App didn't work at 12 AM so I had to pay double for them to screw up. Employee's can't get a simple request right like put bacon on a burger. I haven't had checkers in years, now I remember why. Fries also have idk extra batter on them? Probably something having to do with laziness. Only acceptable part of the meal was the soda.

It's not a POLICY to sell chili in a cup. They insist on putting it on burgers so when I get home it's soggy. I wanted chili on the side. SMH

The young man that served us at the window was very nice. The automated order messed the order all up, and the man working the kitchensaid "already made good and can not fix." We didn't want a problem so we paid and pulled off the onions on one "burger" and pickles on the other "burger" Best seasoned fries in the world and will always go back

Order was wrong and it wasn't good this time

We placed an order thru the drive thru and when we arrived home, the hot apple pies (2) were missing. They charge for it and also no receipt included in the bag.

Checkers is the bomb. Love their food. The manager Katie always a pleasant visit when she's there. Never had an issue that wasn't solved immediately

Got here at 9pm, I usually get served 12-18minutes wait for years of going here but first time I walked out since it’s already been 30minutes beyond and I only get 30minutes break, all of the new crew seems suspended on looking at the screen instead of being a team and excel to provide fast food service.

Very disappointed. Fries were dumped in a bag. Little to hardly any veggies on burgers.

We were the only car on drive through, they asked us to wait in the other side for our food, I think they went to the Checkers factory to get the supplies for our meals because they took for ever. 🤷🏽‍♀️😒 and the burger was all apart no inside the bread …my chicken 🍗 was extra fried 😣

Absolutely awful day 5 minutes trying to order them they have me drive around another window waited for over 15 minutes for my meal. Absolutely ridiculous

The girl that gave me my food was RUDE nasty RUDE. Never coming back. I didn’t even make her work hard all I asked was for a ice tea and fries I guess that was too much work, to then give me the incorrect drink and get upset with me when I let her know in a polite way. 6/30/24 4:00 pm

The staff is very friendly. Service is a bit slow but it's not because the staff isn't working hard though. They are overwhelmed due to understaffing. A common problem these days. Sending people to the other drive thru window to wait for their orders seems unnecessary and causes confusion because other customers go in that line to order sometimes and mess up the system. And no I'm not an employee lol.

Fries came out hot and fresh and staff was friendly. I don't normally leave reviews unless it's bad service but they asked so nicely for 5 stars and honestly they deserve it so here is yalls 5 stars

Coworker picked up food through drive through milkshake was like water chicken bite boxes had maybe 6 pcs of chicken each both so hard that we couldn’t eat .

Was asked if I was going to have a heart attack....huh? Lol pulled up to grab a Door Dash, arrived maybe 30 seconds before I was handed the order. Maybe a previous dasher or customer was giving her a hard time?? Not sure but I think after employee realized I had no idea what she was talking about, all good, just was funny. I apologize for the jerk you thought I may of been. Hope I don't get a heart attack anytime soon haha. Employee was a nice cute employee wish I got the details of what had happened. Thanks again for getting Hannah's order out quick. If anyone reads this, please be nice to everyone and treat everyone as you would want to be treated. :) also, tip your drivers! ;)

Picked up food for a friend. Service was great. Prices were reasonable.

I had the best time and experience with Tyrus and Max. The were so kind and lovely. they took care of us and made sure we were fed and loved. we love them❤️❤️

This checkers was really good. The freshest I've ever tasted in a long time and I've been to checkers up and down the state of FL. Nice teenagers in there making it and was good service. It took forever though but was well worth the wait! Better than Gainesville and South Florida checkers. Next time I'll take a picture. That burger was so delicious and fresh. Too bad there's no checkers in lake city! Went on friday during rush hour. Order was perfect. Nice spots to park and eat also under a tree many thanks. Please keep your trees for shade.

The place needs a thorough clean in and out. Cashier, although efficient, lacks personality. Even a tip didn't get a smile. French fries are good. hotdogs 🌭 are good, but way too much ketchup and NO relish.

Awful awful awful!!! Slow service! Food wasn't what I ordered( probably because the drive thru is all automated) and the food literally made me sick! Avoid at all costs!!

I bought the $5 meal deal,, NOT a fan of the spices chix nuggets, garbage disposal for that!! And not a fan of their French fries, so next time will get another burger special only!!!

Food is just okay, nothing to write home about. I had the fish sandwich and an ice cream cone. I made my order to go, waited, waited, waited .... I finished my entire cone then asked them to check on my sandwich. They said it would be a few minutes yet. I heard the cook say, I dropped it on the floor, I am making a new one now. All tasted good.

The service is good, and they have all the fast food you need reasonably priced.

The area where you could eat is very filthy. The inside of the kitchen looks filthy.

Their timing is kinda slow. But the cheese cake sliders are AWESOME.

This place is so hit or miss, but lately it’s been entirely miss. Ridiculously long waits just to get your food and find out they didn’t make it right. Every single time. It’s understandable if the place is busy; but this happens regularly when there’s no one there. Even when they do in the rare occasion manage to make your food correctly, the quality is disappointing. Bacon is undercooked 9/10 times. Burgers are dry and taste like a 2000 year old sandal. Fries are colder than a corpse in snow, and the bread is soggy and sad. I just want a quick dinner after a bad day, only for Checkers to mess up my food, again. I will say however, I’ve never had an issue with an employee. They’ve been kind and never had an attitude that I’ve witnessed. I just wish their food was as good as their hospitality.

Food was excellent. Be careful with the drive through, the entrance is not next to US41 .

No receipt given. No straws given. Special order (no onion, no ketchup) ignored. Cold fries- manager rectified the situation but a smile goes a long way... she did not have one.

When I went they didnt get my order correct. The workers seemed aggitated when i had to take my order at the window. There were vapes in the area next to the foods. And they were extremely slow. The food was good.

AVOID. Went there yesterday and ordered a sourdough double. Spent five hours last night on the toilet. Severe diarrhea. Food poisoning.

I placed a very simple order for three orders of fries and two orders of mozzarella sticks but only received two orders of fries. I called the restaurant six times to let them know but got no answer. I ended up calling the corporate office, and then the manager reached out to me. She apologized and was absolutely lovely and offered to replace the whole order. I went back the next day with the receipt and explained what happened and again only received two orders of fries and one order of the mozzarella sticks. I couldn't believe that the employees couldn't fulfill a very simple order even with the receipt, which I verified had everything I asked for on it. They ultimately got it right, but was it ever hard getting all five items. The food was good but they really need to work on the service.

Seriously, the best mozzarella sticks! And the marinara sauce...Yum!! Just went thru the drive thru and so happy. Hot crunchy cheesy mozzarella sticks! GO GET SOME!!!

The doordash driver got there at 1:44 and waited at the window into 102 when the employees finally acknowledged that he was there. And that was before any of the other cars pulled into the parking lot. Then they say that they have absolutely no soda. And it'll be another 10 minutes for my order to be ready. The order was placed at 1231 I was supposed to be here in 25 minutes and the people were completely rude, said they just couldn't handle all the customers. This restaurant is a joke. I understand being short staffed, but that is not an excuse to ignore customers for over twenty minutes.

I got a ice cream Sunday and it tasted like cleaning solution so we took it back and got another one and it tasted like cleaning solution that's the only way to describe what it tasted like just had a funny taste to it the rest of the food was alright I guess not the greatest

You order from a robot that continuously tries to upsell you. The fries are amazing but the burger tastes exactly like the cheap burgers you cook at a family bbq and the fish sandwich tasted freezer burnt.

I accidentally went the wrong way and apologized the guy said a derogatory term.

The garlic fries had way too much garlic, forgot to give me sauce for my chicken, and kind of seemed like the employees were high on something. The chicken bites are alright. The regular season fries and chocolate milkshakes are good. I wouldn't go again honestly.

Double Checker Burger w/cheese is a decent quick service burger. I wish they made one with a larger, better quality patty, rather than just two of their flimsy single meat patties.

Workers are amazing and very friendly and kind. Food is always made fresh and hot and good. Very clean all around and inside plus bathrooms.

Messed up 2 out of 3 orders the guy running the register was really trying his best and kept his composure after learning that most everything was wrong and that they left a fry out of our order. Food was nat that great, was just thrown together so it was messy as hell. But the server did great fixed what he could and was extremely nice.

The fish sandwich was like cooked sawdust. The fries were limp and soggy The pickup lane had trash and garbage in it.

First (and last) time to a Checkers. The set up for the drive thru and ordering are absurd. When you place your order, you're talking to a recording. You can't ask questions or make a correction. I had a 3 second delay between words and it closed me out and went silent. I finally pulled up to the window to finish my order. Once I finished ordering the gal told me to circle around the building and wait in a second drive thru but this time the window was on the passenger side. They gave me my order through the passenger window. ?? The drive thru lanes are so narrow that my truck barely fit. Then I got home and half my order was missing. The rest of the food was terrible. Overcooked, unoriginal, sloppy, and tasteless. Low quality....even by fast food standards. The employees were super nice and friendly so that part was good.

I visited this restaurant location,there was no line at the walk-up window. I placed my order, my food came out quickly and was made correct, no problems with my visit.

Strange chicken fingers, the burgers are okay, fríes are great and strawberry icecream is nostalgic as it reminds me of Push-Up sherbet. Walk up or drive thru to order and sit outside at the picnic tables.

Checkers is always a good choice it's the only choice really in venice late at night the new robotic waiter that tKes your order at the drive threw I's kinda creepy bur not the worse thing I've seen in a day in sarasot the staff is aLways quick to serve you and usually pretty upbeat and friendly tell them I sent you and they won't care lol but it l make ya smile oh yeah its setup to service there drive threw those that stand in the very short line out front sit for a long time before getting there food I think there required to keep the cars moving so it doesn't get backed up if you wanna get out and stretch your legs do it after you pick up your food

Friendly staff, got our very large order right the first time.

My initial experience sucked. I went only to get my lil one a hotdog. The AI ordering system was horrible and I thought the price I paid was higher than menu price, but moved up to pickup and drove home to eat. When I got home half my meal was missing and not my half. Fortunately, we shared but I called Checkers because I either wanted my money back or my food. Rebecca called right back and offered for us to come back and she would replace the whole order. She kept her word and we had our meal today. As far as the food, its fast food I'm not eating it for nutritional value, but it was hot and we enjoyed our meal at the outside tables.

Horrible experience we were told to wait for our medium to larger order by the window so my husband turned towards the left side of the building where THERE is another window to then be yelled at by one of the other employees and told to park in the “f$@king parking lot! What Horrible Customer service we always came here but NO MORE!! And I will be posting this on my Facebook page also of this horrific experience!

2 for $13 Big Buford last night was a BIG disappointment. The “burger” patties were paper thin and looked NOTHING like beef. I took a bite and spit it out. Threw away both “burgers” as I wasn’t quite sure what I was even chewing?! The fries weren’t as good as I’ve had at other locations. The paper napkins they put in the bag were white store bought ones you’d find at Dollar Tree. All in all, I was extremely disappointed and wasted $17. I’ll never come back to this location after this experience. What a shame.
