I loved their Mexican roll. However, they changed the owner and manager. I saw the manager being rude with her personal. Please, treat your personal with respect and fairly.

Can't beat this place for fresh food, friendliness of staff and accomodations. They put on a great show and their sushi is wonderful. Always leave with leftovers!

Sam is soo amazing. The hibachi is a blast, the sushi is amazing & the restaurant is clean. The food is phenomenal and the staff is extremely hard working. I would 100% recommend anyone to go eat there!

Have been going here for awhile, but last night. Not sure what was going on but the place was running so disorganized. a hibachi table was started before our full table. Salad was served while they chef was cooking, and had to ask for refills on drinks. Not normal for Ichiban. I hope they get a handle on the problem. The food was great and the chef was entertaining. We will go back again foe the food. Hopefully the service will be back to normal.

Been here twice. First time was a satisfactory experience so I thought to go in for another one. Second visit was an awful experience to say the least. We came in a few minutes after 9pm on a Friday and were seated promptly, but it took about 10 minutes for the server to get our drinks order. Another 10 minutes to get our food orders in. Store hours states they are open til 10 pm so I assumed everything will be quick since the store wasn’t packed. I was told after waiting over an hour that the sushi I ordered is no longer available. The hibachi foods we ordered weren’t ready after waiting for over an hour. Only had one drink refill over the course of our stay. For the price of the food, I was expecting a better experience but clearly it was not in our case. Staff were less attentive. We end up putting our orders in Togo boxes. Definitely not coming back and will not recommend to others.

We were sitting talking with drinks and was asked too leave that there was a party waiting very rude especially since noone was waiting

Still sitting here looking at my Hibachi and my family's thinking we should have went to McDonalds. The cook forgot half of my sons and wife's dinner along with the lack of wait staff service. I will be going to Venice from now on to eat Hibachi. 1/12/2024. 6pm, Very Disappointed

I will start reading the reviews before going somewhere next time! Look at the negative ones and you will understand it is true! Hate that I had to experience it myself....dang it! Never going back again. Not one but two crawling out onto the table. Sorry being honest, you need some cleaning help badly before you end up closed down!

As others have mentioned, there are roaches. We ate the soup, and when the chef came out, a girl from another party and I noticed the roach (exactly the same as the images posted previously) scurrying across the table. I told the hostess and another person, and they said “sorry about that.” I said we were leaving and the chef said he was disappointed he wouldn’t be cooking for us. With 4 stars, I didn’t read the reviews, but sure wish I would have. Seems to be an ongoing issue.

Of the few Hibachi’s in the area…this one is now my favorite. Great food, service, and the entertainment you expect and enjoy from a Japanese Steakhouse (Hibachi).

This is a literal secret gem. We lived so close to here and always wanted to go but never did. You wouldn’t know how special it is because the outside needs some spiffing up. But It sure is a whole new world of delight. Where else can you go for dinner and a show for about $25 a plate! Fantastic! Ask for Mao! He’s a delight! 💋

First, I love their food. The hibachi meals is delicious and not oversalted. Second, we waited well over an hour at the hibachi table. We were served our drinks after about 15-20 minutes. No one was given menus. Third, the music was so loud, we couldn't hear one another at close range.The acoustics were horrible.

The hibachi cheff/manager/owner was very friendly and he made the hibachi experience fun, he cooked right at our table and was full of jokes, very entertaining, my fiancé loved his hibachi steak and scallops it was very worth the money. I got the volacano roll sushi and it was also incredible, the sushi chef is good at his job. The staff are great people. The soup and a salad were also good as well. 10/10 definitely will go again soon. It's a great place for a small party I think. Thanks Ichiban for everything.

Everything was very good. I recommend the fried ice screen if they have it available. They have the best fried rice.

Waitstaff drinking beer while working. A lady at our table with a Pomeranian (not a service dog) when the cart of food came out the dog was trying to eat the rice from the cart and icing on the cake, a teenager in her group reached up on the grill and grabs rice with bare hands and eats it!! I lost my appetite. Won’t be going back

My wife n daughter n I went here last night. As my wife eating her salad a German roach crawled out of her salad. One of the most disgusting things I've ever seen. Then we left n the cook followed us outside n asked us to please come back in n eat n he would pay for the meal. I'm call the health department Monday morning

Was not greeted. Sat for an hour before having to ask if our food had even been started which it had not been.

We love Ichiban, we would fine there quite frequently well last night will be the last. I found a cockroach in my soup last night, we picked up and left. When we told the waitress about it all she said was that she was sorry, didn’t offer to get the manager didn’t offer to comp just our drinks we got. Very disappointed with it as I said we loved them but that will definitely be our last trip there

Didn't get what we ordered service was terrible food wasn't good at all was told wait time for a hibachi was way off food was brought out a different times and the prices we're rediculous for what it was all around a terrible first experience

Been here twice for a birthday celebration, once for graduation celebration and ALL 3 TIMES THE A/C DID NOT WORK. Pouring with sweat each time it has taken everything within me not to walk out cussing my head off. I have eaten better food, and it is not worth pouring with sweat!!

Not very tasteful. Not high quality, but lots of quantity. Fried rice was very bland. Seasonings were lacking. Steak was filet mignon they took one steak filet mignon and cut it in half and made two steaks out of it. Lobster was small. Scallops were not fresh either. Overall id say don't go was your money.

Sorry no photos because I ate it all everything about it from ordering to stuffed to the point I can't move was great hostess or server whatever she was,was very polite and helpful . I would most definitely eat again but after I finish my leftovers everything was made correctly even with my picky family thank you

We have been here many times and have enjoyed our dinner at the Hibachi tables, but tonight was a major disappointment. At 4:30 pm, the Hibachi tables were already filled (reservations are no longer accepted so they say) so we sat at the table on the other side of the room. Our service was poor and discombobulated, our food was tasteless, cold and dry, and management was rude and uncaring. Totally unacceptable. We will not be back.

I would give only 1 star but since I visited several times before + had great food & service, I will give an extra star. Where do I begin..... 1. They no longer take reservations BUT a party of 7 & a party of 9 came in while we were there & got direct seating at the hibachi table. Our party of 7 arrived at 430pm (they open 4pm) hibachi tables were full so we were directed to a booth with added tables/chairs. 2. 20 minutes after being seated we had our drink order taken (after we flagged someone down). 3. The rest of the night just got worse after that....food order came in pieces, some undercooked, some meats dry. 4. Server did not once check back with us for drink refills until we flagged him down again. 5. When we requested to speak with the owner, the Manager came to our table. All we received from her were excuses & attitude. Not even an offer to comp any portion of our meals for this poor service & food. We always made reservations for the hibachi & the food, service & entertainment was superb. Unfortunately, our group will no longer be dining at this establishment.

Everytime we go here, i love it. Seem to celebrate all our birthdays here. Need to go more than once a month for sure!

Ben to several Japanese Steakhouses and this One Is the Best

First time going here, and honestly it was the best!! My kids enjoyed this experience, specially my son he loved the fire show... Our chef was amazing, don't remember his name but his mom owns the restaurant... Thank you for the experience 😌 will be returning soon🙌

Poor service and marginal food. Drinks not refilled, food wasn't very hot, long gaps between soup, salad, and main course. Had to ask for our ticket. This was the worst Hibachi place we have been to. A waste of money. An underwhelming experience. Won't be going back.

Had 6:30 reservations for my family and my elderly parents. Arrived 5 minutes early and were told they were running behind and would not have our hibachi table ready for about an hour. They offered to push another customer out of a table and seat us in the tabletop dining area to which we agreed was better than losing out our reservation time, although seemed rude to the other customers. After about 15 minutes of chaos they had the other customer out and the table set for our party. It was around 20 minutes more before an employee took a drink order from us. Another 20 minutes or so passed before yet another employee asked if our order was taken, to which we responded that we hadn't been given menus. Another 20 minutes before yet a third employee came by to take an order from us. A children's meal arrives within 10 minutes, simple chicken tenders, and around 10 minutes after the tenders came what we believed were the first two of our 5 meals.. however it would be the only two we received. After another 10 minutes or so one of the random employees asked if we needed anything, to which we responded that we STILL hadn't seen the other 3 meals, and believe that the 2 we did receive actually belonged to another couple behind us who seemed to be wondering where their two meals went.. Manager had nothing to say. Paid for the two mixed up meals and tenders but we won't be back and don't recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Small inside seating so make sure you get reservations! We sat at a table because there was no openings at the hibachi table. We ordered filet/scallops & Sirloin/shrimp. Both were very reasonable price for the quality to received. Asked for medium rare and got medium rare! We also ordered a sushi roll the spider. unfortunately, the crab was way over fried and was hard as a rock.

Dinner was good- Sam the chef for our flat top grille was great. The ambiance needs a little work . Football was kinda loud on both TV Sets. I'm not a sports guy so it was a bit annoying when I was trying to relax for my birthday dinner. That's the only thing besides lighting I would change . Service was excellent ---

So our 10 year old asked we write this place a 5 star review because “This place is the bomb!”. In addition to my son’s opinion, this place is incredible. Great food, good vibe, and family owned since 1990!

We came in for a nice birthday dinner. The tempura was crunchy, the eel was savory and rich, and the crab was buttery. We sat in a booth, but we could see the hibachi experience from where we were, which was really cool. Definitely ask for some of their homemade hot sauce.

Upon entering, it wasn't what we were accustomed to seeing based on past hibachi experiences but where they lack in décor they make up for in service. This is a family owned restaurant. Always happy to support a mom and pops when I can. The chef got our steaks spot on and was extremely entertaining. I'm a pretty awkward person when it comes to interacting with people I don't know and to be honest, there was never an awkward moment with this chef. He kept us engaged and chatting the entire time. Food was without a doubt the best hibachi we've had. Wishing you and your family the best!

First timer and was pleasantly surprised. Ordered the filet hibachi and saki which were both on point. We had some laughs and a delicious meal. I'll definitely be a return customer 😎

Our experience at Ichaban is always awesome. We love going there, for the food but our experience with mamasun and her staff for many years. We are so glad that covid didn't take our favorite restaurant. If you want an excellent place to eat and enjoy a special birthday or event this is your place.

The food is great, and so is the atmosphere. There's sometimes a wait time for a table, depending on the night though - but both the hibachi and sushi menu are very good.

Everyone including the greeters, servers, the Chef, and bussers were extremely friendly and professional. The food was excellent, the price was very competitive compared with other hibachi grill experiences we’ve enjoyed, and the Chef (Donnie) was wonderful!!

Funny chef, good local feel, good food. Kids and adults had a blast! Sushi was good many rolls that were created there and named local terms like Charlotte Roll. Good place to go when you don't want to cook.

Small place with standard hibachi food. Chef Sam made our experience absolutely wonderful. He was very kind, talked to the kids so nice and even let them crack the egg. We were looking for a fun place for the kids to eat and he truly made our night. Great chef too!
