking for something that’s not included bc I’m getting my order to go is insane.

Service is minimum, the manager elderly Asian lady is rude and favors others and unprofessional. I asked her for more pudding boba she says $2 extra. Don't settle for less and the atmosphere is like a graveyard there's a reason the place is always empty

I live in Cambodia and am visiting in Florida. I ate the Khmer Beef Stew, and it taste just like in Cambodia! Friendly service and pleasant environment. I can't wait to visit again while I'm here!

The prices are a little high for the authenticity of the thai food. The papaya salad was not spiced with thai pepper and was served alone (usually it comes with lettuce leaves to eat it on) The chicken in my pad thai was burnt. The service was very good.

This might be the hole-in-the-wall you dream about! Heading from the Panhandle to Saint Augustine for a long weekend, running behind, we decided to grab dinner in Jacksonville. Checked the reviews for something near the Interstate and Banana Leaf looked like a good bet. I kinda knew I was going to be happy when we walked in and saw Gordon Ramsay 👩‍🍳 on the TV. 🤣 It's hard to say much more. Everything we tried was great. The service was friendly and professional. The prices are very reasonable. It has a family atmosphere, not a romantic vibe, but if you don't need candles and soft jazz, I don't think you will be disappointed.

Quite spot, hidden away. You have to be looking for it to find it. They should do more advertising, so people would know about them. Nice little spot,very clean.

As others have said, this place is a hidden gem. The owner is very present and clearly cares that customers enjoy their meals, which she cooks with love. The broth for the pho is rich and flavorful, and I was happy to find they have taro tea smoothies available as well. Excellent food and top tier customer service for a very reasonable price. Absolutely recommend for delicious food cooked with passion.

We love all styles of Asian cuisine, and this is the first time we have ever seen Cambodian cuisine available. We ordered two traditional Cambodian dishes and enjoyed them both. The Cambodian dish I ordered was spicy. I like spicy food, and on a scale from 1-10, I ordered a 6. Our server talked me down to a 4, and it was a great decision! The different flavors were unique, including the crispy egg rolls. If you like different Asian styles restaurants and have never tried Cambodian, you should definitely give them a try

The Best Pad Tai. Very Friendly Server And Owner. Great Place To Eat Asian Food. 5 Star

The service was great. The egg rolls were ok. I expected the papaya salad to be spicy because that is what I am used to, as a S.E. Asian familiar with this type of cuisine. It is my fault for assuming and expecting it would be, so when it was not spicy I was disappointed. I recommend asking the server before you order, if you need clarification on anything. However, the house special phnom phen noodles was absolutely delicious (the spicy chili sauce and fish sauce at the table really elevated the dish) and reminded me of when I would visit my family for the holidays.

A sheer delight! Worth a drive. Authentic Cambodian and Thai food with the freshest of ingredients and served with cheer. The prices are extremely good, and you can get a cold Sapporo for just $3. I will send any good friend who might pass thru Jacksonville here. Don’t miss the Viet Namese grocery on the same block.

It was delicious! I ordered the Beef noodles, the others at my table ordered Mei Katang and beef sticks. The portions were reasonable. I was suprised to see a wide variety of items on the menu.

Jacksonville FL needs a new and better Pho place. On top of a long wait for your 1 large bowl soup & appetizer, double check your order also. You might be up for a surprise after waiting longer, they might give you your wrong order. Not worth waiting for a bowl of soup for 30 mins or more. Soup should be hot and ready to serve right away. Let's see if there will be improvements the next time we pass by.

What an awesome hole in the wall. Flavors are adapted to the Western palette but some how keeps authentic flavors.

This was a random choice based on reviews and location and our love of Asian food. So pleased with our choice! The place is cute and spotless. The service is friendly and quick. The food is amazing! We had spring rolls, pho and Cambodian soup. All delicious. We loved that we could get medium sized bowls of soup. The perfect size. We will definitely be back!

This is my guilty pleasure restaurant since I moved to this side of town. Their pho broth is perfect for me and it remembers me of the bowl my grandmother would serve me. And their egg yolk lemonade is the best! The only thing I wish is they’d serve more meat per bowl for an order. I usually just order extra meat as it isn’t too much an up charge but they seem to go light with meat in everything I’ve ordered so far.

Awesome experience! This was my first time trying This Asian gem. Customer service exceeded my expectations! You can create your phnom pehn noodle dish as you desire. I wanted everything, but the liver I don't care for that too much. My order was fresh and the combination of the broth complimented each ingredient quite nicely! I also ordered two beers, fresh and fried spring rolls which all were great! I shall return to try more!! Thank you for the excellent food and customer service!

Very clean, tastefully decorated and very friendly and efficient service. The menu is a good mix of different cuisines: Thai, Cambodian and Vietnamese. We tried 2 delicious stir fry dishes. We highly recommend this place to lovers of far east cuisine.

Found my favorite spot for rice porridge

I have been a customer of this Bistro for more than one year. Since back the ,it never changed it’s quality. I also like MeeKahtang, which is the best fried soft noodle. Beef sticks is also my favorite. I have to come get this food in my break time. They made food about 5 minutes and you will get fresh, hot food. The servers are great! They will recommend you to help with your desired food. I tried most of pho in Jacksonville but not see as yummy as this pho here. The restaurant is very clean and nicely decorated. A good place for family and friends to have dinner peacefully. I recommend this place.

What a great experience! The food was delicious and the owner is sweet and attentive. Our group ordered beef sticks, papaya salad, noodle soup, loat cha, and somlor maju kreung. All the dishes were tasty and it reminded me of my family’s home cooked Cambodian food. Our favorite was loat cha — we ordered two more to go! We’ll definitely return whenever we’re in the area.
