Delicious and the staff were so sweet!!

Great place to get well priced snow cones. $4 for small, 5 for medium and 6 for large. A medium can easily be split between 2 people and they allow 3 syrups for free on each cup. It's very fluffy and well made it's not just crushed ice.

More seating including outdoor shaded seating would be great . Some graffiti art would be great for the inside . Worst thing about this place is that they are closed on Sundays which would likely be one of their busiest days for sure given the church is right there .

Delicious! We went to Hawaii last month and loved the shaved ice with ice cream. Charlie's is the real deal! We loved it.

The shaved ices are so refreshing. I like that I can have sour added to my ice. Sometimes I find the syrups to be a little too sweet straight out of the bottle. In my opinion a little sour gives the fruit flavors a more natural taste.

Really awesome establishment, shaved ice is always refreshing, and their large selection of syrups and toppings always allow you to experiment and find what you like best. Workers are always very nice and willing to answer any questions. One of my favorite spots in Gainesville whenever I am looking for a snack with friends.

It’s says its closed at 7 but apparently she says she only had enough ice for one snow cone . Mind you it was 4 of us ( and the signs says open but the door is locked . And I really wanted a snow cone ! Update… they contacted me about the problem, and gave me a solution! I will be going back trying them soon.

6/5 highly recommend you get either a scoop of vanilla or condensed milk. What a treat. Real shaved ice is the way to go.

The snowcones were great but the service not so much. I stood there to order for a solid 5 minutes before I was even acknowledged.

they always put enough syrup on the snowcone i would recommend Georgia peach or dreamscicle i always get that when i go

It's a great place to get shaved ice. The Hawaiian decor makes it fun stop for a cooling snack. It's also a great hit with the kids. Plus, the prices seem reasonable.

We had a wonderful experience here. Customer service is wonderful. We were greeted with smiles and man, they are fast! I’m confident you will have a great experience here.

Our first time here and it was delicious and a refreshing treat and the cashier, Norma was very helpful and patient with my daughter ! I know we’ll be back!

Our first time here bc we were regulars at Kona Ice at events. This place is legit way better than Kona Ice. The texture of the snow or ice is way better and softer. Sad we waited so long to discover this place. Also customer service is amazing

This place is awesome! I learned that Hawaiian shaved ice is 100% different than a snow cone! You have to experience the difference for yourself you will not be disappointed!

Super tasty and refreshing. I ordered the Mango and Blue Hawaiian on a very hot day and it was amazing. Staff was very friendly and fast.

Absolutely love this place! My kids always get the "rainbow", while my favorite is Dragon Blood (tigers blood and blue raspberry). My kids know when we're anywhere within a few miles and always ask to go!

Charlie’s Snow Shack never disappoints! There are lots of flavors to choose from plus toppings. My favorite combo is Bob Marley with condensed cream 😋. The staff are always friendly and the prices are affordable.

Charlie’s Snow Shack is a great place to hang out with friends and get a special treat! I got to hang out with my Young Life Capernaum friends and the staff were so friendly! 10/10 recommend!

Great customer service they were clean they were friendly they give great suggestions on something that you don’t know much about very open the proportion is amazing for a good price and it is so good a nice good place to cool down on a hot day

Delicious! And they load it up with flavors. Ice cream scoop in the middle was a surprisingly good addition.

Lovely gem of a place in Gainesville. The menu had far more than just ice and flavors. Also had fun toppings, including ice cream too. Seating outside made of picnic tables with umbrellas. We got the triple flavor option which looked nice at first but ended up as a bit of a mesh pit at the bottom. Next time will go with just one flavor. Will most certainly come again.

While exploring town the sign caught our eye. The inside was super cute and expectations were high. Unfortunately, there was only one person working. He was very slow so there was a long wait time even though there was only two other customers. The shaved ice wasn’t anything above average but I enjoyed it.
