Hands down the BEST BBQ I have had in Louisiana. The only negative I have is their hours. This is a lunch spot only 😞.

Blanchard's BBQ is outstanding, the meats are fabulous and the sides are outstanding. Stop in for some real BBQ, you will not be disappointed.

I ordered ribs, and beans and potato salad as sides. Ribs were pretty good, well cooked and soft to eat. I was not too impressed with beans and potato salad.

BBQ was great. It had smoke rings but no smoke flavor. The selection of BBQ sauces was awesome. My favorite was the Creole Mustard. I will be back to try more options.

Best BBQ I've had since arriving to Lafayette.

I don't hand out 5-star ratings very easily because 5-stars suggests not Is the place great - but consistently great. After moving to Louisiana from Arizona a couple of years ago, I was actually quite surprised to find that good BBQ is a difficult find out here. Finally, I found Blanchards and it hit all of the right spots. Brisket, sausage, great sauces, and probably one of the best takes on the Ole Style meat and potato meals I have experienced in a long time - Blanchard's Poutine Dream. A mound of French fries smotherd in dark rich gravy, chopped brisket, and cheese crumbles. The staff is phenomenal - I, admittedly, have a bit of a crush on the waitress behind the counter - but then it could be because she is my gateway to some of the best BBQ in Lafayette. My only critique is that they close so early and adding options like cherry peppers, pickles, and onions would be nice. Blanchard's is not just great, it's consistently great.

Blanchards has my favorite BBQ since they were just a food truck, and they’ve only gotten better since they got their building. The brisket is amazing, perfectly tender. The pulled pork is so juicy, and you can sauce it however you like. I love the Poutine, but you have to be ready to nap after! Haha. The vibe is great, clean, smells amazing. They also have super generous portions for sides, and it’s really easy to split a meal if you get a plate with 2 sides.

The food was to die for! My cousins and I had a get together and we spent almost $160 on BBQ getting a pound of each meat. When I tell we couldn’t wait to dig in once they brought the plates out it looked so good. The ribs sticky or normal are so tender and juicy almost fall off the bone but it still has a bite to it. The lean and fatty brisket was phenomenal I’m talking pull apart to the touch tender and the smoke ring and the glistening inter muscular fat looked so good. You don’t even need their sauces because the BBQ by itself is just a treat. Don’t even get me started on the Birria Tacos they were so good stuffed to the brim with meat,cheese,and everything between. After about an hour everything was said and done we all felt stuff,full,and extremely satisfied that we chose this spot. The staff were very quick to clean a table and get us seated after we ordered and not even 5 minutes or so our food was out on the table ,the wait time was minuscule. Plus they were checking up on us and were impressed this group of 4 could tackle that much BBQ. The customer service was great and so friendly and to be there around New Years time felt so good to be surrounded by family and such a great atmosphere. 10/10 Recommend this place when your in Lafayette.

Amazing BBQ! BBQ Sauces and Sides are very different, but the food is excellent! Worth every penny! Smoked perfectly! Tender and moist! I love the fatty sliced brisket, burnt ends, ribs and turkey! Try the Sticky ribs!!! And the Creole Mustard Sauce with the burnt ends!!Yum!!!

So I dropped in today,usually I order and get it picked up for me,but I must say it was just about to close and the young lady at the counter was really nice and helpful,the employees was doing work and the food came quickly and I love it, 1 meat meal ,Brisket with 2 sides,but will try the 3 meat meal just to taste,I gotten the kids the brisket sandwich, with fries & they enjoyed it,but God spare, i will dine in and let them explore the menu!p.s. good, different bar-que sauces!

Blanchard’s BBQ on W. Pinhook,Lafayette is incredible in this regard: If you are a BBQ fan, as serious as I am, you will taste the difference on your first visit. Brisket is a big item at almost every BBQ place in the South. But if you’ve eaten brisket repeatedly at a place, you understand that it is hit and miss at most places regarding tenderness & moistness (two different aspects). But not at Blanchard’s. Matt Blanchard, the Pit Master cooks incredibly tender and moist brisket every single time! After eating at at least fifty BBQ restaurants over the last 55 years, I know the difference. Nobody comes closer se to Blanchard’s- period! Not in LA, TX, AL, MS, MT, The Carolina’s or anywhere else. By default, on a day when they ran out of brisket, I had more choice but to eat ribs. Those were pretty darn good too! Great dark, smoked appearance, tender yet with a crunchy crust, I’ll be ordering them again. But in my opinion, Matt’s brisket is unbeatable. You should give it a try.

They have a very friendly staff and the Barbecue Ribs were the best by far. I will definitely be going back.

Some of the items are salty, but these are the BEST bbq beans you will ever eat.

Have had the nachos and poutine dream and both are delicious!! I get the poutine dream with light Gravy and it's so dang good.

So the only reason they lost 1 star is they randomly throw untoasted white bread ontop of everything everywhere else I've been it gets toasted/garlic toast. I got the 2 meat plate 19$ comes with 2 sides VERY GOOD PRICE! Ribs 9.5/10 very very good super tender Brisket 7.5/10 moist but kind of lacking maybe a bit more fat could have just been the pull I got still I'd eat it again. Mac and cheese 6.5/10 it's creamy but whatever they sprinkle on top was just not my personal favorite. Fries 9/10 super good well seasoned loved them

The food is so good and at such an awesome price that you can bet you'll be back from the first bite.

This place is amazing! Everyone is so friendly, and the food always perfect and full of flavor. Great place for a good family meal, especially if you get the big plates with two sides. As my kids say, “this place is so flippin’ good!”

Best Barbecue in Lafayette!!! My personal favorite is the turkey with their mac and cheese. But honestly everything from there is good!! I've tried other things off my husband's plate! The ribs, the brisket, the sausage. Everything is good, fresh, and delicious!! Fantastic service!! They may be out of something when you get there though but it's worth it!!

Their bbq is so far consistent in taste and quality! The staff is polite and efficient!

Everytime I get my heart set on barbecue they are closed. When they are finally open they always run out of meat.

Clean restaurant and friendly service but most of all the brisket and ribs were outstanding. Good bang for your buck in my opinion visiting from Dallas TX. Tender juicy brisket with nice bark—-so much flavor. Loved it. I’ll try the poutine next time, it looks interesting.

Great tasting BBQ. I won’t say it’s the best I ever had only because I travel a lot for work and have been to places in KC and Memphis and Texas that where just out of this world. However I will definitely put them up top on my list of great BBQ still. Lafayette don’t really have much options for BBQ anyway so discovering this place was great. I would definitely recommend this place and eat here again. The ribs where really good as well as the brisket. The ancho espresso bbq sauce was different but good, I actually liked it. I was recommended to this place by a friend who really liked it. I spent $24 for a 2 meat, 2 side plate with a drink. That is actually a good price also for good quality meat. Definitely check them out you won’t be disappointed.

I got the burnt ends, brisket sandwich with slaw, and it was amazing! The best i’ve had for sure! I called in my order and picked it up, it was fresh and ready very quickly. The atmosphere of the restaurant is fun with ball games on and beer specials. I wish they would be open in the evenings!

Best barbecue! A friend recommended Blanchard's to me. He said it was the best BBQ in the country. He travels for work and enjoys trying BBQ everywhere. I was skeptical, but figured I'd try Blanchard's. Let me tell you my friend just may be right. The brisket and ribs here are amazing . If you like barbecue, you must visit Blanchard's. I highly recommend it.

3rd time eating here in the past month. Working near it now so it will be my favorite place when I pickup lunch. The BBQ is outstanding !! The sauces are good (tasted them all) but i don't care for mustard with bbq so I don't use that one. I really like the root beer sauce. Wish there was a traditional option as well. I love coleslaw with bbq to balance the mild cool creamy with the savory however for me their slaw is too flavor packing and not typical slaw. While it taste good it has a mexican flare flavor to me so I wont order again to go with bbq. The potato salad also tastes good but just not my type of potato salad, too vinegary for me so for me doesn't balance the savory meats. THE BEANS!!! I could eat them every day! Had the nachos too. Very good ! I love that when ordering the brisket they ask if i want lean, fatty or a mixture of both. The staff has always been super nice and helpful, however one of the girls can sound rude over the phone ( i think she's actually just working so fast and hard ) and when you see her, she has a look that comes off as not so nice but then when she talks to you is so nice and helpful too. I realized she just looks that way and is working her tail off so busy and focused. She's actually very nice. I'm beyond thrilled to have this place close for me to enjoy. They are definitely worth a visit.

Two meat plate was my choice meal for the day. Brisket and ribs, with hand-cut fries and smoked beans. Everything was delicious. Highly recommended.
