Love watching our fur baby play with others! Clean. Safe. Pleasant staff. My only negative opinion is that compared to the big dog yard, the small dog area is quite lacking in size and atmosphere. No trees, little shade, no water play feature. Could have used more care in planning for the smaller dogs.

Another gem in Neptune Beach, this is the best dog park in Jacksonville. The staff, members and visitors are all so kind, with a genuine love for dogs and their owners. I always enjoy coming out to this park and seeing myself and my dog happy and loving life.

Pros: We visited for the 1st time recently and were impressed with the size of the facility, the obstacles and water/splash pad and the bar area. For your 1st time, you will need to have your pets shot records so be sure to have those with you. Bring your own chairs - they have chairs/seating but it is limited and goes fast. The rufferees do a good job of keeping an eye on the dogs and let you know if your fur baby is being a little crazy, haha! Bartender was nice and recommended beer selections and a sample for my fiance. All fur parents seemed to keep an eye on their babies, picked up after them, etc. There are shared water bowls placed throughout along with hoses to refill if/when needed. Parking is a bit challenging so be patient with that. Cons: One of the rufferrees made a snippy comment (about my dog barking at him) when I explained my dog doesn't like when he can't see someone's face when concealed with a large hat and/or mask. I felt the need to explain my dogs barking as I didn't want him to think my baby is aggressive. He is a rescue and learning social skills and we are working on this particular fear with him. We will definitely be back. We also board our babies as well, if its too hot to play outside, etc. but this is our go to when we want to be with them, in an outdoor environment, around other dog parents.

This was my dog's 1st experience at a dog park and we both absolutely loved it. Wish I would have videoed when you could see the expression on his face go from confusion to realization that he had permission to play and run as much as his little heart desired! It was priceless and everyone made him feel so welcomed from the guests to the staff!

Nice and friendly local coffee shop and dog park to hang out. Ice latte was surprisingly tasty for my taste. Even if you don't have a dog, you can still sit under the shade and see dogs run around. Queer friendly! But driving is little hard to find this hidden gem if you are not from the area.

I was threatened by an employee's mom to be killed for my dog playing with water nearby her. This is a crime and a business should not take this behavior lightly. When I notified staff, nothing was done ( they laughed and encouraged her to drink more) and they banned me and my dogs for bringing the unsafe drunken behavior to their attention. This place lacks integrity. I would avoid at all cost. They also stole my money I paid for a membership. Please see picture below of employees mom who behaves very dangerously .

This was such a fun experience for both my dog and I. They are thorough with admission, you'll need your shot records to let your dog play off leash, and there is a daily (or monthly) fee, but it was affordable and well worth it. The off leash play area is so fun and interactive with a splash pad and obstacles. There is some seating for the humans, but I did see others bring their own chairs which was a smart idea. You have rufferees (🤭) in the dog park to help you regulate your pup and the others if they get too rowdy, which is nice to have reinforcements when its a big space and lots of pups playing. There is access to the bar from inside the dogs play area which I thought was fantastic. I had 2 beers; the red ale and the lager, both from local breweries, both were very good. Another great aspect of this park was the live music, food vendor and local artisans who had booths set up for you to look at and shop If you wanted. 10/10 will go back, my pup slept the whole way home and all night!

We absolutely love this place for our 2 pups!! They have WiFi, drinks (beer on tap, cocktails/mocktails), sometimes live bands and cute events every week. I really appreciate the “Rufferees” that work here as well that can read dog behavior. To know we have more eyes on all the dogs is comforting. I wish every dog park was like this!! This is an amazing place to socialize your dogs AND with other owners. There is a small fee to enter and you have to show proof that your dogs are vaccinated. But I have no problem paying a small fee knowing my dogs are well taken care of! I’d prefer other dogs to be vaccinated, especially if they’re all playing and pottying in the same area together. Lots of dogs here are regulars so they’re mostly all playful and social which is great if you’re trying to socialize your dog more. If you live close enough or want to come here often they also have monthly or annual memberships!

I just finished school and moved back here, I’ve taken my dog every single break and summer I’ve had without any problems. She’s a 1 and half years old spayed labradoodle, but today I went late after work and there were only a couple dogs there. I’m guessing she was the only female dog there because every minute if felt like a dog was trying to hump her but all the owner did there due diligence and stopped it right away. Except for these two older ladies that came together whose dog wouldn’t stop trying to get on mine. My dog just likes to run around and kept running over to there dog afterwards and I tried to get her away. While I was doing that they kept making snarky comments like asking where her collar was( she wears a harness with all my info clipped to the front), they asked at what age did I get the dog. I told her 9 weeks and she replied “really” trying to be patronizing and then told if I just walk out and leave the dog will follow me, so basically telling me to leave lol. I got my dog away from hers and then her dog followed and kept trying to hump my dog. He kept trying to in between and around me to get to mine. She came over and tried to get her dog a away who was clearly way older then mine and he didn’t listen at all. So I reciprocated what she said to me earlier and asked what age was the dog when she got him and she just looked me probably embarrassed. After she finally got her dog away I decided to leave just cause I didn’t want to deal with all of that. While I was leaving my dog had to be pee by the bush and I saw her talking to one the employees who watches the dog and heard her continuously talking about my dog and asking about me and the employee responded he isn’t here often, I haven’t seen a problem before. I went over and kindly asked if there was problem with my dog. Which I don’t know how there could be obviously my isn’t going to turn in Jackie Chan and kick her dog away that was trying to jump her. When I went up and asked they looked surprised and told lie that they were talking about dogs in general probably not knowing I was listening since it was dark. I don’t want to say that lady was racially profiling me but I can say that was very displeasurable and weird experience that I haven’t dealt with in a long time and it definitely makes me feel weird about bringing my dog to Brew hound even though I signed up for the monthly membership.

My little pup and I have fallen ‘head over paws’ in love with BrewHound! The place is beautiful, the space is fantastic!… The owner and the staff are absolutely superb. You can always count on the on-site peace keepers (they are called ‘Rufarees’;) to monitor the doggies and make sure it’s a very safe space. Really, I can’t recommend it highly enough. Oh yeah, they also have a great selection of craft beer and coffee drinks and a laid-back place to just chill out and watch the doggies even if you’re running solo.

Friendly staff with Rufferees that monitor pups if you are caught up in conversation and not paying attention to your K-9. Nice selection of beer and clean nice bathrooms. My mini bull terrier 🎲 highly recommends as well!!! I haven’t been here in a couple years and when I arrived they wouldn’t let me in without proof of vaccines. I tried to convince Annie in the booth but she wasn’t budging 🤣 The Bordatella vax is required now and fortunately 🎲 was current and up to date! That Vax is also required at Camp Bow Wow which is where I leave him when I go to the Rockies every season 🏂 🏔⛷ This park is top notch and I highly recommend🤘🏻

Great place to take your dogs! Make sure if you aren’t a member that you bring in your vet paperwork so they can check it. Your dog also needs to be spayed or neutered which is really smart. It’s basically a huge playground for your dogs that you get to hangout and drink at! The drinks are good - beer on tap and the wine in a can is surprisingly refreshing.

You are ultimately in charge of your own dog, but it is nice there are the referees there ready to jump in when needed. Me and my pup both love brewhound! They have different events, local beer, a mini water park for the fur babies, and more! But the thing that really stands out is the staff. My dog has a bit of a fascination with the hose and it has stopped us from going to parks in the past but not here! They have always been SO accepting of him (even though he just wants to be sprayed by the water lol). It can get annoying but they have never made either of us feel bad about it. I also want to note something that happened to us this week. As dog owners who choose to bring our fur babies to a dog park, we understand that there is a reasonable amount of risk associated with that. That being said, we had an incident where another dog came at mine resulting in a few punctures and a cut on his muzzle. Obviously this is not ideal BUT it does happen and is not uncommon when you’re in a park with lots of dogs. Brewhound does a great job and minimizing the frequency of these instances and has lots of “Rufarees” watching the dogs. I really want to talk about how INCREDIBLE the staff was when this happened to us. We experienced overwhelming support and care. There was a Rufferee present when the incident happened because they truly have eyes everywhere (sadly I am not sure what his name was). He made what was a difficult and scary situation much more manageable. He did not rush us out of the park but once we gathered ourselves, he led us to a quiet area outside the play zone. He cleaned my dog’s injury very thoroughly with antiseptic and was patient with him. He let us sit back there to finish our drinks and even brought my boy an ice cream to distract him from what was probably very painful. He then went to check on the other dog/owner. I can imagine where someone could have that negative experience and not bring their dog back to a park or even go as far to wrongly blame the facility. Having incredible employees that are understanding, express genuine concern for our beloved pets, and take action to solve the problem at hand is invaluable. I can not recommend this park enough for being as safe as possible, responsive, and just a boat load of fun!! We will be back :)

What a cool spot in the Jacksonville area to bring your dogs, your friends, have a great coffee or fancy coffee beverage, a beer or craft brew and listen to music, hang out and have a fantastic time. Food available, very clean facility, no doggie poo smell and even cleaner restrooms. Great staff, including rufferies... because just like people, doggies don't always get along... but they do get over it quicker 😆 This is a pay to pay business so check out their website for more information on that. I highly recommend taking a look. They have a small dog area as well, very accommodating staff and a great place to bring your dog, lawn chair and just enjoy the fun of them playing. Editing my review for a few reasons. Brewhound was our dog park of choice, but lately the staff has rotated out and the familiarity with the rufferees and batistas changing has made it uncomfortable at times. Many of the regulars I was used to seeing stopped coming to the park, and some were even being accosted for their dog's usual behavior. Definitely worth checking out, and seeing if it's a good fit for your dog! But there are definitely other options if it's not the right fit.

I highly recommend BrewHound Dog Park + Bar to anyone looking for a fun and unique place to spend time with their furry friend. P. S.: Unfortunately we were not permitted to go to BrewHound anymore since my Rottweiler is not neutered and I think the policy is that from 10 or 12 months on your male dog has to be neutered. But we will always share that first year and are so grateful for the safe socialization my Grogu got courtesy of this amazing place. A little bit of dog heaven on earth ❣️

Brewhound Dog Park is a wonderful playground for pups! We have been taking our 5 month old Pug to socialize him with other dogs and people, too! He has a blast. Brewhound is very organized and efficient. The rufferees are watchful and patiently professional when settling disputes. 😁 We always enjoy the experience of being surrounded by happy dogs. What's not to love! Plus, Brewhound offers delicious coffees as well as adult beverages in a lovely, clean setting. They spoil us!

It got pretty hot the day I went, and there’s not a lot going on for the humans, but the dogs have a blast. Very clean place, with attentive employees walking around the dog area. I just wish the bar had more options, like real liquor not a bunch of IPAs. Even the soda they have isn’t really soda, they only sell these probiotic sparkling juice cans (oli pop or something like that? it may also have been sugar free. it was gross 😭) and they don’t sell food? Just felt very bare bones for a bar. It’s basically a $10 dog park with hoses and sprinklers and pools and stuff. Which I honestly don’t mind! I just expected it to be… more? like there’s no indoor seating, there’s no other building, it’s just a big grass field with a fence around it and a wooden half-bar that mostly sells beer.

We have been to Brewhound several times and it has always been a joy to visit. We have a border collie that tends to herd other dogs, “Tel” was super observant and professional with her to ensure her safety as well as our husky. We really appreciate the staff and everything they do to keep the peace.

If you have a dog and it’s up to date on shots and fixed, definitely hit this place up! They have daily passes, monthly and yearly passes. It’s a little pricey but it’s such a fun place to hang out and grab a drink. They serve local beer and coffee and sometimes have specials. I am not kidding when I say their drinks are for some reason so much stronger than normal. Everyone I’ve talked to has said they feel it more on a single drink there than anywhere else. They don’t even serve any liquor. The dogs have fun, and in the summer when it’s hot, they have misters to cool everyone down. There is some shade from trees and canopies as well. They have movie nights and live music every week. Holidays are fun because they usually have events as well. They sometimes have vendors that bring food or adoption days on Friday. Bring your own chair when it’s busy unless you want to stand. It’s a great place to hang out and meet people!

Great relaxing place to take your dog! It's very clean. Let your dog run around with the other dogs while you sit and relax. I like that I can pet all the friendly dogs that come up to me. Nice people to socialize with also. Can also have a beer while you're there. Wish I lived closer. I'd be here several times a week.

Unique dog park bar. Need to register and buy a day pass or membership to enter the off leash dog area or stay on leash at the bar. The dog play area is all outside so would not be great on a rainy day, but is great for any other day. There's a small area for small dogs. Large area for all dogs.

This was my first visit here. Overall I had a good experience. There is generally a lot of dogs, so hopefully if you come your dog is comfortable with so many pups. My only complaints are the prices for the “brews”. It seemed a bit pricey for $10 plus for one seltzer drink. The parking isn’t great and can be muddy. There is a cute trailer with dog treats to stop by. There was a pretty strong smell of urine IMO, although I know they try hard to keep the area clean it’s hard to I’m sure with so many pets. EDIT: in response to the owner: I came on Wet your whistle Wednesday and we got the special and was only served one drink. It was very confusing. I enjoyed coming here but the two drinks I bought for me and my guest was definitely over $20.
