I've never written a review before, but I had to because of the exceptional service all around. We are from out of town and wanted to try Louisiana food. Both the manager and an employee enthusiastically told us about their favorites (the shrimp and grits). I hadn't had grits before so they let me sample some. They checked in on us while we were eating, and at the end the manager asked if we wanted any beignets. He brought the order out and when we went to pay for them as we were leaving we were told they were on the house! Wish we lived in town so we could come back and support this restaurant! Thank you for your kind hospitality and giving us a great taste of Louisiana!

Was not what we expected. We were thinking the in catfish and shrimp country fish was not catfish, not sure what species.

Upbeat.. modern and home made cheesecake from scratch everyday. Delicious!! Haven't tried anything from there yet but the food looked and smelled awesome. 1st time going and we will be back soon

Food was pretty solid nothing to complain about overall. The bread rolls and the hush puppies were the steal of the show. Customer service was great and the manager or owner was very nice and helpful. Very clean place and a pleasant staff. Overall 9.5/10

My new go to restaurant when I travel to Baton Rouge. They actually deveine there shrimp, where a lot of places do not because it takes time

The manager Steve handled my transaction and he was friendly, patient and thorough. The rest of the staff was very friendly as well and the food was wonderful ❤️❤️‼️

I had the stuff loaded potato with all the trimmings that was the best stuffed potato I ever had I recommend that you go down to Corky's try it you won't be disappointed plus they even threw in some fried fish

I’m from Lake Charles and found this play by accident. OMG what a great discovery. I had the fried pork chop with etouffee’ and rice. When we went to pay, and the Lady had us pull forward to wait for our order because she stated that the chop was too small. And the one they delivered was covered the whole plate. That was a couple weeks ago. I had to come to BR today and couldn’t wait to return here. This time it was fish, shrimp and of course the etouffee’. I can eat 2 times on my plate Thank God I live 2 hours away The service was wonderful so polite and helpful. I love this place.

Cork's Seafood is a true gem for gamers looking for a tasty and satisfying meal before or after their gaming sessions. This casual seafood joint has really made a name for itself by offering up some of the best-fried seafood around at very reasonable prices. Oh, and they have a pac man machine table.

Terrific service, friendly staff, very good food at a reasonable price. The restaurant is very clean and looks nice.

The food was delicious and the service impeccable. My family and I will definitely be going back. Its a quick place to eat with great seafood!

All of the staff here are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the food is pretty good. The fries are delicious. We've come here a few times and every single time without fail we're treated with a genuine kindness that you'll find hardly anywhere else. 10/10 I love coming here

*******UPDATED****** 04/03/24!!!! I hadn’t been in a while and decided to give it another shot this afternoon. I went around 6pm and the staff was courteous. There was a little wait. HOWEVER, the food was DELICIOUS! I ordered a shrimp poboy w/fries and beignet bites! The shrimp were fried to perfection the bread was soft the fries crispy on outside everything was fresh and made to order! To get my food like that I’ll wait the extra time! I’ve had my issues with Corks but it was really good! The picture is from my most recent visit! ************************************************** I have visited this location 3 times. My 1st time was shortly after they open and the food was hot and fresh. The 2nd time was absolutely horrible! My mother and I ordered the Fish/Shrimp special, at the drive thru. The Fish-COLD, Shrimp-COLD, Fries-Cold, No ROLL on either plate and 2 coleslaws were given instead without being asked or informed there were no rolls. My 3rd and last time going, because I was giving it a chance, NO BETTER. I told the clerk to make sure I get hot fish and fry's and explained to her the problem I had prior, she said ok, got my order parked to eat in parking lot, and the ONLY THING HOT WAS THE FISH, I ordered the Fish/Shrimp combo again! Very disappointed! I was really hoping the restaurant wouldn't get to this quality.

The combination of fish and french fries that they served turned out to be rather dull and unimpressive when it came to its overall appeal to my palate, yet despite this fact, I am willing to order it one more time just for the sake of experimentation.

This is a PSA! Get to.Corks! Take your family and friends, the plates are THAT GOOD!!! Fish is always fresh, the portions are hefty, and the flavor is pitch perfect!

If you ever have the chance to go to Cork's, I highly recommend the fried shrimp. The shrimp must have been 16 to 20 count. They were very large and perfectly seasoned. The french fries did not disappoint. 10 shrimp for 12.95 I had the fried fish on a previous experience but did not have a picture to post. It was excellent as well. It had a flaky texture and light flavor, not a gamey or fishy flavor as I've had at other places. Also pictured is the crawfish etouffée. It was excellent. The stew-style gravy was properly done. The rice was perfectly cooked and the green onions were a nice finishing touch. It was also served in a real bowl which elevated the experience. The fried beignet balls were excellent. I recommend them. We did not have to wait long for our food and I did not mind since it was served hot and fresh. The clerk even hand-delivered the food to my table. The clerk was very nice and asked if I needed anything else. I know this sounds strange but the quality of the fountain Coke I got was spot on. Sometimes there is too much or too little syrup sometimes there is too much or too little carbonation. This drink was perfect.

FOOD GOOD!!! I went here for the first time the other day, and the next morning, I woke up with my underarms BURNT. I am positive that it wasn't the food's fault, but I have no one else to blame. I BLAME YOU!!!! Still, food good!!! It's as shrimple as that! Shrimply resharkable!!! One in a krillion!

Wish I could give this place 6 stars honestly, especially for the service that Phil provides. My oh my was this place a special place to be - food was incredible, atmosphere was perfect and you simply cannot believe the hospitality you will get. My first time in Louisiana and I just know I'll be coming back here to spend time with Phil and be so lucky to consume some of that delicious food they make here. Special shout out to the 15 piece shrimp with their special sauce - some kind of sweet and sour type of sauce that was delicious. Highly recommend!

We no longer call it Southern hospitality... we call it Cork's hospitality. This wonderful establishment and its general manager, Phil, hosted our very large party while treating each and every one of us like family. The food came out quickly and tasted great. The fish was fresh, and the portions were nice and large. We could not have imagined a better place to have a relaxed dinner during our one night in Baton Rouge.

Phil is an amazing employee who takes care of a group of 35 hungry students. Bring your family, friends, and everyone you know. I had nothing but a wonderful time and best food of my life. They provided us free food for the large party and stayed open late for us. Felt like family, joked around, and was taken care of. This is the best establishment to be in Baton Rouge!!

The experience was awesome! Shoutout Phil and his entire staff. Service was really great! And the food was even better. They let us enjoy our food 45 minutes after closing with no rush for us to leave. This is one of the best places I’ve eaten in Baton Rouge would definitely recommend! The Korps sauce was delicious! Cork’s is THE place for authentic, delicious Louisiana seafood ! Unparalleled taste snd service in a fast-food setting, unlike you’ll find anywhere else !! I recommend it without reservation. ! (……and their other restaurant is where you’ll find the VERY BEST BBQ you’ll ever sit down to have ! That would be Cou-Yon’s in Port Allen, which is right across the river from Baton Rouge !! You’ll not be disappointed with either restaurant you go to !! I guarantee !!

Just had to stop by one of my friend's best place to eat for our special while enjoying a tasty light meal. Always good and fresh! Maybe it's me, but seem like it taste better and better with every visit. What am I not pleased is by how I hear that specific employees are not being treated well by management.

Catfish tasted like it had been frozen too long. Shrimp large crisp outside nice inside but lacking flavor. Eatteffe was excellent. Not served hot as it should be.

Cork's is the place to be ! The employees are so friendly, courteous and helpful. The food is so over the moon G-O-O-D! The food is fried to perfection, crispy and seasoned, the shrimp are big and tasteful.Cork's is clean, spacious and has a very welcoming atmosphere. The prices are reasonable. Try the fish and shrimp combo. The fried shrimp etoufee potato is highly addictive! Cork's is an excellent choice for date night, lunch, family outing, after church or just because. Try them you will not be disappointed.

I ate at Corks with my husband for lunch and the food was good. I ordered the shrimp platter that came with fries, hushpuppies, coleslaw and a buttered roll and the food was hot, tasty and fresh. The owner was there and we spoke for a short while. He was very pleasant and accommodating while making sure customers had a good dining experience. While this wasn't the best seafood I've ever had, I'd definitely go there again. Also, here's a tip if anyone has a hard time getting to the restaurant, the Circle K parking lot connects to Cork's so you can drive straight across the gas station lot closest to Government Street to avoid crazy u-turns or making the block.

This is what it means to want a specific cajun taste!!! Pull up to the drive thru and get it!!! Where have you been all of my Louisiana life!!!! Fish fries just how I like it. Shrimp didnt taste as if they were frozen or imitation. Everything was on point!!! I had lunch. I was so full didnt even need to have dinner.

I feel in Louisiana in order to receive accolades on food you must be top tier. Something has to stand out. I will first say the hush puppies and Cole slaw were on point. But the fish and shrimp are sub par. I have had way better from a corner store. And definitely not hardy enough to be worth $17. At best it's a $12 plate. I wish I would have tried the potato instead. May return may not. 🤷🏽

Food here is great. Service is wonderful as well. we were inside and they had either the owner or head manager walking around taking people's trash and trays out the way. He was very hospital and inviting. Went out of his way to inform me about substituting the hush puppies next time for another side since he noticed I didn't eat mine. Nothing wrong with them I just don't like hush puppies.

We LOVE eating out at Cork’s. Everything is amazing. The service is excellent, the food is excellent and the atmosphere is also excellent. This is now our “go to” place to eat Whenever we go out to eat. Everyone there goes out of their way to make sure you are satisfied. Anything that is fried can also be grilled or blackened on request.

The taste and quality is superb but since opening the prices have risen and the serving sizes fallen.

Clean and well maintained restaurant- staff was friendly…..the shrimp was really good, the fish was decent- the biscuit was underwhelming- was expecting more I guess- like the spicy seasoning…. If you haven’t had Sam’s Southern Eatery fish you are missing out/ I guess I was expecting the same…. I was hungry and it was decent food- I would recommend the shrimp for sure…

Seafood was great it all was great but my beignet bites was so oily couldn't eat them don't fry fish until the customer orders.

It was our first time eating there. The service was awesome. The woman that greeted us was really nice. Explained everything to us. Suggested how to maximize what we wanted. Once the food arrived we were blown away. So damn good. This place has a bright future. Don't sleep on this place Baton Rouge, you will miss out.

What a wonderful place to get some hot, fresh seafood. Everything we ordered from the menu was delicious. The fried shrimp were especially good! The bright, airy coastal decor was perfect. Looking forward to many more visits in our future!

Food is fresh and hot. Loved the catfish. The shrimp are plump and juicy but don't care for the corn meal batter. Still delicious. Fries are ok. One of the best fast food seafood restaurants in Baton Rouge.

Great place. Awesome etouffee and rice with shrimp on top. Beignet bites were not too great. A little tough. Their sweet tea and lemonade were delicious. I'll be going back to this place again and again. I highly recommend it. The service was super!!

We got a to-go order. We ordered online. The food was good. The dining area was clean. We plan to go back to give it another try and we may try the shrimp and grits or fried shrimp. May favorites: the roll and hush puppies.

I enjoyed my meal. I was very hesitant to give this place a try, but I’m glad that I did. Considering they serve Cajun dishes I think The food could use a bit more spice. Other than that i was pleased with my meal and will be back.

Great place for quick fried seafood that’s seriously tasty

First and foremost let me just say please don’t give customers who order sweet tea their drink first… my food was cooked to order so I damn near drank up that sweet tea before my food came because it was so darn good. Some of the best sweet tea I’ve tasted. Addictive if you will! Secondly, that food was fresh and piping hot. I appreciate that wholeheartedly!! Not only was the food fresh and hot but delicious!! I ordered the etoufee & fried fish , and my boyfriend ordered the fish and shrimp platter. I got to sneak in a piece of shrimp and I must say everything was to die for!! Very delicious food and great service !! I definitely recommend!!
