Terrible humans that run this place, feel bad for workers

Bought fresh vegetables and Royal Red Shrimp recently. Everything was outstanding. We will be back often.

Love love love this place! Fruit is always fresh and delicious as well as there being a huge variety. The seafood is also always top notch. I recently attended the crab leg event and it was fun so smoothly and everything was delicious. I definitely recommend trying their fresh cooked seafood!

Visited this location for the first time today around 3pm, as I’m in the store walking around of course I’m being starred down! No one spoke but soon as Caucasian customers comes in all I hear Loudly is Hi how are you today? So when I make it to the counter to pay for my watermelon they turned their backs, so I’m standing there while they’re just talking. I literally had to ask if someone was going to ring me up!!! It was four females behind the counter, the human who checked me out had long hair and look like she had a mustache. It’s truly sickening still in this day and age how ignorant people still are!!

Today as 6/22/24 me n my fiancee went to eat n we had ate half of our platter n we saw the man take the food we ate n put back in the pot for other people to eat .we sat on the street in our car n watched them do it..you don't know if we had covid.aids or syplis. So we will not be coming back there to eat for that reason we had already ate out the platter n they put it back in the steam pot!!! Something we paid 92.00 for it so we did not steal it was food we had paid for n was not eaten all u can eat remember but regardless I seen one of the girls put it back in the pot! And the girls gave us a bag to put our food in n the man followed us out the door like we were criminals.u can not steal something u have to pay before even entering so choose ur words lightly n I'm not upset I clearly understand the rules but while I was sitting there one of ur waitress let another couple take their left over food n that's why we thought it was okay to do so but i am disappointed that the company put the food we had touched back in the pot if u did it with our food u did with other people food!!!!

The kids and I went here on Memorial Day and it was the BEST. My 11 year old loves their platters and so do I! Dang it, now I’m craving crab legs! See ya soon! 😆

New England born and raised. Although I don't eat crab my husband (has been to New England enough to know the difference) raved about the crab legs! I was hesitant when I purchased them but he was amazed! Busy place but incredibly kind employees! I'll be back and spread the word of this business as much as I can!

This how they treat people wow. Plus last time I went here employees were rude and one girl completely ignored us until another guy came to finally help us. Not a troll just thought you could have been more professional and respectful and how you responded. I liked going here prices are good fruit and seafood were good just not your attitude towards people you don't even know. Very unprofessional looking on your part.

Heard this was where you can get Red Royals Shrimp. They weren't wrong. First time there. Everyone was super nice. Will be back and next for more then seafood. 08.29.22 Made a run to the fruit stand. They over bought seafood. So they lowered the price on snow crab legs and red royals. I love the deals. 05.23.24 Big Sale on Seafood. Had to do it. Snow crab legs. $2.99

Absolutely amazing place great fresh seafood and fresh vegetables and the staff and owners are amazing treat you like family will definitely be buying more stuff from them for a summer cook out!!

Went here for the first time today. I was a bit surprised at the diverse offering of fish and seafood and had trouble making decisions, obviously a good thing. Staff was super friendly and I hope to be back soon.

I'm torn on this review because there were pros and cons of this place, but more cons than I expected. I'd never been before and it's a very cute, small place with a lot of variety, especially seafood. See below. Pros: customer service is excellent. The guy I chatted with was very knowledgeable and so nice. They have a huge selection of seafood and other novelty items. Pricing is as expected for such variety. Cons: all the seafood is frozen so it is hard to tell where it came from or how it got there. So nothing is truly fresh. I asked about the bisque selection and was hesitant to purchase it because I can't stand bland bisque and it was pricey, even with it being on sale. The guys assured me it had tons of flavor. However, after getting home and cooking it up, it had little to no flavor and was very bland. I did find the same brand on the package online for sale for half the price by a regular distributor. So, I do regret purchasing it. They did mentioned to get some lobster or shrimp to add to it for flavor too. So, I also purchased uncooked shrimp to add to it, which I was told was peeled and deveined and easy to cook. However, when I got home, many of them still had the veins, especially toward the back of each shrimp, and, they all had that black bundle line of nerves at the bottom. So, I had to sit down for hours and remove all of them from the shrimp. It wasn't worth it, but I didn't want to waste the money I'd spent. So I made the effort. I was hoping the shrimp would be far better in quality and taste than what you can get at the grocery store, but there was no significant difference. In all, I'd try this place again and see what else I may be able to sample out, but I was disappointed in the extra work I had to do, plus the lack of flavor and found it wasn't really worth the pricing.

This place has the best variety of seafood in STL, also, really good place to go if you’re interested in purchasing exotic fruits and good quality produce (guava,dragon-fruit etc.)

I use to love and buy their seafood, until another customer and I were commenting how we do not like to buy shrimp that wasn’t from USA. This was after seeing they were selling seafood from overseas. Then he literally blocked us, owner is a very thin skinned person. Snowflake ☹️

WOW! We got Snow Crab legs today! They are Amazing! We got the Big ones and I would definetly recommend them, we will be back for sure! First time ever going there and we will be back. We are from Baltimore Maryland so we are use to the best seafoood! Hands down we are impressed with the Snow Crab Legs!

I was just there a little while ago on the hunt for raw oysters. What a little gem of a store this is! In addition, bought some of the best looking tomatoes I’ve seen in time. Convenient location for me when I make a Costco run nearby

Was my go to store for seafood and produce not anymore. Bought some shrimp on Friday and opened and cooked some Saturday. My son said it tasted funny I smelled it and the cooked and 2 out of 3 bags smelled like ammonia. Took them back and the lady was very nice and understanding especially after she smelled them. My issue is with the owner/wife . She stood there heard everything but would not make eye contact or offer any kind of apology. But when the young lady went to the freezer to replace what I brought in she said something to her. I heard the lady say just one and 4 more. She was more concerned with the lady giving me something extra than me having to drive back from St. Peter’s to return rancid shrimp I bought the day before. And I lost because what I cooked and threw away didn’t get replaced. You would have thought there would be more compassion especially after those bad oysters that made the news a few months ago. But it wasn’t worth anymore of my time. You learn more about a business when you have an issue over buying on a regular. SMH this isn’t the 1st incident i had with the customer service the other was with the old lady always that’s always there. No point in going into details you get it. Hope this post helps anyone on the fence about going. Unfortunate because I actually like the owner posts on Facebook and believe in supporting local businesses but you have to appreciate ALL CUSTOMERS…

Great selection but poor customer service. We were not greeted or asked if we needed assistance. Were barely acknowledged during check out. Most likely will wait and get my favorite southern delicacies when I visit family on the gulf coast instead of returning.

just got my seafood boil kit from there for my 4th of july get together & everyone loved it! my first time having the royal red shrimp & they were amazing! plus the crab sales are the best around! staff is always so friendly & helpful as well :)

We have been here 4 times now for crawfish and shrimp and a few odds and ends. Great little store with super friendly staff. Being from Louisana it’s really nice to have this option so close for crawfish. Did a 300 lb. Boil and a few single sack boils and quality every time. C’est si bon 👌

Absolutely love this store! The owners and staff are all beyond amazing, especially the little cuties! Best produce we have ever had! The orange flesh honeydew, pink pineapple & huge black Diamond watermelons have stolen our hearts. Can’t forget all the Fresh seafood! Quit buying the nasty smelly seafood items at home he grocery store and get up to The Fruit stand & Seafood and get some of the BEST seafood you can find! Royal red shrimp is my new obsession, the crab legs are always a fave! And we can’t ever pass up on the LIVE Maine Lobster sales! Love supporting local small businesses and love all the hard work and everything this small shop does for all of us! We make the 50 min drive sometimes a few times a week.

Their cooked crawfish is far superior to any other location in Missouri. And their live crawfish are the biggest I’ve had in the area, even at the beginning of the season. Also, the staff is amazing and very helpful! They even offered for us to call if we had any problems or needed tips with our crawfish boil!

4th generation produce business. Clean, and well stoked with types of I have never even seen before. The not only have produce, but meat. They are open every month but January. In the Spring they carry plants, and flowers.
