This bar has a nice selection of cigars. You can enjoy it their or take them with you. They have a nice bar to sit and enjoy your cigar while having a drink. The staff have always been very nice in each of my visits.

The server/bar tender was not friendly and was not interested in giving an experience I'm accustomed to receiving at local cigar lounges. When asked how owner, his response aaa "alive and kicking"... did wonder how we knew him... just rude and unfriendly.

Walked in, a bunch of good ol boys at the bar. Bartender in dark glasses in a dark bar. A bad Quinten Terantio scene. Walked out immediately. Bad vibe to be sure!

What happened to this place? I remember when it was a much classier joint. Last night it was just a bunch of kids at the bar and outside bringing their own drinks and just total chaos! The bar was playing rock music and it just didn't feel like a cool place to chill anymore. Also, I remember when it was just girls that worked there, hence the name Island Girl. They were classy, polite and knowledgeable about the different types of cigars and drinks. They used to come to your table, or wherever you were sitting and ask if you needed anything. Unfortunately, that service no longer exists. All around that place had awesome vibes. It's a shame what it has turned into. As much as I used to like that place I could say that I'm probably not going back anytime soon.

Watch your receipts. We were over charged for a cigar. They charged two and half times the shelf price.

Stopped in during a business trip. Above average selection of cigars and all were priced fairly. The cool part of this place is the location. Good service and selection of beer and wine. It is quiet and cool. I'd recommend it.

If this is your kind of place - it's not for everyone - then it is perfect! The service is outstanding, but the atmosphere is unequaled. Engaging and friendly but never loud, great selection of drinks and wines, and a cigar for all tastes. Whether you're sitting at the bar or in a leather couch, you'll be comfortable. You'll be glad you stopped in. If you want to sit and enjoy the atmosphere, look at the higher end wines, look for the better cigars and enjoy.

Haven't been for about a year, went last night and tonight. Service, selection and prices on point. Last night bartender was awesome (she seriously went out of her way to find the cigar I wanted when I was fine getting something else). Tonight, different bartender didn't seem like she wanted to be there and then when I got a bad cigar wanted to blame it on the cut instead of replacing it (seriously, I only smoke one kind).

I usually love comming here but today I felt a bit like I shouldn't have even stopped through. I just wanted a few drinks on my only day off, the bartender started off being really nice, but because someone else did something wrong (lit a cigar without paying for it) I felt like she took it out on me. Not sure if or when ill be back.

The perfect place to catch a vacation vibe and it's only steps away from the beach. The bartender was very sweet making suggestions about different things to try. They have a fair selection of wine, beer, and cigars to choose from and the atmosphere is very chill. They even have a few games that you can play while you are there. We will be back next time we are in the area.

The atmosphere, the friendly people, and the staff rocks. Great cigar selection and Devin made the recommendation to try the ‘Our Father, who art thy Pineapple’ and was a great beer to have with my cigars. Had one cigar, walked around, ate and came back for my number two cigar. Highly recommended! Just before I left the first time, the espresso with cream and vanilla was the cake on the icing. I come to Jacksonville at least twice a year and this is a go to spot to relax. Close to the beach, walking distance from several shops and restaurants, as I said before, make this one of your stops! Thanks Island Girl!!!

Selection and hospitality is superb every time I there. Always my first stop when coming into town for business!

I don’t go to I.G to smoke Cigars as I can do that without travel or added expense. I go to I.G. to smoke a Cigar because the Community of Cigar Smokers I find at I.G. is tantamount to a Norman Rockwell of real Americana with a virtual cornucopia of patrons who include just about any and all Professions. The atmosphere is clean, professional and consistent. As a matter of fact, I take my Son there on occasion as it’s a Cigar Family. Owners are a Class Act and selection is the biggest I’ve found in Jax. It’s a “ hands on” small business that values relationships. Lets be honest, you can buy a cigar just about anywhere but you can’t buy staff-chemistry. The ladies are knowledgeable about their craft and I will step out and state they are the BEST trained about the products than any Cigar Bar Ive had the pleasure to visit. If you go after 10 PM, you may encounter patrons who have “ had a few” and can be noisy as I.G. Is located in a very popular Bar- Restaurant environment. However, the Staff does not tolerate imbeciles or encourage excess. Kudos to the Owners for having such a wonderful grasp of their genre and clientele. Cheers !
