Our visit to Bob Evans in Port Charlotte was truly exceptional. Brenda, our waitress, provided outstanding service that made our experience memorable and almost magical. Our flight was canceled, requiring us to stay an extra day, and she made it worthwhile. We are deeply grateful. I wholeheartedly recommend dining at Bob Evans and ask for Brenda; she's an extraordinary waitress.

Prices were ok but the food was just average

My daughter is 8 had hair cooked into her food . I was charged for stuff I didn't get, I ordered eggs well done hash browns scattered and crispy. Came almost raw. Had to wait to be seated my child found a pill under the table the bathroom smelled like sewage gas. Over all disappointed. The manager tookthe stuff not belonging off my bill . She also took the kid meals off due to the issue with that .

Our breakfast here was very good. Both omletes were delish. Neither one of us cared for the Honey Chicken meal we had the night before. Both visits, though, gave us excellent service!!

Here's my MKR review: First off, our server, Seven, was awesome 😎 💯 The food>>Where's the flavor? I ordered the steak burger for lunch with fries. No seasoning on the fries at all, but at least they weren't cold. The burger. The bottom bun was so soggy I could squeeze water out of it, but our awesome server brought me a new one. The burger (you can tell is previously frozen) was dry, and overdone for my taste. The bacon on it was not crisp by any stretch of the imagination, the onion, mushroom and cheese topping ... I got one good mouthful at about the center of the burger. My partner got 2 eggs over light (which were actually cooked perfectly...but where's the seasoning?) the potato cubes, again, no flavor. The bacon he got was crisp, sausage links, meh, pancakes, ok, butter and syrup of course makes any pancake better. For dessert we had the apple pie with vanilla ice cream. IMO>>and this is just my opinion>> the pie was alright, the ice cream did have vanilla flavor, but a texture more like frozen whipped cream almost. Not bad, just more fluffy than creamy to me. Overall, if I ever went back, I'd try a breakfast meal.

Great food. Sweet host. Manager walking around greeted us. Waitress Layla was good and attentive. Host Breanna( or maybe Brenna) was quick to seat us and made sure we didn’t forget our dessert.

Haven't been out to a restaurant in a few months and have to say this was a fantastic place to pick for this mornings breakfast! Everything was spot on and our waitress Jeanie was exceptionally friendly and accommodating!! 🙂🤟

I placed an order online at 6:11 pm. My confirmation said it would be ready by 6:43. I got to thiss location at 6:25 and the food was already done. Which was great. They brought out the food and we left. We got home and the rolls were chewy, there was no salad. Cheesy potatoes instead that were cold and gross. The kids didn’t even like them. Paid five dollars extra for the pot roast and it was disgusting. I ate three bites out of it. Fries were cold but given I had to drive a 15 minute drive to get home that’s understandable. There is no butter or anything included when I got there I asked for it, So they ran in and got it. So thank you for that. The majority of the food was not eaten. It was tossed in the pie was putting in the fridge. I will not pick up here.

It's been a long time since I have eaten at one. I finally decided on the pot roast dinner and I was glad I did. It's so tender it almost melts in your mouth. I had some of their wonderful banana nut bread with my meal and bought a loaf to take home. I would highly recommend this place. 💝

These were the most terrible pancakes I have ever had in my 65 years of life. It was like eating cookie dough. Like silly putty texture in the middle like raw mushy play dough just terrible. Gave them back to try again same result so I gave the server 5 bucks and walked out. I will not be going back 🔙 live in pc for 35 years I know that cracker barrel has great pancakes I forgot that this morning tomorrow it's there.

Do not get the chicken sandwich. It was good but to be honest it tasted fake , rubbery and kind of hard to peel apart. Other than that it was good and I still ate it but def wouldn't get it again. I ordered a breaded chicken sandwich .

Served BURNT FOOD manager remade and the French toast was covered in RAW EGG sai he couldn't serve the biscuits and gravy it was too old but they brought it the 1st Time for them to just hang it up and close these stores The server was worse than the manager she told me at 825pm I had to hurry and order because they close at 9pm WHO IS GETTING PAID TO RUN THESE PLACES

I got chicken fried steak breakfast meals and biscuits and gravy...... I have to say I would never go back it was the worst food I have eaten.... We could only take a few bit and could not eat no more my bf took one bit and said no more and he eats about anything..... I even tried to give it to the dogs and they would not eat it .... It was the saltest food ever ...... The gray was brown not white taste burn and salty. .. I called to see what they can do about it ... And the store manager took my info but never got back to me ...... Or even offer anything to make it better .... I see why they never have cars in the parking lot .... I would never try this place again....

Our men’s group eats breakfast every Monday morning here. The food is very good and Michelle is an excellent waitress.

Had a great breakfast at this Bob Evans location. The food was freshly prepared, tasty, and delivered fast. The coffee was always being poured before I reached below halfway down by our waiter, Mark, and the seating was comfortable. I don't think one could ask for much more. Why this chain has struggled in recent years is a mystery to me. I will be back, for sure.

Here we go again. It really blows my mind that someone can't get an order right when you order to go. You have one job. It's not that hard. They put fries in with my steak and eggs when I ordered home fries. So I got a box of soggy wet fries. Two eggs and and some steak and onion. Not one piece of mushroom. Just mostly soggy wet fries. Then they completely forgot to put the side of fries I ordered. You guys are lucky I didn't go in there today because I have about had it with restaurants screwing things up and just being awful in general. Every time I eat somewhere, I literally tell myself I could have made it better. I don't know why I make this mistake over and over🤦

We just love Bob Evan’s! This particular location has better food and the manager Anna was wonderful she was attentive and sweet when she visited our table. Our server Janelle was very sweet as well we will be back of course!!

I hadnt been to a Bob Evan's in atleast 20 years but tried the one next to my Hotel. I'm grateful to have food and don't usually spend money on restaurants but your prices are reasonable and I was tired. We got the Pot Roast dip, onion rings and the sirloin with a house salad. I'm not going in to details, that's for your corporate oversight but this food we received made us concerned that this careless attitude might have transfered to proper handling and storage of food. It was not a good experience. There is not one thing that we even took more than one bite of. It's just so sad to see an amazing brand that we want to love do so poorly. This is not meant for the employees. Two visits and both times the staff was great! This is about training and oversight.

Placed an order for the $50 family meal for curbside pickup. When we got there all curbside parking was taken by non take out customers. Long story short after the failed attempt at curbside, items from the meal were missing. We didn't realize until we got home so we called to let them know we didn't receive the entire order. Was told by Mgr "so what, we can't/don't deliver the food they forgot to put in take out orders" so I was charged and paid for food that I didn't receive, no compensation, no apology, nothing. We won't be back.

Took 30 mins to get served. My eggs were runny. ORDERED hard eggs - told her I get sick if I eat runny. She ignored me, walked off. Ended up barfing over the entire restaurant trying to get to the bathroom - cleared the restaurant out. We left amd didnt pay. They caused it.

Amazing hostess! Friendly and kind. Waiter was terrible did less than bare minimum. I ended up having to just meet my refill from the manager after asking for one and waiting 10 minutes . I was so thirsty from my salty food so that made my experience unpleasant. Never checked on us or asked how anything was and didn’t even come around for us to ask for napkins or anything we needed. Didn’t catch his name but he was young tall and African American. Management was great brought us refills and everything we needed! Thank you management! Young gentlemen. The cashier was worse than the waiter. Young redhead named Keneth rude to my 75 year old grandfather who couldn’t figure out how to put his card in. Seemed so annoyed the whole interaction!! Yelled at hostess! Food was so good!

I had the pot roast sandwich, they have changed the recipe, not good as it once was, my husband had the Country fried steak, they put green beans under the country fried steak that were full of water, it watered-down the potatoes and made everything mushy.

I go in here a few times a week at least and idk who she is but short little lady with black hair in her 20s probly I always see working the register at night is the sweetest thing Ive ever seen argue with myself Everytime to ask for her number but get too nervous when she talks lol ...good place to eat maybe one day I'll get the courage to tlk to her

I was a waitress for 20 years, so I am very easy going when being served. I went to Bob Evans in Port Charlotte on Thanksgiving Day. I expected it to be busy and it was. I didn't want long to be seated. The server came shortly after we were seated. She took our drink order. I ordered water with lemons. She brought the drinks within a few minutes. They had a reduced menu, which I must've missed seeing that online. So it was either 4 choices of breakfast or 2 choices of Thanksgiving meals. I chose turkey. With it you are allowed 3 sides. I chose macaroni and cheese, green beans and Cole slaw. The server stated they were out of coleslaw, so I asked for double side of green beans. You also have a choice of rolls or biscuits. I chose biscuits. You also got pie and had to order it ahead of time. I asked the server 3 more times for lemons. (I don't like the taste of chlorine in the water. ) I told my son she must be new at being a server. So he actually asked her if she was new when she brought our food. She stated no, she had been there for a while. The meal came. There was no macaroni and cheese. I asked again for lemons and the biscuits. She finally brought lemons and I asked about the biscuits. She stated they were making more. She did refilled son's soda. I asked again about the biscuits and told her I could take it home with my pie. She stated. " I can check to see if there are biscuits in the window, but good luck with that and giggled. When I went to pay, the cashier looked so exhausted I decided not to complain . But I did decide to write this review. She was not rude, but was definitely mixed up and confused. It took a long time for her to show a smile. Maybe she was having a bad day? I still gave her a good tip. But I seriously doubt I will eat there again.

I usually only go for breakfast. Most of the time, some of the food seems overcooked. They just need to take a bit more care in preparing the meals. Waiters are always great.

You would think we would learn our lesson but here we are again giving this location not a second chance but a fourth...shame on me. This staff has shorted our carside orders the last four times. The manager vicki could care less. "So we forgot your food, what do you want me to do about it" yeah that was the response. I love bob evans but i will drive the 10 minutes farther to the north port charlotte location.

To be honest: right after the visit and consumption of not half a meaI I vomited onto my polo shirt right next to my gf. How embarrassing. Disgusting.

Had an excellent breakfast with Emmett as our server. He was outstanding. We were impressed by his grace and ease with our order that he didn't write down and brought to us as we ordered. On top of things. Food was great. The caramel apple pancakes were over the top awesome and matched the picture in presentation. We will be back and will certainly hope that Emmitt is our server so we know it will be perfect. Thank you.

I had went there this afternoon for a late lunch and my server mckayley was amazing. My food was amazing the staff and atmosphere was a 10/10. They make you fell right at home.

We love this Bob Evans! Everyone is so nice here. We like to order for takeout and they are so fast and always get our order right. They always make sure we have everything we need. We will always come back for the great value on real food.

Waitress was great and very friendly. We were having a latte lunch so it wasn't real busy at the restaurant at that time. Very good tasty food. So many options make it really hard to decide, especially if you don't go there often.

Realy bad services order a large to go order for curbsid pick up they said no i have to come inside to get it because it was raining so i did i got soaked head to toe because her Excuse i did not want to get sick we spent alot of money will not be going back

Company has certainly changed from when I was a kid, it was always based on history and family and the Bob Evans legacy. The atmosphere is cold, I remember a plate rail along the ceiling and all kinds of local antiques were always displayed... That's what happens when accountants take over a business. Probably good for carryout although it's just a piece of History that's not there anymore.

Good for breakfast for sure . But would not be somewhere I would take a date unless I wanted it to be the last. Food was very good and service above average .

Love the pancakes (4 of them) for $4.99, as much warm syrup as you like. Service has always been great. Feels like home.
