Comfortable atmosphere attentive servers beautiful scenery

The outdoor seating is filthy and crawling with roaches. 🪳 It’s very disgusting 🤮 🤢 i find that extremely unpleasant to see, I actually killed one by stepping foot on it before making it’s way to my table. I complained to the manager about it but he claimed it’s not his fault suggesting that it’s actually the city’s fault causing this infestation of roaches 🪳at this restaurant. I’m disgusted 🤮 I will never come back to this restaurant again!

Beautiful atmosphere but lacking in all other aspects. Our server didn’t smile one time and was super slow during our entire service. I ordered the yellowtail and it was just ok. There was hardly anything on the fish as far as seasoning goes and the taste was bland. I expected much better food at $40+ a plate.

The scenery is gorgeous! The servers were very polite and attentive, as is everyone in the Tampa area. The food was ok but I was expecting a bit more for the price. I would come back for drinks and appetizers and the beautiful sunset! Self parking is SUPER expensive so just go for the vallet which is free + tip.

I had an amazing experience at this beachside restaurant! The food was delicious, with fresh seafood and a great variety of dishes. The service was top-notch, very attentive and friendly. The drinks were refreshing, and the beach view was stunning—perfect for relaxing with a cocktail. Plus, there's space to hang out on the sand, making it a perfect spot for a laid-back afternoon. We have routinely come to this restaurant for the relaxing view and good meal options . However, under new ownership , I had a disappointing beet and peach salad . Two beets won’t cut it . Hardly any peaches either . Rename the salad to an arugula salad. Next is the valet parking situation . For what ever reason the new ownership In their infinite wisdom closed off the former parking entrance creating a new entrance that only serves to create a log jam of cars and poor exit . The previous entrance for the valet to take your car and deliver back was perfect and ran smoothing , no log jam and easy exit. Ownership : if something isn’t broken , leave it alone ! Wake up with the parking and make certain your meals are better prepared unless you want to be like the Sand Bar restaurant duplicate under your ownership.

What a great meal with great service!! On the beach with spectacular views. The GM Jon came over and said hello and was really present with all the diners and our super-server Kayla was knowledgeable, professional and also shared about her life on the island. Go today!!!

Rude, bad-tempered and prejudiced staff. We went with children who were playing on the beach and they said that lunch would only be allowed if everyone was sitting at the table. After everyone was seated, we waited for more than 20 minutes despite there being several waiters available in the room. After several attempts to order the menu, we left.

Went with family to celebrate the life of a family member. We sat outside, nice sunset, friendly staff, good food, they have free valet parking. We enjoyed and had quality time with family. Thank you!

Overview: More than just a gorgeous view! Food: We ate here for dinner during sunset time. We split the coconut shrimp and pompano entree. Some of the best coconut shrimp I’ve had! It was my first time trying pompano fish and it’s a new favorite. It was perfectly cooked and the corn pudding and pork topping was a perfect pairing, sweet and smokey. Finished with a great Florida Keys-worthy slice of key lime pie! Drinks: the passion fruit rum cocktail on the specials menu was great Service: Todd was wonderful! Really happy to see businesses like this using the red lights to help sea turtles. Saw a bat feasting on some bugs which was so fun!

Bartenders were nice, service was good outside and nice sunset. Ben there many times in the past, the food was horrible. The lobster ravioli tasted like out of the can. Asked server this is not like it yes to be. Fish & chips so bland and zero seasoning. Coleslaw in the past was good, tonight it was a cup of lettuce. The new owners need to get it together. Only go for sunset and drinks.

My husband and I sat in front of the ocean, it was beautiful! I had the monkfish and it was delish (our waitress said monkfish is referred as poor man's lobster because of its texture, she nailed it with that comment, I'm a foodie!) I hope I remembered our waitress name, she did a great job! Perfect balance between attentive and giving us enough space. We ended our date watching the sun set, you get beach access through stairs in the patio area (some people pulled chairs right on the patio) prices are fair, didn't like the coleslaw at all😬 my husband had the fried shrimp and loved it. 3 years after and here we are again 😍 McKenzie was our waitress she did a fantastic job! I had the honey glazed salmon with potatoes and spinach. Oh my! Kudos to the cook!!! He or she nailed that salmon 😋 nice crispy layer in the outside, tender on the inside, not overcooked at all 👏 I would totally trade in some of the potatoes for more mushrooms but it was delicious. Today was my birthday and the beach is my favorite place. If you love it too, this is the spot! Great job everyone

Food: 3/5 Did not impress us at all. For the price, we expected something to wow us. The bacon on the burger has too much fat on it. Got the beach burger and ravioli and both were ok. In my opinion, the food was overpriced. Service: 5/5 Our waitress was amazing (Maira). She checked up on us plenty and asked if we had any questions. She was very friendly and extremely helpful. One of the best service I’ve had. Atmosphere: 4/5 The shop at the front of the restaurant threw me off a little bit but it was cute. Something small but still pricey. I wish there were more signs for the restaurant however, because the building itself from the street view looked more like an office building. Overall, not too bad, but definitely look at some other options beforehand if you’re looking for something around $10-$20 per item

Stopped here for a little R&R and enjoy a cocktail overlooking the beach. The island is just gorgeous so we wanted to soak it all in. The parking is a little tough here. You can either pay $11 /hr across the street or use their valet. So it’s $$$ just to walk in the door. The place is clean and bathrooms well stocked. Views are beautiful. You can sit inside or out and I highly suggest you sit outside. There’s umbrellas to keep the hot sun off you so don’t worry. We enjoyed the coconut shrimp app, came out fast and extra crispy. I loved my painkiller cocktail. Bartender there makes a solid one! Thank you 😊 great place, just wish parking was easier

Burger was very small, extremely salty,and costly.. you're paying top dollar for the location and atmosphere not the food.also ordered a salad with chicken ..the salad had three small strips of chicken very disappointing..

Went there last night 1. The special grouper walnut crusted tasted more like crusted hash browns 2. The kids Mac cheese was fake all cheese 3. The ribs lol all 4 were mostly fat 4. 7 people 600.00 3 adults only 5 the only good part was the server Jess Never would I go back again The fish was the worst grouper 1/4 in thick no taste

It was a hot night at the end of July and we were told we could not move the umbrellas to get more shade our tables and chairs were cockeyed and for the price we were paying it really seemed like we should have been paying a pub somewhere not a dinner restaurant. Are waiter was Alex I think his name was and he was very funny we enjoyed him and he did a good job for us the food was better than average but overall the seating arrangement pretty much ruined it for me.

I was shocked that they charged $9 for bread that normally is put on the table for free. Also a glass of wine was $17. Ridiculous prices.

Food very expensive, dirty chair given and white pants ruined. no light so we had to use our phones light then cockroach attracted by he light jumped on the table startling everyone and a margarita dropped and cockroach jumped on food then manager offered only 1 new order of tacos and manager was very rude.

The food was overpriced, and we were provided with a dirty chair, which led to my white pants being ruined. Instead of eco-friendly straws, we received plastic ones, and no utensils were provided. The lack of lighting forced us to use our phone flashlights, which attracted a cockroach that jumped onto the table and startled everyone. This caused a margarita to be spilled and the cockroach to end up on the food. The manager offered only a single replacement order of tacos and was quite rude throughout the situation.

Don’t go until they take care of their roach insfectation. When I addressed Ed the waiter that attended us he said the roaches are protected and that they can not fumigate. Can you imagine such thing when inspectors fine you if you typically have roaches in any food serving place on the state of Florida. This place has a roach insfectation.

I'll start by saying that everything was a disappointment, everything was too dark, it doesn't matter that it was an atmosphere on the beach, one thing has nothing to do with the other, they brought the food and we had to call another waiter to bring us the cutlery, the The person who served us didn't even notice, after bringing the cutlery, a cockroach made its entrance on the scene and walked all over the table. The manager gave us an explanation as strange as finding a cockroach in a restaurant, the food was not It was not a wow at all. And to close the obligatory super high tip, I cannot recommend that place at all.

We arrived at the valet and walked a ways to the entrance on a Thursday night which was packed! The wait ot 35-45 minutes for a table was too much so we sat at the bar. Our waitress was wonderful. We ordered a clam chowder which was the best I've ever had! The coconut shrimp was horrible as was the calamari. The batter had too much bread and were very dry. The location however is great. The cream Brule cheese cake and key lime pie were out of this world!

Very cold air conditioning inside and dark, American style. Great on the outside. Food is a little more expensive than elsewhere. We had to wait a long time for drinks on the second tour, but we were almost finished eating 😞. You almost always get a parking space because Vallett Parking tips (approx. $5-10).

Have not been to this location for a long time brought some friends who were visiting location is beautiful the upgrades in the building were beautiful food was delicious and plentiful waiter was exceptional exclamation point we'll be heading back there soon

Hands down best fish tacos I’ve ever had! Amazing!

Everything was good. We went mid-afternoon. It was very relaxed and not busy. All of the staff was polite in a way that you could tell that they are always good with customers. The calamari didn't have a lot of flavor. I mean that in a good way. It was subtle. Not overly salted and seasoned like some places do. Was good either with or without the aioli. I had Lobster and Crab Napoleon salad. It was good. Refreshing. Just add some salt and maybe lemon juice on it as there isn't much variety of tastes in the salad. Once again, not in a bad way. My wife had the coconut shrimp. They were good as well. She really liked the cole slaw. She also liked the Pain Kicker drink. Kids had burgers and fries. I didn't try the burger, but the fries were tasty. I could see myself eating too many of those.

Food is pretty decent but don’t expect same service now that the company has been sold. Layoffs already started and the ink isn’t even dry. Won’t be the same now that it’s no longer Chiles Group.

I hope the new owners bring back the fried green tomatoes. Our recent meal was wonderful, we were a party of 10 and all our dishes were delicious

We've been several times to The Beach House and it's always an enjoyable experience. The views are obviously marvelous, but the food is also noteworthy. All of our main courses were delicious and arrived incredibly fast. One drink arrived not quite as ordered and a replacement was produced within a minute. In general the wait staff are on point, efficient, and attentive without hovering. The Beach House is a terrific standard place to eat in the area, and one that will always satisfy. Other reviews have mentioned the cost, which is arguably high - but the place delivers quality food in a wonderful atmosphere, so it's a great place to splurge.

The restaurant is by the beach, so it makes it fantastic by default. The food was OK (I had a chicken Milanese): not great not bad. If you like salad, the Caesar salad is fantastic - but remember to ask additional sauce as it doesn’t come with much

My parents and I went here for dinner and let me tell you, we were not disappointed at all! From the beautiful view and the amazing food we were very happy! Sean was a great server very attentive and gave lots of good recommendations. We will definitely be back!

Atmosphere great but only place in town so theres that. Food was marginal service was horrible bar service weak weak weak! Then went to leave and complementary valet, so called “complementary” walked up to us asking for a tip.

Wow. Off season on a Wednesday was probably the wrong time to come here. Only out of state folks on vacation in the off season when it’s cheaper is a recipe for Bad service and worse food. Pictured below. The view is definitely what keeps this immensely large foot print restaurant growing. Someone didn’t get the memo that restaurant revenue efficient is measured in “sales/square foot” or maybe they did which is why the grouper sandwich was 34 dollars! Total tourist trap do yourself a favor and go to any place around that’s in a shack to get better food for less. Appetizer came out at the same time as food. Calamari was definitely previously frozen. Grouper was fine. Wife’s was overcooked or Overheld in the window and dry (I’m assuming window since it was “hot”) for such a what could be “iconic” waterfront restaurant. Their kitchen is leaving a lot on the table in terms of guest engagement. Needs a facelift for sure. Good luck guys.

Very nice place. The service was great. The food was awesome,The outside atmosphere is perfect with your feet in the sand. Big open area for seating so you are not on top of the tables next to you. Just be prepared to pay tourist prices

Some of the heaters and fans outside are tarnished. The tables could be cleaned. The view is great right on the ocean. Food was good but not incredible.

We dropped by on a whim at about 7pm. Wowza! Valet parked and were immediately seated on the beach for an amazing sunset view! We had great drinks with the calamari to start (very good)! We both grabbed the lobster ravioli with crab in a vodka sauce, which was to die for. We were too stuffed for dessert as the portions were large. Everyone was great from beginning to end, and we can't wait to go back!

The prices are a little ridiculous for the food but thats not even the problem. Our waitress was nowhere to be found for most of the experience and never even came to ask how the food was. I found what I assumed to be a plastic piece in my burger and once I finally flagged down some other waiter he claimed it was just a hard peice of onion skin which I did not get onions on it. He offered to have it remade and that was fine but overall I would not say this place is anywhere worth the price.

Management must have changed recently (or been gone on vacation), and it changed for the worse. I saw plenty of good reviews so I took the family here during our vacation to Anna Marie island. The filet we ordered was definitely just a cut to shape ribeye. The salmon was fishy and dry, tiny portion that appeared to be frozen from Walmart or Publix %100 not fresh or market ordered, it wasn't even wholesale restaurant fish. The 4 entrees came out maybe 10 minutes after ordering, which means both salmon dishes/potatoes/spinach/etc was all pre-preppared and was being microwaved or heated up in an oven. All this totalled up to a $218 bill with no alcoholic beverages. Never again. I recommend you don't waste your time.

Seasonal local that has avoided the Beach House for years. But knowing they hired a new chef I said what the heck, let's try it. I got the clam chowder which was decent. Home made. 7 out of 10. Also got the oysters. Always good with horseradish but the seemed dry. So, I will keep you posted in 24 hours. For my meal I got the clams appetizer in the light sauce with sausage. Sadly, after the 1st bad bite I gave it another try. The 2nd bite I spit out. At 59 this is the 1st time I could not eat a meal served to me in a restaurant. It was like dirty old fish water with old clams and so called sausage that sat way too long in the dirty old fish water. So I needed to nibble on my families food. The lobster ravioli was fair. A chef boyardee version of lobster ravioli for over $40. My other daughter had the salmon and was happy with her meal. I did not try it. My husband got the fish and chips. Again, fair. The fish was not fresh and seemed dry, old, then fried. Sorry to say my experiment trying the areas tourist trap restaurant went wrong. I was hoping for better with the new chef. But, learned to late that he moved on. So it is back to the subpar food visitors pay way to much for. The manager came over and comped both my husband and my meals. After I complained the waiter was cold and distant instead of apologetic. First time I ever sent a meal back. But, what I had was horrid and my husband meal was just edible. Sad that this is what our visitors are eating when the want dinner and a sunset. Lesson learned.

Place don't meet the expectation for our party. Usually when traveling we choose at leat one meal on a place like this one. But today I feel staff really confused about the menu and the time delivering food.

Nice spot for lunch after playing on the beach all morning. Love that we could keep our toes in the sand! The burgers looked so good that my friend and I both ordered one. They were cooked perfectly and were absolutely delicious, service was great and the views were phenomenal!

Every dish was excellent. Fish and chips was perfectly battered and fish melted in your mouth. Calamari was amazing.

Great spot for a nice dinner on the beach. Our server was friendly and offered great service! We had the lobster ravioli and yellowtail entree- nothing too special both were good! There were guests eating outside in their wet swimsuits/with beach gear which is a little off-putting as it does seem like a nicer restaurant with higher prices that reflect that. Otherwise, we enjoyed our date night and you can’t beat the view of the ocean!

We ended up not eating there because it was so noisy and chaotic. The menu was extremely and when I say extremely I mean extremely expensive.

The glazed salmon was very well cooked and delicios, as well as the roasted baby potatos sauteed with mushroms. The plate presentation was very appealing. The service was very good in general as well as the restaurant ambient. I definetely recomend this relaxing beach restaurant

We visit this restaurant every time we come to Anna Maria Island. It’s good food right on the beach. If you sit outside, kids can run on the. Beach until your food arrives. If you time it well, you also have a wonderful view of the sunset on the horizon.

One of my biggest issues is the online menu had items listed that were not available. There was an appetizer (Arancini) and main that I wanted to get that was not available when we got there. Vegetarian options available online were not available at the restaurant and when I asked the waiter he said he never had heard of that dish. Referring to the gnocchi with mushrooms as well. This is false advertising and given we had 2 vegetarians in our party this is important. 5 out of 10 people in our party liked their meal. My dad asked for no onions on his chicken Sandwich and it arrived to the table with onions. It took so long for the waiter to come check on us that he just removed them and ate it. He didn’t like it. Valet parking says it is complementary however there is a sign that says the valet attendants are not paid an hourly wage, they work for tips. Overall I had higher expectations for this restaurant given the online menu and price of food.

Unfortunately, it was not the experience we expected. We have been coming for several years and it has never been disappointed. Today, it went from bad to worse. Our server was Jeff, who needs to find another job or get his act together. We were trying to decide on several appetizers, so we asked if he could tell us what someone else at a table ordered, and that was his first discontent d arrogant moment. We felt like we were a bother. No suggestions were provided on what to order, not even with drinks. Refills were upon request. Desserts were not offered, but the check was immediately brought to the table. When I asked for a menu, he immediately mentioned what HE had. We always ordered the blueberry cheesecake, and he brought a plain cheesecake. When I asked him about the blueberry one, he stated we don't have that here. I calmly told him that we had been coming for years and he again stated we don't have that here "I have been here for 24 years I should know". Seconds later he back saying that sometimes people ask for the syrup, and again, I stated no we always ask for the blueberry one of the menus,and then he stated ahh i know what you want the compost. So he brought a bowl of "blueberry compost." I found a picture online of the cheesecake, and when I went show him, he immediately shut me down again, saying," See people ask for that. At that moment, I said this was a lost case, and I was not wasting my time on him. He then tried to be mister nice, but I was not buying it. I have been in customer service for over 35 years and hope that this behavior doesn't affect this great restaurant. I guess it's time to try others.

Delicious!! Our dinner was Fabulous! Our party of 9 (4 adults/ 5 kids) went for an early dinner. We ate on the porch, so nice and relaxing. I ordered Fish tacos but subbed blackened shrimp instead, that was great! The spicy shrimp with sweet mango was great!! My husband got Honey Salmon, loved it! Brother in law had Seared Pompano said it was really good. Kids all got grilled shrimp and enjoyed it too! We will come back!

We dined a few places, including our resort during our stay. Prior to Beach House, we were tremendously disappointed at every location we dined. The night of our anniversary came and we were contemplating not going out to eat to be disappointed again. The Beach House changed our entire perspective on the dining in this area. Everything was absolutely fantastic. Starting with the complimentary valet. They were friendly and efficient. Hostess was also very friendly and we were seated immediately. Our server, Amy from Florida, was amazing. We were greeted immediately, had drinks on our table in about 3 minutes and was extremely friendly and personable. Our appetizers came out very quickly and were delicious. My wife had the spicy margarita and it was by far the best spicy margarita she had in quite some time. For dinner we were lucky enough to have their blackened cobia fish tacos. They were perfect. With choices of mostly mahi and grouper everywhere you go in Florida, this was a fantastic option. So delicious. My wife had the ribeye steak. She doesn’t usually like any steaks that I don’t make myself,lol, but this steak was tender, delicious, and perfectly cooked and seasoned. We finished our dinner with a decadent coconut cake and rich chocolate peanut butter cake. Amazing! Before leaving we thought it would be good to inform the manager, Jake, of our experience. He was super friendly and very professional. I want to congratulate the Beach House on having an amazing team. From start to finish, was perfect! Not one single opportunity missed. Well done! I advise all to make sure they visit this place as they will be thoroughly impressed.

OMG!! The view (you can sit on the beach) is so beautiful. We sat on the porch and enjoyed the view over frozen cocktails. Then we started the calamari, drizzled with sweet chili sauce and aioli dipping sauce. I had the seafood roll, which was awesome. My family enjoyed the steak tacos, fish tacos, and cheeseburger. Just a wonderful time relaxing and enjoying the view. Highly recommend you visit on a beautiful sunny day.

Had a great meal with my family in the out door area, building and space was beautiful, or serve Jack was excellent. Took our orders quickly, was friendly, food was great. Excellent experience overall.

Came here on the last night of our family vacation for dinner with a view! The seafood and drinks were fantastic. Highly recommend the Pina colada with Siesta Key Rum!

We had a great view from the patio. Service was good but had to get one item corrected so dropped a star. Grouper was great but the yellow snapper was over cooked and a bit tough. Some interesting drinks on the menu as well

This restaurant has a great ambiance right on the beach. The food was simply okay. It did not stand out relative to any specialty entree. It is still a good place to get together with friends for a night out.
