Surprised at the ratings. Both of our meals were bland and mediocre at best. Neither of us finished or bothered to take home the leftovers. Our server didn't bring the cheese dip we asked for, but it was on our bill. They did remove it when we pointed it out.

Out of asking at probably 100 restaurants "are dogs allowed on your patio?", I finally got a "no" in response here. This place was a disappointment. Every other patio has allowed dogs, no kidding.

There in a busy Cinco De Mayo staff was still friendly and quick. Food was great, Margaritas even better!

We sat on the patio and had a great time! Top shelf strawberry margaritas were great and we got free shots! Prices are as reasonable as any Mexican restaurant.

Food is good and so is service. Only drawback is it can be very loud when busy.

Excellent food, horrible customer service. They messed up our order, refused to give a credit and refused to deliver the missing items. Said I could give him my name and phone and he’d give me a store credit for their mistake. I’m in a wheelchair, so going to his store to get my possible credit is impossible. So much for great customer relations.

Tonight was our first night ever trying it and we live right didn’t the street. Food was great, margaritas were spectacular, and Ramon (our waiter) was phenomenal. We will definitely be going back!!

After recently moving to the area we could not find a Mexican restaurant that was above average. Our last try was Casa Del Lago and it did not disappoint! Clean great atmosphere, food was outstanding and the margaritas were very good!! We'll be back

They have done a fabulous job on the old Firehouse Grill. The food is absolutely delicious. The margaritas are beyond phenomenal. Last but, definitely not least,the service is top notch. Update: 2023 Had a magnificent dinner with fiance and daughter tonight. Still an amazing restaurant

Small portion,not very tasty..minimal beef chicken in meal. Loud atmosphere can't hear myself or who I'm with. They took my credit card when I was ready to pay and never came back, I had to go find them ,they didn't even know they had my card, so they had to look for it. This place is not for me.

This is our all time favorite Mexican restaurant. We come here weekly and are never disappointed. My husband usually gets the same thing every time but I switch it up a bit and it's always delicious.

Hands down the best Mexican restaurant in the area !!!! Even the corn chips and salsa are top notch. No other restaurant comes close to their tamales, a favorite of mine. I have also had their burrito bowl alsk very good. I would recommend giving them a try

Had an awesome lunch here! If you’re stuck between what Mexican place to check out, Casa Del Lago will not disappoint! Food was very good, hot and fresh! I had the chicken and steak fajitas. The meat was juicy and had a good bit of flavor. Service was awesome as well! Highly recommend!

I love it here. All of the staff are fantastic, and provide great service. The food is so good. Try the fish tacos with corn tortilla or hard, yum. The Mexican coleslaw is so good, which goes perfectly on the fish, and to top that off, you get chuncks of pineapple for a topping as well and a mild mango salsa. So, so good!

Un verdadero descubrimiento en mi visita a Akron, Oh. Usualmente no como en restaurantes mexicanos en USA, pero en este la comida tiene un buen sazón mexicano. El personal es atento y muchos son mexicanos, los costos son promedio de los restaurantes y las porciones son de buen tamaño. Tiene una terraza que en primavera-verano es muy agradable. Muy recomendable si quieres probar comida mexicana en USA.

My buddies and I stopped around 8 pm for an "after meeting meeting". Even though we only wanted beers, the server was very friendly and attentive and kept us well supplied with chips (and beer). Although we only had guac and queso that night, the menu looks terrific. Lot of choices, reasonable prices. I will be going back to eat.

For just a couple more dollars per entree, I think you're getting a little more quality than other local Mexican restaurants. Been open for about a year and this was first night I visited. Still looks a lot like the old Firehouse, but brighter. Surprise free shot of tequila with each Marg. Had a Carnita burrito and it was LARGE and tasty. Comfort food. Servers work hard here.
