I can count on two hands the number of people I know that stopped going to Fairlane, not because of the food, which is good, but did not like how they were treated there. This treatment also happened to me twice and i have also avoided it. I decided to try again this morning for breakfast with my girlfriend. I pulled up to allow her to check if tables were available in this small restaurant. After a few minutes, she came out and said one table seemed empty. However, she waited for one of the 3 people working, all of whom saw her, to verify. When no one came, she then asked one worker and was told to wait. After notifying me, i told her to go back, and i would park. I was sure she would be helped. Arriving 4-5 minutes later, I walked in and she was still standing there alone with all three workers standing around nearby. Huh? At that moment, I realized that Fairlane still has customer service issues, and we left. There are a nnmber if other restaurants in the area that value theit customers more than Fairlane.

Great place for a quick bite to eat. Very small on the inside. Food was quick and delicious. The staff was friendly. It is a cash only place so be prepared for that. Lots of regulars there talking like they’ve known each other for decades which is cool for a little corner spot like this. Very friendly.

First time eating at this cozy gem of a diner. Home fries were perfectly done! Come early if you visit on weekends. Nice slices of cake, quick service and friendly staff. Will definitely be returning

Best and raisin French toast ever!!

Small eatery, big taste! This was my first time here, But definitely will not be my last. The inside is very tiny, so be ready to wait if coming on the weekend. But the service was quick. The absolute diner feel this area needs.

This is the best you can get in home grown small business meals. Exceptional service, always fresh made meals and specials, and never a disappointing meal.

Just a Absolute delight, a must try, the omelet, the Bassett ice cream shake,the potato side.. om goodness, I'm getting hungry just posting this...trust me you won't be disappointed, I go out quite often !!!!

Called in a take out order for two breakfast sandwiches, told them over the phone I would be paying with a “$50” bill since they are cash only, and they responded “that shouldn’t be a problem”. I get there and before I can pay for my order older, alady calls the cash register girl back to her to tell her to double check my $50 bill, showing her the motion of how to verify and all, as if I was going to give a counterfeit dollar bill? I am a black man of course, the whole situation seemed very unfair, the passive aggressions in this environment don’t deserve black business, this is my last time eating here.

It's a cute little Mom and Pop dinner ... We had the Peach 🍑 Pancakes I ordered Scrapple so delicious I will definitely be back to the Fairlane Grill

I've eaten at Fairlane many times. It's a gem. Outstanding food, wonderful staff... The first and last place to look for breakfast in Erdenheim. Take out or dine in, either are excellent!

This is my first visit here and I was pleasantly surprised. This is a very small establishment but definitely a nice family place to have breakfast or lunch. Food was good and we were served quick. I would definitely recommend this place to try if you are ever in the Flourtpwn area .

Great place for breakfast in this tiny institution on Bethlehem Pike. It only sits about 20 to 25 people, so be prepared for a bit of a wait on weekends. Great milkshakes as well for after lunch!

There's a lot to be said about tiny 20-some seat, blink and you'll miss it, been in the neighborhood for decades diners and this little jewel certainly takes the prize. Let's get real - there's wisdom here. Obvious is the spotless cleanliness. The attention to detail from hospitality to the simple yet well rounded menu is impeccable. My no-frills corned beef sandwich came out the way I asked: bread well-toasted and to my surprise, pumpernickel, not just boring rye. Heavy on the mayo. The "small" fries for $2 extra were like something reminiscent of a Woolworth's lunch counter when I was a kid. And the coffee? I'd go just for the coffee. Friendly customers, friendly owners. I'm sold.

Food was fresh and served quickly. Coffee was hot and fresh and topped off when needed. Staff was nice and did their job with a smile. Highly recommend stopping at this home town type place.

The staff are friendly and engaging, and that makes for a feeling of having meals with friends and family.

This is a small but popular little restaurant. Pros: it is small place with good portions. Cons: the food is salty. I ordered a side of bacon and I was barely able to eat it. Next the omelet was very yokey. It almost fell apart if it wasn't for the over the top amount of cheese. Also note THEY ONLY TAKE CHASH. That is a big flaw. Finally the pancakes are pre cinnamoned. This might not be a con for some but it was for my family. Overall I would have prefer something less salty and alot better cooked. Though it was really good beside the things I mentioned and would definitely go back!😀

Ate here once, had breakfast, it was breakfast. It's a smaller dineresque, eatery. Food was good and ambience was as could be expected, staff was attentive and personable. I would reccomend this place for breakfast....but please use street parking, the parking lot is for residents of the apartments above the shops

I have been going here for quick and satisfying comfort food for over a decade. The staff is like a family. They are friendly but not pushy, and good at their jobs. The food is surprisingly excellent despite the simple menu items. A charming decor, kind atmosphere and killer potatoes. Favorite diner ever.

Wonderful neighborhood diner with great food and wonderful service. My best friends are regulars, and I’m an honorary regular. I wish I could get out to the Fairlane more often. If you go for breakfast on the weekend, prepare to stand outside for a while until a table is open!

Fairlane Grill is a local treasure. We were a little disappointed that we missed the breakfast hours but our burgers and fries were delicious. And, remember when at the Fairlane Grill make sure you get a milkshake. . . Their signature treat!!

Since no one had power they were a bit over crowded. The food was freshly made and good. Service was spectacular. Just realize before you get there they are cash only.
