Overall a nice experience. The food was ok. I wanted eggs Benedict...got a hardboiled egg pretty much...Hollandaise sauce is store bought too. HomeFries were a bit bland as well. Decor is lacking, but at least there's something...the only reason we came here rather than another diner...the other diners pages show blank walls, no decorations or anything. One wall of Betty Boop stuff is better than a boring place with no atmosphere. Waitress was good. Nice.

One of the few remaining heart and souls of Orlando was ripped away. Chubbies was iconic, low priced , and welcoming. One of my favorite things about chubby besides the amazing skillets is it was a place for elderly people to come and have good breakfast at a good price. We ran out of places like this in the city And to watch this company not only purchased chubby but lower the portion sizes and raise prices is insult our wallets, community, and our intelligence. To save everyone time and money, I’ve already eaten here. Don’t come eat here and save your money. It’s not worth it at $12-15. You can go to somewhere better like white Wolf Café, or any of the other local diners. I sincerely hope this place goes out of business for mutilating the community and A once beloved and cherished place. The food is not good at all, especially for its price point.

Food was absolutely delicious and the diner is very nicely decorated! Staff was friendly and service was quick. Will be coming back for sure!

What a great patriotic family restaurant!

Ordered country fried steak with potatoes and salad. The steak was the size of a hamburger, potatoes were sour. Got soup to replace potatoes, soup was in ridiculous small container to go as asked. Salad also to go was very small and got charged extra for the salad. $31.00 for 2 orders. If soup wasn't replacing the potatoes it would have been another upcharge. Never going back. That was very high priced and disappointing 😞

A cute little diner in a strip mall. We both liked the 50s theme. Each booth has its own theme. We were in the Elvis booth! The servers were friendly. The coffee was really good! The food came out looking beautiful and we ate all of it. My husband had the corned beef skillet and I had eggs, hash brown and country fried steak. We will definitely visit again.

They ruined the chubbys restaurant. Increased prices, smaller portions, now charging extra to use debit or credit cards. Now they don't accept american express. I have been going there for 25 years several times a week. I love the original waitresses. Sad to see this iconic place gone.

Great diner with a small town feel. The food was amazing and well priced. My gf and I each were stuffed after eating and it was only $29 for the both of us. Gloria was our waitress and she was lovely. Definitely coming back :)

I was looking for a family style restaurant and found Sally’s. It was exactly what I was hoping for. The food was excellent. I would come back here again. It was very good!

Fantastic little place with great food and friendly staff. Even the patrons talk to each other. Saw many veterans eating breakfast today. Country music playing quietly in the background. But excellent home-cooked food. Be sure to have the grilled biscuit with honey! Awesome small place (maybe 25 tables) and a counter area. Excellent coffee! Thanks to BIDEN-flation, costs are going up but they try to be competitive. GREAT PLACE! Thanks for an awesome breakfast.

New ownership from Chubby’s but still great food. Awesome simply Awesome!! Eddie was our waiter, great service. My wife had Tuna Fish melt was huge with golden crispy fries. I had an omelette with grilled potatoes with onions & green peppers.

Former chubbys. Well telling the truth the staff out front sucks. From Eddy theanager to the waitresses are rude and clicky. They have a lot.of regulars so if you are not part of the gang, you get ignored. Eddy acts like he owns the place and is very much a bully and is so self-centered he tells story's about himself. But the kitchen staff from cook to the dish washer do a great job. The food is the only reason to visit. One of the waitresses is great. Gloria is her name. Make sure to sit in her section if you want good service.

I've been here now ~10 times, all for breakfast. There is usually a small queue, but they have chairs outside if you want to wait in the heat. Their interior is well worn and hasn't been changed or updated in a while. The decor is certainly for a specific demographic, of which I am not. However, the service staff is always incredibly nice and friendly. The food has been 100% consistent and delicious each visit. I will continue to return as long as the service and food remain amazing.

Great little place. I had the Chrissy skillet (corned beef hash!) and it was perfect. Lots of food, good coffee and good prices. Will be coming back here!

Great service. The food was delivered quickly to our table and it was hot and delicious.

Our server was terrific, asked good questions about our orders, and brought our food out piping hot. No sitting in a warmer for this breakfast! Our eggs were over medium and the yolks were hot and runny. Bright yellow yolks that looked like fresh farm eggs. The corned beef hash was crispy on both sides and steaming in the center. Everything was perfectly cooked and delicious.

I’ve been to Chubby’s a few times and I’ve never had a bad experience. Today I had the pleasure of being hosted by miss Gloria and she is outstanding. I had a large party and they accommodated so graciously. Gloria had so much patience and she got all 11 orders perfectly executed. You can’t find that these days. That commitment to her customers coupled with her patience. Omg 10/10. There are so many regulars coming in and out and you can see why. The food was wonderful, the atmosphere inviting and the hospitality is unmatched.

My wife & I went to Chubby’s for breakfast today! It was outstanding! We ordered a Philly Omelette, a Lucy Skillet and a chocolate chip pancake w/ powdered sugar & whipped cream and it was amazingly delicious! It’s like going home to mom and she’s making a killer breakfast! From the food, to the service, the staff was super nice. If you crave a good breakfast, I’m telling you to come here to Chubby’s! You will not regret it! We will be back again! To the staff at Chubby’s, you guys are AWESOME! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Newly discovered little diner that looks like it has been there a while! Betty Boop (a big collection of dolls) and Elvis Presley memorabilia adorns the place. The servers are very nice and attentive and the portions big and delicious! The price is also good given how expensive everything is right now. You can't go wrong! Well definitely come back!

Really enjoyed this local spot. We ordered the French toast and the meat lovers omelette with hash browns and bacon. Food was excellent, our server Gloria was very attentive and the decor made for a fun atmosphere.

The cutest diner, you feel and are treated like a local. Just moved to the area a week ago and I’ve already been back 4 times. The have the best biscuits and gravy.

My wife randomly found this place via Yelp and we figured we would give it a shot. Definitely a new place for us to go. They have a very friendly atmosphere; one where they know people by name and it’s a nice family environment. They also have a lot of cool stuff on the walls to look at (Betty Boop, I Love Lucy, James Dean, etc.). Angela was our server and she was amazing. We are a party of 6 and we all left completely stuffed. Would highly recommend Chubby’s!

I just moved to Florida to take a class and change my career field. This diner is within walking distance, I have been there 3 times so far. As a USMC vet, I like the veteran wall thing they have going. The food is well diner food, which I like. I eat there 3 times so far (still stocking the pantry at home, car in the shop after the drive due to an engine light) I would say there are better places for pancakes, the veggie skillet I had was good and ye olde classic of eggs is nothing to complain about. It isn’t fancy, just breakfast done diner style. I like that, you don’t always need nor want something to post on social media. Sometimes you’re hungry and you want a good serving of comfort.

One of the hidden gems of Orlando. Great little diner with a great breakfast/brunch menu. The service is amazing every time we visit and the food is always fresh. Oh, and you can't beat the price, either. We typically feed our family of four (with two growing boys that eat a surprising amount for their size) for around $30.

I think they must've been overwhelmed in the kitchen...very slow, wait to order, wait for food...I ordered a skillet meal and it wasn't hot when it came.. it had shredded cheddar cheese on top and it was right out of the package, not heated or melted at all...very disappointing experience..I had raved about Chubbys and brought her there for breakfast...I had to apologize to her after we left..

My daughter and I tried Chubby's this week. The service was phenomenal and the food was excellent. My daughter had French toast with ham and I had the Corned Beef Hash skillet (I can't remember the name, Chrissy's Skillet, maybe?) and it was so good! Homemade home fries, fresh cheddar cheese, corned beef hash, onions and two sunny side up eggs. It was delicious! We'll definitely be back. I want to bring my husband next time! :)

I searched for a diner near UCF and came across Chubbys. My husband and I walked in and I loved the decoration especially the Bettyboop wall. There were families dining in which was a plus but the sad part was that we felt totally ignored by the staff. We stood by the entrance for minutes with the waitresses passing by and they paid no mind to us. I tried to catch one of the waitresses attention and she just passed by me. Finally I walked to the counter and asked another waitress if we should wait to be seated or would we have to wait. She said we could seat wherever we wanted which we then did. Sat for a bit and nobody was taking care of us. Then the same waitress that answered me gave us our menus and took our drink order. It took a longer time for them to take our order. They made us feel a bit uncomfortable since they were giving better service to everyone else. This was the first time we visited this place. I thought perhaps they had mistaken us with some other people that gave them a hard time before ( this is just me thinking of a reason why we were kind of being ignored). I thought of leaving a few times but convinced myself to stay till the end to find out the outcome. I have to say the food was really good. The food tasted fresh and homemade style. The reason why we ended up not leaving was Angela whom was the only one of the staff to even look at us. Even though the food was good I dont see myself visiting this place again.

Went for an early lunch and had the turkey club and fries. It was absolutely delicious! Reasonably priced! Cannot wait to go back and try the burger!!!! Two thumbs up! More if I had ‘em!!

First of all the place wreaked of dirty mop water the tables were sticky from being wiped down with dirty rags. The food didn't even come out hot it was lukewarm. Never go back in there again.

First time to go here. We love trying little eateries like this instead of chain restaurants. The service was prompt and very friendly. The food came out very fast. Food was great. We loved the atmosphere. Definitely recommend.

Visiting Orlando and stopped by here for some breakfast and it was delicious, good food nice staff, they have a clear respect to veterans, which was sweet to see. Over all a good experience I would highly recommend.

The food wasn't to our liking!!!! I ordered the cherry skillet with sausage. They brought it to me. It look so. I start eating it hoping to get to the meat but there is no meat 1 spoonful of sausage. I was very disappointed and the food and customer service was terrible. I will not be eating here again!!!!! Two thumbs down 👎👎

Service was excellent. What a sweet lady! Food was really like mom's. The booth was a little worn but it is difficult to make profit right now so I'm sure new seating is not in the immediate plan. The food will be worth your trip.
