There buffet dishes, veg and non veg, were well-spiced and delicious- dessert even more so. The ambience was relaxing and the staff courteous

Tried their buffet. Good taste, perfectly cooked and tender foods. Enough items for appetizers and main course. There were papad, luchi, chicen tandoori, mutton biriyani, chicken kadai, yellow rice or polao, samosa, alu ka dam, channa, haleem (not too good) and few more. As a dessert they had gulab jamun and kheer. Mango lassi was awesome. But lassi was not in the buffet menu. I Recommend to visit there for their buffet.

My family and I went here for their buffet dinner and had my expectations way too high because of what I saw online. First off, none of the staff greeted us when we entered the restaurant so we were left standing confused for a minute. There wasn't a sign that listed the price or the buffet items so we just assumed it'd be the same price and items online. The buffet is smaller in person. A lot of the buffet wasn't stocked up so we had to wait a while for food to come out. Food was extremely slow and the dishes that we did have in the mean time were cold. The price per person ended up being $25, which is higher than usual buffet prices and was different than the price listed online. Although the tables and seating was alright, the atmosphere felt awkward. Overall I was let down by this place. The "most" enjoyable part was the free naan that came with each table, so that says something.

I had buffe at Biryani House, and I was thoroughly impressed. The food was exceptional—each dish was crafted with care and bursting with flavor. My husband loves Indian food and we were in the area so decided to get take out. We ordered pick up on the Uber eats app. The food was not ready but the staff was very kind. We were very impressed with the quality of the food. The tandoori chicken was flavorful and moist. My husband loved his tikka masala. The nan was very good as well. This is likely going to be our new go to Indian food spot because it is on the way home from my work. Great find.

It’s one of the best tasting Halal Pakistani/ Indian food in St. Louis area . I tried chicken biryani, poori, chole and Bihari kabab. They were all amazing , especially Bihari kabab. Service is slow , likely they need more server during peak hours.

Chicken biriyani with bone was great. Boneless chicken biriyani can be improved. Chapli kabab was good. The quantity for mutton korma was very less. Chicken samosa felt store bought.

When it comes to bryani, no one in all america makes better bryani than bakwan in san francisco! If i was the owner of this restaurant , i would take the plane to sf and beg pakwan for his secret recipe! Seariously. I ordered chicken bryani from bryani house through uber, and it was tasteless. The chicken was like bread!!

It's difficult for me to describe my experience here because it was kind of odd and also because I feel like I was running into cultural barriers. To start with, when we walked in, we were behind a group of about 15 people. They just walked over to some of the tables and talked amongst themselves. Prior to us walking in, the place was empty. In fact, there was nobody to greet us for about 5 minutes (we almost gave up). When greeted, they didn't seem to know what to do with us. I think there may have been a minor planned event, and they didn't expect walk-ins???? Anyhow, we were seated, and what became a recurring theme of the evening, we waited. Waited for menus, waited for order to be taken, waited for our drinks. The only things that were fairly quick were the appetizers and meal despite warnings that our selection would take time. The appetizers (two different samosas) were very good. The main dish of a variety of meats was also good, but we received no utensils other than spoons, and it quickly became evident that we were going to wait for someone to get forks. We received those with our drinks (Mango Lassi), which allowed us to finally fully enjoy the meal. I will say that I expected a dish of rice, but that is apparently sold separately. Fortunately, we are watching our carb intake. It did make for a spicy dinner, though. The meats were all juicy and tender with good flavoring. I really enjoyed the. The atmosphere is generally really nice. It's definitely a banquet hall atmosphere. I may try to come back another time to try the buffet since that's what most reviewers have referenced. If you're not in a hurry and have the patience, you'll find good food and atmosphere.

Service persons atitude is not acceptable standard. They do not care about customer at all. Spill the liquid on the dining table by throwing the lot of spoons and never bothered to clean the table. There was no supervision on these service personnel, they are all loose and not having any basic manners. Sorry state of affairs. After seeing this incident , we suppose to book the second event here, but we changed our plan not to have it here again..

Bihari kebabs were really good. I can say it is one of the best places to dine in Saint Louis.

I was here today to get some buffet. I somehow stumbled upon this restaurant while searching on google. The food here is the best Indian food you could get in St. Louis and the best part, ample parking. Service and atmosphere are similar to other places and does not stand out much. We started with the samosas much were perfectly crisp and fried to perfection. Also tried their biryani and goat korma. I’m not big into Hyderabad dum biryani but this had a distinct taste that was rightly spiced. They also had haleem in the buffet and that was the best item in the menu. The tandoori chicken was perfectly tangy. Not too spicy, not too well done but perfectly juicy and tangy. They had the masala chai which was a little too strong for my taste but I guess that’s another Hyderabadi styled thing. Desserts were normal but the taste of the fruit custard was very homely. There were many other items but I was done with I’d tried thus far. I’ll definitely go back again and will highly recommend this place to anyone who wants real desi taste.

I ordered food from this place three times on Uber eats and every time they forgot something, last time they forgot mango lassi. I spent 14$ buying two mango lassi and they just forgot it. It’s ridiculous how careless they are. I spoke with manager to get me in touch with the Owner, his name is Salman. He clearly doesn’t care about his business or customers. I made reviews before but nothing changes here, well I won’t be ordering or ever getting food from here.

We recently had a large iftar gathering at Biryani house. Biryani was nice and the Chicken Karahi was very very good as was the kheer. Restaurant has a nice ambiance and food was great. I highly recommend the chicken karahi and kheer.

We had an excellent experience! We hosted 140 people and everyone loved it. The food, the service and the atmosphere were all excellent. Anytime we needed something, the staff was very responsive and would take care of it in a timely manner. I highly recommend anyone wanting to host a group of family and friends to seriously consider doing it at Biryani House.

So the food is good, I order goat biryani and their goat is delicious. They make Hyderabadi Biryani which is great and tasty. But their service is not good, I called this Tuesday if they have buffet this Friday for Ramadan, they confirmed with me verbally and once I showed up to the restaurant they told me they did not have buffet. This was very frustrating, I was fasting all day. Anyway, the food is good, I would get food again but I would not dine in here for sure. Maybe, I should have called a hour before, but the guy on the phone should have not given me misinformation.

They have the best, most tastiest broast ( fried chicken) in town. No smell, consistent each time we order. Wish they had more menu items like indo Chinese and tandoori items.

The biriyani was bland, nowhere near the spicy we were told, and chicken pieces were small. Also, no soap in the men's restroom, got an "I know" response from the waiter.

Trusted hand slaughter zabiha Halal meat. I took grill platter, good quantity and perfect in taste. Naan was fresh, biryani just Hyderabadi perfect blend of spices.

Food is delicious! You will like this place if you like your Indian/ Pakistani food on the spicy side. I was there for a fundraiser where they served lunch and the women at my table were commenting how the food was tasty and flavorful. I especially enjoyed the chicken - wish I had gotten seconds 😋

Had a very good experience at the restaurant. The new management retained the dishes from the old owners and added new dishes to enhance the menu.

Food is delicious. Service is slow and possibly understaffed. Atmosphere is a little off. I would suggest getting something to go because the food is actually really good.

Hydrebadi special chicken biriyani has no flavors and is blant. Disappointed!..for ~$15 to-go order, the portion size is not worth it.

They change the restaurant name from “Biryani House” to “Kababish” which made us confused while visiting the place. Actually this restaurant is a place to eat buffet but we were there for a-la-cart. A la cart menu was quite short but the price was pocket friendly which is good. Food taste was so so..

The best biryani in STL it is same as i ate always in Hyderabad. Salman bhai thank you for making this. Alhamdulillah must recommended to all desi. The price is way to low comparatively from other restaurants who give rice and piece. Proper masaleydaaar biryani.

Looks like they have new ownership. First restaurant in St. Louis which offers hyderabadi cuisine.. Their BBQ platter is a hit. Loved the Naan, chicken kadai and biryani. The owners were nice and they offered us some deserts to taste. Will come back again!

Had a Buffet here on Dec 17, 2023. The food was freshly cooked and the taste was absolutely AWESOME! Goat Biryani and Chicken Tandoori were on a different level. Masala Chai and Kheer were amazing. I hope the ownership keeps the quality and taste of the food at this level ... and once that's done then rest of everything becomes irrelevant.

Awesome food and great ambience. Biryani is terrific and so the the kabab platter. We end up going at least once or twice to this restaurant each week. Staff is polite and courteous, cooks are experienced and bring out the great taste and flavor of Hyderabadi food. and the management is welcoming.

Town best place for delicious Indian and Pakistani cuisines

10 Stars...buffet was only on friday night.. food was never before and ever after. Everything taste so good in the buffet begining from the starters malai kabab & thandoori chicken followed by biriyani and lamb curry, chicken curry and butter chicken with naan and the final perfct finsishing signature dish rabdi kheer and they are offering soft drinks with the buffet this is the best ever meal that i have tasted so far in US

Had the dinner buffet. It was great. The chicken biryani and tandoori chicken were awesome. Loved the lentil soup. The chutney was spot on. Chicken korma was tender and delightful. The chicken Tikka masala was alright. It wasn't as creamy and it was a bit dry. The tea was Persian style and excellent. Naan was tasty and not buttered like in some places. Overall tastes like you're at your best friend's house and his grandma and ma are cooking food from the home country. Definitely recommend.

Brought my in-laws here from out of country because the food and management were great last time I was here. 180 from when that was. Not a lot of options at the buffet. The service was slow and the amount was not worth the food we got. Can’t recommend any more and would point folks to other similar places like House of India or Haveli to start.

Food was good, especially since Lal Qila has gone downhill a bit in quality. Naan isn’t as good or big as Lal Qila though. I’ll be back to try more for takeout in the future.

We went around 12 pm on Saturday and the restaurant was empty. The ambience is good. But the whole time one lady was constantly shouting at the workers which was annoying. Regarding food the taste was good. We ordered beef nihari, naan and a family BBQ platter and gulab jamun. Beef nihari was yum. Gulab jamun was also tasty 😋😋. We found hair in the chutney so asked the waitress to change it, which she did. So later she gave complementary 🧃 to my kid at the time of payment. Overall the restaurant is good. I recommend the place.

Very delicious buffet!!! They offer a small buffet on Friday evenings, which is fresh and delicious. I had the tandoori chicken, some rice with chickpeas, and two curries, they had a vegetable dish as well, salad, green chutney and yogurt, and naan bread. They offer desert which was like a tapioca pudding, and hot tea. This restaurant is very clean quiet, comfortable, and the staff was super nice and pleasant. Thank you, I will come again!! They are open Saturday and Sundays but the buffet is only Friday evenings. They seem to specialize in takeout catering as well. They offer quite a nice menu if you can’t make the buffet on Friday.

We had party at Kababish Restaurant. It was a pleasant experience. The owner of the restaurant was extremely nice and on top of everything. She was well aware of the needs of guests. The food was fresh and timely served. I would definitely recommend this for big events.
