Always the best when I'm in town. Carne asada was perfectly cooked! Michelada was perfect!

We had a great experience at this restaurant the food was really good and the bathroom are decently clean went back to look for my ring that fell out of my bag and they were so helpful even moved the bench completely out for me .Definitely recommend this restaurant.

My wife and I were looking for a good Mexican restaurant after moving to the area. While driving around one day we stumbled upon El Cielo. So glad we did. If we are craving good Mexican food, good service and a great atmosphere, El Cielo is our destination!

El Cielo's is a great place for some great food with friends and or family. They have good drinks and food, it is reasonably priced given the times.

The food is always tasty and served with a smile, Iran and Patti are very sweet girls

Hostess lacked customer service skills, avocados were old and my to go order was wrong......

We've been here several times and have always had a really nice time. It is on the pricey side but the food is delicious and the drinks are strong. I also like the amount of options they have for kids.

I have never had a bad experience at El Cielo, and I have experienced both locations many times.

Garbage service. So bad, we ended up leaving after waiting 30 minutes for a server to come to the table after being seated. Place is a dump and has really gone down hill quickly in the past year or so. We will not be back.

As usual a Great Tasting Mexican Food! If your Budget is Big and you're Taste also, this is the Place to go! Decent Portions of Food, with usually enough to take Home. They are Higher on the Spectrum for Cost! So be Prepared! 😊

I've been twice and probably never again. First time was great. Good service quick turn around and good food. Second time 15 min wait to be seated. Took that long to have staff come to the front door to ask us how many. And they only did that when a large group came in after us and was seated first. Was told they had a reservation but we watched push tables together while we waited. Then we were seated and waited 28mins and asked several others to ask our waitress to come by. No drinks, no chips, nothing until we watched the bartender come over to ask if we've been served yet. We said no and she was going to get our waitress who was serving the large group to come over. We said no need we were going. She tried to get us drinks but we were done. My wife has said she is never going back there again.

I am a bit of a Mole hound. Always looking for the best tasting sauce. Was not impressed here. The sauce had too much heat in it. Lost any sweetness it should have. And instead of whole chicken breasts . They used shredded chicken. Low on my list

We always eat at El Cielo, but have never had them cater until today. The food was amazing, and they were right on time for our 70+ person graduation. The day was stressful to begin with, but El Cielo catered the food and did an incredible job setting everything up & provided the best authentic Mexican meal for all of our friends and family. We couldn't have asked for anything more. Thank you to the owner Torre and staff who were amazing, and so accommodating from the beginning. Several of our closest F&F asked where the food came from because they were so impressed. When our F&F come back to town, we know where they'll want to eat dinner #ElCielo

The food is better here than most Mexican restaurants around town. Wait staff was prompt. I would definitely spend my money here again.

This place makes real good Chicken Fried Steak with green chilli smothered on it. Try it, I get it more often then I should.

We had good food, good service and good times. Pretty standard Mexican food. But it's always been good no matter what I order. The salsa bar is nice.

Been going for years and love their Carne asado tacos but we were really disappointed this time, slow service and then the tacos didn't taste as good as usual, chewy, lower grade meat. Not sure if a one off, will try one more time. Not happy paying more for poor quality.

This used to be our favorite Mexican place ever since we moved here 8 years ago. It's gone so far down hill. We keep trying to give it a chance. After tonight we won't be going back anytime soon. The servers are always by the kitchen area, never coming to check on you. Food comes out cold and flavorless. And prices have become insane. We paid $8 for a side of rice and beans that was the size of your palm. We are just done with the disappointment.

Service is excellent but depending on the time of day. Great salsa selection. Awesome food and free chips and Bean/Cheese dip before meal. The servers are super nice and polite. Kind of a dark atmosphere and I believe they could have more lights for being a restaurant but it doesn't bother me because the food and drinks makes it worth visiting.

Pray that place never goes down in quality, the food is good, the prices are as good as they can be right now, and the decor is pretty nice to look at. I unironically reccomend this place, and it's one of the few places where even the Chips and Beans they serve you when you sit down are addictive

Been here many times and the food and service is always so good. Even with a little wait due to being busy, hands down still amazing food.

I ordered chorizo and cheese appetizer which came with 4 tortillas. I asked for another 4 tortillas fir which I was charged $13.00 for those 4 tortillas! Unbelievable, needless to say I won't be ordering anything extra if I ever go back.

The food was amazing, no doubt. The problem lied with the service. The staff weren't busy, stayed behind a counter without helping. Never came to our table to help or check in. We had to get up ourselves and ask for things because they never came by.

Bad service and waitress automatically put an 18%tip on my bill we were a party of 4..when asked she (carmen)said the owners started the policy of auto gratitity if the bill was $80.00or more..but it was never told to us or is it posted anywhere.

We have never had a bad meal here. The staff is a bit complacent at times, but over all a good experience.

Frankly, the food isn't very good.

Ordered, smothered burritos with ground beef. The chile was ok, but couldn't eat the burrito. The meat tasted off, like it was old. Im not sure what was wrong, but I asked my husband and son, they both said the same and it was such a waste to throw it all out, since my son got the nachos and the beef ruined it.

A friend suggested I try El Cielo, saying that it was some of the best Mexican food in Greeley. Well the place did not disappoint. I've been there twice so far and everything my wife and I had was outstanding. The Margs are also great and they have a full bar on one side of the restaurant. The only issue we had was on our first visit. The service was a bit slow, and they completely forgot our appetizer. The second visit was much better in terms of the service. Overall, I would highly recommend this place and I plan to make this my go-to Mexican restaurant.

Absolutely, hands down, the best Mexican food in Greeley.

Party of 8...seated quickly. Food was fine, no real concerns. Where our experience was ruined was one of the staff began mopping the floor with fabuloso. This completely killed the mood and any aroma from the food was quickly doused with cleaning product smell. Cleaning has to occur and that's understandable, however, please read the room.

Food was nothing to write home about. They repeated my order but still didn't get what I ordered. We ordered 2 stuffed sopaipillas. Both with hamb and refried beans. One mild and one half and half. No beans in either. Too much meat. Ordered a crispy chili relleno with half and half. Hubby said it was just a chili breaded and fried. Absolutely nothing inside. I also order chili cheese fries with meat with mild sauce because I have burning mouth syndrome, so I can't eat anything spicy. They were so damn hot that even hubby could eat them. Said the sauce was hotter than his half and half. Needless to say, over half of the food went in the trash. The sopaipilla had good flavor but was not my favorite due to no beans. I wouldn't go back. 1st time there and the last time.

The waitresses were rude It took them almost 45 minutes to get our food to us. And thirty minutes to take our drink order didn't get our Drinks ten minutes before we got served their food Got the bill before we got our fgot. We drove from El Paso Tx to visit my son Colorado.. We decided to stop for lunch .. I was really surprised at how good the food was, being that it's so far from the Mexican border.. I was completely satisfied and fulfilled my craving for the flavors I grew up with. It was different being served refried beans and chips as a welcoming appetizer, which I enjoyed. They also have a self-serve salsa bar that was really good.

When we arrived I was not impressed with the person who seated us. I didn’t want to stay because she hated life and made me hate life. lol Buttt we got some beans/cheese and chips. The beans and cheese were mid and the chips weren’t that great, but with the mocajete salsa it’s pretty great! The cheese enchiladas are really good and the chile relleno is good. The beans are ok and the rice is ok. Overall good experience and I’d go again. The waitress was also nice.

Great breakfast burritos! Awesome food & service. We’re originally from Texas (and honestly spoiled on TexMex) but El Cielo is very good, and has a lot of choices on the salsa bar as well.

This place was pretty much average. I ended up getting a raspberry margarita and I'm glad I did not get the ultimate orange margarita. A friend who went with me ended up getting the ultimate orange margarita and he absolutely did not like it. I ended up getting the enveladas and the mole sauce was a little bit bitter. It is only the second time that I have ever had mole that has a bitter flavor to it that was enough to make itself stick out in my mind. It was pretty much average food for an average price with average weight staff and an average atmosphere. So it wasn't bad, but I will say it's not a place that I would recommend unless somebody told me I just want to grab a quick bite of Mexican and a sit down atmosphere that isn't a chain fast food place.

I honestly didn't like there cocktail had more onions then anything else and there michaladas didn't taste right I don't think we will be back

Cuando este lugar abrió la comida estaba buena pero hoy fui y pedí unos tacos de camarón y estaban muy malos no tenian sal la salsa tampoco tenía sal ni sabor el repollo de los tacos escurría agua las tortillas frías, no voy a regresar, la mesera iso buen trabajo, pero la persona de la cocina debería hacer otra cosa la cocina no es lo suyo. .

El servicio esta bien pero la comida esta mala pedí tacos de camaron no tenían sabor ni sal les pusieron las salsas si sabor

Great service, our group of 12 was very well taken care of. Quesadillas are yummy!! Great lunch menu and again great service.

This was one of our favorite takeout places during the shutdown because they had a great family meal. Now it’s one of our favorite Sunday afternoon spots for dining in. Great service, excellent food (huge variety on the menu) and good atmosphere - lots of TVs in the bar area for games. I had the ceviche last time, which was phenomenal. Today, I went with the mole burrito. I am a sucker for mole and this didn’t disappoint. They have plenty of beers on tap and a large variety of margaritas as well. Highly recommend.

Service was slow but the food is ok

We tried this place in Florida and fell in love. We decided to try this location. Food was amazing,the horchata is on point! Very good. We will be back for sure. By the way Pati our server was amazing. She didn't crowd or bug. Thank you Pati!

Restaurant was mostly empty but service was slow and waitress rarely asked how we were doing. Waitress eventually over charged me for something I did not order. She told me I was wrong when I asked her about it.

I love the nachos and street tacos here!!! They have a large menu and lots of good, different margarita’s and other drinks that pair well with the Mexican food. They have a self-service salsa bar. The service is just ok. Out of 10+ times coming, there was only one time the service was memorable. It’s not horrific service. Just nothing above or beyond basic service with minimal conversation. The food and prices totally make up for that, though. Definitely one of the better Mexican restaurants in the area.

A manager named Herlinda did not ID me when ordering an alcoholic beverage and was the worst waitress. At 7:30pm on 8/4/2023 on the cameras in the restaurant it’s seen the waitress not verifying the age of a table of 6 before serving plenty of alcoholic beverages. It’s scary that waitresses like this exist because they were serving minors alcohol. I will be placing a report because this is unacceptable. We waited 45 mins to get our order taken and another hour to get our food out. We had to get our own chips and had to ask about our food twice. Then still had the nerve to put 18% gratuity on our check. I will not be going back. Don’t eat here.

So the food is actually pretty good most of the time. Service had been lacking recently though. My biggest issue the last few times though is the potatoes in the breakfast burritos have been moldy. No noticeable mold on them but you can taste it. I also had the same experience with the rice recently as well. Moldytaste. I just don't get how they couldn't notice that. I can't be the only one that noticed.

Went here with family since we are in town for 3 days. Was a nice restaurant. I really liked that they serve a like a bean dip instead of salsa for chips - a great way to mix it up in my opinion. Good food, service was pretty good. I think our waitress may have had an off day she didn't seem like she wanted to wait in us but she wasn't mean or anything

Our waitress was very kind and polite. My food was served cold, the hamburger on my tostada was very greasy. The guacamole didn't have any taste very bland.

We had 20 or so people and they accommodated us very quickly. The waitress did her best as they were short handed that day. Food was good.

I love this place. Recently moved into the neighborhood and am thrilled that this place is within walking distance. The food is great, the chili is hot, the servers are friendly as hell, the bar doesn't skimp on pours and the kids menu has ACTUAL FOOD on it. The place is also CLEAN.

Wish I could this place a great review as the food is so good they even catered an event for us however the service is REALLY bad. We WERE frequent customers but the last few visits have been nothing but disappointing. Last time we were there we sat for 10 minutes and not one waitress came to serve us while all the other tables were being taken care of. Finally one showed up and our drinks never arrived. We finally just got up and left.

Food was good, the service was lacking, the atmosphere was boring and dark. I ate there when they first opened in the new location and it was busy, live and good... This time around it was just empty, dead yet the food was good... Can tell how inflation, and lack of staff is killing the place... Like most businesses... Sad really.

I love this place and you will too. Their tomatillo salsa is out of this world and hands down, I love it every time I get there. Their Alhambra sopaipilla is the best thing on the menu.
