We ordered the Italian Stallion 12 inch sub, garden salad, and chicken salad. The sub was the best sub that we ever had. It was full of fresh meat and vegetables. The salads were fresh and delicious. We will be back!!

Wow! I was craving a real deli sub so turned to google. I’m so happy there’s a place like this in Middleburg. 1 - the staff are so incredibly friendly! 2 - fresh sliced deli meats and cheeses 3 - so clean! 4 - the kids meal is a steal 5 - the menu selection is top notch 6 - I can’t wait to come back!

Have driven past this place for years, and just recently started stopping in. The sandwiches and salads are amazing! Great value for the cost.The salads are big enough for 2 people. I can't say that the service has ever been fantastic, but the food is a 10.

The customer service here is absolutely fantastic. I wish for service I could give 20 stars. We had a special request for our sandwich, and the ladies' workind Sunday, 7/21/24, went above and beyond to fulfill our request.

Thought it was going to be good. 2nd order totally inconsistent. You can't advertise roasted lamb and lean beef and then claim it is all inside what looks like the cheapest Philly meat that isn't even shredded... Absolute garbage. I hope I don't get sick. Spoke praises on the first order. Not the second, won't be a third.

The chicken salad sandwich is very good. I really like the bread, the provolone is very flavorful, and the pickle spear is perfectly crisp and delicious! The staff is polite and prepared everything perfectly. I was a bit thrown off by the smell of (lemon?) cleaner, but it at least let me know the place was clean. I would go there again.

If your expecting a sub as good as Larry's DONT go to Big Daddys Subs. Both employees had horrible attitudes definitely the one whos dad is suppose yo be the "owner" ! When we "tried" to order our subs the young curly head girl kept cutting me off. Thats why she obivously messed my two subs up. When I called about the mess up she said she doesnt make the subs and hung up on me twice. New employees are great! Glad I gave them another chance! Then Philly and itialian are my go to!

Always fresh and sandwiches are full unlike subway where you have more bread than meat. Love it here!

Usually a good experience. But, tonight, Very off putting service, uncomfortable env’mt; asked for simple cold sub w/ lettuce, tom, onions but add cucumbers & pickles (sliced? Yes, thank you) , salt & pepp, oil & vin and no, no pickles on side. No salt & pepper. No oil & vin. No cukes. No pickles- except sliced (???). No one else left in the place. Server said here, tossed bag on counter. I said thank you have a good night. Barely a response other than a bothered, put upon, yeah. I miss customer service.

This was my first time going here since I just moved to clay from duval and never had one near where I lived..I ordered 2 cheesteaks and 2 drinks.The food was excellent,I loved the bread that the cheesesteak was on. The price was good not expensive at all.The service was top notch ,the two young ladys working there did a great job.I will be back here to eat again..

There were 2 young ladies working the night I went in. I had never been before, and I had never been in before. The large selection was overwhelming in a good way. They were very kind, patient, and helpful. I will definitely be back

My food was just delivered by Grubhub, and wow, this food is fresh and amazing! I’m obsessed with gyros and Greek salads and can never find a place around here that offers them. Everything tastes amazing and they loaded me up with dressing on the side, too! Will be ordering from them again :)

This is a wonderful little sub shop! I try to stop by once or twice a month. We have ordered quite a few items on the menu, but my favorite is the Chicken Club! I love to order it with ranch to make a Chicken Bacon Ranch. They also serve delicious pickles with their subs! 🤤 I highly recommend Big Daddy’s Subs.

They make great sandwiches here. Never had anything bad. My go to is the Ultimate but their cheesesteaks are really good.

first order online. And we're absolutely specific about everything we told them. No olives add onions on the salad. They didn't add onions, they added olives . I know it might be trivial, but that's what customer service is for. I gave a 15% tip and it's a new shop

First time trying this place went with my girlfriend and her family and it was awesome.

Delicious!! Everything was super fresh. High quality meats and cheese. And they are not stingy at all!! I did have a hard time taking the first bite but I'll take that problem any day 😉

The sandwiches were good but the egg salad was bad and the air made our eyes hurt and water like crazy.

Unfortunately, today wasn't a great experience. I ordered a straight up Italian (salami and pepperoni). I'm not sure what I got, but there was ham and turkey. I asked for light oil, but the sandwich was sopping. I ended up throwing over half the sandwich away.

I've eaten at quite a few sub shops in my day: Subway, Firehouse, Larry's, Jimmy John's, Jersey Mike's... but this place genuinely has some of the best subs I've ever had. Highly recommend the Italian Stallion, and the Beef and Bird. I can't quite put my finger on what makes this place so good but if I had to guess I'd say it's the quality and freshness of the ingredients. 5 stars for sure.

Amazing! Haven’t had anything bad from this place! Really good Cuban sub! Hard to find here which makes it all that much more amazing! Philly is great! And the chicken parm is pure bliss. I wish I had a negative to say but everything really was amazing!

Best sub I have had in a long time. Got the Big man and its the best Philly. But the pickles... they are worth ordering as a side! We went close to closing time also and our food was off the chain! Not a lot of places keeps fresh food till closing time!

My gyro was very good. The server even cooked a piece of bacon for our dog. Will come back!

The woman with long brown hair is exceptionally rude.

I used doordash to get this food delivered. You can taste the care they put in their food. The amount of stuff they also put in is great. All individually wrapped, even the pickles had their own little bags. I spent 30 bucks and feel like I walked away with 40 bucks worth of food. Go support this sub shop if you have a craving for a delicious sandwich!

I had the Big Man cheese steak, it was bland. The service was fine.

All I can say is this place is WOW. They have the best gluten free bread and it’s always fresh. Their Ultimate sub is my favorite

9/27 @ 8:49pm If I could rate a NO STAR RATING I WOILD Second sub place I stopped at to get a sub. 10 min to closing the doors were still unlocked, me and my fiance went into to grab something On the way out to evacuation from this hurricane. Very rude staff - told us they weren't serving us b/c everything was already washed and proceeds to state we were not welcome there. I won't be back to this location. I'm currently a general manager of a restaurant, I don't submit reviews b/c our job is very demanding but after the manager and the employer refused to release store managers name and contact info, I needed to assure they were aware of this incident. Your review is also blasted on my Facebook. This was uncalled for and I'll prevent anyone of my friends or family to boycot this location. Thank you. .

Ordered a cuban sandwich and it was great! Not a authentic one but it was very filling and delicious will definitely be back and the Lady who took my order was very friendly and fantastic more people should know about this place

Clean, friendly and enjoyable. I've tried the subs (yes) and the salads (yes again). Always got orders to go but couldn't see why anything would be different eating in. Definitely return for more.

Really! Place care more on not wasting food than repeat business. Ordered five subs and all were made with spoiled meats. Never again . Definitely dont waste your money here.

After reading all the reviews, we decided to try this shop and OMG! I can honestly say best sub we had in a long, long time! Plenty of meats, vegetables, bread is incredible and great price! So fresh! We definitely be back! It was worth the 45 minute drive!

Great subs. 12 inches full of meat for 10 something is not that usual these days. Their Italian beef with au jus and giardinaire is my favorite. Good muffaletta spread and cheese steaks as well.

I ordered two combos. One turkey, one Italian turkey. Both were very subpar. I came here because of the reviews but I'm not sure what I missed. I drove 30 minutes and it was a waste of time and money. We didn't even eat the food. The loaded potato soup before adding any cheese or sour cream that I paid extra for was like a bowl of melted cheesey yucky goo. Not sure how to explain it. Only 1 bite was taken. I'm giving two stars because the order was correct and the young lady was nice but in my opinion subway would have been better and I stopped eating there a long time ago. I'm kicking my self because I passed by a couple Publix stores. The meat quality was not good but thw ingredients were fresh. Pretty sure I won't be back after that.

I was craving a Cuban sub. Usually I get it at Publix, but wanted to try it somewhere else. I’ve had subs here before and they were good. I read that they make Cuban subs well, so that was the deciding point. Omg!! I am not a Cuban sub expert, but this was definitely the best I’ve tasted. When the Cuban sub craving hits, this will be my go to place.

Their subs are fantastic! I really like the quality of their meats and cheese. Lettuce, tomatoes and onions taste fresh. The bread they use is perfect and even better when toasted. I really like “the burg” sub. The sauce they put on it is delicious. Also, I really like how they put together their sandwiches. Everything is placed together perfectly. Even when you get to the end of the sandwich you still have meat and toppings unlike most places where your last bites are just bread.

Tried for the 1st time, got a Chicago Beef Dip....AWESOME, and they are reasonably priced. Will definitely be back again to try another sub.

My girlfriend and I have been looking for a good sub place other than the so called popular chains out there. This place is the best, you definitely don't get cheated with the amounts that go into their subs.

I used to eat subs at big chains until one day we decided to try here. They have THE BEST subs on this planet, not even joking I will never go anywhere else now. AND it’s a small business so that’s another thing I love supporting family owned, small businesses. If you haven’t tried their food I highly recommend, I promise you won’t want to eat anywhere else!!!

No longer will be eating here. This area already does not have any good sub sandwich places and this one is added to the list. Paper left on something that was put on my sandwich!!! Very, very careless and it shows the lack of caring towards customers they are serving. A child could have eaten that and possibly choked on it because they were not able to get it down trying to chew as I could not chew it and had to spit it out. By paper being anywhere inside the sandwich says alot! This place is not clean, not a good place to eat, and shows that food was/is not handled properly. I will not be recommending this place to friends as I do not want them to be ill or poisoned due to an employee's lack of care for others while at work. This is why I put the one ⭐.

I am very impressed with the Italian cold cut sub I got today. I'm new to the area and fortunately my job will be allowing me to pass Big D's on my way home everyday. They've got a satisfied patron in me. The folks working there where super nice. Thanks Big Daddy's

This is a superior establishment! They have a highly diverse menu, including hot sandwiches, cold sandwiches, hot dogs and salads. The food is flavorful and prepared efficiently. The prices are reasonable and the staff is personable! This is one of the better sandwich shops in town!

Place was clean. Service was friendly, for the most part, (I’ll explain later) The food was so so. Ordered philly subs and a hot dog. Found it a little off putting that the hot dog was put in a microwave, but kept an open mind. The philly meat was pre cooked and then put through a toaster oven to heat it up. This was our first time here, looked at the menu online. It looks great on paper but you would expect a philly to be like raw meat put on a flat top grill and cooked to order, But it was just pre cooked and re-heated. It was like going to Subway. The food was ok when we ate it, but could definitely tell the ingredients were of lower quality, especially the cheese. Seemed like processed cheese maybe im wrong but it seemed that way. Food wasn’t terrible or anything but wasn’t great either. In no real rush to go back. Wouldn’t even be a 2nd or 3rd choice for a sub. Jersey Mike’s and Larry’s Giant Subs make better subs. Lastly, there’s a pandemic going on and you’re handling food and serving it to people. It would be respectful and considerate to the customers if the employees wore a mask at least while they’re preparing your food. Overall 2.5 stars

I have no complaints about my sandwich. But I ordered a basic BLT with turkey because they make their Cuban different than I’ve seen in other places. But the service was super awkward. Not bad. (Not great) but awkward. We were never greeted or acknowledged until my husband initiated. My husband’s sandwich didn’t automatically. I’m guessing they were super new employees and young so, slightly condescending. So, maybe just lack of customer service experience. But the restaurant was clean and genuinely have no complaints except the service. I’m sure over time it will improve.

Excellent! Just ordered the Chicago sub. And my wife had the gyro, i strongly recommend!
