Cute lil restaurant, small town feeling. Friendly service and good portions. Ordered the mini omlette, perfect size.

Super cute place! Personally I love breakfast time. Had a great variety of breakfast foods to pick from. Wasn't fond of their coffee, but will go back and see if they have tea next time. If your in the area please check them out. Also they have very limited seating if your in a hurry maybe call before you go! Definitely a place to try out.

BEST LITTLE PLACE IN TOWN!!! My sister and I stopped in this past Sunday. The owner and all of her staff are completely awesome, very kind, efficient, smiles everywhere, loved the atmosphere and service. The food is definitely tremendously delicious! We moved here from Chicago a few years ago and Drayton Cafe is just around the corner. Since discovering Drayton it is our GO TO spot for a great lunch or breakfast. The women that run this joint are AWESOME! And yes, I said women, because every time I'm there they are ruling the griddle and tables. Service is always prompt and the food is always delicious. We spend almost every weekend here enjoying their biscuits and gravy breakfast special. For around $6 you get a 1/2 order of biscuits and gravy, 2 eggs, and hashbrowns or meat. All of my favorite breakfast items in one special! The biscuits are lightly toasted and the gravy is rich and creamy without being too spicy. During the week I frequently order BLTs to go - my favorite combination of perfectly toasted bread, crisp bacon, and fresh tomato! I was hesitant to leave them a review because this place gets busy enough on the weekends, but if you are in the area definitely check them out for breakfast or lunch, it's a hidden gem.

Everything was just great! Even though the restaurant was super busy every single member of the staff was moving fast, patient and cheerful! We love to eat here when we come back home to Drayton Plains aka Waterford!

Amazing food amazing people love this place

Finally decided to stop and eat here after passing it so so so so many times over my lifetime. We have been back numerous times! Very friendly service, hot coffee and greasy spoon diner style food. Breakfast food, coneys, chili cheese tots and patty melt are all great. Plenty of locals stop in, so give it a try!

This is by far the best coney in Waterford. Hands down, bar none! I've been eating here off and on for a very long time, and it seems nothing has changed except a bunch of awesome decor. I'd HIGHLY recommend the Kentucky hash, it might be the best thing on the menu! Please keep doing what you're doing! 🔥❤️🥓🍳🍞🥔🧅🫑🐷

I really enjoy this place. The food and service are great but can someone tell the owner the Pandemic is over. You can remove those useless plastic center pieces and open up your counter. As a single person I dislike taking an entire booth when a group of 4 walks in. Please for the love of god remove all the Pandemic garbage and return to normal like 99% of the restaurants.

Nice little mom and pop kinda restaurant. Only open a few hours during the day but the food is excellent. Customer service is by far the best I have had in awhile. Forsure my new breakfast/lunch spot.

Was my go to place but never consistent when spending a fee hundred a month here you would expect better needs updating as well looks like a coney garage man cave with dirty advertising along with the 1960s boring music.

I haven't been able to eat here in months. It's always closed now. No hours posted on their sign either. Now that I'm on their website I can see the crazy short open times. No wonder I can't find them open.

Fabulous! Expertly prepared Real omelettes (made in a pan), perfect hash brown potatoes and just right toast. Comfortable seating and a extremely friendly staff. If that’s not enough to get you to go there, their prices are actually cheap. This place is an absolute treasure.

Fabulous the food is off the hook, prices fantastic, very friendly atmosphere. Been many times and enjoyed every meal I've had there. Outside dining in the summer, I am a happy customer.

I love the Kentucky Hash with raisin toast. Lots of protection against Covid. Plexiglass between booths & tables. Menus posted on Plexiglass. Very impressive for a little diner. Love it! Great and friendly staff!

Waited out front for nearly 30 min for someone to show up and open. very disappointing, used to be a place worth going to, not going to waste my time again. this is the third time this has happened. They are out about 120$ this week, from me alone. literal waste of a good location.

My Wife and I went to Drayton Café for lunch today and totally enjoyed ourselves! The food was EXCELLENT and our server, Cathy was perfect! With so much competition, they do an extraordinary job at taking care of their customers and giving them more than they bargained for. I have been a Board member of the Michigan Better Business Bureau for 24 years and I own a financial services business with over 2,500 clients. I would recommend any friends or clients to Drayton Cafe' and would rate their service and food and big A+!!

Was not impressed with this place. The food was mediocre at best. I question the cleanliness of this restaurant. My coffee cup looked like it was from the customer before me. I sent it back, but my glass of water was filthy also. I don't think they know how to wash dishes here. Very unsanitary... And the biscuits and gravy was not homemade...

Senior menu is awesome opportunity. Wait staff great but so many carryouts (great for them) but sometimes takes a little time to get food. We are patient.

Local Cafe. Excellent food, super friendly service. A bit like going to your favorite relatives house where the patrons are friendly like relatives too. A really fun dining experience.

I've been dining at Drayton Cafe for over 4 years now. They are my goto for good food at a decent cost. The waitstaff is always cheerful and the owners are hands on and friendly. It's fun to walk in the door and be greeted. I've never had a meal that wasn't cooked to perfection, especially eggs! They're so good!

This is a great little spot that you might not even realize is there. I love coming here for breakfast as their food is fresh and cooked right in front of you. It's a real family business with the mother and daughters all working together. Highly recommend

This place is very special always excited to go there with my sister Sue . When we come into town for Kentucky. Great food made with love and at a great price. Breakfast and lunch cant beat it. Owner and fam are awesome. Highly recommended just said I dont have them in the Ville.

Very good food and the wait staff is amazing

I was over charged and my waitress only wanted to give me a dollar off. When I made the order she said that I could substitute French toast for the pancakes that come with the omelette. She waited until I received my bill then told me she was only going to give me a dollar off. It was my first and last time going.

I had the breakfast special with a half order of biscuits and gravy and you can't beat the amount of food you get for the price! Dani is the best waitress- quick to get our order in, made sure our drinks were always full, and very attentive! The coffee was the perfect temperature and had a really good taste to it.

REALLY friendly staff. Locally and privately owned. We like supporting small non-chain restaraunts. Phenomenally reasonable prices. Great burgers. Open til 2, but dont rush u out. You feel like family when u r there. Homemade chilli. Cute little place...

Perfect perfect perfect. Food is always great. Service is always speedy and good. The only thing is I've never seen the bottom of my coffee cup there. 15/10 would eat there again.

I own this place... Haha, just kidding! If you haven't tried this place yet, take the time to stop in and try the "Drayton Burger!" It's delicious. Their sliders are also pretty amazing. I highly recommend trying the Drayton Café if you're in the mood for something different.
