The Lamb Gyro with hummus and pita bread ( hopefully I got that correct) was amazing. The flavor of everything was excellent, I highly recommend the Turkish coffee. It is easily the best Mediterranean restaurant I have ever been to.

It is a magical place, you feel like you are in the Middle East, it smells delicious, the decoration is very pretty and cozy, fresh, not noisy at all, the service is very pleasant and the food is delicious, healthy, fresh, very delicious, the wines are excellent, Not to mention, it is a very pleasant experience, I just tried what I ordered and everything was on point, very fast and delicious, highly recommended and of course I will return, it is a shame that I did not take a photograph of what I ordered but On my next visit I will do it. I just moved to the area and was so excited to find a Mediterranean restaurant! We were warmly greeted and sat in beautifully decorated dining space. We started with the appetizer platter with hummus, tzatziki, falafel, and sigara borek. Everything on was amazing! My husband got the lamb saute, I got the beef kabob, my mom got the chicken kabob. Everything tasted fresh and made with quality ingredients. Good sized portions and fairly priced. We will definitely be back!

Came in late and much closer to closing than we realized but they still served us and were quick too! No lack of service either!

Unbelievable food in a warm atmosphere with excellent service. The falafel is perfectly crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. The lentil soup is complex and not at all salty. The baklava is divine, especially when coupled with the Turkish coffee. Go to here!

First time eating here and will definitely be back! The food and service was excellent. The portions are huge and prices are very reasonable. I had the Falafel sandwich with “side” Greek salad which was like a full salad. My husband had the shrimp rice bowl. Looking forward to trying more dishes!

They told me I couldn't bring an outside drink into the restaurant they don't carry the drink I like so we left never going back !!!. And it's not posted that outside drinks are prohibited and we've brought drinks in multiple times

No hours indicated on their door, however, Google indicated they close at 8PM and their ‘Open’ sign was lot. My family and I had walked in at 7:35 and we were told they were closed. I would hate to think they just didn’t want to serve us. My daughters and I had eaten there for lunch in the past, and I tipped well (as I do wherever I dine).

Was hoping for a great Mediterranean meal, but was extremely disappointed. Have had very authentic food and this was not fresh or authentic at all. Food was greasy and lacked flavor. Grape leaves were obviously out of a can and salty. Would not recommend.

This is a great little spot with delicious food! The ambiance is wonderful, with many thoughtful touches that add to the experience. I especially appreciated the low-fat options available on the menu. The only minor issue was that the waiter brought me the wrong soup. Although it was still good, I was looking forward to trying my original order. Despite this, I will definitely be coming back. The overall experience was delightful, and the minor hiccup didn't overshadow the quality of the food and the charming atmosphere.

First time eating anything from here. I placed an online order. I got the falafel wrap for $10.99 plus tax. The fries were hot and crispy and flavorful. The falafel wrap was warm, delicious and filling. I was pleasantly surprised. I definitely could’ve shared…but I didn’t. I will definitely come back to try more from their menu. Generous portions and I honestly thought it was priced fair considering the state of the economy. Very friendly staff too which is always a plus.

Really made me want to go to Greece. The food was even more delicious in the restaurant. We got the platter that had all the meats and was so good! They also pour a good amount of wine per glass. Will be back time and time again!

Good food, but if you order over the phone and they tell you it’ll be ready in 20 minutes , rest assured it will take double that. Happened to us twice, was told they had a lot of online orders. FYI , not positive experience / expectation setting here. Won’t be back.

Visited this restaurant yesterday for the very first time. It’s a beautiful intimate restaurant with the most amazing Mediterranean food I’d ever tasted in the Jacksonville area. We all ordered the chicken kebab platter which was simply exquisite. The chicken was extremely savory and the rice melted in your mouth. Since the platter included a cup of soup we went for the lentil soup which was thick & creamy and with the perfect balance of herbs & spices. Their pita bread was warm and soft which made it taste even heavenlier when dipped in their tzatziki. If you’re looking for a place with truly scrumptious Mediterranean food, wonderful atmosphere and great customer service then your search is over. I would definitely recommend this restaurant in a heartbeat! ♥️🤗♥️

Great food at a good price and huge portion sizes. Most of our party aren't able to finish their dinners due to the size. That makes the price an even better deal considering the amount of leftovers, which means seconds meals at the same price.

Was looking online for something to healthy to eat and this place came across. So glad it did. Absolutely amazing food and service. The inside of the restaurant has a very cute theme and set up to itself. The only thing they could have done a little better was give more tzatziki sauce with the platter. Casual dining experience that is coupled with great food and service . I do like the seating arrangements especially as you can choose a table in the nook. Unhurried, and satisfying! Food portions are generous and can accommodate the tastes of the healthiest! The baklava cheesecake( not pictured) was a nice and unique touch at the end

This is becoming one of my new favorites. I’ve been here twice and I can tell that they use quality ingredients. The lamb chop meal is 10/10. The Greek salad & hummus is very delicious - the pita is fluffy & moist truly like none other. I’ve had the lamb chop meal before but today was my first time trying the lentil soup and as of today it has become my favorite soup of all time- it’s so savory and smooth. The Turkish coffee is fantastic too, very lovely taste and I love that it’s not acidic. Everything was so refreshing and I’m honestly falling in love with this place.

I like to be fair and and also like to support small businesses as I myself am a small business owner but this place made that difficult. I stopped by with family about an hour or so to closing, the food wasn’t bad but they definitely rushed us and one of the waiters had a nasty attitude. I was a little bit late to meet the others and expected the kitchen might be closed, no biggie, I just wanted to meet my family. So I sat down at the table, the guy came over with a menu and placed it on the table and said “If you plan to order you better do it now because the kitchen is closing” in an irritated tone, I told him I was good and he responded with “what did you say?” I repeated myself and said that I was good and he eyeballed me up and down and stood there for an awkwardly long period of time until I initiated eye contact with him and he continued glaring for another few seconds before walking off. This made for an extremely uncomfortable experience and I will never be back here and won’t ever give them my business again.

The food was very good, mediterranean dishes. The owners are very friendly and helpful and the restaurant environment is cozy, with an ethnic feel to it. Quiet music playing.

The food is excellent and is probably my second favorite greek spot now in Jax after the Olive Tree in san marco. I had the lamb gyro bowl and was full halfway thru but just kept eating because it was so good. Great portion size on the bowl and reasonable pricing. The wait staff was attentive and friendly. Decor is also very nice. This place is a hidden gem for sure and now that I live over here I'm sure I'll be back plenty.

Please do not waste your money!! I ordered medium rare Beef Kabobs.. Paid extra for Greek Salad.. received well done beef in a Gyro. I called to ask for proper order.. Manager! Extremely Condescending! The past three years .. I have ordered and took my mom from Spain.. I also envited my son and Valenzuelan girlfriend. Absolutely in Shock the way Management spoke to me 😳

Stopped in for lunch on a whim and so glad that we did. The food was delicious. I had the Moussaka and wanted to keep eating after I was full. Every bite was a beautiful experience! I do not know how else to describe it. The staff were lovely and everything felt like a small family gathering. This may be my favorite Jacksonville restaurant. My compliments to the owners and staff for the great job they are doing. Sorry there are no photos, I was too busy enjoying my food.

Bodrum is a very special restaurant because any restaurant can have good food but Bodrum has it all! Food, atmosphere, staff makes you feel at home, i have been there many times and i will continue to go there because i have never been disappointed!

Best lentil soup I’ve ever had.

Up to last week, we had only eaten take-out from Bodrum. I thought I liked it then, but I LOVE it dine-in. We had great service and a cute spot in a not-too-crowded dining room. Our meals came with soup - we tried one of the chicken and one of the lentil. I think the lentil is better seasoned, but my husband doesn't usually like soup without meat in it, so he preferred the chicken. We also got appetizers of a side shepherd's salad (my favorite item on the menu) and the sigara borek - the Greek version of fried cheese sticks. Order them! The creamy chicken was hands-down the best meal I've had at a restaurant in ages. I couldn't believe how pleased I was with the meal especially since I didn't order for myself, but I asked the server to pick between several options. My husband got the Bodrum platter and was pleased with everything.

We had the lamb Gyro, it was good, felt like it could have used a little more flavor in comparison to other gyros I’ve had. Came with French fries, they were good. It would be nice to have more of a traditional choice here when it comes to sides. The coffee and baklava were excellent! We will definitely be back to try more dishes!

My plate didn't survive because I ate it so quickly. But I'm posting this review to tell you the baklava cheesecake... Amazing and nearly life-changing. Worth a detour.

I was really looking forward to the chicken gyro I ordered through UberEats I had seen all the raving reviews from customers & didn't want to go out in the rain. However I was very disappointed with the quality of the food I recieved. The chicken gyro was dry and had wilted onions peppers lettuce and tomatoes in a thin layer soaked in the pita and the meat had zero flavor. It smelled like stale onions and made me instantly nauseous. The tabouli salad was also very bland no flavor the best item I ordered was as side greek salad. I am so disappointed this makes me never want to eat there. I don't know if it is better in person but this was one of the worst first impressions ever! I tried to call to talk to a mgr but no one answered the phone. Very very upset now I have to go to bed hungry!

Just recently visited Jacksonville. While looking for a restaurant to eat at, I came across Bodrum Mediterranean Kitchen. I love trying new foods, and this seemed perfect. Why all of Jacksonville is not coming to this little restaurant in a strip mall is beyond me. The food was so good we were talking about it for days. If you are looking for Mediterranean food and authentic Mediterranean food, you must not leave Jacksonville before coming here. It's just a little place with huge flavor. After ordering, they first serve you with a cup of complimentary Lentil Soup. If anything, stop in for this soup. It will blow your mind! For the appetizer, we ordered the Falafel. Very good. I ordered the Lamb Chops for my entrée. It was the best I've ever had. They don't overload it with rosemary or mint. It's just amazing grilled lamb chops. It comes with fresh pita and fixings. I can't believe how good it was. We also ordered the Veggie Bowl and Creamy Chicken. It was like Mama was back in the kitchen cooking up dinner. If I lived in Jacksonville, I would be here all the time. Very clean restaurant. The bathrooms we also clean. It is very well decorated with a great vibe. It was an overall excellent experience! Do yourself a favor and check out Bodrum!
