Juan took care of my party and he was fantastic, wonderful personality and wouldn’t even let us touch anything on the table, we were told “while you’re at my table you’re not going to work”. Also the food was immaculate, great quality for a reasonable price. Best experience I’ve had at a restaurant in a very very long time.

Great spot in Tavares to enjoy close to authentic Mexican. Order from the specials, those deals came l can't be beat. Table guacamole is great. Just add lime and salt to your discretion. We would visit again on our next trip.

Great food and drinks as well. I went with top shelf margarita and it was on the top for sure. For dinner I got the Carne Asada and it was delicious. The wife got the authentic tacos and she loved it to. Will definitely visit again.

The chips and salsa won again. Great queso. Attentive to special requests. The carne asada was a bit tough but I was already full so it didn't matter. Live music was at the right volume, service was great. My wife said it was her favorite Mexican food in the area.

Saw good reviews so we gave it a try. The food was really good, but the service took forever for everything. Like almost 10 minutes, just to come and say hello. And get a drink order. I understand if it was busy, but there was only 4 tables in there. Food took even longer.

Asked for NO RICE, just beans and meat. Burrito was mainly ALL RICE! Maybe a couple pieces of meat but the rice was so soggy and flavorless the burrito was falling apart and mushy. Just go to a taco truck next time

Salsa is really bad, it doesn't have any flavor. Did you give you a good portion for lunch but it doesn't matter anyway because the taste of the food is not really a Mexican flavor.

Absolutely love the flavors and quality . The roasted salsa is DELICIOUS and the chimichanga beautiful with the carnitas that melt in your mouth . Guacamole freshly made infront of the table and enough for 4 people . Deep fried ice cream order 10 minutes before finishing it is also enough to feed 4 people and a work of art along with being absolutely delicious.

Update: 2024. Everything is still great, however they need to install a door bell ( or camera) that only rings into the kitchen so guests are not waiting for 10 minutes to be seated during the slow periods. When it’s slow, employees tend to be in the kitchen probably doing required side work not realizing a new guest has walked into the front door. Still an excellent place to eat!! We stumbled upon this place one day while on a day trip. It was great experience on every level! The salsa, well, to say the least, is to die for! Thank goodness you can order a 16 ox container of it to take home. The food is excellent! Our server, Killian knew the menu well and continued to check in on us periodically to see if we needed anything. She provided excellent service! We received a lot of food for the money. UPDATE: I went in with my daughter on a Friday night for dinner. The size of the drink cups are now much larger!! Thank you. I now give this place a 5 STAR, PLUS PLUS rating!!! EXCELLENT! This is the best Mexican food restaurant in Tavares hands down.

Been here multiple times. Lovely atmosphere and food. Honestly the best Mexican I've had in all of Central Florida. I threw their name in the pot at work for a catered lunch. Driving the food back to Leesburg (about 20 minute drive) unpacking everything, all I can say is wow! Everything was made perfectly, packed with care and attention to detail. All of the employees loved the food. Big hit! Thank you Eduardo's!!!!

OMG! Finally a local mom and pop shop with authentic Mexican cuisine! The food here is amazingly delicious, the drinks are great and the service is bar none! Will be a returning customer for sure!!!

I’ve been here a couple of times now so I can say the food is consistently good. I have a family of five and no matter what is ordered, all seem to be happy with their meals. Most times there is more than enough to bring home because of the generous portions. Not only is the food good, the prices are not outrageous. I love getting a good value. This is easy for me: I recommend this restaurant for Mexican food.

love the tostadas - they season the ground beef wonderfully. it's actually all i have tried here (about 5 times) because i crave them 😂 ignore the recent one star reviews -- obviously from people who follow some youtuber who messed up some sort of food challenge. looking at those reviewers' other contributions you can tell they most likely never even ate here and aren't local, they just watched a youtube video or something stupid online and decided to one star bomb. lame.

Amazing food, not really a huge fan of the music but if you like country or folk music this might be the place for you. Didn't really fit the vibe if you ask me.

It's Americanized Mexican food. Not authentic, and food taste frozen , I do recommend the aguas frescas, coconut is the only good things , & the sopes

The service was alright (average). But the food was disgusting. Way over salted and I am someone that enjoys salt on my food. I love Mexican food but found this to be one of the worst. All I can say is I hope you have a better experience if you dare to eat here.

This was the worst food. They do a food challenge and make it very bad, and salty. I will just go to a food truck next time. Do not recommend. And no shirt when you complete the burrito challenge! So cheap and lame.

Here after seeing the burrito challenge on YouTube... Be careful they sabotage the challenge with massive salt and water and overcooking the meal. Watch Joel Hansel on YouTube. U will see it live. If they sabotage their challenge I wonder how the cooks treat the meal when they mad*. Spitting and load of salt I bet lol. Con artist. Make it known.

This place is worth the wait as they are usually backed up with orders because it’s so dang good. I just realized I’ve been a patron for almost a decade now! Eduardos never fails to deliver ( unless they're out of a popular item, like Chile rellenos!) We mark our calendar for the first Friday. Food and ENTERTAINMENT are excellent. We make it whenever we can! Never disappointed.

Corn Tortillas were not grilled. Only 1 tortilla for taco. I add salsa and sour cream and soft single shell did not hold together. Food was okay. Not worst or best. Suggest 2 shells grilled for your authentic tacos. Meat was very dry. Drinks were okay too. Salsa seemed like sofrito rather than salsa.

Good food, the queso and horchata were delicious. The food we ordered was super flavorful. The portion were pretty sizeable and the price you pay for the food make this resturant very worth it.

We went to the restaurant to celebrate my son's 17th birthday and I got to say we were dessapointed with the service, the waitress didn't pay to much attention to our table and we had to wait a long time time for the appetizers and dinner and the atmosphere was dead, no music or anything. The only thing good was the food when it finally arrived good portion and it was delicious.

Do not listen to any bad reviews of this place... my family eat here everywhere and we love it. Great prices, big portions, good service, food does take a little longer because it's prepared fresh.... 💪🙏💣💥

Started off slow, but they had just gone through a solid dinner rush. Ordered a margaritas and started on some chips and salsa. The salsa was delicious. Probably the best I've ever tasted. Ordered pulled pork Locos tacos and devoured them. Definitely a place I will return to.

Returned to Eduardo's Locos Tacos tonight with daughter and son-in-law. It's been awhile so, I was eager to revisit. Eduardo's didn't disappoint. The Margaritas were as great as I remembered. Aroz con pollo was out of this world, as was the mini burrito. Be sure to put Eduardo's on your to-do list. You don't want to miss Eduardo's tacos on Tuesday and Thursday. Great service, and did I mention the Mmmmargaritas? Yum!

This place has been around for a while. the staff was friendly and the food was as expected. large portions.

The burrito I had you had to cut with a knife. Normally I just pick it up and eat it. I was disappointed. The portions were huge but still probably would not go back.

Been waiting for over 45 minutes now for food. It's a Sunday evening and not busy in here at all. A couple of people at the bar and a couple of tables but otherwise empty. Decided to try this place out while in town and after looking at other reviews decided to give it a chance. Almost an hour after sitting down food arrived and it is pretty good if I must say.

They re not the reason prices for $ The prices are $$ and have to pay sides for rice mexican and beans.

Best mexican food in central Florida...period!! Delicious food i tried yesterday the make your combo with the enchilada,chimichanga and quesadilla and it was awesome...lots of flavors in a same plate...the service was great...very clean and friendly atmosphere....100% recommended! If tou are en the Tavares,Leesburg,Eustis,Mount Dora region...this is the place...ahhh and the brownie desert is bonkers...believe me...

Overpriced, especially when serving canned chicken! Dead roach in the bathroom and damp smell to the place.
