Why filling this out I now have the urge to go to dream that again 🎯 I love this place, my wife worked here over 50 years ago still a great place to go and have ice cream with the kids

Terrible service and bad attitudes. This place has been terrible for me and my kiddo every time I have attempted to go. Tonight we got to the window and it was the same scenario.Ugh. I grabbed my son and we drove to the Springfield location. To save yourself disappointment and to avoid encountering horrible service, just go to the Springfield location. Or any other location for that matter. They're night and day. At least at one of other ones you'll encounter smiling faces and great service. Also, great ice cream made your way.

My wife and I come here all the time to get soft serve ice cream. They have chocolate vanilla swirl and strawberry vanilla swirl and tons of toppings. A place out of time just like my childhood.

Great place for ice cream we were a big party of 10 and we got served quick and the ice cream was amazing. I had a small cone vanilla and chocolate delicious. The area around the store was nice also.

Make sure you bring cash as this location does not accept debit.

The soft serve ice cream here is good and the selection of flavors is massive. The prices are still very reasonable compared to other places. Because of its small location there is not much space to enjoy your purchase on site. Best to take it and go.

This place is cash only and the employees make you feel dumb if you don’t see their hidden cash only sign at the bottom of their building. I brought my kiddos here after a long day at the beach, it was a very disappointing visit for the kids as the employee was rude as soon as we walked up. A really nice lady overheard the conversation and ended up buying all my kids ice cream and told me she had been coming here since she was a child and does not remember it ever being like this. There is a lot of competition out here and this is a terrible way to keep returning customers. I will not be back here and I will let family/friends to avoid this NON FRIENDLY ice cream shop.

I personally love Dreamette, I used to go to the one on green cove springs every day when I worked there. This location is not my favorite, ice creams are awesome but they don’t take any payment method other than cash which is pretty inconvenient considering the time and era we are currently at.

This little iconic ice cream stand is rocking and rolling in this triple digit weather. When it hit 100⁰ I was in the mood for a soft serve treat. Thing is, everybody else had the same idea. The line kept moving rather quickly & I was able to chill with my treat in no time.

Best soft serve I’ve found in Jacksonville! My go to every time is a twist w/rainbow sprinkles. Absolutely delicious. I personally think this OG location is the better than their other locations but it could be in my head lol. This location is cash only. Eat it fast in this Florida heat!

For more than 70 years, this has been my favorite ice cream. As a child, we lived on Post St. and I have fond memories of sharing a Creamette ice cream cone with my dad at this location. I still seek out a Dreamette whenever I want a great soft ice cream. We now have one close by here in Mandarin area.

My wife and I are regular customers, and the ladies who work the window are always lovely, funny, and ready to assist us. They take your order and yell it back so it is easy to catch mistakes should they happen. The desserts are large, delicious, and incredibly well priced for what you receive. My wife and I have spent much more money for less at various other ice cream parlors, and Dreamette really is a step above the rest. To those stating how awful the experience was due to their cash-only practice, there are several large and easy-to-read signs stating this before you ever make it to the front window to order. Their menu, one of three, situated on the side of the building where the line ends has a massive sign in highlighter yellow that states this. The people who have down voted Dreamette due to not knowing have no excuse, and simply didn't bother reading anything considering how many times it is posted all over the building.

So I was out with a friend and a bunch of kids after checking out Christmas lights. I think we picked a pretty bad time to come only because it was freezing and it's all old fashioned so outdoors. It was amazing and the kids all enjoyed it even though they was shivering and eating the cold stuff. The prices are amazing. If you haven't been here you should definitely go and try it out. Cheaper than most chains you can find.

Love dreamette the location on Main Street is my kids & I favorite ice cream place!! Banana split in a cup is my go to & my dog enjoys the pup cup as well. They also take credit & debit cards

Definitely best ice cream in town and it's VERY reasonably priced. I got a peanut butter cheesecake milkshake that had chunks of both them in it (DONT TELL ON ME, BUT I WOULD DO IT AGAIN!!) Yes, they only take cash but when you want something you'll do what you need to to get it

Hard to rate a good business, but only having cash and not taking credit cards was hard for me to get more. Drove 22 minutes from south Jacksonville to get ice cream for 2, I was lucky I had enough cash for one Ice cream $6 in my wallet.

Dreamette has been a part of my life as a child growing up and now as an adult. I really enjoy the variety of items on the menu and prices are reasonable. The employees are friendly and the food is delicious. It brings comfort and joy every time I visit.

They have really good soft ice cream. The portions are nice sizes. Unfortunately they only take cash no debt/credit cards. Parking is kind of tight not that many spaces. But overall it’s worth it! My niece loves this place ❤️ Customer service 👍🏽. It can get crowded but the line moves fast.

I first visited the location on N. Main St. This time, we went to the one on Post St. We live on the southside, and it's definitely worth the drive! The staff is friendly and helpful. The Post St. location is Cash only, by the way.

Ice cream is great. They shouldn’t advertise their milkshakes as such. It’s not a milkshake. It’s just big blob of soft ice cream with straw in it. Always overfilled, no top. If I wanted to chase down running ice cream in a rush I’d order a cone. Every location now does it. Can’t even go there anymore
