Got there at 11:00 am was served at almost 1 pm and was told if I was in a hurry couldnt come there!! 🤬

Crispy hash browns. Thick crispy bacon. Good coffee. Reasonable prices. Nice people. Sure, they could use some help on the appearance but it’s a hole-in-the-wall kind of diner. Overall, great first impression! Definitely returning.

Best breakfast I ever had! Homefries not reheated from previous day. Served freshly cooked with diced onions. Toast was hot and perfectly buttered. And the cheese omelet was absolutely amazing. Service was outstanding ! Thank you for an incredible breakfast!!

Love a good dinner wish it was closer to my home I be going more I will be going back tomorrow morning after doctors appointment love this place

Little local hole in the wall place with GREAT breakfast at a reasonable price. They also make homemade quiche that you can order and take whole the whole thing! Really good! Someone has their kid there and boy was the little tyke WORKING! Happy to see that!

Don't judge a book. Not what I was expecting loved the Philly Cheesesteak Omelet. But what sets this place apart from anywhere else? If you have a favorite or a chef type imagination, let them know they will be glad to make it not limited to the menu. I can't wait to go back and try the Philly Cheesesteak Benedict.

Waited over an hour for breakfast, had 2 cups of coffee before eating. Place was dirty, floors and bathrooms. Walls have dead bugs and syrup on it. Dont know how they have a 5 star rating

Last visit was a good experience but we have been sitting at a table for an hour and promised soon, but still no food. Not good! Finally got the biscuits & gravy, which tastes like flour & sausage. Don’t care to return.

I tried this cafe as it is a locals diner right next to Ollie's. I always enjoy a local cafe. We were greeted by patrons enjoying a meal out front on bistro tables. We entered and seated ourselves but started to notice how dirty the place was. The floors appeared to not have been cleaned in days. Walls could use paint and the areas behind the counter need attention. Moving on to service, they were quick to attend and provided our drinks quickly. Unfortunately it took some time to receive our food. Seeing the cafe was fairly empty, I could not understand why it took a while for eggs and toast. As for the food, we did enjoy the breakfast. Scrambled eggs, home fries, sausage and toast. Food was plentiful and tasty. I gave this cafe a three star since the staff was friendly, and the food was good. Unfortunately due to how dirty the place was, I would be hesitant to return as this may be indicative and how clean the kitchen may be. I really wanted to give it high stars and enjoy the cafe, but they must work on cleanliness.

I've always liked the atmosphere of this Cafe. They attract a local crowd and have a hometown atmosphere, but they still have modern amenities. They have wifi and you can pay your bill with your phone. They allow pets at the outdoor seating area. Situated between DollarTree and Ollie's, you can bargain shop after eating!

I love this place because it is bright sin cheerful. The staff is friendly and down to earth. I like this little cafe, but now I would like to see them spruce up the outside seating area. Alot of people like to eat outside when the weather is nice.

Amy's restaurant (Morgan's) is one of the most unique gems in Charlotte County. Amy, the owner, has created one of the most fun, friendly, and affordable diners in Port Charlotte. The food is always made with care. And the staff treat the customers like real individuals. It is a true part of the community. And we are happy to have this diner be part of our lifeline ❤️

We love a local diner feel. We try and seek that out. This restaurant had that. Food was mediocre at best. Floors, tables, table items and bathrooms were dirty. Need to focus on cleanliness and raise the quality of food. Prices are reasonable, but if it doesn’t taste good…charge me more!!! Won’t go back!!!

Great little place for breakfast. I had eggs, sausages, grits, rye toast and coffee. The service and atmosphere were excellent. They make it super easy to pay with scan-and-pay.

Food was great but one guy in there was very rude to me when I walked in. He said we close at 12pm on Sundays but we’ll serve you anyways. Just this time. It’s a shame because the girl was very nice. Online it says they close at 1pm. I’m a new Realtor close by and would be embarrassed if I was with a client. I would of given 5 stars if it wasn’t for him.

Surprisingly good. Great selection of your basic American diner foods. Eggs Benedict was fantastic. Good sandwiches too. Reasonable prices. The kind of place you can visit over and over.

Waited over an hour only to get cold food. Reheated to oblivion. They were busy but not that busy. Tables were sticky and the floors were dirty. Tried it once, never again.

We Stopped in today for a bite to eat . Had time to kill before an appt and everytime we go by here it's packed. Food here was not too bad. Service was good. Only thing we didn't like to much is all the food is set on a table behind the register ( kitchen is open and Right there as well) there was open packages of food sitting there with the staff standing around the table adding things to the plates I'm assuming to help the cook Just seemed alittle unsanitary to me . Prices where reasonable as well.

It feels like a mom-and-pop atmosphere, the food is blessed and the service is personal. Great place!

These people cheated the last owners..."Morgan and her Mother"...and burned down their last restaurant in Alaska... it is all there...look it up it's all in the news...then stole the name "Morgans"...These people are monsters and not Morgan...

They have good food and a few outdoor tables. The facilities were clean and nicely decorated. Bonus: There's a Low Carb section on the breakfast menu for those that have to deal with that.

First time here. Outstanding! Sausage gravy, homefries, Hollandaise sauce - excellent!!! Rachel was right there with a fresh pot of coffee. We will be back again & again! Looking forward to checking out their lunch menu! Home cooking for sure!

Fine for a "rural" feeling diner (decor is focused on American flag and at least one God reference). I wouldn't personally go again but for some this would be a solid, cheap option. No complaints about the food and it seemed fresh but also not memorable. They do seem like they're trying and I'm sure it will only continue to improve.

Girls working hard to keep up with busy breakfast. Small kitchen space and a little disorganized. They need a heat lamp to keep food warm. Unfortunately it took 25 minutes to receive our order. Pancake was yummy.

Very little meat on the Ruben didn't put dressing on sandwich. Chef salad didn't have Italian dressing or oil and vinegar meat on salad had been frozen very little cheese Would go there again very disappointing

You get your money's worth and your taste buds gratified at this modest friendly diner. The food is very good, served hot and the prices are out of the 90's! The staff go out of their way to make you feel welcomed. Unfortunately, Morgan's Cafe is only open for breakfast and lunch and closed on Sunday. There is a daily dessert menu that should not be missed, as well as daily specials. Credit cards accepted. Don't miss this gem. I plan to become a "regular."

Best kept secret in Pt. Charlotte!!! Huge portions, friendly staff, excellent prices! The biscuits and gravy are THE BEST!!!! We go there every Saturday and never had a bad experience!

Clean, no thrills breakfast and lunch cafe. Good food, service and conversation. Good sausage gravy and eggs. Update: second or third time back again on Sat. morning, and again good food and service. Patty melt with fries and cheese omelet with fresh tomatoes were great.

Definitely a hidden gem. This is about the 6th time visiting Morgan's Cafe. Each time I find something else that makes me want to drive 15-20 minutes to eat here. Today I ordered the Morgan's Cafe Omelet and hash browns, coffee and Vanilla Crème Brule. The breakfast was delicious! The Crème Brule was smooth and delicious. On other visits, I tried the bread pudding, other omelets, grits, sammie pancakes, biscuit and gravy - I loved all of them. The coffee is some of the best in town. I love our local spots! I need to visit Morgan's Cafe more often.

Me and my guys go there whenever we can. Great home style menu. If you happen to try the ranch meatloaf, consider yourself lucky. It is to die for, but sells out quickly.

Was in Port Charlotte for the weekend and decided to spend my money locally instead of eating at a big chain place. So I went here for breakfast and I wish I would have tried somewhere else. The restaurant was clean and the waitress was nice but the food was lacking. I got 3 eggs scrambled with sausage Patties, home fries and whole wheat toast. I got about half a scoop of potatoes with some burnt onions and my toast wasn’t toasted. The coffee was bitter and the eggs had no flavor. Next time I will go somewhere else.

Best breakfast and lunch in town for the best price!! The cheese burgers, rubens, unique breakfast bowl, and home made desserts are to die for!!

Very impressed with the food and staff. The prices were very decent for what you get. Our food came out quick and our waitress couldn't have been nicer. I've seen some bad reviews but they really seem to have gotten up to speed so give them a chance. You won't regret it.

I ordered whole tenderloin sandwich to go. It was smaller than the bun and fried way too long. Couldnt even taste meat. Was very disappointed. Not sure what half of one would have been like. Do NOT recommend it at all.

Family restaurant. I had breakfast...pancakes. eggs, bacon. All items were satisfactory, not great. Service was nonexistent after the order came. Seemed like only two people doing everything, so staffing shortage possible. Server told me the food is usually better. Average place.

Morgan’s cafe is quite a find for everyone. Someday Netflix will pick it up for a mini series. A mixture of locals and snowbirds from around the country enjoying great food priced reasonably and an excellent staff of interesting cast of characters. Not only that everyone excepts and does not distract my two German Shepard service dogs. In addition the customers and staff tolerate my bad jokes and banter. Must visit soon but make sure you order my signature breakfast, Tom’s Cowboy eggs. Tom. I am there every morning until they kick me out. Johanna and Bear are by my side. I never eat alone.

The food was delicious! My omelette was so soft and the hashbrowns were cooked perfectly. I would definitely come back...and not just for the food. This is a place that knows about hospitality. The owner, server, and chef were very sweet and made me feel right at home. I will have to come back for lunch!

I went for brunch with my mom delicious food, hot, delivered with a smile! Bacon was perfect! It wasn't over cooked which was a plus in my book and my scrambled eggs were light with cheese also perfect! Atmosphere very pleasant! Very clean restrooms! Prompt service! Also I have to save any one that goes will leave happy and satisfyingly full!
