Great seafood better Cole slaw!

The food is great and service is always good

Our server Tory was pleasant and courteous. We had our food in no time and everything was piping hot. Coleslaw is awesome and tastes like what my Mom used to make. I had the Catfish and fried Okra and wife gets her usual, a burger. Glad we got there at 5:30 before the dinner crowd. Place was filled up by the time we left.

Kennedy was great! The food was good and didn’t take long to come out. I had the blackened salmon, baked potato and green beans. My co worker had fried catfish, baked potato and okra. We also both tried their coleslaw which was very good. My salmon could not used a little more blackened seasoning but that’s all preference. I did love that they had Tony’s Seasonings on the table. If I’m ever back in P.Cola, I will definitely return.

The food was excellent! Our waitress was great. We could have had a problem because the ad for $6.99 fish, shrimp, or chicken does not indicate that it only applies to a side of French fries. There was no mention of this restriction when we ordered coleslaw and cheese grits (which were excellent!), so we were a bit upset when the bill arrived at the full price. Our waitress and management allowed us pay $6.99 but we encouraged them to notify patrons of the French fry mandate.

The food wasn't as tasty as I've gotten before.

I had catfish, oyster combo basket . The food was cooked perfectly and the server named Kennedy was superb. We had the best service.

Fish and oysters are well cooked:crisp exterior and tender, juicy interior. Portions are small for the cost and seasoning barely identifiable.

I enjoyed my boyfriend hamburger steak better than the catfish no taste to catfish except the breading also this is during Christmas where it's not very busy

nobody there during off season but tge catfish wasn't what I expected it wasn't very tasteful except the breading it brought the only flavor to the sandwich. also got hamburger steak it being a fish house the hamburger steak was great

I went out with some friends tonight, our visit to this location was pitiful. While trying to be a little more health-conscious I decided to order the Caesar salad. I ordered the regular Caesar salad and they brought out a side salad. For the price of the side salad I could go to any one of numerous fast food places and get something that would pass for food. The side had less in it than the pre-made salad from Walmart. For the price they charged I expected to at least have that amount of salad. They brought it out in a wide brim bowl. The croutons were out of a bag. The meal my wife ordered was about 1/3 of what you would get at Olive garden. The side of macaroni and cheese was bland and overcooked. Their kitchen needs to get it together.

New bar is being installed and pool tables are on the way. This place is awesome

order the shrimp and oysters plate and got 4 shrimp and 4 oysters and 2 huspuppes for $17.00 dollars. what a rib. will not go back

This location has gone through a bit of a change. The atmosphere is a bit more sports bar, but with the same great food. I like the change.👍

Only negative is when they're too busy to answer the phone. They should have somebody designated for the peak hours

Often when I eat alone as a single woman, I’m treated unfairly. Today was the exception. My server was super sweet and as attentive as I needed. I got fried green tomatoes because I love them and these were some of the best I’ve had. The catfish basket was more than ample and I took food home. All my food was served piping hot and quickly. I will be back!

After six years watching TV commercials where people rave about Dave,'s, finally tried the one on Warrington Rd. Building is old, dingy, dark and neglected. Server was attentive and personable. Fried Catfish overwhelmed by breading; mushy texture and bland flavor. Famous coleslaw was sickeningly sweet. Hush puppies overcooked and flavorless. Liked the baked beans; despite over-sweetness. No healthy side dish options (like broccoli or green beans). For the same price at Cap'n D's, one can get a tasty grilled salmon steak, excellent coleslaw, and a choice of crispy fries, green beans or broccoli, and their hush puppies are super.

When you've eaten at an original David's Catfish House, when there was only one. Others that follow are held at a higher standard. The service and the atomsphere were good, but the food didn't meet my expectations.

1st visit to this place. Food was great, service was good. Wanted crab claws though, no small orders, appetizers was over priced.

Not impressed at all. Was difficult to find. Does not have Good signage.

The hostess refused to seat us where we asked to be seated and then wiped off another table and left it wet. They prioritize to go orders ahead of sit down orders. We waited 45 minutes for our food.
